1641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 29, 2023, 11:04:17 PM
As I have been saying in the last couple of weeks, $28,500 is the big resistance that we need to conquer, although there is a big jump in the price and even hitting it in the last 24 hours, it's not enough for the price to sustain it (again). It might be that the bulls are really pushing very hard to an eventual $30k this March or this is a bull trap, we will find out later. In any case the $30k barrier is just like 6% from the current price so by that percentage it's possible to achieved if there is one positive news that will boost the price in the last 24 hours. So it will take a lot of effort and money for the bulls to see the price at $30k. Nevertheless it could also be done in the first or second week or April. For now the price level that we should be looking at is $28,500 and sustain it.
1642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto traders beaten by girls on: March 29, 2023, 10:45:39 PM
Most likely it could have been Gen Z women leading the old and traditional men, who might be in stock trading for years and shift to crypto. And if this is the case then this girls are willing to take the risk big time and so they could be winning as compare to men. However, doesn't matter, I mean we all know that this market is open for everyone, even young girls or even those who are old enough but maybe they don't have that risk as compare to them. But looking at the numbers, it's just a small difference, 4% is minimal in my opinion. But if there is something that we can get out of this numbers and gender comparison, it's that crypto is here to stay and every one has equal opportunity to make money.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 29, 2023, 10:29:56 PM
^^ Not really sure what do you mean by not interested, Canelo is still the cash cow of boxing, so whoever he fight next, will definitely make a lot of money. And maybe Bivol can double on what he get during their first fight as he already beat Canelo at 175. Now there is a scenario that might interested Bivol, that is to fight Canelo as his super middle weight class, which means that Canelo will have to put all his belt on the line. So the stakes are high and Bivol might not resists it because it's going to be a win-win situation for him. And if by chance he beat Canelo twice, then he will be a double belt champion at 168 lbs and his 175 lbs. And Canelo wanted to get his revenge against Bivol, we totally didn't expect that he will lost to Bivol.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 29, 2023, 10:13:47 PM
Yes, but we all know that Casimero loves training, you can see it in his blog. So for sure he wouldn't take this fighter very lightly because if he lose this fight, it will be over for his dream to become a world champion in 122 lbs.

And with a new manager which is a Japanese, he might want to impressed them with a huge win against Nghitumbwa. Casimero has the experience as well, he knows how hard it is to win in the enemy's soil, so he will prevent that from happening to him. If he wins, they the doors will open up for him to even fight Inoue because of his Japanese promoters.
This is an easy Casimero fight. Yes, he loves to train and he's not that careless anymore. He may have been like sort of boastful but that's just for the audience behind the camera, he knows what he's doing. It may look like that he's careless and belittling his opponents on the camera but that's not all about it. That's just to add value for the emotions of his fans for them to watch more of his fights but he's a titled champion, and not just one title so he knows really exactly what he's doing and he's got the upperhand winning against his opponent for this match since he's got more experience.

He will definitely trained hard and maybe look for a knockout, he needs to win impressively and send a message to the rest of the super bantamweight fighters. This is an opportunity for him to show that he still got it, can knock out his opponents. And yes, usually if you have new manager you want to show them that they are correct in picking you up. And I believed that he is still chasing that big money fight against Inoue and so he pick a Japanese manager because it's going to be an advantage for him to negotiate as both are Japanese. So good move for him to get out of MP or whoever his last manager is.
1645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 29, 2023, 09:54:06 PM
Today is the day I’ve been waiting for. Kevin Durant making his season debut for the Suns at home after returning from an ankle injury suffered in the layup line the last time he tried making his home debut. The game will be on ESPN and should be worth the watch as Durant tries to take yet another contender to the Finals. Who knows how games we’ll see him play in Phoenix.

Oh well I thought he won't be back until the playoffs but here we go. I think Durant fits with the Suns just as good as he was in GSW. We've seen their offensive fire power when he and Booker are both playing. Plus they have CP3 and Ayton, these guys needs to be double teamed when caught on fire. However, double teaming one of these guys will lead to another open man and that makes the Suns looks scary in the playoffs.

Same here, I thought that he might suit up, but not tonight, but I guess the Suns wanted to see Durant now not later as they still need to win games before the playoff. And it's another tough win who wanted to go to the playoff, the Timberwolves. They are in a 4 game winning streak, KAT and Naz Reid which is the big surprised for them in the last 5 games, plus they still have another big men in Gobert, so Ayton and Biyombo will have their hands full against those guys. But the big difference could be Durant if he play in this game, so adding him to the mix against the Timberwolves, it's going to be big. I'm going to watch and this game and most likely going to bet on the Suns at home.

