Now we are envious, we (bitcointalkers) want a giveaway on here as well  Cool Cool

Joking but not so much on this  Cheesy

I want to request this as well. I'm not even signed up to the other forums, which leaves me out. Considering how active the thread here is and such, I think BCT is a better match for most of us, Smiley.

you have a promotion in november / December ?
I see most of the service provider domain makes promotion like GoDaddy

are you looking for domains promotion  or promotion for web hosting ?

I am looking for a promotional domain, I see someone open a domain registration service from GoDaddy for $ 2.5 (domain.com) are you have the same promosi ?

My understanding is that their costs are higher than this, and they are taking a hit on it in the hopes that you renew through them later or get hosting through them (both of which draw in profit).
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 09, 2015, 10:07:01 AM
I do not have good a strategy, i play so simple
if I have BTC0.05 I will all in loss or profit. just that.
High risk high return.

The lost chances are always bigger, unfortunatly.

Each casino will always have a greater chance to win. So does this business work. Casino has to earn.

If you bet big one time you just save your time.

I would prefer to say that betting all in on 1 roll is even better than using martingale, because most of the time the result will be the same "lost" LOL. Martingale is just a delay for losing our money, so when a player lose on martingale means that he/she lose 2 thing "money" and "time"

You mean like YOLO? I dont think so, may be for low bet you can do that but for higher bet like btc I dont think any player will do that YOLO thing. I still prefer you used martingale because you have big balance. Play it slowly untill you get your goal it is better rather than take that risk all in

That depends on the player. I saw some players do yolo on big amounts specially on prcdice someone bet 400btc IIRC on high chance

He bet 400btc with low multiply right? I dont think that is yolo. Yolo means all in or nothing to double your money so I dont think he dare to make that 400btc bet with 2x. It is too much risk but for low multiply let say 1.02x with 400btc basebet he can earn 8 btc for 1 click

Even at 1.02x, he could have busted on the first roll. And the upside was only 2%. That's a decently high risk to be making.
2424  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyFlop.eu | MOST FREE/POINT ROLL THEN ALL GAMING SITES on: November 09, 2015, 10:03:19 AM
Some post above Luckyflop stated they have around 20 regular players but they are wondering how to bring them online all together.

Maybe happy hour can help with this: bring "old" players online at the same time.
I was not talking about attracting new players when wrote about it: and you could be right about some players not being aware of what luckyflop points are...but "loyal" players should be aknowledged about them

Happy hour sounds great! we tried multiple things just hard to get players together at one time is the key! We had tried pizza and poker and we had about 5 Solid players that made NICE deposit but unfortunately I could not keep them bc we only had that 5 and could not get a solid 1-2 mbc game going. maybe next year Smiley

A happy hour would be a lot like the free pizza thing. I think that would be awesome is if there were promos that spanned across all the different tiers. I, for example, am more of a 0.01/0.02 player myself.

Our first dividends have been processed.

I have reduced the reinvest % to 50 and it will stay there for the time being. I have also added the BTC address and link to a bot to purchase LGSPOOL on counterparty automagically.

I will be updating the site shortly to reflect the changes in reinvest and the swap bot.

If I'm reading this right, it means ~40% ROI/yr? If so, that's awesome, Smiley.

If someone wants to have the address of the hacker, he moved all funds into one wallet (presumable a tumbler): https://blockchain.info/address/3DeXWvsJgbwUf1G8ocqLeotjUz7azK7Eh8
That is a Cubits.com deposit address, and it appears to be some kind of exchange. If he has used that address for other purposes, then more information may be able to be figured out about him. It might be helpful to contact cuebits.com to see if they can provide any information on the person behind that deposit address

If it indeed an address of Cubits (all cubits addresses does indeed start with a 3), you might be able to track what happened to the bitcoins at least for a while if you successfully contact all those sites the hacker used to well.. tumble the bitcoins.

It is a payment gateway, and AFAIK it is used in many sites and I believe even is some casinos etc. The hacker then sent it to a cubits address of say a site like betchain, got transferred to the merchant site, and the hacker most probably withdrew from the merchant site (to another site with an anonymous account?).

Edit: This guy has been doing this from 2015-09-29 Huh

How exactly did this happen? Isn't it possible to know whether there is some problem by simple tallying everything (deposits - total player lost [faucet, bonus, rake, wins,..] - withdrawal = player balance on site  and  checking balances in all addresses of the site tallies with what it should be - which is more important.)? Or do a weekly audit or something?

I lost about 30-35 BTC to the hacker.

why is it an estimate?

