2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano(ADA) get to $3 by End of Q1 on: December 27, 2018, 10:35:35 AM
Cardano might not reach anywhere near $3 by the end of Q1, but I've got a feeling that it'll eventually reach that value in upcoming years.

Cardano is a big hype..
Went from ath $1,18 to $0,04..
Lost around %97 of his value..
Ethereum killer slogan was a marketing strategy to pump the price.. Charles Hoskinson is a good talker, but he is not a good developer and has not the vision to make Cardano top10 coin.. Only reason why this coin is still in the top20 is because of the circulation supply.. And most investors are locked with there investment they didnt cut there loss and waiting for some pump to dump there bags and get out of it..

Charles Hoskinson was one of the thousand developers of Ethereum, but he acts like he was the brain behind Ethereum together with Vitalik.. He has maybe 10% of the developing skills of Vitalik..

Please!

1. Cardano is still in the top 10 if you don't consider Tether to be one of the coins.

2. In the top 20 because of circulation supply? Really? Can you explain a bit more?

3. "Charles Hoskinson was one of the thousand developers of Ethereum"... Huh? Vitalik developed the whitepaper - almost all of the remaining work was done by Charles! Roll Eyes

An interesting test series between South Africa and Pakistan began today at Centurion. Today was the first day of the first test match, and literally, I've seen such an awful pitch condition after quite a while, it's way too much bouncy! Pakistan got all-out on 181 runs (thanks to Babar Azam, Pakistan managed to make this much, otherwise at one point it looked like they'll be getting all-out within 120 runs), and South African batting isn't looking good either. Currently, they're 5 wickets down on just 127 runs. IMO, this 5-day-match is going to end up within 3 days.

We watch some extra ordinary spells from good bowlers in New Zealand and South Africa first oliver done great job for his team and take 6 wickets which packed Pakistan 181 for all out now just few minutes ago Boult done same great job for New Zealand and packed Sri Lanka for just 104 these both tests going to end in just 3 days because both pitches favoring fast bowlers.

Same feeling here; we're witnessing some really bouncy pitches these days!

Without reading up further notice but still making deposits even the wallet is on maintenance and now they blame the exchange?  Huh

They mostly do it to earn some profits from an "arbitrage" opportunity. They:

-buy cheaper at X exchange to sell for more at Y exchange (seeing buy orders of better values at that Y exchange)
-then realize that the coin isn't even available for withdrawal through X exchange
-finally, bash that X exchange and eventually sell it back for an even cheaper price; they ultimately get into a little loss instead of a little profit.

I think you should make it a bit more clear; I've a feeling that you will reach $3778.02 target AT LEAST ONCE within the time span of 362 days, but will it stay more than that after an exact 362 days? I doubt that. Bull runs come and go, they don't stay forever.

So, will this challenge end right after you reach your target or will it continue till the end of all 362 days?

2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 24, 2018, 10:17:42 PM
Are you serious? why at that time did you not cut loss and prefer to keep hodl them? you should it not take this decision because sometimes hodl isn't the best solution. Because the value of your investment has dropped by almost 95% it seems very difficult to recover, unless you have a reserve fund to increase the number of portfolio. But this still does not guarantee that your capital will return fully.
If he didn't serious, do you think he will create this thread?
Also, down from 60k to 5k isn't almost 95%, actually it's still ~92%.

@Op, can you tell us which coin / token you HOLD atm? So we can give our opinion whether it could be back or not to the price you have bought

Most of the portfolio is down by 90% in dollar amount. I Bought BTC,ETH, LTC, WAN, ZIL, BLZ, NAS, DRGN, AION, NEBL, NANO, STRAT, ELF, ENG and UTK  Angry

At this point, DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) is the only thing that can help you. My personal suggestion for you would be to somehow manage some more investment. You see:

-You bought 1 bitcoin at $19,000
-You bought 1 more bitcoin at $4000

Then you only need bitcoin to ((19000+4000)/2) cross $11500 for you to break-even, instead of hefty $19000/bitcoin.

Bangladesh won the toss and took bowling, as they know that West Indies are good at chasing and Bangladesh have a good bowling. AFter a good start West Indies started to give wickets but the Run Rate is good if they are able to score above 200+ will be good but they have to bowl well and if they take early wickets then they have chances of winning the T20 and T20 series also.
But Bangladesh lost today's match and the series too.West Indies again proved their dominance in T20 format by beating the hosts by walloping 50 runs margin. It is a big win for West Indies and I guess this may motivate them morally to perform well in other formats too. A must mention : KMA Paul's contrinution to today's match. He took 5 wickets in four over by leaking only 15 runs. Hope he may find spots in other formats and in IPL too.

Bengalis' experience isn't paying off at all; with years of experience, players like Tamim Iqbal, Shakib ul Hassan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah are still unable to deliver anything at all.

I seriously think the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) should start working on youngsters, instead of hoping for good performances by the seniors, this ain't working good for a while!

TuxExchange and ByBit have been added to the comparison. Smiley

I don’t think you need to have any bitcoin on an exchange at this part of the market cycle. Now is the time to buy, not sell.

True. This isn't the time to even trade your bitcoin. Accumulation & accumulation, that's what should be done these days IMO. The most you could do at this point is to accumulate some alts along with bitcoin and expect (& hope for) further gains & multiplication of *BTC* through those alts.
