Astonished!!! XFC on bittrex after less than a day on C-CEX after being quoted

''We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc''

with hazy premine details, delayed launch, high hash when eventually launched etc etc etc...

Rant over!!

I have no interest in this coin apart from watching the almighty dump when it arrives.

lol your funny  Cool

On another note,

I am pushing BC Pool to add MIN as a payout option. I feel there are some there, dev wise, who may be open minded about that. Does anyone have any objections to that possibility? I just don't want to be wasting my time over in the BCP IRC which I may be already anyways. Ok, a little feed back here maybe would help, especially from the miners in here.

I know we have a multipool for MIN now from our very own dev even though I know its more or less a simple beta version and right now he has his hands full with bigger priorities Smiley

You mean they would payout in MIN instead of BC? or make it another payout option?
Would they do that? It's called BC Pool. I don't really understand.
Yes, another payout option only, as far as the name? BC Pool, I'm sure they can come up with a marketing twist not to diminish the pools namesake if they really wanted to lol. If they just stick to BC I feel their hash numbers AND profits will slowly diminish without a good shot in the arm, I believe MIN for them could achieve this, and also give us a way to accumulate more MIN as miners. Just a mutual opportunity perhaps for BC fans and MIN fans Smiley

PS: I am not overly optimistic they will bite, possibly due to foolish pride..... but hopeful non the less, we'll see?

Not sure why you want the BC multipool to jump on MIN. The reason people mine on the BC multipool is because they want to be paid out in BC. The reason people mine on the MIN multipool is because they want to be paid out in MIN. We have multipool on CoinKing.

Multipools are about the communitys and support for the coin. Why would Blackcoin care about MIN and why would MIN care about BlackCoin?

Apologies if im coming off blunt but im just trying to understand why we should get the BC multipool involved.  Smiley
No apology needed lol well for me coinking sucks, and our dev is to busy to tend to our Min Pool or I would be there now. Plus at the moment BC payouts yield the most money. So why not have an option to convert that payout to MIN? that would give MIN the added demand and stability it could use. Just like BC Pool did for BC supposedly... though I'm not convinced it has lol, but I do understand where you are coming from. Just thinking outside that box you are referring to. Don't worry I'm sure they will shoot it down anyways, but worth exploring is all.

http://cryptoalts.com/ would add it I think. http://www.blackcoinpool.com would even consider your question as heracy I'm afraid Wink

lol yes I know!!! but their pool numbers, hash is down, and I don't see it going up? Now may be the time for them to consider other alternatives?

heresy that's a good one Smiley I have felt that in the IRC a few months ago while be objectively critical of a few things, but times change and so does the business needs and models.

Keep working on this, We need to sustain demand for minerals. I'm tweeting about the e-sport announcement via Tweeter.

I just wrote maarx (BC Pool) a nice short and sweet PM about adding MIN as a payout option to BCP. I ask him to forward it on to the devs I will post that PM later if and when he responds, but last night maarx seemed open minded himself about that, but not solely his call. OK, maybe at least we can get them thinking about it. BC and MIN hmmm? ya never know lol Both great coins. Endless Possibilities.  Wink

I'm sure they will be scouring our thread here so we really need to see some feedback from the miners in here***** as I provided a link to maarx

Good morning gang, nice to see MIN back at a respectable floor again, btw we haven't heard from coinler lately?, guess his predictions where wrong as we suspected. Was beginning to think he was fudding on MIN, oh well I'm sorry he dumped his coins. But he can buy more if he hurry's he can grab em at 2100 lol
Just ribbing ya a little coinler if your still out there looking at MIN.  Grin

I'm over on BC Pool IRC I just told the devs they need to add Minerals as a payout lol, actually getting some positive responses

comments from maarx : ( me blacky) lol

7:55:21 PM<Blackie|92909>Suggestion: BC pool DEVS consider adding Minerals (MIN) as a payout, I'm sure you attract many miners and  Maybe even have a chance to give away that KNC Miner that will soon be collecting dust

8:02:13 PM<Blackie|92909>Ok Guys devs... look at adding Minerals,,, Its ok we all still love BC but you want to up your x11 hashing and more just add min. I will spread the word, and you will have quick results in your hash power!

8:02:40 PM<maarx>blackie, have to propose this to the pool devs.. but some in here agree I think

8:06:58 PM<maarx>my group is big community

8:07:16 PM<Blackie|92909>yes I know, put it up for a vote?

8:07:37 PM<maarx>ye.. well its good.. will talk with pool devs

Others:

7:57:04 PM<bobcaticus>Need more minerals!

