1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 22, 2023, 10:10:00 AM
Gambling doesn't give assurance but I know it was possible however if we are talking about daily, well, that is somewhat difficult, maybe trading does.
We're talking about the possibility, yes. But application and hitting it are hard. Even with that $2k starting balance, are you sure that you'll be able to prolong that or just break even? That's quite hard though.

Honestly, no matter what you gonna do, you'll never win every day. That is why don't get false hope into gambling as it was hard to make living from here and stop chasing $100 daily as it only leads you to addiction and regrets.
Thus, if you wanted to grow your $2k, never make gambling as a medium for that, better look for an investment, there is Bitcoin instead.
Right, it's not easy, and more plausible that he's going to lose his money with that goal. Aside from investments, better look at day job instead.

I have played with several dice and the majority of those have been said in here as well but for OP and everyone, maybe you may want to take time and try playing dice with Duelbits.

and just biases 'coz they are currently playing on that site.
All of us have that and there's no question about what we think is a good one and those that we think have given have the ugly experience.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 22, 2023, 01:32:45 AM
There are also people that don't take advice even if they're listening to us. The reason for that is because they think that know more and better than the person who's giving them advice about the market. No doubt that there are people that are only for the need and will approach the people they know for it. But then, we know that everything happens for a reason and when a friend is like that, fate is just trying to help us avoid these type of people.

I think that is not a reason to convince them to engage and invest in Bitcoin instead it is more of a reason to refrain ourselves from convincing them.  As you stated they think they are more knowledgeable than the person who introduced Bitcoin, advising and convincing them to invest in Bitcoin is more futile because if something wrong in the future happens with their investment, they will be blaming us even forcing us to take responsibility of their losses.  So it would be better to just let people decide for themselves whether they will invest in Bitcoin or not.  After all, it is their gain and loss and is not in any way profitable for us if they engage in Bitcoin investment.  Grin
Yes, and I don't intend to convince anyone to invest in Bitcoin. I'm done with that several years ago and it was a disappointing moment for me to get rejected when I tried to and good thing those people I talked to didn't do it because right after, the correction and bear market came. And for some that did oblige, yes, I was blamed for the sinking of the value of their portfolios. We're just done with that part, we're with them sharing thoughts and ideas but not anymore, and no need to convince them.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 21, 2023, 10:08:54 PM
Reading another post, it crossed my mind that AIs and particularly ChatGPT could potentially be trained with a large samples of games played by poker champions and then put it to auto-play with amateur on-line players. If this is successful, it could mean the end of human on-line poker playing except perhaps for the world masters and the like. Has anyone tried? Would it be possible??
I don't think so.
Every table and hand will be replaced every round and this requires decision-making. I know that AI can learn interaction and keeps on learning based on the description that I've read and from what the developer of it has said. But, chat gpt or AIs still have their limitation.
I know that this has happened with chess but it's game with patterns and strategies in poker, it is incomparable that the strategies are entirely different and the pattern may still be learned but I guess it will take a lot of time. I remember a Dota 2 star played against open AI bot and hasn't won on it and some did. Yes, it will continually going to learn but I just don't understand how it's going to be applied in playing poker. It's too complex.
1845  Economy / Economics / Re: it's so risky! on: April 21, 2023, 08:51:19 PM
I don't invest money easily in any asset because of fear of losing that money. i think of investing 80% of total savings.
80% is a lot of portion of your savings. Answer the question first if you're willing to lose that? By having that confidence that you're okay to lose that money because investing isn't guaranteed for everybody to earn.

