Im trying to understand the current ecosystem of block chains/networks and the cyrptocurrencies they support.
Obviously there is Bitcoin, and the currency it uses is bitcoins, but which other currencies or services actually use the bitcoin block chains? Nxt? Mastercoin? Color coins? Or do they have their own blockchain?
What about ripple, Bitcloud, Ethereium and the various Scyrpt based coins? Are they bascially the same concept as bitcoin but they have their own block chain/ledger and a coin associated with it?
So really, aside from the some technical tweaks, massive support from miners and the advantages of being first to market, bitcoin really isn't much different or superior to a lot of the other coins/networks/blockchians out there?
Most coins have their own blockchains but some are built on or around the BTC chain. I'd say Bitcoin is superior, and all the others are inferior or mere copies/clones with a few tiny tweaks. |

Sandler has, or at least used to have, a deal with Sony Pictures that basically permitted him to make any movie he wants with very little studio interference. Ever since then, the "quality" of his work has gone down.
I still love a bunch of Sandler's older comedies. I even enjoyed Grown Ups for the most part. But Jack & Jill and Grown Ups 2? Those were absolutely unwatchable pieces of shit.
Agreed on Sandler. Little Nicky, Happy Gilmore, Waterboy; all great films. Now he just churns out shit. I loved pretty much all the films he did in the early 90s and quite a few from the early 2000s, but pretty much his last ten films have all been terrible. |

I would ignore hype, especially when it comes from trollboxes (clues in the name). yesterday it was the same with moon. this time i dont make the mistake and listen to the trollboxes. The people in trollboxes are just trying to hype up the coin they want to dump. Nothing more. |

Just curious, what does it take to go from Newbie to Jr Member status? Is it measured on your number of posts or hours logged in the forum? I like this forum, there are some pretty smart people and lots of good advice, I don't post much so just don't want to be a newbie forever since I don't make that many posts..

Really? Who will pay for the poor when they can't afford healthcare of insurance? Will you feed/home/clothe/help them?
And you'll only go to prison if you owe money in taxes. Simple solution: don't owe any taxes. But of course, you want to pay these taxes whilst taking everything they offer and simultaneously denouncing the government and all their 'sub-par' services they offer.
I'd gladly contribute to charities which I believe make a real difference. And if those charities start fiddling their expenses or embezzling money I'd instantly switch my donations to another one. What's the choice now - wait five years for a vote, and expect that to make a difference? Seeing as I have an income, I owe money in taxes. Seeing as I need an income to live and sustain a decent standard of living, there's no choice about tax. Tax isn't voluntary. It's high for who exactly?
The middle-class majority. Poor you. Is working not voluntary either? Were you forced into a high-paying job by someone? It continually baffles me how people seem to think that they don't have a choice. You choose to work and choose to pay taxes on the money you earn, you just like to have a whine about it sat in front of your iMacs and iPhones whilst shaking your first angrily at all that tax you was (not) "forced" to pay on them. You could vote with your taxes. Stop paying their wages, but of course people don't want to do this as they don't want the possible discomfort because you want your cushy little life and lots of money and nice things. I don't think you can have it both ways. |

I've wanted to help a few people on this forum with my technical knowledge since I'm a web developer and have been studying bitcoin for some time now, but I dont know what I have to do to no longer be considered a 'newbie'...
you need to make 10 posts at newbie section. Try to help some1 here. As you'll get 10 posts you'll be able to post elcewhere No you don't. You can post everywhere now and the previous restrictions were only 1 posts and a four hour wait. |