7:57:15 PM<Arigard>I got minerals too

7:57:18 PM<Arigard>That coin is pretty cool

there's more of course... will see if it gets any traction? doesn't hurt to try....  Wink the words out people know about MIN Smiley
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: June 27, 2014, 09:21:38 PM
Interesting concepts. The in-wallet betting would be amazing but I assume it would be much harder to pull off development-wise. Would it be viable to have both options, both the web based one and the wallet integrated one some time down the road? I would say launch the web based betting platform first if anything, and then move on to the in-wallet system if there is demand for it.

Truth be told, both models are web based Smiley The one that's in wallet is just a web page that is opened in a frame. We thought about integrating it to the wallet completely but it would take more time and effort. We'll keep it as frame for now and see how it goes
Simply ingenious! I love it!  Cheesy

I can vouch for CoinKing. Have been mining with them on x11 and they seem to be rather profitable, and only 1 percent fee. Get on it people
After mining coinking for 13 hrs. they seemed very unprofitable, My earnings with 15 MH pointed there for that time .95 cents. lol needless to say I am mining elsewhere and in turn buying my own MIN Smiley

Also, good to hear from DEV as posted last night I was sure he was working hard on the betting side as voted. please everyone quit hen pecking him especially about anon. Get to it when he can. I agree about getting things right the first time as with the e- betting etc.

Yes MIN on the move today looking vibrant as can be Smiley

Dev most of us have full faith and confidence in your work. I certainly appreciate the great coin you have brought to us. So glad I got involved. Keep it up!
I don't know how good CoinKing, but you generally want to wait for about 24 hours after you finish mining with a multipool to let all the coins mature, let late exchanges get in and so on.

Did you wait 24 before calculating your profit?
yes I have .95 sitting in my X11 balance. I stopped mining over 12 hrs. ago.

The MIN dev has been illusive from the start. He is also a man of few words. His post have been on topic, short and sweet and to the point. To expect him to Pm everyone on every idea or suggestion just wont happen. I'm sure he sees the market and I'm sure that's NOT his primary concern right now, no pre mine, no fees in his pool, all mining there given back, fair distribution and on and on, I think his goal and vision for this coin isn't about making a quick buck, actually more of the opposite. Lets just trust for now he is hard at it, maybe without distractions from the thread/community. He gave us a priority choice we all see the results so that's probably what he is doing. And he may have a real job all day like most of us Smiley

For the record, even if I never make another dime on MIN, I have already made more in 4 days of mining X11 MIN than all other X11 coins combined over the last few months. So who's complaining? lol It all good here and I'm still holding over 50% of my mined coins. even If they fall to 1 satoshi I'm still in the black on MIN.

PS: Min inching back up on buttrax  Cool

if u say so.. but im not one to really care what price i purchase coins.. or sell them as long as i believe in them or dont anymore as the case may be. anyway.. it is just a projection on the markets. i will await the result of the e-sports betting announcements and see what that does for the market. some of you may know starcraft.. but you dont really know investment and markets. we will see if i turn out to be correct. though id much rather not be and prevent that. would be a shame for minerals to let control fall to daytraders at such a low price. it will take u into a downtrading spiral by my prediction because they will have nowhere to run when the buys dont come. there is currently no real market interest. daytraders are just trying to get coins as cheap as possible to trade the margins. they hold no real value for the coins except in extracting btc. i usually just buy off sell side. but really.. im an investor and a trader. i will do what i think is best for me failing the actions of the dev or community. i will have demands. and i will have responses when those demands are not met.. just like all miners, traders and investors.

do not accuse me of manipulation. if u dont want me to be part of the community i can just leave. and i will as a matter of fact.. just be quiet from now on. good luck. and i hope that for all the investors that bought in above 2k that i am wrong and you regain a return on your investment. i do not want to see anyone lose.

once again.. goodluck.. and goodbye. this way there wont be any more accusations coming in my direction.

coinler you seem like a good guy and someone who is well versed in trading in general, but don't let that type of thinking over shadow the broader picture of what really makes a good coin in the end. I feel Minerals has what it takes, sure the markets will fluctuate and all coins have a cooling off phase after initial listings on exchange. This coin is just in its infancy and has already defied all odds, if you don't see that and why that is and how that is, then maybe you should be over on The wall Observer trading with the big boys on BTC investments and trading's. But I prefer you to stay and help, and maybe not so much give us all advise on when or when not to buy, kinda just let nature takes its course here. And you may very well be correct in your predictions and time will tell but there is no metals given out in thread for predicting anything good or bad, I think most in here just want the coin to get put in to use and then see where it goes from there. Sure some of us perhaps even you will take a loss on MIN and others will profit but that's true with any coin in my experience. So just chill a little and go with the flow and chime in where one of us my need advise on buying or selling? And try being creative as you were earlier on in thread. No one has all the answer here yet nor will they. Ok, just for the what its worth dept. from an old guy that's been around the block to many times  Wink