As for the big Warriors win, that is the Warriors that we all know, they have the championship DNA and can come back from big deficit and snatch that win, specially in their very own Chase arena. Steph Curry, still playing at MVP levels again.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: March 29, 2023, 09:40:15 PM
The fight might pushed for another date as there was another setback, Ortiz is now injured,

Quote
BoxingScene.com has learned that the Eimantas Stanionis-Vergil Ortiz WBA ‘Regular’ welterweight title fight was postponed for the second time. Ortiz was forced to shut down training camp after suffering an undisclosed illness. The development forced the unbeaten contender to withdraw from a scheduled April 29 date with Stanionis at College Park Center at The University of Texas at Arlington campus.

https://www.boxingscene.com/vergil-ortiz-falls-ill-wba-title-fight-versus-eimantas-stanionis-postponed-again--173465

So not sure if we are going to see this great fight though. We don't know what this undisclosed illness is, but prior to that Ortiz was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis. It's a form or medical condition wherein the dead muscles are releasing toxins to his liver and kidneys.

And there is rumor that this undisclosed illness could be related to Peds or the cycle or recycle of it, again it's just a rumor and no one can confirm it.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sports do you like bet apart from the the listed one here? on: March 29, 2023, 09:15:39 PM
Recently I came across a few articles on the Internet while trying to understand what makes sports betting so lucrative. I now know that there are three big sports that every Gambler, Sports Enthusiast, and a lot of fans are engaged in Sports betting. I personally have not seen or realized it but a good majority of teens & preteens are already into it.

I hope everyone would agree with this list:

  • Soccer
  • NBA
  • Cricket
  • UFC

This list is not based on betting revenue or based on the number of fans. It is simply compiled by me after watching the activity on this board for different games thread. I am aware that I did not add Tennis, MMA and Boxing as my question is about those sports that are not being discussed here but you do bet on it either occasionally or on a regular basis.

Yeah, pretty much that is the order of listing here in the community. You can have to see that Soccer could be the most discussed sports because there are a lot of members who love that sports and most likely betting on it. I'm a big NBA fan so yes, this could be in the second spot. I know cricket but I haven't bet on it, but I see it's popular amongst West Indies countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. For UFC, it has gain some traction as well in the last 10 years or so and it could be as exciting as boxing for me.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | POSTPONED on: March 29, 2023, 08:55:17 AM
Ok, here the latest date for this fight,

https://www.instagram.com/p/CqW-nS1KZpJ/

The news came for their official IG account, so the fight is still a go this July as we expected it to be around June or something. But at least for fans for Inoue, we will have a date and no postponement for this fight. And it's 4 months for now, not sure if Fulton will get a tune up fight, or just remain active in the gym or take a break from training and only go back like May for another 8 weeks final training for this fight. Same with Inoue, probably if he had undergone surgery it can heal in the next 2 months and hitting the gym by May as well.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2023, 08:32:05 AM
The Warriors are currently losing. What is the best decision to make at this point, the moneyline or the handicap?

It appears that their struggles from the previous game have carried over, as they seem to be experiencing a hangover effect. However, given that they are the defending champions, there is hope that they will sort out their issues in the second half. As an alternative, I am considering placing a bet on the Warriors in the third quarter, as they have a tendency to perform well during this period, especially when they are down at the end of the first half.

Regardless of the type of betting line used, the Warriors emerged victorious. Despite being down by as much as 17 points, they made a comeback in the second half and defeated the Pelicans by 11 points. The Warriors put on an impressive performance, with standout players such as JP and Curry, and particularly Draymond Green, who demonstrated his exceptional defensive skills. In the second half, the Warriors displayed their characteristic strength and dominance, reminding everyone why they are considered one of the top teams in the league.

I was fortunate enough to win both the handicap and moneyline bets, and even a special bet where I wagered on the Warriors winning by 11 or more points, which had odds of 10.00 in my bookie. Although the amount I placed wasn't significant, I'm thrilled to have earned a decent profit today.

Yeah, if we have a bet on the Warriors on the ML or handicap, it's scary for the first half, even in the third, as we think that the chances of them to win is small because Pelicans took a huge lead.

