1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 11:29:59 AM

Such topic keeps coming back in the forum that I'm almost convince there really is a threat to bitcoin. If these quantum computer can hack Bitcoin wallets that means our funds will also be in dangered. This ECC being not safe according to the article which the QC can decrypt private keys is a threat but how do we believe all these considering all the fuds spread before weren't actually true.  Will multisig make us safe for now?

1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethbits Crowdsale (ICO) MORE THAN 13644 ETH RAISED ! on: October 03, 2019, 02:49:52 AM

Ummm, I thought back in 2018 that the project died. Twitter and telegram were silent. The topic on the forum is also empty, and then a new roadmap appears.
What happened, will the same old token still live and be added for exchange?

Same old token that doesn't even have a usecase in the platform. Same guys who has the scam accusation.

$0.083661 USD (43.71%)  in coinmarketcap. nice pump. The token has only few supply 1,634,691 ETBS but were very much affected, this use to be just more than $1 each. The project promise the copy-trading, is this now available in their exchange?

1783  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: October 03, 2019, 02:28:09 AM

News all over was that Hongkong residents are buying BTC!

The Chinese closed down all their cryptocurrency exchanges in 2017. However there is still a lot of person to person trading that happens in secret in cafes and bars and so on.

Until Xi Jingping came to power the Chinese were quite content, but I think he has frightened them a bit and they're slowly but surely moving their money abroad.

Xi Jinping is much more authoritarian when compare to his predecessors, such as Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin. Compared to Xi, Hu was a moderate who tried to resolve the differences with soft power. But ever since Xi came to power, China has taken a very aggressive stance. And this is visible not only in Hong Kong, but in other regions such as South China Sea as well.

But such authoritarian rulers do no good for the economy. The GDP growth rate has slowed down quite a bit ever since 2013 (when Xi was made the president) and the ongoing trade war between China and United States (which has damaged the Chinese economy considerably) can also be partially blamed on the coercive arm-twisting tactics deployed by Xi.

That's a bit exaggerated for a simple problem they are facing right now. They will come up to an agreement with Hongkong for this extraditions but XI will still be the person who will rule Hongkong, it belongs to China. They will probably industrialize the parts of hongkong for GDP growth. If the mainland will commit to aggressive stance, there will be blood on the streets and no government from the outside can intervene and none can even see it on the news. Xi is softest that he allowed all these news to be broadcasts.

1784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There Is No War Against Bitcoin! Stop The Fud! on: October 03, 2019, 01:40:56 AM
Of course there is no war but there will be a regulation that will be strict enough. The war is just within them, whether how to control and much tax they will take from bitcoin investors. You as bitcoin investor can do nothing. But these regulators aka the government will decide to create the government backed coin.

So when is this next major financial crisis will happen and should we wish this will really happen?
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you think Bitcoin is the world's most widely used cryptocurrency, you're wrong on: October 02, 2019, 07:45:58 PM
You are not holding USDT in hopes for its price to spike do you?

Of course USDT is paired to most coins we regularly trade which is why its the widely use but I personally wouldn't consider this USDT a crypto though, they were even just created by bitfinex for the trading purpose so whenever we can move out funds to USDT when btc price is about to dive.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent (BTT) coin! on: October 02, 2019, 06:40:33 PM

I hold some of these BTT but I think its price will go up after the February 11, 2025 where all airdrops are distributed. There are several intervals to the distributions, those dates will really be a good schedule if you participate in trading this token. I'm positive though that this isn't just going to be fees for file sharing, updates will come and price will moon.
1787  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Cryptocurrency at blockchain] simula ng mass adoption? on: October 02, 2019, 02:40:47 AM

Just now that I’ve give attention to this CEstate though I think nag crossed na to sa Wall ko nung mga nakaraang panahon.siguro Kailangan ko na silipin to dahil naghahanap ako ng real estate based crypto Ann pwede pag invest an.thank for this mate

1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Seeking Serious Investor on: October 02, 2019, 02:25:31 AM
As for collateral. If the investment is not paid back within 3 months of receiving it. I'll hand you over the business.

