3741  Economy / Economics / Re: thoughts on companies becoming too powerful? on: July 26, 2019, 04:08:16 AM
I don't really mind it if they do not do anything bad to be honest. For example, back in the day standard oil was the biggest oil company in the world and they used this to change the pricing of oil to cheapest possible in one place making a big loss but then all other oil places went bankrupt couldn't fight with their pricing and then standard oil became monopoly of that place and spiked up the prices starting to make profit.

Hence, if you do bad things with your monopoly then I would say they are too powerful. However Disney literally gave us the biggest movie of all time with their purchase of Marvel, if you are going to become media giant and offer us great service then you are just becoming big because you deserve so. If you are like standard oil then you are too powerful, if you become like Disney then you deserve it.

Unfortunately people are not doing holding part that well. I can understand some traders willing to sell and even make a loss in order to go back in at a better position but there are way too many people selling their coins for no reason at all, those are the ones that hurt the price most, they panic sell and that causes bitcoin to go down uncontrollably since the price was expected to be drop a bit because of traders for example but than panic sellers start to sell and it goes down more and than more panic sellers join and it creates a wave until there is a buyer that is willing to buy at whatever it is dropped and cover all sellers amounts. Aside from that there is also the dumpers who are looking to just cash out and be done with bitcoin and those people get more crowded when price doesn't go up.
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: The market starts looking real nice in Q2, 2019 on: July 25, 2019, 08:44:53 AM
And it looks like it is not going to be looking great in Q3 right now. The sma200 and sma40 doesn't look flattering and the price has been going down and buyers have been keeping it from going down for now but in the end when buyers support wall gets eroded the reality is that we will start going down even more. We hoped that would happen for going higher because in the end if the price goes up higher than the halving is near so it could have gone even higher than that, just a bit of increase right about now would mean a lot more increase down the road.

Right now, we look like its trying to go down under 9k very hard and if it goes down then we may lose all this profit we had today to a big loss and may even go back down as low as 4k which would really hurt all we have come so far.
3744  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice.com – The World's Best Fully Featured Casino. Play or Invest! on: July 25, 2019, 08:08:07 AM
Many places do not do dynamic because most of the time that is a good income for these places, I know mintdice is not big enough to make a big amount of profit this way but everyone does it so its not weird to see them do it as well. Even binance charges 50k!! for their withdraws and they are the biggest exchange there is, so you know they are literally just spending like 100k satoshi for a big chunk of withdraw and sending 100's of withdraws all together or even if they do right away for someone they spend a lot less.

Hence, it is not about just mintdice the whole corporations of crypto world are doing high withdraw rates just in case, they are both profiting from it a lot but also they are putting up this big defense wall where even if the withdraw fee's becomes huge all of a sudden they are still charging you a lot so they are fine.

Realistically speaking how can animations could possibly ever had to do with the results?
I mean do people really think that those animations are for real? Are they like thinking the animations are the results?

It is all psychological. If you played any card game in real life you'd understand.

A very close example I can show is from a TV show:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UB3lDxbjAz4

Minute 3.

When things don't go as you wished, any small detail is going to stand out.

I wish it was possible to turn it off.
A new deck is totally different than animation. Animation has nothing to do with the actual result whereas deck is literally the only thing that decides on the results. If the deck gets cold for you and similar cards keeps popping up it is normal that you can assume it is not your time and request a fresh deck to see if that will work when shuffled properly.

However, it is still psychological and wouldn't change the result that much it is still the deck that you are dealt with so it has something to do with your cards whereas animations are literally just for show, the result happens behind the curtains and then animations show the result after it is decided, so it is not like animation while moving makes any sense, it could very well just show the result instead as a picture instead of animation and it would have been the same.

You do not actually need your computer to be on 7/24 if you want to test for a short period of time. There are VPS solutions like amazon that can give you some free time to test and you can open couple of accounts as well with different mail addresses which means you can test the downloadable ones.

Moreover, it takes more time and it is definitely easier to just use one that is always online for you but do not forget that its also a lot more riskier. If you are giving your information to a place for you to trade and there are hundreds of people like you that does the same thing then one hacker can hack that place and even if they can't withdraw via api they will at least do pump and dump using your money. Hence downloabale solutions are actually safer if you want to try.

