Thanks Steamtyme. I will have a look. Any trick for repairing on my own ?

Sorry missed this.

Actual board repair is outside my skillset. What you can do is snap some photos of the problem board and see if anyone notices the problem and has any advice.

Good luck
2362  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [POLL] Crypto Cosmos ERROR DECKS on: January 17, 2019, 12:20:51 AM
Thanks just wanted to be sure I understood.

Funnily enough, the first deck I took out of the full charge was one of these. I was like "whaaaat - they did it not emboss - all the xtra work for nothing?" So I checked all decks, and luckily it was only 7 decks (one that I keep myself - I opened it already).

I could only imagine the horror at first. Glad it all worked out in the end.
2363  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [POLL] Crypto Cosmos ERROR DECKS on: January 17, 2019, 12:01:05 AM

Wow definitely glad I grabbed 2 decks as it will be nice having one of each.

Just wondering, is the plan to swap boxes, and still have the stamped and numbered card and sticker for #55 in/on the un-embossed box?

Thanks again really looking forward to seeing these in person.
2364  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Need Advice] - Getting screwed by Paypal! - [Please Help] on: January 16, 2019, 05:34:42 PM
Unfortunately you won't be able to do anything via Paypal.

Where you might be okay is that you verified their ID's. I'm guessing this means that you actually met them? Start by going and filing a police report, as this would still fall under fraud. Once you've filed the report you might be able to use that to hold off PP for a bit before they pull back all the money.

2365  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [POLL] Crypto Cosmos ERROR DECKS on: January 16, 2019, 03:24:58 PM
Totally down with B.

Will be a nice addition for anyone to score one of these decks alongside their purchase.
2366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: January 16, 2019, 02:56:47 PM
Which food specifically?  Tongue Also, how are the people?

Dude I bet someone who made a money transmitter company(which uses bitcoin in the back-end) in the Philippines, that has low fees is going to be decently rich. There are LOTS of overseas filipino workers or "OFWs" that are sort of forced to use current money transmitters with like 10% fees or such. If they learn that there's a way to send money with smaller fees, boi that's gonna boom.

Man I could eat Adobo anything, so good. Overall it's given me an appreciation for the sweet and savory meat/stew dishes. The best/worst was the very addictive pork spring rolls, had to seek help last year to stop shoving them in my face.... now I'm getting hungry wonder that the special is today.

The people are super friendly, and polite. I feel bad as I think a lot of the new comers are afraid of insulting someone or doing some small thing wrong. It tends to put them in the mindset almost of a class system, I know I get way more Sir's than I deserve, but things tend to become way less formal after a few months when they finally get a chance to breathe and realize they don't have to worry so much.

AFA the money transmitting goes, I'm sure it would do well. I'd have to look back at it but I was surprised by the lack of options out there apart from western union; especially for a fast transfer. To make a go if it you definitely need an office in the Phillipines to handle the cash dispersals, as I've heard it can be tricky to get new accounts tied in with coins.ph and your banking info. That was one major hurdle was trying to explain how they could get their funds on the other end.
2367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M10 33.0 Th/s, 2145W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: January 16, 2019, 02:30:05 PM
Received my shipping details from Pangolin yesterday, should have them in hand Friday. Just gotta figure out what I'm keeping online and where over the weekend.

Anyone not buying these from Pangolin isn't doing their research. They were 125$ cheaper than whatsminer to begin with and the discount code just made it better. Not sure if there's some benefit for other countries that I don't see but it was clear cut for me.

I can't complain about electricity prices, that's what made these 2 an easy buy. I want to get them up and running and am considering a 3rd or 4th. This would essentially leave me all in on Whatsminer, decisions decisions.
2368  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Over 30 lots of silver bitcoin coins on: January 16, 2019, 03:20:46 AM
What does the community say about that?

Ill go with public opinion for the answer

I'm not super active in the collectibles. I grab what i can.

My opinion is whatever you decide is fine with me as it's your auction.  (Not to mention the item is outside my realm)

Having been a wallflower here for a bit i know people tend to drop the formality from time to time when it comes to bidding but it can cause issues.

Perhaps update OP to state a valid bid format to prevent this and what appears to be a second correction.

Good luck everyone with the remaining auction days

The decks turned out amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on these.

