1481  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: December 06, 2021, 11:27:45 AM

My 6y old Bittrex verified account is restricted for 2 months, can't withdraw, can't trade.

They don't provide any answers, their legal team does not respond to emails.

Don't leave your funds on Bittrex, you have been warned.

If you're a non-US user, have you tried reaching out thru their live chat?

For US persons, you can only escalate your ticket number it seems. Thru trexie bot: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
1482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why should I use Kucoin over Binance? on: December 05, 2021, 11:29:19 PM
I find kucoin to be laxer compared to other exchanges. To give you an example, if you forgot your trading password and get asked to KYC, you can refuse and they will release your funds. I know it's only with trading password but still, some exchanges can be the by the book type when it comes to their policies. I'm not sure how they compare to binance but I expected them to be stricter than before with all the watchdogs keeping an eye.
1483  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange won't release bitcoins unless I verify identity. Advice appreciated. on: December 05, 2021, 05:41:56 PM
Pursuing a legal action doesn't look like a good idea cause stakes seems to be higher than the reward. It's possible to not hire a lawyer if you know what you're doing or have a lawyer who guides your for free or for cheaps but there would still be travel and living expenses if you're coming from another country...

You can try to put on a front that you're actually serious about pursuing a legal action. If that doesn't work, it's time for an ultimatum. Good luck on whatever you choose OP.
1484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmart exchange hacked. on: December 05, 2021, 11:56:26 AM
Time to change scripts Cheesy

100% secure for trading and digital asset management

$200M being only a small percentage of their total funds would have been more believable if this wasn't a lesser known exchange... It doesn't help that I'm seeing exaggerated statements in their website such as "The most trusted cryptocurrency trading platform" and the 100% secure (there's no such setup). Even a cent should not to be trusted with them.
1485  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [LIST] ✔️ A Curated List of Web Wallets (work-in-progress) on: December 03, 2021, 09:43:01 PM
... you can easily add your XLM private keys and import your assets residing in Stellar chain like eth or btc, usdc.

So it doesn't let you store actual BTCs? if so, i don't think it deserve a spot here. Pseudo-bitcoins may have bitcoin in their name but they're technically altcoins.
1486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is this exchange legit? on: December 02, 2021, 03:38:22 PM
I hope you haven't been talking with the girl for long... quite a lot of romance scams involves weeks/months or even a year of grooming so victims are less likely to notice the red flags (one of the nastiest schemes). Reach out to friends/fam/therapist if you're having a hard time.

Report your case in any applicable law enforcement OP. You will probably not get your money back but it could help in the long run.
1487  Economy / Goods / Re: Painting for a Cause ( Raise Donation for my grand mother operation) on: December 01, 2021, 01:32:04 PM
It's basically the same as selling in the usual places. You would need to put in every information a buyer needs like what you're selling, how much? the countries you're willing to ship to, their pictures, condition etc... the only difference is your audience are mostly skeptics (for a good reason!) so you should probably clear any potential doubts. This is also why asking for donations doesn't do well here unless it is started by a reputable member.

I would suggest:

1. Adding a note which contains bitcointalk + your username + today's date when you take pictures of your paintings. This is to prevent they aren't stolen from someone else.

2. Use a reputable escrow/midman which is good for both parties as it prevents scams, see this list: ₿ LIST ₿ Bitcointalk's ESCROW providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠

As a newbie, you won't be able to post pictures but I'm sure the next jr member+ poster would help quote the image links for you.

You can just edit this post or start a new one.
1488  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need advice on https://miningwholesale.eu/ which is located in the Netherlands.. on: December 01, 2021, 04:13:02 AM
Apart from the official sellers it is difficult to find a serious and reliable supplier.

Even if it's only for second hand products, there is always a doubt!

For this, i think you'll get better responses in dedicated mining boards/child boards. In any case, directing to the manufacturer/official distributors would be the least risky choice.
1489  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is you Opinion About Gate.io on: November 30, 2021, 08:30:39 AM
If you're only looking to buy and would withdraw them right after/don't want KYC. An alternative is to ask someone reputable with access to such coins to buy them for you. But the fee would most probably be higher than gate.io. If you're fine with that, look into currency exchange board.

Try to ask CryptopreneurBrainboss as well if they can get the cryptocurrencies you're looking to buy.

Update: You can now exchange your cryptocurrency to any desired coin or stablecoins of your choice provides they're listed on Binance exchange or other top exchange with liquidity.
1490  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need advice on https://miningwholesale.eu/ which is located in the Netherlands.. on: November 30, 2021, 04:09:18 AM
I saw some reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/miningwholesale.eu but what seems strange to me is that they say they have their business since 2013 and there are almost no reviews.

This should be enough to stay away. With how prevalent fake reviews are, you would want the reviews to be spread out in various platforms and not solely on websites where it is easy to drop fake reviews like trustpilot.