Imo it's more about the matchup between each conference if you look at the sixers and bucks they have an easier way to the finals than the rockets since they have to go through the lakers, clippers, warriors and others. With the current odds they're like the 4th team with the highest chance of winning next to them are the warriors to me it's accurate enough. If nitrogensports suddenly thinks the odds are unfair they could just void those bets but they won't since the odds from pinnacle are usually accurate and on other bookies you could see it go even lower because they have a higher vig than nitro.
Just because you can reach the finals doesn't mean you will make a difference, just because of last year we have
forgot the reality that east is weaker than west, now the last years championship teams FINALS mvp also moved to west as well. East is really too weak and any team that makes to finals will definitely lose unless there is once again huge injuries yet again.

Let's be honest, Warriors would have destroyed and even sweeped Raptors if they had 5 healthy players and put out curry-klay-durant-dray-cousins roster however there was plenty of injuries.

So, if the odds are "these will make it to finals probably because they are on east and if there is any injury they have a shot" than it makes no sense, it should be the better team above the worse team and conference shouldn't matter since we all remember vividly how warriors sweeped Cavs only a year ago.
3749  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: July 20, 2019, 05:21:52 PM
Buy back at this stage could be dangerous too though. I mean if you are going to list the token on an exchange and then buy from there then it is fine but if you are going to just buy back directly then it might hurt the economy since if only the team owns bet tokens then there is nobody really looking for dividends all they are trying to achieve is to give it back to the team after gambling. It would become rakeback at that point.

Hence, I think the open market would be a lot better, with binance we will be capable of selling or buying and that would decide on a market price that is fair and accepted by everyone since we run the market, if the team decides to buy from that price then its fine because people are willing to sell from that price themselves and they can't argue about it.
3750  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice.com – The World's Best Fully Featured Casino. Play or Invest! on: July 19, 2019, 04:57:11 PM
It is a common thing that players from USA getting warning from casinos, it is illegal to play from USA and casinos are responsible on not to allow them to play, they need to do everything in their power to prevent USA players to play.

If they did everything in their power and you still play there as an american they have a right to ban you as well. It is just governments decision and it has nothing to do with the casinos itself, casinos would love to get people from all around the world, the more people wager the more money they would make but since government bans it they do not want to go up against the gigantic government of USA, that is why they do what they are told. The guilt is on the government not on the casino itself so do not blame them for something that the government forces them to do.
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins? on: July 19, 2019, 04:25:56 PM
I honestly use USDT but unwillingly. I need to cash out time to time and I do not want to put them all into cash in my bank account, I want them to be cash but also stay on the exchange as well and that can only happen with USDT for now, there are some other ones but the biggest volume is on the USDT so if I use that it makes my life easier.

Even though I hate them and even though I want them to fail and everyone to show how crooked those tether dudes are, I also really need them. I hope one day something a lot more legit is created and used everywhere, there are plenty of stable coins out there but none of them have the volume of USDT and that seems to be the issue for me, I wish other stuff like USDC would get more attention and volume so we can all switch to that instead.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: July 19, 2019, 11:36:39 AM
It is not safe actually. People do not realize this fact but if every single person in the world wanted to cash out their tether to either dollar directly or even bitcoin, tether company will not be able to cover all of it. First of all they do not have cash that can cover even half of it, they do not posses that much cash at all, they have very few amount just to keep some people happy that want to cash out but not many of them.

On top of that they have a lot of investments to stable things like bank interests and simple stocks and bonds etc all over the world so they would have to sell them, and even after that they do not have 1 to 1 ratio anymore. So long story short tether is very dangerous and is a ponzi, if we all end up trying to get our tether we will realize that the real value of tether is 0.7 cents on 1usdt not 1 dollar.
3753  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: July 19, 2019, 10:11:57 AM
Look this is bitcoin and it is volatile, there is nothing you can do about that, the price will sometimes go double even triple of what it is in matter of a month and then one day it will go down 20% in a single day as well, there is really no way of knowing which one will happen so you gotta just hope for the best.

If you can actually live with that then sure go ahead and jump into crypto and do whatever you want, this is a trillion dollar world and you can actually carve a space for yourself here, anyone can. If you fear that you are going to lose money and can't be part of something risky then this is not for you. I have lost a lot of money in crypto but I also made a lot as well so instead of focusing on the bad days (like right now Cheesy.) I focus on the good days which I had plenty of as well.
3754  Economy / Economics / Re: Bomb Token, Runescape Partyhats and Rubber Turkeys — A Game of Scarcity & Desire on: July 19, 2019, 08:51:36 AM
You may consider miners to be bots in the game as well.

