Nice that's the way to start off a weekend. Even better right after a little Diff increase.

Let's keep'em coming, makes me want to pull the trigger on an 841, while I wait for the A9 to launch.
2902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: September 07, 2018, 05:52:13 PM
^^

Close but I think they were going for something like "How easy"

Then someone got offended, it is 2018, by how close the "as" in easy are to ASS so they took it out.

Then they were left with How and ey, and they merged it in one glorious move.

100% fact and as legit as Howeycoins itself.

Honestly all you can do is post and try to help. Anything Low quality or spammy can  be reported and hopefully get deleted. This would be the most action/effort I would expect from the Mods, is to deal with them on a case by case basis. Anything more will only create a backlog in people being able to post ADS, legitimate or not.

I would be opposed to a paid membership or paid threads, as that would create barriers to legitimate users possibly more so than scammers/spammers as they are more than willing to pay a small fee for a large ripoff. Once again I think we just need to use the tools we have to shape the forum in a way we want. This mostly comes down to what you are doing, report threads, and post your questions where things seem scammy. Your rank won't matter if the questions are valid.

I haven't been making my rounds through the physical goods section as often but I was posting these guidelines on any threads I felt were lacking information.

If it ever comes lol.

Thanks again for holding these raffles, they've been fun to watch/participate in.

Very generous of you.
2906  Other / Meta / Re: Death Threat from the Worldcore team on: September 07, 2018, 03:16:59 PM
Seems like a bit of a reach on threatening you with death. Mostly because they also refer to the life sentence, so perhaps they are unaware of the laws.

I would also move this to reputation, and report the post to a moderator explaining your stance.

Yes I am affluent on those just take a look at the next post down from the one you linked up Tongue

Missed that on the phone yesterday, I've replied in your specific thread, fairly interested to get more details on the issue. Almost a bonus if there are no adverse affects.
2908  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 841 Rouge on: September 07, 2018, 02:03:07 PM
I was wondering a few things.

  • Is this a new addidtion? Do both 841's have the same firmware?
  • When you change the voltage options does either machine operate differently? Have you tried just the 1 machine on it's own for a baseline?
  • Are you just basing off the GHSasc numbers? If so I think that is just a peak hashrate reached not sustained.
  • Can you post a copy of your API log? Might be something in there.

I remember with the 741's there were some lottery units based on their chip design that just outperform other units, not sure if this is true for the 8 series. You may have gotten lucky if there are no adverse affects. I noticed you said it slows down after reaching the high temperature limit, does it ever shutdown?

Have you played with the "more options" feature.

If not, from what I remember the basic voltage offset option actually doesn't do anything.

Here is the beginning of the posts that first covered the commands. The level adjustment has a greater effect.

So as amazing as this is, let's stroll back into on-topic territory.

I believe we were discussing a Natzi, and their dislike of [Insert imaginary slight].

The discussion about taxation and wealth has the potential to do well in P&S

I'm not sure what or where you posted in P&S.

I am however confident that if you were post was on-topic, decently written and thought out; the stance  or ideals behind it would not have mattered. This forum and it's moderators are not here to suppress anyone's views or ideals, within the rules of this forum and the specific board. I have both read and engaged in topics within P&S that cover all manner of different views there, and I can guarantee that FH doesn't agree with all of them.

So why do you feel it would be your specific views that would be targeted by them? Your post may have been deleted for being redundant, off-topic, low quality; again without specifics who knows.

2914  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism vs honest mistakes: BAN or nuance? on: September 05, 2018, 06:51:33 AM
Despite how your instance turned out. I tried my hand at lenience, mostly because it appeared to be an omission of facts. Here the user clearly uses quotation marks, but does not cite the source of the quotes. I gave them a response in the next post, but could not review their post history due to language barriers.
2915  Other / Meta / Re: Help for heroes on: September 05, 2018, 06:48:03 AM
^^

I'm not going to lie, your post makes no sense and the more I read it the less I understand. I'm guessing you do not understand the idea behind the OP.

Secondly and most importantly you need to properly cite your sources for the quotes you are using. I was on the fence about reporting you for Plagiarism and am giving you the benefit of the doubt here, only because you placed them within quotation marks. This can be done even by simply writing the person's name or the text it was taken from after each quote. I did not look any further than the second one which appears to be paraphrased, but the first is a direct quote.

The saying of the wise person says the hero,

# 1 "Learning without thinking is useless, but thinking without learning is very dangerous!"

# 2 "Men and women are two wings of a bird. If two wings are as strong, then fly the bird to the highest peak; if one of the two wings is broken, then the bird can't fly at all. "

# 3 "Whoever wants pearls, must dare to dive in the deep ocean."

# 4 "If we have a strong desire from the heart, then the entire universe will work together to make it happen."

# 5 "Write about me in black or white ink. Let history read and answer it. "

# 6 "Make this pain as a testimony that even one power has its limits. Because lasting power is only God's power. And above all is the Power of God Almighty. "

I did try and look through your post history to see if this is a systematic pattern but most posts are either a bounty or in the local Indonesian board.
2916  Other / Meta / Re: Help for heroes on: September 05, 2018, 05:21:35 AM
I wouldn't worry about it JC. I'm still 168 away from hero. Let's talk then. Tongue

In all reality though, what's the rush to ranking up. In the beginning members would quickly shut down lower rank members who looked at this daunting task and complained. These members needed a reality check of how the reality of the forum has changed. I think that some higher rank members need this to, but some see yourself and whoever else achieved the rank rather quickly and expect the same result.

I've said it before, ranking up now requires more than a pulse and an internet connection. The amount of Merit people receive is somewhat proportional to quality and activity throughout the forum not just a board or 2. Unless that board is Meta, which is one of the more heavily weighted merited boards.

Instead of this massive prize, why don't you devote a portion of the time you would spend hunting for newbie posts and read through some hero accounts.
2917  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: September 05, 2018, 02:40:56 AM
I am sitting here wishing I chose RavenCoin instead of DGB, though.

*snip*
In the interest of simplicity and moving things along, I will replace my RVN bid with Siacoin.

We almost had RVN unfortunately they were 1 day late getting onto Bittrex. Still doing impressively well early on with what we have.

Raven's been my gamble since March.  Wink
2918  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Slush's pool block notification on: September 05, 2018, 01:38:10 AM
You should post this in the slush pool thread, you will find a lot more users who are interested in the project.

Might even catch the eye of the slush official who is active in that thread.
2919  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] remaining BTC to the Future! Limited Edition Series v1.0 pieces + BONUS on: September 05, 2018, 01:35:37 AM
I might beat you to the edit, but I will also take 27, 28 and 29.

For a total of 6. Thanks again.

As for the SE cars, I'd like a matching number set, lowest one available.

Hey there

I'll take an Arcade piece please. If possible combine with my order in the other thread. Any chance these are numbered?