This post must have been upsetting enough. Just imagine being an investor where you hand over the project full of default loan.
What you said here is already a sign of scam that you don't even said you will try your very best to save the business with all your might. Handing over a business doesn't do anything for the returns the investors are expecting, see?   And you are about to do it again in this thread.

I don't understand what you are talking about. I have never handed over a business? My first post is a quick message. Anyone who is interest can contact me. It shows merit that they are interested. Once they contact me they will receive the details of the project. I have been able to negotiate a very low price with the exchange I am doing business with. I know some exchanges ask for 3 million to get the coin on the market. My contract does not ask for very much.

Possibly there should be regulations from the mods on this forum to patrol fake accusations with no evidence on this site. I have been in the business with bitcoins for years. I may not be as famous as many bitcoin developers and entrepreneurs but I'm stable otherwise I wouldn't still be here.

Is this post an evidence itself?

If you promise something and will end with a post like handing over the business to the investors if it fails, it means you are not sure what you are offering whether it will succeed. That is very simple understand. How is this exchange business of yours different from the previous offer you did in this thread?  Nothing because you are still seeking potential investors to fund for your business which you aren't sure whether it would succeed. And so the reason TheUltraElite gave you the negative mark for this collateral of yours.

1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is China ahead of US now in terms of digital adaptation? on: October 02, 2019, 02:16:08 AM

Of course China is far ahead, even in the current fiat economy today base on the country's wealth and how much it had grown over the years.

Chine is a confusing country with all their laws and weirdness. They were not against cryptocurrency at all. They were just against theor people using a currency that is not their own. They are communist so it does make a lot of sense. I guess if this all comes through then they are way way ahead of the USA. The USA still is messing around with silly laws on regulations(restrictions) instead of focusing on what good crypto can bring.
It is almost like the USA is fighting against itself.

That's also true after all government has to collect money from its people. Releasing their own digital currency makes it possible for them unlike taxing BTC which leaves a lot of holes to circumvent government. Chinese may not have the all the freedom in terms of this but the adoption in their country for digital currencies will advance.

1791  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: October 01, 2019, 05:28:34 PM
Getting less than $10 is somehow disappointing though. I have followed Bethash as well which for staking 10K HASH, you will be getting about 0.28EOS and all other coins as well. And true they should start a bit in their casino, Hilo is just not as attractive as we thought. DICE so far is what most are playing. Sportsbetting is great or blackjack which I sometimes play along with the marketing.

Hilo is way more attractive to me then the dice, but i guess that's a matter of taste. People tend stick to what they know especially when it comes to money.

I like Hi/Lo the most of the games available, but probably Blackjack will top Hi/Lo when it comes out.

I get to watch ALL BETS live as it happen and see most the bets are from DICE. Just today I see some users doing the baccarat too. Probably when Blackjack will be launched its going to be a different story. Since the time it got listed on 2 dex, the less bettors I see. That could mean they only buy the tokens now but not joining to mine. Its really time to make some difference by having attractive games.

1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin casino bankroll on: October 01, 2019, 04:39:40 PM
I have heard that there are a few known and trusted bitcoin casinos which offers dividends (like 5-10% per year) if you invest your BTC in their bankroll.

I've personally seen Mintdice & Rocketpot allow you to invest in the bankroll and get dividends. Assuming the house always wins, then you'll get the interest, as long as they don't run away.

If you love experimenting, you might as well tried decentralized lending with Compound, Instadapp, Syntethix and so on. They use smart contracts, and you can deposit/withdraw as you wish.

The house most of the time wins and that is why having the opportunity to be part of the house is lucrative investment. If you tend to look some projects besides what is mentioned, there is also BEThash and EOSbet where you can get daily dividends by holding the tokens they have.  Bethash also offer Bankers bull, small investment to casinos will get good rewards but this is if you trust the casinos.

There is just no information source where we can see testimonies of users who invest and get good views to what they are saying but I see bethash and EOSbet users claiming to have received amounts which also made me join.
1793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 01, 2019, 04:23:49 PM

No alibis no nothing sort of a bankrupt declaration. So at least they just decide to close and registered users know unlike the cryptopia who somehow made a buzz and then room for speculations were they got millions for the security breach. Allowed users to still trade and then announce a new management will take over but suddenly close without notice

1795  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Hodl & Win with Swym on: October 01, 2019, 02:56:59 PM

I thought it read Hold your WIN tokens with SWYM.

