2141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2020, 06:02:24 PM
There are some treats to BTC. Among them, one can be dangerous for BTC at any time. Permission of government of many countries can be count as a treat, hackers can damage the whole system that is a treat, being strong of others currency can be treated, this is some treats that are visible and there are some other issues to be a treat.
The authorities or the government are the only threats of bitcoin because they can simply say bitcoin is illegal and restrict the used of bitcoin, even it is decentralized. But I think it would be unlikely to happen because the government in other countries have started to recognize bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a beneficial and good investment. I also think it would take long for hackers to damage the whole system because they need to hack it's whole large network based on blockchain technology that a single hacker can't hack it alone.
2142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web wallet better than mobile wallet on: December 03, 2020, 05:08:37 PM
A web wallet is one such wallet. You do not need to use any additional applications to save it. It is much safer. In my opinion, web wallet is much better than mobile wallet. Using it does not require a separate space. Hopefully the wallet will expand further in the future.
I think both web wallet and mobile wallets can be hacked and not safe for any unathorized access because there are no such perfect technology when it comes to security, that is why no system is safe for great hackers who can easily steal your information and funds. But I suggest mobile wallet is more accessible than web wallet because using applications is much convenient than opening your browsers to access your wallet.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: France's gambling recovers on: December 03, 2020, 01:25:49 PM
Gambling in other countries like France will definitely recover because many public places are now starting to re-open their business to get back all of their losses during the community quarantine lockdowns. I think other gamblers' gambling activity has been active, even during the pandemic, because there are still online gambling sites that they could still play and continue their gambling habit.
2144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do we see the price of bitcoin after 3 decades on: December 02, 2020, 04:28:23 PM
I think it would be difficult to conclude the price of bitcoin after 3 decades from now because the bitcoin's price has always been unpredictable due to its volatility. But I think bitcoin's price will obviously be higher than its ATH today because the mass adoption would much be greater, which means the governments might be accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies or adopting its technology in the future.
2145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: December 02, 2020, 03:54:20 PM
Don't invest in a project that has no use for you. If your only intention is to gain money, you are doing it wrong. Invest in a coin you are knowledgeable enough, it takes a lot research to be able to find a good project. Most coins that are newly introduced are actually not essential anymore, there are lot more established coin that are way better which can also serve its purpose the way new project are doing.
Indeed. Always DYOR never trusts things or anyone else that you aren't sure it would be profitable or a promising project without doing enough research. Safe investment does not exist because investing your money can be always be involved in risk, especially if you tried to risk your money in projects that are not promising enough, so it would only lead you to huge losses or no large gains.
2146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding or Scalping ? what do you chose on: December 02, 2020, 03:19:38 PM
HOLD is my main tactic. And so far, it works and makes a profit.
Holding are coins and believing that the coin that we invested will be profitable one day is a good strategy, especially if you are holding top coins in the market like bitcoin because it is profitable and will continuously increase its value in the future. But scalping can also be profitable even you only gain a small profit because it could still turn into large gains when you accumulate all those small profits.
2147  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bangladesh going to accept Cryptocurrency??? on: December 02, 2020, 02:57:00 PM
Bangladesh is known as one of the resourceful third worlds countries of the world. But their economy is very poor and maximum people are living below the poverty line. Though their GDP growth is very well and it's increasing day by day.
When big exchanges are coming to push cryptocurrency there so another good news that is not so far. The scenario can be different as we think but we can hope for the best.
If its true - good for Bangladesh.
As far as I know pro crypto regulations positively affected Portugal economy for last half a year or so.

Crypto can help many countries only if they allow it, so if Bangladesh goes to accept cryptocurrency then this will be good for them. Third world country should not be left behind, I'm living on a third world country and I'm proud that we are slowly adopting cryptocurrency and even our own government approved many crypto companies operating in our country, I also wish for the best for Bangladesh people, its not too late to adopt.
Indeed. Cryptocurrency, being accepted in third-world countries like Bangladesh, is a great opportunity for people who wants to generate future income because they wish to have a good future. So if other countries would also follow Bangladesh in their country, it could help solve their country's economic problem, such as reducing unemployment.
2148  Economy / Speculation / Re: December for moon on: December 02, 2020, 02:32:54 PM
From the past records of the bull run season, December period has always been a mooning season where almost all coins gain new ATH. This was exactly what happen during the 2017 bull run. We can say that this is a Characteristic of bull signal. One thing to note for everyone is not be carried away because at the tail end of this moon season there is usually a flash dip. Let's be wise, enjoy the ride and take profit. If otherwise happens such that December happens to be a dip season, then the bull run we are waiting for is yet to come.

Let this be a bull run litmus test.

Share your opinions!
I don't think December was not always been a mooning season that it only happens in the last year of 2017, but I see that this year of 2020, the price of bitcoin will be the same as 2017 because bitcoin has already reached its ATH price in some exchanges like Binance. So I assume the bull run would continue until the Q1 of 2021.
2149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Income from Bitcoin investment on: December 01, 2020, 01:10:59 PM
There is no safe way to generate income in a bitcoin investment because investing in cryptocurrencies is truly a risk due to it's volatility that you can't stop it from having losses when the price suddenly goes down. Still, you can make yourself generate considerable amount of profits when you have a good investment strategy other than holding your bitcoins in a long-term.
2150  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: December 01, 2020, 07:37:14 AM
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: December 01, 2020, 07:11:39 AM
when we talk about only Ethereum as a coin it is not dying, it is following Bitcoin .Now it is trading above 600$ and moving towards about its ATH. yes if we talk about Ethereum network it is paining us with its Gas fee, slow transaction ,transaction failure. If eth overcome all these things then it is always number 2.