But they finally found their shooting at the end of the third quarter, and usually if they make that huge comeback or at least out score teams in the third, percentage is high for them to win the game. I just had a conservative -6.5 bet on them + Magic at least to cover the 8.5 spread against the Memphis. It was also a bad bet for me, but the Magic in the fourth quarter scored big specially in the garbage time.

1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: March 28, 2023, 11:48:37 PM
As for the price of tickets:

Quote
Promoter Top Rank Inc. announced Tuesday that the price point for the three-fight Haney-Lomachenko telecast is $59.99. Haney – the undefeated, undisputed lightweight champion – will defend his IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO 135-pound championships against Lomachenko on May 20 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

https://www.boxingscene.com/haney-lomachenko-pay-per-view-price-set-5999-three-fights-on-20-broadcast--173453

So it's just $59.99, surprised how low the ticket about this fight as usually they tag something like $79.99 with this kind of magnitude, it's a unification fight in the 135 lbs. Perhaps the goal is to get as much casual boxing fans to watch this fight. The fight is getting closer although at first we will have to witnessed Davis vs Garcia first which the ticket is obviously more expensive that this fight because of the hype.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 28, 2023, 11:39:33 PM
Dallas wakes up? Or its only temporal for one game?, what a mess they are.

A win is a win though.

I cant believe how the NBA managers can make a good team around Doncic, seems like they have to learn some things. Anyways this also talk bad of Doncic, he cant make play the team better, also with another star like Irving. I dont know what to think.

If they cant go to play off this can be one of the most shit mega teams in history.

I guess it's learning process for Luka, to be fair he got injured as well causing the Mavs losing skid. If they don't make the play-off or at least be in the play-in, they will have to talk and sit down and probably look at the tapes and see areas for improvement.

Too early to conclude that it's a bad marriage between Luka and Kyrie.

1653  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: March 27, 2023, 11:56:18 PM
I would also agree with you that bitcoin may be seen at 27K or below for a few days, not just today. Because the market has already spread some bad news.  But if Bitcoin continues the flow of the past two months then I think it will go above 30K in April.
We all make predictions about Bitcoin but these predictions can be different most of the time. The market had a bearish trend in the beginning of March but it turned bullish again from the 2nd week. Then week situation in the US backing sector is helping to make Bitcoin strong again. Current price of bitcoin is 27000. Experts say, very soon the market may start a major upswing. But if it comes below $26000 it may take longer for the next bullish movement.
What I meant was that the flow at the beginning and end of both last February and March looked almost the same, And if that flow is applied next month too then I think next month will exceed 30k . But I agree with your words that same trend will always go it is not true.
Yes it has noticed that the market has turned greenish after seeing some volatility after the collapse of the US banking sector.  But I think if a solid resistance can form around 26k or 27k then we will see bitcoin in 30k plus next month.

It's possible that both movement could have same similarities at the beginning and end of the month. But this could easily break in the next coming months and so we can't conclude that the trend will continue or month. Resistance is $28k, or at least the big $28,500. If we have enough push for this month? I have no doubt that we might see $30k by this time. However, we didn't break it, and so comes the correction and retracement as low as $26,900. And slowly we gain back again to $27,100++, still a good sign that we are still very much bullish in the next 3 days and we might see the end price for this month around $27,500 and that is very healthy for us. For April? we will want to see a continues trend, very positive and bullish case for at $30k price.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 27, 2023, 11:47:42 PM
~snip~
We always want to buy cheaper and sell more expensive, as OP advises. In practice, it is difficult to guess with this and it is unreasonable to expect the best price for buying and selling. As for me, this is how you should buy at the first opportunity that has fallen out and, in the same way, sell if it makes a profit. You need to proceed from your expectations, goals and strategy.

I see Bitcoin more of a great savings account.

The more you wait to use your funds, the better value you'll get. Just keep saving all the time until you need it.

If you did the same with fiat, say in Argentina, after 10 or so years you literally would have 1% of the purchasing power.

Yeah, more of a store of value. And it's about the timing of getting in, we have been blessed so many times, specially for none early birds to purchase when the price is cheap at $4k during the pandemic. And it could be the same fate around November last year when the price is $15,500. So we must say that they have the same similarities now and we might not see that price range to buy in the future. So it's really up to us to take advantage when the price is very cheap as it might not present itself and that opportunity is gone for good. It doesn't mean that you will need to buy 1 BTC because for the majority of us, it's impossible. What we need to or learn is to slowly save and continue to stack sats as many as we can throughout our bitcoin journey.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: March 27, 2023, 11:32:21 PM
Ryder game was unique one compared to Bivol an Canelo.Ryder has huge support among the betting gambling player as compared to Bivol and Canelo. But with the Fortunes to Bivol against Canelo and Canelo had huge responsibility towards the game to prove his strength to his supporters.Canelo is not the potential less player, may be as compared to Ryder his strength will be low.Because Ryder experience dominates the rest of the two players in the list.Ryder was expected player to get the best results of this three list.Ryder had a chance to win the matches by declaring Knockout against the Canelo in the upcoming match.

