Each of my A841s are running — with a voltage level offset setting of -2 — at around 8.8 TH/s after the firmware updates, while drawing approximately 732.5 W. This translates to roughly 82.9 W per TH/s.
My 841 units dropped from 13.7 TH/s to 9.2 TH/s and my 821 units from 11.6 TH/s to 9 TH/s. These are all on the same controller and haven't tried running them on their own. I upgraded MM firmware separately. Voltage level offset set to 0. Claimed .085 J/GH. I don't have meter but that should put them around 750-800 watts. I swapped out some larger PSUs for 1200w HP. Two 841 on this firmware seems like it would be similar to a single 921.
It just dawned on me that for the moment, with these upgrades available the 841 is pretty much equal with the 921 right now for Canaan's most competitive hardware. I'd like to reflect that in the Current List of Competitive Hardware - December 2018. Just want to make sure the details seem clear where I link to. To achieve the desired efficiency do you have to have the update installed for both the Miner and the Controller, or do you achieve results by just updating for the Miner?

and if anyone can figure out how to post the damn clock instead of just a frozen screeny, I'll merit you.
Enjoy no need to merit. Just refresh the page and it should update. Consider it a gift for the celebration. I've followed/read most of the thread. Glad everyone gets to see some justice done.

Anybody know where Inno is at with this model?
Op, your profile does say you are an official representative... how about some updates on where you guys are at.
Iirc the T2T+ is a new miner not just an update and should have shipped out last month; did they? Are the T3's still in production or on time?
I get that the market is not at all what it was even a month ago, but information should still be flowing at a better pace than it is.

You're probably looking to use BTC but in case that doesn't work out, I did see these here from Memory express 299.99 with a 30$ mail in rebate. Not sure how close you are to their Alberta location but could save you the shipping. https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX70196Amazon was the next best I believe, still more expensive unless you bought it used.

Overall disagree with it.
I feel these two metrics should be representative of the individual members experience. The ignore list whether they use it or not, should grow based on their experience with individuals they've decided have nothing to offer them. I think to often new members here might just jump on the bandwagon and adopt lists that seem popular overall which in the long run could reduce their experience.
I think the same of the trust setting, though DT is the same as your idea in a way. People don't understand it enough as is, and I think having an option like this would only compound it. They'd be better off learning how the system works and adding to the DT trust list as they see fit. I say that because despite peoples opinions on DT it does serve the purpose of giving you an initial impression of peoples trust then allows you to adjust it as you see fit.
There may be some people who can think of a few persons they would trust to make a list like these for them. Even so I imagine it's probably more difficult than it seems to make several dynamic lists that would auto update.

Can we add a system same as the Evil IP but for deleted posts?
I adjusted this to be what I believe Iasenko was going for. I'm not sure if they meant only as a result of being reported or just total deleted posts in general. The second is already in place with the autoban function (as far as I'm aware) if people make a few posts and are a new user and they get deleted within a certain time limit, they get autobanned. It's nice to look at on the seclog (although I'm not entirely sure if that is what it is or not - could just be hilariousandco clicking his smite button on a load of newb profiles and changing the type of ban to a fancier one )... I believe that is only for Newbies. The idea here I believe is to have a level of punishment for all members.
Overall I would have to say I disagree with the idea as it stands. Just for example I have had quite a few posts deleted, for whatever reason, some of them as a result of providing coaching for a reported post. I do that from time to time hoping they will see it read it and learn, full well knowing my post will also be deleted once things are handled. There is also the question of some boards having differences of opinion on what constituted going OT or is just a good addition to overall discussion. I don't feel genuine users should be punished just because of shitposting spammers. Now if this were more tied into how many posts are deleted or reported and deleted in a certain timeframe that may narrow it down to the intended group. Perhaps also more of a limit as opposed to a punishment, such as only being able to make 14 posts/week for 2 months. The types of things that would possibly cut into the income earnings if that's why they are here, or to at least stifle the spamming. This could allow members to change habits should they want to contribute to the forum or provide a barrier to earning for those that just want to make money.

This is so stupid.
[...]
It takes 10 seconds to update pool information.
Frankly the premise is so stupid - as are the plaintiffs if they can't input their info in a timely manner - I hope the judges find it without merit and dismiss it.
That was my thoughts on it. It doesn't surprise me though people often jump at the chance to sue a large entity hoping to get rich. What I'm most interested in is finding out more on this first plaintiffs mining background. Their either a damn good con man hoping to capitalize on a complete lack of understanding, or their the equivalent of someone jumping in front of a car for an insurance scam. Phil gave a good number on what Bitmain could reasonably say the total amount owing would be, and attempt to settle. I think they could also laughably use that number and say they will provide all past customers with a 25-50$ coupon for future use. This actually has some merit if you look at antpool on the solo rankings
Assuming this did proceed to court. Here's where it would get tricky in my mind and goes back to my initial "defence" of prove it via logs. I assume the above to be the username used for all initial QA testing and burn in, big assumption. Not sure about cases in the US but I believe it's up to the aggrieved party to prove they've been wronged, and that would be hard. So unless it can be shown that Bitmain, or other hardware manufacturers actually paid someone to input these pool settings before shipping the miners out I don't really see a case. I haven't bought many Bitmain products so I don't remember where they said they were pointed, but that 454 blocks could also help them to suppress any settlement amount. The calculation is no longer a PPS what would my few hours seconds of hash have earned, it's now there were only this many blocks found at these price points, where any of them yours?

There was an old thread
That threads a pretty good read... some trolls before they were; and a few decent ideas. I like the wood drying idea, this would be a nice way to split the mining load for anyone who still has an old wood burning stove or fireplace. Have a few inside and then a couple outside drying the wood in a shed/garage or something. I have started using a little rack in the room to give the dryer a break for towels and what not, just gotta catch them before they're like sandpaper and bone dry.

