Shams is reporting that Buddy Hield and the Pacers weren’t able to come to terms on contract negotiations and will now be discussing trade options. I hope the Lakers can get him somehow. Hield is the shooter that LeBron has been needing. He was never happy on the Pacers so this comes as no surprise. I just wish they’d traded him to the Lakers before the Westbrook disaster.

Dame is getting lit up on social media today after claiming he wouldn’t do what KD did while he’s literally trying to do the exact same thing KD did. Lol, it's not only Dame, least we forget Giannis as well told when he won a ring with the Bucks that he won't do a KD, but look at what he is hinting, he says that he is a champion and wanted to go out in winning and most likely if he doesn't win in Bucks uniform he might join another team. And so far we have heard like the Warriors, but it's early to say. I guess it's going to be the norm for this NBA superstars, that one day, they will have to form super teams in order to not just win one ring. By the time giannis is a free agent golden state will have aged out of theor window and a team like okc might be coming into the window. Making speculations today when he is still on contract for years with the Bucks doesn't make sense nor is any of it accurate. Super teams are the worst. Miss the 80s and 90s where teams hated each other. I don’t know. Draymond will be too old for sure, but I see a scenario where Draymond leaves and is replaced with Giannis. I think Steph and Klay can play their roles for a few more years. The Knicks think they’re going to trade for Giannis. If that isn’t a sign and trade then they’ll be mortgaging their future for one season with Giannis. Sounds like a Knicks thing to do. |

I disagree with your outcome here. While you can certainly make a case for Bitcoin displaying the greater fool theory, there is most certainly still uses that Bitcoin remains the best at. I don’t think it is without real demand just because you don’t understand why people want to use it. I often do worry about it turning into the definition of the greater fool theory, but I don’t believe that is the case yet.

I try to drink a lot of water. I don’t drink soft drinks or alcohol very often. First thing I do when I wake up and the last thing I do before bed is drink water. I also have water delivered to my house to make sure I’m getting the best water I can. I think water and oxygen are important so I also have always had an air purifier in my house.

This seems like a sexist post to be honest. I don’t think that women have separate driving forces than men when it comes to gambling. In fact, I know more women than men that frequent casinos. I think it has less to do with gender and more to do with when they have available free time and what they enjoy.

I don’t think you can be depressed about having a lot of BTC traveled through your wallet. It’s pretty cool to say you have transacted in X amount of Bitcoin which today might be a small fortune. I think at one point my wallet showed over a billion dollars in total volume. While that may not exactly be true, it’s still more cool than regretful.

I sort of don’t think he will accept Bitcoin. Not because he doesn’t want to but because I think the Tesla board won’t be happy about it. I am holding out hope though that as a gimmick when releasing the Cybertruck, he will accept BTC for purchases of it. Given how futuristic the Cybertruck is, I think it would be a perfect match.

What? Are you serious right now? You can't compare Dame to KD, not even close. KD went from a contender and western finals participant to the best team in the league. He had a team around him that had a future and still chose to go to the team with the best record in history. Dame on the other hand didn't reach the playoffs back to back, has no contending team and Portland also has no idea what they want to do. Of course he wants out after sticking with this shit show for 11 years. From somebody who often comments here I wouldn't have expected such a nonsense, seriously.  KD joined a team that lost in the Finals the year before. Dame wants to join a team that lost in the Finals a year before. It isn’t a nonsense comment, it’s a fact. Dame really shouldn’t have anything negative to say about KD. Especially since Kevin Durant accomplished more in OKC than Dame ever did in Portland. |

I would disagree respectfully. I don’t see a new all time high being broken before the halving and possibly not even in 2024. Sure, a lot depends on if mtgox is ever going to distribute their BTC and if a spot ETF is approved, but I’d point to the past as a guide for the future. If we see a new all time high before the halving, that would signal to me that the ultimate peak for this cycle could be over half a million dollars.

I’ve never really paid any attention to Bitcoin’s dominance in relation to the price cycle so I’m not sure if this is relevant or not with regards to foretelling price movements. It does feel a little bit like people are waking up to shitcoins and becoming Bitcoiners more this cycle than the previous thought. At least from my perspective.

I’m always amazed when these giant accidental transaction fees get returned by the miners that receive them. I’m not sure if I would be able to return half a million dollars from a block I fairly mined, but I’d like to think I would. Kudos regardless to all of the mining pools that do return these fees. It shows that they aren’t all about money.

You make a good point and surely the Bitcoin community would be better off if there were more vendors that accepted BTC as payment for goods (I do). I believe this is one of the reasons Bitcoin was pivoted to being a store of value instead of p2p currency. It’s unfortunately more beneficial to hold than spend, but without banks to convert to cash it would be somewhat useless for that purpose. Hence, digital gold is much less decentralized than a p2p currency.

Feels like the worst of this market correction is behind us and the price of Bitcoin is once again creeping up. I wouldn’t want to be leveraged short or long right now, as either is likely to get you liquidated, but I sure wouldn’t want to be on the sidelines either. The rocket ship is letting passengers board. The liftoff to the moon will begin soon.