Bit-X also starts with a 3. That said, if it's not Cubits, try Bit-X and see if they can shed any light, Smiley.
2429  Economy / Gambling / Re: ToTheMoon.me | Invest into the Bankroll of Social gambling site on: November 06, 2015, 03:54:52 AM
I wrote the company.

I hope they are willing to help deal with this problem. I know in the past a few pools were nice enough to reject transactions that were related to scammers (and while I disagree with centralization, I think having a way to police ourselves is paramount).
2430  Economy / Gambling / Re: ToTheMoon.me | Invest into the Bankroll of Social gambling site on: November 05, 2015, 10:36:27 PM
The site will not go up in the next few days, if at all. So please PM me if you had funds on the site. For the investors: I will calculate the NAV and process all withdrawals starting from saturday when I am back at home.

Is there any update to this situation yet? Especially regarding how it affects investors to both sites?

Investors will be refunded at the NAV, and I will eat the losses from the hack. I don't think I have the time and resources to keep the site running for now. especially considering the possibility of another hack.

PM sent! Hopefully the NAV is looking good, Smiley.

Are you taking down the NXT one as well, or just the BTC?
2431  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyFlop.eu | MOST FREE/POINT ROLL THEN ALL GAMING SITES on: November 05, 2015, 06:49:35 PM
Is it possible to invest in lucky flop? Seems like a great investment.

Invest for what? They don't need investors, they need more players in order to gain profit

Investments = money for advertising = more players = more income = everyone happy.

But instead of asking for option to invest, anyone could just 'invest' funds/time in promoting the site with affiliate link. The effect will be the same, or similar.

It would appear that LF has sufficient marketing funds, so no need for reaching to outside investors, the tricky part is to choose the right, most effective promotion technique and target group.

LF just loves the LOVE from everyone. We need players to play daily and keep coming back. Look at all the free rolls or points for roll…

Poker is just so hard to market . It requires people to stay, perhaps there are players that want to come back and play but everytime they do so, there is no one to play for

It's a lot like MMOs... if there's nobody on, everyone that joins leaves. It requires a group to stay around even when alone, and then slowly more will start staying until it builds up.

Hello Everyone, Sorry I'm busy those days I just fixed the payment problem and thanks

Does that mean payment should have gone already? Nothing here and date still shows 2015-10-26 18 for next payment.

Is there a listing of what the improvements were? That's a pretty broad statement, Tongue.

someone is really desperate in these times, trying to leave HYPER market at any cost...

Time to accumulate some more.  It's going to be a fun ride over the next few months in the currency world for sure.

I'm pretty sure Hyper could increase its price and demand by bringing in more games to the scene. Hyper should get in touch with major game companies such as Activision, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts and many others. If that happens, everybody would love to play those games just to earn Hyper (and free money by the side) This is so exciting.  Cheesy

F2P ones are a better bet (Zynga and the like).

I'll post an update tomorrow. Just to clear things up quickly: The hacker stole Bitcoin from the Hotwallet by depositing non-existing BTC. I analysed all the player deposits and no player had any such fake deposits. This only happend on the BTC site, so NXT site is completely unaffected anyway.
How were they able to deposit fake BTC? Is this something that would be easily fixable?

Yeah, I'm not following this either. TTM waits for confirmations, so if the network has confirmed them, they should be good (aka not fake). Plus if no accounts had the deposits, how were they able to withdraw? Tongue.

Short version: we used block.io as a callback provider. Someone bruteforced the deposit password and our system trusted this source (should have double checked)

Really interesting stuff! I wouldn't even know where to start when exploiting things like that. As irritated as I get when people do hacks like this, there's also a certain level of respect I have for their ability to find loopholes and such.

That said, I wish they'd leave TTM (and my investments!) alone, :p.

So anyone who invested in MP when the profit at -70 has now made a nice amount of coins. Grin

I invested 1.36 BTC shortly before the doctors came to visit.

Now I have: 1,362,452.35 bits.

So I've recovered my losses, but not much more. My net profit is 0.18%.

Yeah, at least he lost the coins. There was a period where, for over 3 weeks, I was in the negatives (prior to that I was up like 20%). I'm positive all-around now though, Smiley.

Is this contest finish already? If yes, then I still got a Your ticket number: 81854#### from the site and this message also Consider creating a free account to get lower cool down times on ticket claims.

I'm new to this site don't know how exactly it works. Is this weekly lucky draw kind of thing?

Drawing happens every time the pool gets to 0.05 BTC (I think was the latest, right?). So however long that takes. Your ticket is for drawing #2.