My thoughts were either a gambling project or a tron wallet but totally a different thing after reading tis few details.  There is no assurance for the project to even provide for the winners if those who loan just walk away. You can't force anyone who borrows money and then pay on time when you demand.
1796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum computers on: October 01, 2019, 12:56:45 PM

They claimed to have it existed already. Someone out there with amount of money they got probably have bought and tried experimenting it with blockchain or perhaps attempt to distrupt BTC or tried mining BTC using this Quantum computers. But since we haven't seen anyone sharing information about his adventure, I guess it isn't design to beat anything than just an upgrade of Windows.

1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news form North Korea on: September 30, 2019, 08:23:11 PM

Not really something you would believe, this is NORTH KOREA we are talking here. The sick Kim Jong-un there must have gone nuts if he allowed all these to happen. But if they are creating their own only which is created by their government for them to have more control over their people's wealth then it must be true.

Since the Venezuela's Petro news, there had been several countries also trying to see whether this blockchain currency will also be helpful to them. I think Venezuela's success will greatly influence more countries to follow.
1798  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Developments Can Put Bitcoin Upwards Again? on: September 30, 2019, 07:57:16 PM
Still boils down to the block halving. For now that is the only catalyst that I see that will really push the price. We don't need to inspire people to buy bitcoin. Sooner or later they will find how bitcoin is, the much touted and best speculative asset that we have right now.

Maybe we can look at LN though, if it can be adopted very quick then it could contribute to the price increase. However, it is still very slow process and it may take some time.

Yep That's what made investors madly buying BTC in 2017. There was an update about improving its privacy, I don't know if this can serve as catalyst that will pump its price but I think a lot will like it despite exchanges delisting privacy coins. We are talking BTC here so most of the time, its rare 21M supply matters already. The news that are to look up to would be from the outside its development such as adoption and perhaps the long awaited but not really exciting anymore - ETF  Grin
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus, Coinbase CEO show supports for Facebook Libra on: September 30, 2019, 07:33:37 PM
The launching of Facebook stablecoin is getting support from prominent people in the crypto space, regulators have been teaming up in order to dissect Libra for everything it’s got since it will bring an end to all traditional money which is major concerns of some countries in the European soil such as France and Germany which has vowed to block their citizenship from using if later successfully launched. Would Facebook be successful on this mission that has attracted global critics? Rest of the story can be found here: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2019/09/coinbase-ceo-show-support-facebooks-libra?utm_source=OneSignal&utm_medium=App
Wow! Prominent people against the government? Who do I think would win? but I think that it is prominent people because without Prominent people, there is no government, and government cannot fight them all because they have the money, they can only invite them for a chat and let them know the reason why they are not supporting Facebook Libra coin, which I am sure that Facebook will be doing the same too, so it seems that there is going to be a very long battle between Facebook and the government.

In the aspect of Facebook, Government of the United State will be careful in the way they also handle Facebook case because they know how much this company has generated so much for the US, and one reasons why the other countries may even be fighting Facebook is because they might feel it is a plot from the United states to use the currency in retaining world’s power.

The government will always win. Though they have money, they can't live without paying their taxes and no escape from KYC these days and facebook, may look like its not but its also controlled by the government like big brother does. The governments can use facebook to monitor people who engages in crypto.

That's really going to happen I remember the CEO of Binance giving negative comments about Libra Coin, so there's a possibility that they are not going to list Libra Coin and Coinbase is taking this opportunity by supporting Libra Coin, so expect cooperation between the two giants, it will be good for libra coin's entry.

Binance is up to make money and dominate the crypto, if they can make money out of listing listing Libra, they will do it. Its a matter of time til we see more people and countries supporting Libra and get launched.

1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [news] Binance Launches Staking Platform with Support for 8 Cryptocurrencies on: September 30, 2019, 04:44:24 PM

Different opinions in the thread is here. On the other side its an opportunity for those who likes the lend and earn but its still really not a good idea for me to keep my coins by just staking it. Since you are just simply sending your coins to an exchange, better yet just trade with USD while its in dangered being in the exchange.