do taking risk is important or not?
Yes, no risk - no gain.
That's why taking risk is important, it is also teaching you on how to be a better person because you'll have the guts to do the uncertain. But once you're done with it, it's almost certain that you can invest in everywhere and can calculate risk that you might take in the future.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 07:40:11 PM
Despite the lack of key players in the Los Angeles Clippers, they performed very well. Many players on the field gave their best, Norman Powell played one of his best plays ever. The Clippers would have won this game without Devin Booker's 45 points.
Had Hyland's three-pointer been on point, the game would probably have gone into overtime or we'd have watched a buzzer beater. It was a tight match
Still props to the Clippers in spite of having that handicap for this match by having a lack of key players. I'm feeling that there's so much to miss on this playoffs since many of these key players aren't part of it as of the moment due to injury matters.
But then, I think that this is also a good thing for those teams that are trying to preserve these players in the right time and when they're actually needed since it's most likely in the half of these series'.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 21, 2023, 06:39:06 PM
Only his friend alone can be blamed for the misfortune and the result of his decision. I've got those types of friends before that they've asked me what is bitcoin, stuff about it, and if it's a good investment and I'd told them everything and with a yes. But then later, it seems that they don't believe me and went to invest in altcoins, they just revealed that to me when they lost almost all of their capital to a shitcoin because they thought that I was wrong and they better. Remember that these people are just new to the market, they think that they're better than with those experiences and that's why they gather info and decide to follow their own decisions and not the good advises.
This is the reason on why i dont like on recommending or advising something when it comes to things not only on Bitcoin but also on other stuffs as well as i dont like on getting blamed when things goes shit and wrong.
Just simply tell them about that they should invest on the amount that they could afford to lose and thats all, you should really be trying out to avoid on things because there are people who are really just that good
when they need something from you but if there's none and having no use then they would be starting on having that u-turn against you which do really sucks.
There are also people that don't take advice even if they're listening to us. The reason for that is because they think that know more and better than the person who's giving them advice about the market. No doubt that there are people that are only for the need and will approach the people they know for it. 1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 20, 2023, 09:23:37 PM
Giving him knowledge about Bitcoin is also the same as directing him to a better place even though the final decision is in the hands of his friend. And since no one is held accountable when a friend loses on an investment, this is where every piece of good advice is needed before making a hasty decision. Because a wise enough decision will provide a few steps that might be better for people who are trying to invest in their life.
Only his friend alone can be blamed for the misfortune and the result of his decision. I've got those types of friends before that they've asked me what is bitcoin, stuff about it, and if it's a good investment and I'd told them everything and with a yes. By the way, Team Secret has won against Old G, and guess what? Team Secret is back to division 1.
Good to see Team Secret rise back up to D1 and unfortunately for Old G they didn't have Resolution during that series since there were rumors that he'll be standing in for OG's DM in the upcoming Berlin major after a visa issue.
There are still three days remaining for Division 2 but Team Secret only has one remaining game and still, they're already secured to the top 1 which makes them secure a slot for Division 1. We'll see how they'll be performing in Division 1 with Armel. While many want Old G to go to Division 1, it's not just yet time for them to this DPC Div 2 tour. These three times are fighting for the second/last slot for their way to Division 1.

Fixedfloat.com has that support for both coins that you're wanting to swap. So, ADA > USDT and there are three other networks that it supports for Tether.
  • USDT ERC20
  • USDT TRC20
  • USDT SOL

Hi all, can you please tell me how things stand with betting in this office? Is it safe to make a deposit here?
Yes, Duelbits is one of the most reputable casino that you can ever bet and yes, your deposits are safe in here but make sure you read the TOS.

Do they not cancel bets?
I haven't read anyone complains about this matter of canceling bets.

How do I get verified? I.e. is it verification of identity and address or can I verify for a month or more and ask for different documents, photos?
If they ask you to verify then you have to verify it as some users have been required of complying to kyc and verifying their accounts but if you're not asked, you won't have to be. But please take time to read the details about it on this section: https://duelbits.com/aml

Congratulations to your business.

I want to know bitcoin wallet that will be nice for receiving payment with bitcoin that will be safe for this business payment.
This depends on your plan, are you planning to convert them on an instant basis upon receiving those Bitcoin payments or do you just want to hold them until you can and wants directly to go with a hardware wallet or cold storage?

If you come across such customers, then I will recommend that you use Binance Pay, that is, if you have one to receive the payment.
There are also some services like https://btcpayserver.org/ and the ones offered by Bitpay. But yes, Binance is popular so Binance pay for centralized transactions.

Allegedly there is a new "322" video from Morf on Youtube and if you know what I'm talking about , you should watch both videos because they have subtitles in English and you will be amazed of what you will hear and see in those videos regarding betting in dota 2 and trows "322 and 644". Also , some big names are involved like Daxhak , entire team of Hydra , some players from Hellraisers , old Spirit , a current player from Secret team and a lot more.  Shocked
Interesting, this is a long video so I'll save this for later to watch after the current matches that are watchable now. I want to read some comments but they're all in Russian so I don't understand a thing or two with them. I have high respect for the pro-players in Dota 2 as they will never be in a competitive scene if they're not strong. But it's sad that 322 is still existing and 644? Just another level of throwing I guess since I haven't watched the video yet but just a few introductions of it. The video has got half a million views within just 2 days and I think this will reach Valve very soon.
Being not too familiar with the terms 322 and 644 in dota2 speak but from the sounds of it they are involved in possibly throwing matches for the sake of their own benefit.
So this is an ongoing investigation by the opposing teams to say this is the reason for these allegations?
If it was most recent then the main media for dota2 news hasn't have any exposure to these match fixing by these players yet.
Please keep us in the know of their progressions once valve is aware.
322 started with Solo's action, it was an action in that he was the player in that match and then bet on the other team's victory, the opponent. He was forgiven and then still in the competitive and professional scene while the rest that has been caught in this action has been banned by Valve and other big leagues. Based on the intro that I've watched, the YouTuber said it's just his opinion and not an accusation but still going to get dig into this video and will share my thoughts on it later.
By the way, Team Secret has won against Old G, and guess what? Team Secret is back to division 1. The interview with Puppey was amazing, players should learn from his perspective and just move on from his past action being the captain that has anger management as they say and he seems grown a lot and proven it based on his achievements.