That's just it a misunderstanding lost in translation. There are also a lot of the smaller miners who maybe haven't worked in or seen a large industrial building who dont grasp the size or concept behind a large service cable.
You are talking essentially running a service line like people do from their homes to their garage panel, but on a much larger scale. That's how j mine in my garage for the summer.
The problem for stryfe if I read correctly us that they had 2 separate services to the property, so their home service likely won't have the available amps, or possibly no panel space.
Stryfe Good luck getting up and running what a BS situation with your provider. I'd be livid waiting on approval for an upgrade and then coming back to a disconnection.

I am sorry that my advice was misunderstood.
That's not how I understood your advice just to be clear. I feel OP took the general idea and tried to manipulate your example to achieve their goals. It's just not working out for them, as it was pretty transparent.

And just like that we are profitable again~ a small win is still a win. Not that we are out of the woods yet by any means but I thought we'd stay negative for a couple weeks.
Looking forward to seeing how this Dec/Jan play out. I'm not expecting anything big, but I think it will be some slow steady gains.

My topic does not concern any alternative cryptocurrency at all. I do not discuss any alternative currency. Read carefully.
This conflicts with your original post But the moderator moved my topic only because it does not concern Bitcoin.
And he moved it from the "programmers" section to the "alternative cryptocurrency" section. But there are no specialists in this section and the topics quickly replace each other.
I think it’s very wrong to transfer this topic just because this topic is more related to ethereum.
You tweaked your original topic based on some advice here that may have allowed the topic to blur the lines and remain within the board. However that is contingent on the moderator agreeing with you, which they do not. So my advice, let it go. Sitting here trying every little trick to force your will upon the board and moderator will not serve you well. I've provided you with my advice and opinion above should you want to reconsider.

I like those numbers especially considering this isn't gear I'd have to order.
Did you happen to run any of them without the offset just to see what they draw for a baseline after upgrading?

Sorry to hear your project isn't going well. Iirc there were some early successes though, a couple posts you did submit to P&S maybe?
I guess it's a small scale example of the barriers to entry theymos refers to from time to time. Though I still think it's lazy to not take the extra step. I like the idea of your project, and if you're interested would be willing to review some of the member accounts that do apply. I'd have to check over what your criteria is and I could just review a list and send you a list of who check all the boxes.
Feel free to Pm me if you fall behind and need an extra set of eyes.

Here's a version of the article I read the other day https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/5-million-lawsuit-against-bitmain-filed-northern-california/Key points: It's a Class action lawsuit filed in the US, by miners who purchased Bitmain products. Now before you jump for joy at the potential payoff, they are planning on limiting the actual number of plaintiffs represented to 100 people through some criteria. They are suing over Bitmain earning from the gear at the miners expense. At first glance I assumed this was someone going after their QA process and length of burn in time. However it's over the initial startup of a new miner; you know how it connects to Antpool for Bitmain until you input your own pool information. That's where I had a chuckle, because the plaintiffs make themselves seem somewhat incompetent and want to blame Bitmain. I feel like they are counting on jury being ignorant to the facts about how mining rewards are earned or payed out. They talk about how every second the machine is on that Bitmain is earning off them; maybe if they shipped out the miners and pointed them at someone else's PPS pool. Here is my favorite quote from the article in regards to how long Bitmain could be earning. In addition, the court filing claims Bitmain’s mining devices can take anywhere between several hours to a few days to configure.
In the end I imagine this gets dismissed, maybe Bitmain has to ship he miners without pointing them to their pool in the future. Considering it's industry practice to ship the Miners configured this way I imagine most manufacturers will at least be paying attention to the outcome. My defense would probably be somewhere along the lines of prove your miner submitted a share and found a block; Oh you don't have the log data sorry.

Have you discussed it with the moderator?
The problem for you is this is a Bitcoin forum, and for inclusion they have alt boards. All they have done is move it to the appropriate section.
Not much to be done, I'm sure there is an Ethereum based forum out there, you could post your question. You could aslo recreate the topic as a self moderated thread, and bump it daily on that board in an attempt to keep it visible and clean.

Let’s just hope for the best! That the BTC will go up and the difficulty go down! Unfortunately that window only lasts about 2016 Blocks. As soon as the price rises the Diff will follow. If it's slow enough it'll buy us some more time with a lower Diff maybe 2 or 3 retarget periods, but last year is a good example of how fast Diff can rise if the price increases quickly. Only this time there won't be a bottleneck on hardware, there is an ample supply just waiting to be purchased or turned back on. In the meantime I'll happily sit here partially heating the house with some 741's, collecting some lower Diff coins for a better tomorrow. Would have been nice to snag one last block before we lost a bunch of Hashpower but I'm looking forward to their 5ND running out.

Just checked in with the site and here is where they stand. Looks like shipping has been moved back unless there is already a batch of pre-orders for January, but I must admit I haven't been following them. 3 series of Miner all shipping February 28 in the title - Generic details say the 15th. I put them all here for now, as opposed to a different thread for every+ they ad. If the miners turn out to be fundamental different in some way then maybe they need their own thread. E11 -> 30TH/S w/ PSU 1110$ 65W/TH E11+ -> 37TH/S w/ PSU 1517$ 55W/TH E11++ -> 44TH/S w/PSU 2024$ 45W/TH Unfortunately they have so little information I'm not sure what they are doing to achieve the different hashrates/efficiencies. That's the only thing that really changes from page to page. I have emailed them for some information about that as well as the PSU they are including. I also couldn't find anything about a MOQ, I put 1 in the cart just fine, but I didn't bother to create an account to move beyond that. The total and quantities did show properly for 1 unit.