Yeah, some of us make some bitcoins here and there by working hard and trading etc but the miners are making much more bitcoin than any other demographic so we can assume in the game you might make some money and make some profits but in the end bots are going to make much more than any other as well.

So, in parallel to real life and bitcoins that makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that there are centralized currencies in crypto world as well like ripple and bitcoin cash however if they did anything to hurt their own economy then the price would fall and people would move to other crypto currencies whereas in runescape if developers decide to print more of an item players will just move to another item in the same game instead of moving to another game.
3755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Stop Loss Mistakes To Avoid on: July 18, 2019, 07:07:13 PM
I think this one misses the most important one out there. "Put a stop loss" Cheesy. I know that should not be here and it is kind of a joke and this is for people who have stop loss and should know how to use it, however there are so many people who do not have stop loss that I think we should focus on that first.

If you have no stop loss then when bitcoin moves down a lot you are in big danger, you are literally throwing away a big chunk of your money if you do not put a stop loss under a certain number of price because there are trends and if the price breaks a certain level then you have to sell it under that level (just under it) in order to not get bitten by the big drop on the price. If you do not do that then none of this matters to begin with, these are important only after you learn to put a stop loss.

It is a noble gesture that shrimpy actually made a list where they are the third instead of first. In a world where everyone wants to be the number one and everyone claims they are by far the best, a list they make themselves and put them on the third spot is actually a great show of character.

I am pretty sure shrimpy is third because they are newer compared to others on that list, with time goes by they will get higher and higher on that list and reach top spot eventually. Not just because I believe in their project, I don't know them, never used them before in my life neither, I just like them because they create amazing articles and they post them here all the time creating very heavy discussions which means they constantly get great attention thanks to their blog writer.
3757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want trade by bot what do you think are you with bots or not on: July 18, 2019, 05:11:52 PM
want trade by bot what do you  think  are you with bots or not
i have idea to link my bot to indicators like rsi example if it hit 20 buy if   hit 60 sell something like this
I think bots are working towards one goal and that is making trading automatic, not profitable. Now you can of course profit with your trading bot and there are now ones that makes sure you do reverse purchases as well and so forth in order to make money even during bear days however no matter how much they improve it, if the market is shitty the profits will be shitty too and you will end up losing money.

However, if the market is already good then you can make a decent profit manually as well. What bots are giving you as a chance that they have zero emotions and you put in indicators and it just works like that 7/24 without stopping so there is a chance you make more profit than you normally would doing it manually. Its a time saver not a money making machine.
3758  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: July 18, 2019, 04:36:24 PM
I would suggest everyone to take a look at the price when it first comes out. There will be a lot of people dumping their bet tokens there and that would mean the price will fall a lot during the early moments when it gets listed. When that drop happens try to find the  bottom, I know it will be hard to figure out the bottom but when everything is said and done and months go by from the first day it will get higher and higher because this token has a purpose unlike any other and people will be looking to buy more and more in order to get more and more dividends.

It means during the early days if you buy from cheap prices then you can either collect the dividends for a lot cheaper than others or you would be making a ton of profit selling it after couple of months when price reaches its peak.
3759  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: July 18, 2019, 06:19:00 AM
Getting a Watford jersey with sportsbet.io on it would be really huge, I never thought about a giveaway type of deal but I am pretty sure it would be a hell to make sure all jerseys reach to their destinations and at the same time you have to consider the size issue as well.

You may have noticed something like this before but when you go out to shopping at places and want to buy a shirt, in some places you can fit into xl size, in some places it is 2xl and in others it is just large, so you are the same guy with same size all day but in 3 different shops you fit into 3 different sizes. Now if they decide to give away 100 jerseys for example, that means finding the right size for 100 people, calculating all the waist, shoulder, chest etc sizes to find the right fit, then giving it to cargo company and following if everyone received it and if they do then find out if it did actually fit. That is a lot of work.
3760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hope for the best, Expect the worst on: July 17, 2019, 03:49:47 PM
I think the clear winner would be going back up, not just because SMA but also the trends in bitcoin of when people sell and what needs to happen for people to sell whereas same goes for buy as well. We have seen bitcoin dropping to just under 10k only last week and then it reached back above 12k as well, it happened before as well, so all in all it is totally expected for bitcoin to do the same thing, I am not saying it has to, I am not saying it definitely will but looking at the previous things its quite possible for bitcoin to do the same thing again because there is no reason why it shouldn't.

Of course, it could still go down a bit more before going up because the more whales accumulate and the more they have in usdt and cash it means the more ammunition they will have to attack the tops and get back to high prices.