1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 19, 2023, 07:21:07 PM
Owing depts is like being enslaved until you've paid off... And owing unnecessary loan can be very hard to pay off keeping you in an unhealthy financial state.
What I'm saying is never you borrow to invest ... It's unhealthy.
Credit cards are offering benefits and points and that's why people who own that like them. As long as you're a wise and disciplined spender, you'll not have any troubles with it. And I'm against with taking loans just to have an investment, it's a big no for me. You only invest with your own money and not with someone's money even if you're okay to pay with interest on it. Instead of taking a loan and paying its interest, just save a little by little and use that money as the capital you want to be so that you won't have any burden if your investment is unsuccessful.
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do bitcoins on exchanges come from ? on: April 18, 2023, 11:14:57 PM
It has become a thought that someone is holding a dirty coin, well, there's no way to know that it's become a dirty coin. What do you want? Take it directly freshly from the miners? They're ready to be sold if that's the case because I've seen people thinking of having the freshly mined bitcoins but that doesn't make sense. It's like just having the feeling of sensation that you've got it freshly mined than the one that has been in circulation since years ago, they're just both bitcoins no matter where it came from but it just so happens that these exchanges don't want them and are there really some ways of determining that based on their approach? I have no idea. Are they going to mind tracking all of the addresses where that "dirty" bitcoins came from if it's got like a thousand addresses being passed on? Bitcoin is bitcoin regardless of where it came from.

Team Liquid and GG are just destroying their opponents and I don't see anybody stopping them. Real simple to make money at this stage, play those two to win and all other games take over 2.5 maps. Worked for me just peachy so far today.

Now I am still waiting for TSM to take map 2 to casj on another one like this. Had them over 2.5 and GG -1.5 on that one. Now that I wrote this I already know OG is gonna clean sweep them  Grin
That's sweet!
Currently, OG and TSM are still playing for their last map, map 3. But if it's about map 2, you got it right that TSM took it. While these matches are happening, there are some interesting points with the Division 2 matches. On WEU, Team Secret still needs to secure at least a series maybe from IVY or even with Old G and I guess they'll be coming back to Division 1 next tour. While on EEU, too many new teams and names like NaVi Junior for which I'll review some of their matches. In China, no doubt that they've got that "Piggy Killer" team on top now and haven't lost yet since their players have been mostly came from division 1 and it seems an easy gateway for them.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 18, 2023, 11:55:20 AM
IIRC, there's this situation that has been won by someone that came from a free lottery ticket.
But then the casino was too strict that they have to set some requirements for the winner because they just can't take their word by giving a winning ticket for free.
So, they've set some wagering requirement that has to be met but I can't remember the exact amount if my memory still serves right, that wasn't really much but the lesson here is that they can do that to anyone who will win from a free ticket.
1859  Economy / Economics / Re: Bans on crypto now looks like a joke on: April 18, 2023, 10:25:08 AM
Which country between these two would you rather see welcoming crypto and fully embracing Bitcoin? China? The United States?
US for me. They're just strict but they're welcoming crypto adoption, unlike China, despite all of those announcements, they're likely cracking down places there that have been involved in any crypto-related activities like mining plus the fact that their government type isn't really friendly at all.

I read an article that says that upon the ban of Cryptocurrencies in China over 30 million Chinese are using Crypto in the country.
And that's good because their banks are also controlled by them so citizens that are wise understand that they shouldn't allow the banks to hold their money which is controlled by the government of China.

At this point in Bitcoin and crypto life, Ban is no more an issue it seems, what do you think about this? It's like saying a country ban VPNs where as you can bypass any country's FireWall.
Well, we've been used to seeing this news, and even if they ban it. As you've said, there will be a lot of ways to hide it from the authorities.

Banning crypto is no more effective on crypto itself, it's now more like a pure joke, I would still like to see the U.S embrace crypto more than China, just my own answer to my question, what about you?
The same as you, they're strict and like more regulations but much better than the latter.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 17, 2023, 01:11:40 PM
Both are skill based yet former is considered sheer gambling while later is not. Fantasy sports has become norm, while on the other hand if people come to know that you bet on sports you'll be met with eyebrow raise.

^ that's my opinion. What's yours? Do you consider both of them same or different?
The concept is the same but sports betting is real while fantasy sports are just virtual and computer-based type. I don't consider them to be the same as they're entirely different. What I am saying is the concept is the same you get to bet on certain sports but the actual players are different. But whichever makes you win the most, get to stay there and keep on winning until you ran out of luck. The most important part here is we get to enjoy and also win at the same time. Don't think of others' preferences but put the center of your attraction where you're enjoying and like the most.
