Exactly. I got long in bitcoinica with 5:1 leverage at $2.06. When I tried to withdraw my winnings this week they didn't have enough money in Mt. Gox to cover it, so I had to exchange them for bicoins and take the bitcoins. So I'm still long, just at the 1:1 ratio now  Must've made a shitload there... |

I've been watching the ask depth to $6. It started out at a huge number (>50k BTC) earlier today. By the time the spike happened, this had been reduced to 23k. A few hours ago, I checked again and it was 15k. Now it's 12658 BTC. it's 12418 BTC! Shrinking! We're slowly making progress! Maybe today, maybe tomorrow, but I think we shall reach $6 soon. Watch out for a familiar double ramp |

2 things for your charts which i like better on mtgoxlive:
1. once again, total USD's to reach a certain price
2. the flashing of the trades going off in the top right of the chart.
+1. You need a USD scale and when you hover over some price, you need the BTC and USD needed to get there. Flashing trades would also be nice. However, I'm looking forward to your historical depth because that will be the most interesting feature. |

I don't see any message that says that I can lend an amount on the website.
Or do I have to transfer some Bitcoins first?

There is now less than 20k BTC to $6. Prepare for a double ramp culminating in $6 tomorrow. I don't say this with absolute certainty, but it is a significant possibility.

Man what? There's like 50k of visible market depth to get to 6$/coin - and that's assuming that more depth won't materialize out of hidden reserves when it starts.

You are entirely mistaken. There is <25k BTC of visible market depth. There used to be <25k BTC to $5, but a formidable wall, during the last spike. ....really? Huh. See, I usually watch bitcoincharts and they're still showing this depth graph:  No wonder I was confused! See, we've moved several tens of thousands of BTC on the depth chart since this morning already! Who knows how much farther we can go |
