The states of the Union have seceded. A powerful leader decided that he does not want a nation divided so he is attacking the sovereign states to bring them back into the union.

Thousands of lives will be lost, freedoms will be put on hold (suspending habeas corpus, martial law, etc..) but in the end, the union will be back together...which is all that matters...right?

In the mind of leaders, there is always a financial aspect to war.

Do you really think, the US cares about the Ukrainian people on the other side of the world or about freedom ?  Grin  Seriously none of this leaders give a fuck, its about money.

past. after all these years you still can't do much with bitcoins, and with all the scams and up and downs, i doubt that there are many non-bitcoiners left that will buy the fairy tale of "everybody getting rich". too many got burned. maybe, with some major events that make nice news stories it's good for another pump, but it will proceed to fail horribly in making itself useful in a normal person's daily life.

you think the people in dubai are crazy to buy 400 bitcoin atms?  Smiley

Why didn't the federal government give bailout money to home owners instead of the banks?

You need a big campaign in order to become president. This money needs to come from somewhere (banks, companies etc).
We are not living in a democracy  Smiley

Based on yours... I should never ever think at this kind of project because no one will deposit 1$ so I can earn their trust.

I had this problem when trying to start a lottery site, didnt work out for me.  I think what you want is a timed payout. If the people know, the lottery payout will be held say 1 hour from now, they may be more likely to deposit.
If i knew I could win in 1 hour, perhaps i would deposit  Smiley
1906  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Free Bitcoins - win up to 0,4 btc each hour. No charge. on: April 21, 2014, 10:37:16 PM
1 in 10.000 rolls, a chance of 0.0001. Its a very low chance to win 0.4 btc
Most of the time you will win 0.00000402 btc  ( 9885/10000 = 0.9885 ) chance.
It will take you many many hours until the cashout..

Their random number generation is somewhat predictable.
So about the gambling system:
I had an idea for an algorithm in which you remember the 3 outcomes of the last 3 throws.
Like this (where L is low, H is high):

  • LLL
  • LLH
  • LHL
  • LHH
  • HLL
  • HLH
  • HHL
  • HHH

If i am not mistaken, it would follow the normal distribution on a 50% chance if not manipulated.

and so LLL and HHH would be least probable.  Thus if you saw HH its big chance it will be L next.
Of course, there have to be enough throws.  The idea is to put low amounts on the chances that are very uncertain,
and higher on amounts on that are more certain.

Of course this is a probabilistic algorithm. I got up to 40000 satoshi in this game with it by hand (starting from 370),  but too few time to do all of it by hand.  Perhaps the phptask guys can implement this algorithm (or an improved version) -  I havent time to program it Smiley

If China has embraced BTC but "doesn't totally condone it" (they have atm but they don't want the banks to support it?Huh? - (communist yet collateralising), well that's their politics - Chinese will trade this offshore - and are already doing it!
China is not communist any more. Not for a long time. They had reformations many years ago.
That is not to say they are a democracy, but neither is the US nor Saudi Arabia.

Come to find out we're just slaves. The State's argument is "Pay up or get thrown in a cage", and most people respond to the threat with obedience.

Then compile it.

We have seen a big inflation of the US Dollar recently.
When will the US dollar be worth 0.0000001 B or less?