Great job
2370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: January 15, 2019, 04:39:58 PM
but I didn't know it was somewhere around 50%.
-snip-
Just keep bitcoin hidden and working on the back end.

Well not all of canada has the same distribution. My town has a large plant that has hired and brought over a lot of filipino workers.

Pretty big community in the largest city near us to. Best part for me is i absolutely live the food.

Yeah for now I've given up on the idea locally. I think its an idea that has legs in the future maybe. Either way I'd want to be upfront about the bitcoin aspect at least to try and use knowledge and experience to cut down on the stigma
2371  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal want BTC $145 or £120 on: January 15, 2019, 03:27:59 PM
Sorry for the confusion. Yes i was referring to preev + 7.5%.

I am okay if you and jackg come to an arrangment, especially considering you have trade history. Let me know how it goes. Ill keep in touch either way
2372  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal want BTC $145 or £120 on: January 15, 2019, 03:01:12 AM
Vinsin - That's your opinion and my funds. If it weren't for account sellers helping to promote an incentive to hack accounts and falsely represent things on this forum, I could easily remove a layer or 2 of my concerns. You are always more than welcome to come up with your own deals with members of the forum however you wish.

So I've looked it all over. Considering you want the coins in wallet, which I can completely understand we will sort this out with no hold period. If it isn't held for 6 months any other length of time is irrelevant. On this condition I would want it sent using Friends and Family, my last check is that you can't fund F&F with credit card.

Points of clarification - will the PP funds be sent from the same account that sent to Jackg?

The day of the deal you sign a message from a staked address on the forum - Will find one later.

We will operate without escrow if the above conditions are met. Would you consider making arrangements of an assurance involving (what I consider to be your coins) the coins jackg will release to you on June 17th. In the case of a chargeback on this deal, Jackg would release me an equivalent amount of BTC on June 17. This would only be necessary if there was a chargeback on my trade, and not on Jackg's deal with you.

My terms for this would be 7.5% - I've come to this based on my other options for sale and the benefits I actually receive by going this route.

Let me know what you think of this. If Jackg wants nothing to do with this I am okay with that. I figure within 7 days from now I should have what you are looking for together.
2373  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal want BTC $145 or £120 on: January 14, 2019, 02:12:43 PM
Just getting off nightshift. Ill review everything and update you.

I would want to wait until i have the coins available before anyone sends anything.

Ill be in touch tonight sometime.
2374  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal want BTC $145 or £120 on: January 14, 2019, 12:20:39 PM
I don't think Darkstar_ will hold the paypal as escrow.

You're right, but that's also not at all what is expected of the escrow in this case. It's no different than the structure of the deal you were discussing with them.

2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: January 14, 2019, 10:57:33 AM
Great thread, nice to see some real discussion.

EDIT: I think I should've made this top self-moderated.

I'm guessing you've had to go hard on the "report to moderator" button to keep it this clean.

Where I live in Canada actually has nearly a 50% filipino population. Most have been her less than 3 years, they've come over for work and tend to stick around and bring their families over after a few years. The culture difference is neat, group everything, and super friendly/helpful.

I did try at one point to establish a connection in the Phillipines to create a Fiat/BTC money transfer for back home. Never did gt it going as some people here had those thoughts of scams or Ponzi, and others it was just tough to go through the language barrier. It did make me think that this is a great use for BTC to help people trying to send funds back home while working abroad.

2376  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling bitmain coupons on: January 14, 2019, 10:45:57 AM
Real or not it was beyond the timeframe I was looking. I really only came back to comment on the Escrow portion, so that anyone just reading the thread would also push for it before dealing with this user.

Good job looking out for people.

Sorry to say it looks like they've chosen to just ignore you. OP at the very least signed in on January 10.

Lot 13 - .0012 BTC Steamtyme
Lot 20 - .0015 BTC Steamtyme

I know you said US for the silver blank, any chance you'd hold one for a Canada shipment in case I win a lot. This way it would just be included in the package, not a shipment on it's own. Not a problem if not
2379  Economy / Reputation / Re: A very organised petty scam [I almost fell for it] on: January 14, 2019, 06:04:15 AM
Wasn't this a big deal mid 2017 with Twitter I think. It was with ETH and Vitalik, and something with Elon Musk at the time to.

It's funny ever since Oprah gave away cars everyone thinks celebs are just dolling out the dollars.