What do you mean that he had a huge support from the betting public? Smart money will not go to John Ryder, he is not known to casual fans and to US betting public which I think the biggest supporter of Canelo. Yeah, maybe in UK he will have some support from bettors, but it will not be enough to offset to make the odds even close.

Ryder doesn't have the experience either, and some of the best fighters in his resume, Canelo already beat them.

Yes, Ryder has a chance to win, everybody does against Canelo, but I think it will be slim as he doesn't have the tools like Bivol has.

Perhaps he will bet on Ryder, we don't know. But for those who have been following Canelo's career, obviously he will be the smart bet here, but not ML. We should look for value for our money in this fight.  We can't count Ryder out, he has a chance, but it's very small. So if we know that his chances are not so good, then it will be just a waste of money to bet on him. And if we talk about Ryder experience, let's look at his resume, he lost to Callum Smith, which Canelo  beat and took Smith WBA and WBC super middleweight belt. Ryder also lost to Rocky Fielding, which Canelo destroyed in Fielding in 3 rounds with four knockdown/knockout. And so we can say that they are not on the same level as far as skills and even in experience.

1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: March 27, 2023, 11:20:29 PM
It's obvious Josh Taylor is the one who is the real upper hand in this fight and it would really be a major test for Lopez to get through this guy because this is the fighter you can't show some lazy defense because he will gonna finish you in the early rounds. My prediction here is TKO because we already know how strong Josh Taylor is in this weight division and this fight here is his message for his next opponents in the upper division it means he will go to each one of them and they gonna need to watch out. Hope that he will win easily on this one and will gonna move there fast.
Taylor is certainly the slight favorite here, and Lopez will remain the underdog. And I’m sure a lot would agree to this. Although both have almost the same boxing stat, but seeing how Taylor performs in the ring, I would say he totally got the edge over Lopez, and so Lopez should train hard in preparation for this match so he’ll be capable to beat Taylor even when most of us think that it’s quite impossible. But let’s watch and see then until we see it with our own two eyes as who will dominate inside the ring.

It is normal to see Taylor being the favorite since he is the one that has an unblemished record between the two.  Aside from that, Taylor performance on his latest fight is I think better than Teofimo's.  In their last five fights, Taylor had gained and defended his title while Lopez lost his World Championship belt to Kambosos and not be able to get another one except the international lightweight title.  So it is reasonable to see Taylor as the favorite since Taylor had achieved more feat than Lopez in their last 5 fight.

Right, Taylor is the former unified champion here, and in doing so, beat a lot of great champions in the 140 lbs, Prograis, Ramirez. He just have to vacate the 3 belts and keep only one when he defended it against his mandatory Jack Catterall. And so we can say that he is the king of this division. On other hand, Teo Lopez is coming up in this weight class, just 2 fights if I'm not mistaken and against weaker opponents. It's that he is under the banner of Top Rank and so is Josh Taylor, so this might is easy to make. And as what we see in his last fight, we are not totally convinced that he can bring his power to the welterweight and could be just a regular boxer. So it's going to be hard for him specially against the best welterweight. Probably this fight will go to distance and Taylor might break down Lopez here.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 27, 2023, 11:13:27 PM

And even if the first negotiations of the Spence vs Crawford fell off, there are a lot of rumors right now that they are still talking though. So I'm thinking that this might be one reasons why they can't really declare this fight officially as maybe they are waiting for the negotiations and see how it goes. Just take note that this is a rumor though so don't let get ourselves excited yet.

Aren't these two boxers negotiating for eternity?  It was already many years about these rumors of Crawford and Spence negotiating their fight but still no solid result.  I wonder if they are really negotiating.  I think this rumors is spread so that people will get interested and hyped but actually there is really no talk happening. If there is a negotiation happening then at least some data will be leaked like the possible time, place or year.  But nothing was leaked.. yes?  And as far as I know Spence camp is avoiding Crawford, and other calls it politics just to cover the ducking.

