2041  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - 2 s9's Batch 10 11.85TH/s on: November 11, 2016, 06:15:36 PM
Sounds good to me. I've had an S7 shipped over by philipma1957 with a declared value less and it saved me a ton on tax. The shipping was tracked too. So now just begs he question how much are you after for one of them? Could we use escrow?

You have a PM
2043  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - 2 s9's Batch 10 11.85TH/s on: November 11, 2016, 05:23:57 PM
Im after a 11.85Th with the "good" firmware that hasn't been overclocked (need it to last). Whats the shipping cost to the UK and can you put a lesser value on the customs info?
2044  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 11, 2016, 05:13:34 PM
Ive got three gecko usb sticks that consistently pop up with 18Ghs (set to 12ghs) but they don't reach it regularly, infact they often drop to 8-9Ghs (even though still set to 12Ghs). That's why you have an average hashrate (which is the only one you should be worried about). The next 5 min hashrate could only be 10Ths on your machine so it evens out.
2045  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: November 11, 2016, 06:30:01 AM
For the time being my 65GH pointed here ain't going nowhere tho, haha.

Who knows, sometimes some of the smallest miners would win when we had mint races Tongue

You still have no clue. I warned you 20 months ago that your pool was dying. I offered to donate money and gave you some NMC. You started a new forum and hide all the old post.
Nice to see you fail.
Why is it you you don't care? I feel bad for the people that have drank your kool-aid.
why don't you just close the pool?
Last time i offered to send you BTC you changed the forum so no one would see the posts?
   GO MINE @ Kano pool

Who stole the jam out of your donut?   Cheesy

What has the Dr got to gain by NOT configuring the pool properly or by hiding your posts? He's doing this for the community so we have options on who to mine with. It would be a very boring and unprofitable world (for smaller miners) if everyone went on Kano.

The fact that he didn't accept any btc from you speaks volumes as why would someone put themselves into debt with a person like you when there is no need to. Dr can't magic a block out of thin air it's all to do with luck, Kano has 30x more hashpower than here so 30x more chances or hitting a block. But you get smaller rewards for it.  The stupid thing is people leaving reduces our chances.

Anyway I've had my early morning rant now. I've been mining here since I started with a couple of USB sticks and the Bitminter Client almost a year ago and I won't be going anywhere.

NOW LETS GET THAT DAMN BLOCK SOLVED!!!! I'll even wear some green clothes today lol
2046  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Second Antminer Not Connecting BOUNTY FOR HELP on: November 10, 2016, 08:02:01 PM
Thanks, that's very kind of you, but if they go up to $5000 each, they're still yours   Grin

Ill hold you to that Wink  Cheesy

Don't worry that's what the forum is here for. Hope it works out and stays working for you Smiley
2048  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Second Antminer Not Connecting BOUNTY FOR HELP on: November 10, 2016, 07:11:29 PM
If you reset the S3 with the reset button on the front it may well have gone back to the default IP of 192.168.1.99.

Download an IP Scanner to search your network for it. From what I remember it will show as "paragon technologies" or you will see an unusual IP address that it's the your laptop/PC or router.

Well I thought it was time to register and say hello rather than banging my head on the wall watching the block.

I'm sticking with the pool regardless as it's always done me right and in the process of changing all the old SP35s over to the S9s so I should kick in around 2000 TH/s in the next month or so depending on when the batch is delivered to Iceland.

Hope everyone else sticks with it for as long as they can.

Cheers

Well it's nice to finally see an elusive bitminter member Smiley

We will do it soon I can feel it in my creaky old bones.
2051  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [W]0.2btc [H]Paypal Trusted members only on: November 10, 2016, 01:53:06 PM
If you ready to send me 157$ in my paypal I can do this almost instant  escrow willcome but only this forum and must be trusted you receive .2 BTC according for current rate 143$ WORth of BTC

I'm afraid your trust rating isn't high enough for me to send first. If you're happy to send first then send the 0.2btc to the address in my signature and I will send the PayPal over (as friends and family).

Yea FedEx and thinker are still here, 5th 6th and chi264 have gone though.

2053  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [W]0.2btc [H]Paypal Trusted members only on: November 09, 2016, 05:10:52 PM
hi you buy Small quantity I need to make a purchase on eBay

If you want to send the btc first then yes a small trade would be ok. PM me the amount of btc and I'll send the PayPal across at preev rate to the PayPal address and currency you want it in. BTC would need to be sent to the address in my profile (in my signature on my posts).
2054  Economy / Currency exchange / [W]0.2btc [H]Paypal Trusted members only. Small trades welcome on: November 09, 2016, 06:37:46 AM
I'm after 0.2btc via PayPal. It will be sent as a gift/family and friends unless requested otherwise. I will only deal with trusted members who I deem suitable for this kind of trade. If you have little or no trust you will send first.

For all the people trying to get post counts up on farmed accounts please don't post your comments about how PayPal is reversible etc as I have been here for quite a while and have traded in this way many times. Please check my feedback if you need too.
2055  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: November 08, 2016, 10:10:27 PM
Well I never thought I would see the pool this low, but still I bet there a block on the horizon soon. I can feel it  Grin

COME ON BLOCK!!!!!!!
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GUI MINER Cant find my CPU? on: November 08, 2016, 10:09:13 PM
If youre mining bitcoins with your gpu and cpu you will most likely burn your computer out before you earn enough bitcoin to pay for it. The age of bitcoin mining with computers is dead. You need to buy ASIC's which sole purpose is to mine bitcoins.
2057  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB S9 11.85Th. shipping to UK. on: November 08, 2016, 05:41:54 PM

Im after an S9 11.85Th version (not sure what batch it is) with original firmware (not the auto tune crap).

Thanks.

ANNNDD the R4 is now sold out,

don't know why everyone is rushing, I am waiting for Monday to buy the Avalon!

The R4 has been sold out since they first launched it. They haven't released any subsequent batches yet, only S9's have had more released Wink

Have they really only released one batch? and my bad sorry  Shocked

Yea, just the one. I emailed a little while ago asking if they had more in the pipeline but got a vague message saying that they were in demand and some other stuff which didn't really relate to the question I asked. But anyway that's a discussion for the R4 thread Wink.
2059  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 08, 2016, 05:28:59 PM
Lower the freq it mines at and see if it comes back. These are old machines now so more than likely that chip wont come back but its worth lowering the mining freq just to try it out.

chip is on "o" every time i reboot the machine, let me try lower the freq to see if that work, thanks for fast reply.

It will show the "o" to start with usually but then after a little while it will drop out to an "x". Lowering the freq will draw less voltage so it might last longer before dropping out or stay good permenantly. One chip wont affect the overall hashrate though so don't panic Wink

Chip fails again, well..i will follow your advice, and stay cool with that, really thanks for fast reply bro!

No problem. Hopefully you find a sweet spot on the freq and it stays good.