IMO ETH 2.0 will overcome all of that problem, but maybe the price will drop after that. Because so many eth staked and Nobody want to make the price higher since no miner reward, dont know, just my opinions
The developers have promised that the upcoming ETH 2.0 will definitely overcome all of the problems and issues to its network, such as high gas fees. Also, Ethereum is one of the top coins in the crypto market next to bitcoin; that is why Ethereum will not die because many projects are using its platform to run and create decentralized applications and enable smart contracts.
2152  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin retirement account on: December 01, 2020, 06:29:34 AM
Bitcoin is doing great today, but there's no guarantee that Bitcoin will still valuable in the future so I don't want to agree on this one and if its about the retirement plan, it should be more secured with a sure profit of course. Companies should implement this one only to those who are willing and those who know Bitcoin or how to use Bitcoin because if not, then this is useless and old people might see this one as complicated.
I think bitcoin will still be valuable in the future because the mass adoption has already started, that cryptocurrencies are now accepted and used by large companies and in public, so considering bitcoin as a retirement account can be fine. Still, there is no guarantee you will have high returns in the future due to its volatility because bitcoin investment is still risky even it has a good value.
2153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: December 01, 2020, 06:05:37 AM
From my perspective, the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is the transfer speed and high transaction fees because many bitcoin users are having trouble making transactions with this kind of issue. Many people hate the bitcoin volatility, but for me, bitcoin's volatility can both be a good and bad thing for our investment; it only depends on us on how we will handle our investment.
2154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the biggest issue for beginners ? on: November 30, 2020, 09:56:42 AM
The biggest problem that I experienced when I was a beginner in the crypto and blockchain space is that I don't know where to start investing my money and start earning cryptocurrencies because I know that cryptocurrency is full of scams and frauds. That is why it's a good choice that I knew about this forum because it helps me decide where I should invest my money and do other stuff to earn cryptocurrencies, such as participating in airdrops bounty and signature campaigns.
2155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: November 30, 2020, 08:23:52 AM
The best trading tip that has worked with me so far is that I should be realistic about profits because every strategy that I make in trading doesn't always work or profitable; that is why I should be contented if I only make 25% or 50% of my trades. And if I lose profit, I should be able to control my emotions and try to get back all of my losses when the price increases again.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: November 30, 2020, 07:56:59 AM
I ended up selling all my mining rigs to to advantage of this altcoin season, some could say it's a stupid move but I did this because it's the best option right now, the profits I'm making from my miners are not that much anymore, it's more like my setups can't keep up anymore, instead of investing on new miners i decide to buy top altcoins like Ethereum, LTC, XRP, BNB, Chainlink among the rest

If you have some old rigs or about to go obsolete setups I suggest you do the same before altcoins reach a new all time high

altcoin season won't last forever but I can make ROI faster than waiting for months or even years to recover my invested money on miners and electricity

I think you definitely made the right choice to sell all of your mining rigs if you think you are not making enough money because you also need to pay the maintenance cost and electricity bill you used in your mining rig. Reinvesting the money you used to sell your mining rigs to buy top altcoins like ETH, LTC, XRP, BNB, and other top cryptocurrencies in the market a good choice because you can be able to double your profit, especially during the bull run.
2157  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: November 30, 2020, 06:49:14 AM
Taking loans to invest in bitcoin is a bad idea because there is no guarantee you will get a profit in bitcoin when you start to invest your money in it. Taking loans will only make you suffer from huge debts if you don't get profits in your investment, especially when bitcoin suddenly goes down; that is why it's much better if you try to invest your money in bitcoin.
2159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 20k $ in 2021? on: November 29, 2020, 11:01:11 AM
Exactly because people are focusing too much on "$20k" we are not going to surpass it that easily. It is 2017 all over again with $1200. I expected the price to get close then come down like this and I expect more volatility from $19k to $21k for a couple of months (meaning we can go to $21k and then come back to $19k) then go up in $20k+ range and never come back down again by which time the bigger rallies will start (again similar to 2017).
Bitcoin will definitely repeatedly go up and down over and over again, just like what happened in the year 2017 due to its volatility. But I still think that bitcoin's price will reach its $20,000 price again next year 2021 because it already hits the $19,000 mark, then it suddenly goes down below $17,000, and now it started to go back up again. It is why it is riskier if you try to buy bitcoin when bitcoin's price is in the range of $17,500+ because the bitcoin's price is not stable that there is a chance that bitcoin will continuously go down.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 29, 2020, 08:30:29 AM
Most countries, not only Argentina, are raising their taxes that every country worldwide is also raising their taxes to dampen economic growth and inflation pressure. It is why the government in Argentina has started to raise gambling taxes because they could collect nearly billions of dollars in revenue in gambling instead of accumulating taxes on goods and other important products.