I should note being listed as trusted/tested in asicminervalue means nothing cause they have done the same thing to shady websites, see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5352025.msg57602908#msg57602908
1491  Economy / Exchanges / Re: In Binance, can an unverified user withdraw part of their crypto... on: November 26, 2021, 11:58:44 PM
I think the whole binance verification thing of flawed, or they are just pretending to verify users just to get the law enforcement agencies off their asses. I have a friend try to verify their binance account the other day. The first verification step was the video part. They did is 3 times with an error that verification failed, and then on the 4th attempt. Account was showing as verified minus them, even uploading any other documents like ID  Grin

The process is automated and is indeed flawed. But it applies in every CEX not just binance although you could say that such flaws are more prevalent in binance/other exchange. This is why others have manual verification where you get an actual human to review your case instead. The latter isn't far from reality either since their by phase roll out of withdraw-only for existing users was their means of slowing down their KYC for all.
1492  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any crypto investment calculator alternatives? on: November 25, 2021, 11:14:13 PM
I'm using this: https://btc.feh.im/

But there is no date you can toggle and so you would have to put in both the entry and exit price manually (i actually like it). The fees are also in percentage only.
1493  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for Hashocean Investors who lost money on: November 25, 2021, 10:02:34 PM
There was someone looking to recover their money weeks ago (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5365550.0). I'm sure you can find other people as well cause even the lunch money back then is worth something today. It's the reason why every time bitcoin reaches an ATH, there would be an increase of number of ppl seeking to recover their lost/neglected bitcoins.

I don't think you have zero chance since technologies are improving each day. But In general, it's hard to track someone who knows how to conceal their footprints.
1494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: In Binance, can an unverified user withdraw part of their crypto... on: November 24, 2021, 10:53:09 PM
Some pre-mandatory KYC unverified accounts still have the 2BTC daily withdrawal limit. To check yours, refer to your withdrawal page (https://www.binance.com/en/my/wallet/account/main/withdrawal/crypto/)

The total amount you will receive (minus the fees) would show up after all the fields have been filled out in the withdrawal page as well.
1495  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance.com allow buying fiat on p2p & have the fiat sent to someone else? on: November 22, 2021, 11:00:23 PM
It is against their policy.

III. Buyer’s Instructions:

2. Please use the payment method with the account owner name that is consistent with your registered name on Binance (The name must be identical with the KYC Verified name on Binance.) The Platform does not support non-real-name verified payment methods. The User’s P2P function will be suspended for a minimum of 15 days if a non-real-name verified payment method has been used.

... 7. In case of any violations of the “Buyer’s Instructions”, the Platform may, in accordance with this Policy, the Terms or relevant laws and regulations, or in its sole discretion, take measures as it considers fit, including but not limited to freezing the violator’s account or disabling any account functions on the Binance trading platform or/and the Platform.

IV. Seller’s Instructions:

1. The account owner name you have used for collecting payment must be consistent with your registered name on Binance. (The name shall be identical with the KYC Verified name on Binance.)

...8. In case of any violations of the stated “Seller’s Instructions”, the Platform may, in accordance with this Policy, the Terms or relevant laws and regulations, or in its own discretion, take measures as it considers fit, including but not limited to freezing the violator’s account or disabling any account functions on the Binance trading platform.

Can I ask what's your purpose OP? You can wait for the money to land to your bank account then proceed to transfer them to non-binance person either thru their bank/somewhere else.
1496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CryptoSeen - cryptocurrency market monitoring on: November 19, 2021, 09:13:04 PM
1. Doesn't prove anything when it comes to guranteed profits.
2. It is on your website. If you're in dark about this, you should hire an english speaker instead of relying to google translate.
3. creating a telegram account is easy and so reviews from telegram alone aren't enough.
1497  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hashnest on: November 18, 2021, 05:53:37 PM
OK, at least they didn't tell me lies but this doesn't solve he problem
Sure. I just want to get out but they don't let me withdraw the coins I still have there.

I PM'd them about this thread. Let's hope they are being notified thru email for every PMs and checks their mailbox.

Consider starting a scam accusation thread about them if you have been waiting for too long (recommended format).
1498  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Are they really stealing people's BTC? on: November 18, 2021, 02:58:50 PM
There was someone (or a group of ppl apparently) wanting to file a lawsuit and was looking for fellow victims, thread: Blockchain.com scam - lost funds

But this was in 2019 and who knows what happened. I'm guessing they weren't able to push thru considering I don't see any articles about this. They did left their email addresses and yt channel, you can try reaching out if you wanna hear the specifics.

Another possibility is this could be a scam, exercise caution as always.
1499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CryptoSeen - cryptocurrency market monitoring on: November 17, 2021, 11:59:28 PM
Nobody bothers you to check our signals on a demo balance

So you think your first few tries which I'm assuming succeeded would apply to following signals as well? Question, can it predict the future drama, manipulation, hype, news, etc.. as well? nope, and thats one of the reasons why you shouldn't offer guaranteed super profits everyday.

Demo market is when people are not risking anything, it's very different from actual. If this was only tested there, that makes this a lot less credible to guarantee profit.

Well, these signals have always been shady. They're either a tool for a pump and dump scheme or outright scam.
1500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hashnest on: November 17, 2021, 05:54:08 PM
I have already written to bitmain repeatedly and they deny they have relationship with hashnest.  They say they have "separated" from hashnest, that they are different entities, that I am complaining with the wrong company and that they can't help me.

So either they lie to keep my money or all the sites that say "you can trust hashnest because it's a brand of bitmain" have wrong information.

When were these info published? they could just be outdated.

March 2019 article:

Hashnest, a cloud-based mining platform, is no longer a Bitmain subsidiary but an external project funded by it.

and it's been two years since... they might as well not be funded by them anymore considering cloud mining is not as in demand as before.

In any case, it's best to get out of anything cloud mining. When things go south, it's highly likely you will be used to make up for the company's losses.