Maybe both camp see that big fight like Garcia and Davis can be made if both camp will give an inch in the agreement. Oscar is in the middle of it, and we've seen him and Crawford in public a couple of months ago. So maybe if Oscar can make this fight and talk to every camp, it's possible too that Crawford can learn from Oscar or even get him as a middle man even for this one fight alone and then he can go solo if he wants. So let's see, if this fight happens to be sealed already then good, wait for the result and then hopet hat Spence vs Crawford can be made at least for this year.

I think it all goes down to the right amount for split.  If they agreed on the reward money, then the fight will be finalized.  So for the fight between Crawford and Spence to happen, someone has to sacrifice his purse.

That's why I said it's rumor for now, they almost made it when Crawford bolted out from Top Rank, but his mistakes is going directly to Al Haymon and maybe for the first time he was shock on how negotiations are done and then he exposed how it is to the public after the fall. Yeah, that's what rumors is, to spread the hype and maybe test if fans are still very much interested because for sure there is. Specially like big fights that we are seeing, Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia or even Haney vs Loma.

So for sure there is interest from us, we want to see the best fighting each other in their primes, like this two boxers. And it's for the unification, so all belts on the line. True it boils down to the money and what not, but hopefully we can still see them fight before it's too late, maybe if someone will sacrifice like Ryan Garcia did, (catch weight and rehydration clause and probably the split too.)

thanks for share and for suggestion. there is always a simple solution: never connect a wallet, or just connect a dummy one.

Yes, obviously for us even non gamblers, this is a big no-no, connecting your wallet to some random gamblers here is not a good thing. But thanks to the OP for opening a thread about this old but still very effective trick that this scammers are running in this community. And who knows, there could be newbies who might see his thread and blindly follow him in connecting their real wallet and then drain by this criminals in an instant.

Oh this is just another new trick and it's a pity that only gullible newbies can fall for this. This is why I seldom get involved in moderated post discussion and this is just another abuse of self moderated post against the good intention it holds in the forum.

It's not new though, and new probably one give away is that the thread is self moderated so that he can delete any post that will question the scammers attention or even those who post that this is not the best way and warn newbies.
1659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Another mixer with chips? on: March 27, 2023, 10:51:48 PM
Hi, guys! Is there any other mixer where I can send BTC and get another BTC with private keys with past date? For me, this was the only way I can be 100% sure those are not my coins. I see bunch of mixers claiming that I'll receive coins from other people using their pool, but how can I be sure of that? As of now I think the only way to keep my privacy is to use swap exchangers (BTC to XMR from one and then XMR to BTC from another). Thanks!

No, there is no other mixer right now with the same concept as ChipMixer, and probably this is one of the biggest reasons why they remain on top until they were seized by the authorities. I know it's hard to really know if this mixers are getting clean bitcoin as they claim and it come directly to their mining pool or any other pool for that miner. So if you really wanted to remain anonymous and private, then you have to 'trust' those current mixers that we have today, and t hat their coins are not tainted in anyway. Or if you have questions about the whole 'trust' then yeah just continue or your mixing strategy.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 27, 2023, 10:42:01 PM
Fair enough, yeah it could be big as the Ali upset on Liston that time, and it seems that's where Ali has started his trash talking though and from what I read it was like over before the actual fight because they say that Liston is really affected on what is Ali is saying on the public against him. I mean the psyche war is already won by Ali already.
Not just that he look very educated + charisma. It maybe stem from him always praising God first during his win or when he is interviewed.
It seems that the kid is God fearing and that's where he got his strength.

Also, he is the underdog which really doesn't matter to him because it comes inside the ring it should be a different story because they are both capable of knocking out each other and though Davis is the upper hand in the eyes of the boxing expert, I'm sure there will be lots of fans cheering for Garcia because he has lots of fans and supporters all around the world. That's why he really needs to practice how to successfully land his signature punch against Davis so that it will become a never-forgetting moment in boxing history.

Yeah, for sure he knows that he is a big underdog here, even before the fight, he had that idea that he will be and so he could used this to motivate him more in beating Tank and could be right there with the biggest upsets in boxing history like the Liston vs Ali in the 60's. Ryan Garcia has a lot of fans, both inside and outside of boxing, and probably Davis fans comes only from his boxing so they are casuals who love how Tank is inside and knocking people out with his power. He already developed that perfect left hook, it's just a matter of how he is going to execute it in fight now. The timing and the quickness to react will be the key for him to win because that will be his biggest weapon here, he has the height and reach advantage already.
