I can quite relate to that especially after this happened to me. It is not that I was locked out from my account, but rather someone from other country posted a scam using my account without my awareness until feedbacks to my profile came along. From now on, I often check my IP logs here in the forum and from other accounts if someone is logged in from a sus IP that I know it does not belong to me.

I think regardless of the coin you convert at, you will still be taxed not sure if there would be difference but since it is all crypto coins then surely the same would still apply, OP.

Most newbies in the crypto currency space who are just learning trading are most times only fed with the profit side of crypto; once such newbie experience loss on trades; they get disappointed. The best thing while teaching newbies about trading is to educate them about the profits and loss side; so that when they are in profit they are grateful; when they are in loss; they know they will make the funds back.
What suggestions do you have ? how do you guide your newbie traders under your tutorship? do explain below lets learn.
Suggestions? If you are still like fresh new in trading, virtual trading would not hurt that much since you will surely still learn the ropes behind the indicators and TAs. Once you're familiarized already, do an actual trade already. You will learn more if you actually felt the "loss" rather than continuously doing virtual trading wherein you won't mind losing because it is not your money anyway.

But don't expect a lot from just simply earning many times. It is small in portions because volatility of the market doesn't go more than 2x of your capital. And not everybody is a fan of looking all day at TAs, Bollinger Band, RSI and and sorts of indicator you can think of. Not my cup of tea at the least.

OP seems to be inactive already since the day this thread was posted, so I think we can all now move on from this thread. I do not think theymos would do such, since OP isn't that established member unlike Lauda.

They're not the full indicators that a bounty project is still legitimate though, as they are not project investigator. Some would still manage bounties, but then they would just stop the bounty when something smells fishy. You cannot take back the time you wasted on that though, so still one should check on bounty projects first before posting your authentication/application there.

They believe that just because crypto is decentralized means that they should stay anonymous as well. They want to be like the next to Satoshi into going at least pseudonymous, while it does not apply the same to day because most of their tokens would be worthless anyway after the day their token got listed.

Still we are not sure yet though. Maybe 80k would be next ATH we will look upon soon? I felt that a lot sold off previously actually especially when it liked plummeted back a bit below 50k.

When compared to bitcoin and crypto investing with gambling, it does share a little bit of similarity. but crypto investing and slot gambling are still different. Maybe both have similar instruments, but their working systems are different. the increase in the price of a crypto investment is determined by the laws of the market economy (supply and demand). While slot gambling depends on luck. So, gambling and crypto investing are very different.
There is still a bit of luck included in crypto investment though. Its unstable price will show that. Though in most of the time, it is always to the supply and demand.

That is just equivalent as you giving money to strangers, OP. "Currently a risk"? That is plainly bs, because they just do not want to be tracked down in their exit scams. Not sure what project is that, OP but it is a red-flag for me already if you would ask me.

I had watched a lot of conspiracy theories about 'The Simpsons', like the prediction it made from its episodes and all those kinds of related stuffs. I highly doubt that they knew Satoshi even if you said that if Bitcoin price peaked, because there ain't peaks to be talked about in the first place anyway. Plus them explicitly telling that seems like just gag for me.

Creating jobs? We got full-time traders here in the market, not sure if there are contractual jobs though, but I am pretty sure there are social groups doing that, maybe not recognized or legalized business. Advance one's being? Seems like you are pointing the utilization of it. It does at some point, though I would say it would be the same level of advancement as credit cards since it involves cashless transaction. The only drawbacks for Bitcoin at that is the lack of adoption we still have. There ain't single physical merchants here in my area that offers payment through Bitcoin just yet. Benefits I saw? The value and the utilization of it, but again the adoption is still lacking in my area. While on the other side there are digital merchants I can reach to pay with Bitcoin anyway, so it doesn't matter that much. Types of people to be involved? Everyone, but I would appreciate if many merchants would step forward.

I fomo'd back in the days, but that was like 2 years ago already. Just put your mindset into investing when you have the extra money to do so. Don't just go invest whenever opportunity comes even if you are almost financially down.

These are all unidirectional prediction based on the image you posted. I would not just look on its price based on how much it increased throughout the month. A statistics of buyers against sellers and vice versa would be a good statistics in favor of the demand increase, though I am not fan of statistics.

If the stock market comes crashing down as some predict, what will you do with your alt coins? Swap them for BTC? I know that many view BTC as a safe haven (like digital gold) but historically, BTC prices have been positively correlated with the stock market. That said, in the case of an actual market crash, I think BTC could act like digital gold and appreciate since it's now more widely accepted as a "real thing" than ever... Perhaps just selling everything for USD and buying real gold would be best? What are your thoughts? TIA
My altcoins? It will go to BTC, even if I am a or not an altcoin investor. I was leaning to stock trading back then, but then I found out that Bitcoin is far more convenient for me to trade without going out of my house anyway. Not sure what you are saying that stock prices are positively correlated with BTC price though.

Mostly traders wouldn't want their money to be unstable, so they will just mostly put it in their preferred stablecoin. For Bitcoin, it is kinda mixed of both because not everyone is into Bitcoin and are just purely alt's investors. No wonder why some lower coins tend to get pumped from its low price.

Do not rely on people's opinions as a guide for your investment. Most of them will recommend their Shit coins for you to buy. Do a diligent research and select competent projects that can withstand the test of time for a long period.
Most of them are actually. They claim that they feel like X coin will go to the moon, but actually they're just promoting it for obvious reason. Hypes. It's common now actually to stumble upon them here in Altcoin Discussion claiming that they need investment advice.

I am seeing a lot of people here in crypto that they're really emotionally controlled when they do their trading or investment. I am not quite surprised if they even dumped their BTCs when the alts started to fall. Thing is people have different perception to what an opportunity and disaster is. Another one would be not investing their time researching as well.
