Getting on Poloniex would help spread out sells. We have more than enough volume. No reason not to add it
whole community agrees with that idea.. Whats really gonna do the trick is 1oK market activity has to expand and once enough ppl start to grasp the 1oK concept the market will reveal what the community demands. Patience is a virtue 1oK is still young. Opportunity is in the €¥€ of the bagholder. P2P360 Fixed

I am still limping in my one leg from Rosscoin. I don't know if I want to limp in the other leg too...

Just picked up a few more - i'm completely addicted to this coin! Same pinch... It's like a dose of Drugs that I need to take daily in order to survive, and am daily getting 30% more of it... Looks like people with first 5 wallets at Rich list are very selfish and they don't care to much about 10k community. They have thousands of coins and they made rules here.Every time price is start going up somebody ( I know who is ) dumping 3000 or more to take price down. After price going lower then he dumped he buying back at lower price and waiting when buyers pushed price up . Maybe is a good strategy but if we start doing the same selfish sells this coin can go to the rats level very soon.So..stop fat ashole playing fool with others. You're acting like an selfish idiot. That is why I say the two biggest factors for 10K are buy support and human nature a.k.a. greed.

what do I do with the coins that got on scrypt?
Take a screenshot of the wallet with the coins in it, next to a bag for extra effect. Print the private key and frame the picture with the key below it. You can sign the pic first if you want to but it is not critical. Hang it on the wall next to the pictures of your other bags. Lets see what the dev does with the SHA coin.

also add the high stake reward
The value of a high stake reward is dependent on the future view of the holder. If the holder has a future view that the stake will be worth a lot, he will hold and not sell or potentially even buy more. If the future view is that the price will be low, he will sell before it goes that low. The future view is dependent on the value added by the dev team based on their plans and roadmaps. Looks like many ppl see the future of this "experiment". I think it is more a case of holders seeing their holdings as a cash cow. Holders hope that their growing holdings will find an expanded market to provide the buy support. The challenge for the dev team is to find that market, failure of which will cause mass selloffs.

A few observations for the dev of this coin:
Firstly:
The specs per OP are: - 9,500,000 coins over the lifespan of POW - 1 minute block time - 25 coins per block - Halving after 190,000 blocks (12,5 coins per block after that it seems) - Premine 0.074% which is 7,030 coins (0.00074 x 9,500,000)
Therefore, 190,000 blocks at 25 per block gives you 4,750,000 coins. Another 380,000 after that at 12,5 per block is another 4,750,000 blocks for the total 9,500,000. At 1 minute per block it adds up to 570,000 minutes. This equates to 9500 hours which equates to 395 days.
Is it correct to assume then that all POW blocks will be mined in 395 days and what happens after that?
Secondly:
Looking at the block explorer all blocks issued generated its own address and are listed at 25 coins each. If you have solo mined, your blocks will not be listed in your wallet address but in the individual block addresses. In order to get your address listed in the richlist, you need to move your coins out to another separate wallet and then back to to your original wallet address. This consolidates the individual blocks to your wallet address and leaves the solo mined addresses at zero. This is not applicable to pool mined coins as pool mined coins are credited to your address as specified. The dev should also move the premine to a single address and mark the premine address or list it on the OP so that it can appear on the rich list and be tracked by the public.

How to transfer 1000 old coins on scrypt in the new sha-256 wallet? I have 2 different addresses wallets. You cant. Your scrypt coins are gone. You have to mine new ones on SHA256.

Update will be on this week ?
iGotSpots says so. To be specific - start of this week. Whatever the news is it has to do one of 2 things: 1) Increase buy support and/or 2) Change human behavior to keep and not to sell.

Was there not a coin a while back that you could mine if you like gorillas? And one for lions? and rhino... Personally I like night owls a lot so if there was a coin for that Id mine it for sure. What will you be adding to the body of knowledge of virtual currencies in assisting with building a virtual currency for the future? Or is this coin just to attack those buy orders like a wild beast as soon as it is listed? Alt-coins have one purpose, and that is to test out new things (technical, processes, economics) in real life conditions to build the coin of the future, for which participants are rewarded for their efforts. If the tests work well then the coin sticks and lasts longer. What conditions are you creating and what new things will you be testing?

@iGotSpots, I think you should go beyond the boundaries now and do something to have everyone's 10k alive as we feel it deserves to be in the markets and not get destroyed just for the sake of profits... Don't get me wrong, but if only profit was the motive behind this coin, I feel it's time to think something more for it to sustain... This has been suggested in the early pages of this thread already, more than a week ago when the price was much higher.

I had a silly little idea and want to here your guys opinion on it. What i think this coin does is give the advantage of a central bank in the hand of the people (castillon effect , read it) since They are the first recievers of the newly created money. Kind of like a DEcentral Bank. Now since the talks about capping the interest some day already started the question is how could we decentralise that decision too taking it out of the hand of any authority incl igotspots (no offense , i think you'll like this idea) is it technically possible to let every node owner vote lets say once a month what would be his/her wish interest rate for the coming month( year, week, interval is debatable) then the network calculates the average and puts it into use til the next vote. this could make this coin even more unique and future proof till for ever. this would be the most libertarian crypto to date. monetary revolution brainstorm While the idea is novel and could work in real life where you change an interest rate with the push of a button, we are talking about a block chain here. Such a change is something that you reserve for doing once, perhaps twice or in utmost emergency. It would be too much admin and risk to do monthly changes of that nature. While possible, crypto inherently does not lend itself to such changes without much effort and planning. Unless the dev has an ace up his sleeve to do such a thing seamlessly.

What are the details for the relaunch?

You change the algo, how the coin that has been mined? sorry, i do not understand He will have to relaunch with a new sha256 wallet. Existing coins will be lost.

tonight 22.00 change ePAYER on SHA256 hash algorithm
So it is a re-launch with new wallets etc? What time zone @22:00 is the relaunch GMT+1?

staking is getting so much harder now with smaller amounts you need to have higher and higher stake weights lol soon 100 coins will take days to stake this is awesome Coins still have to be allocated as per the design. It might just take longer to get them but over time it will average back to design specs.

|
|
can the price of this coin be maintained even with this high stake?
Under normal arms length conditions no, but if the sellers don't sell and new buyers come in all the time then yes.
