Also, for folks keeping track of sandwiches, we went by a delightful local establishment today for some of the best cheeseburgers in the county. I've been wanting to eat dem burgers for about a year now and hadn't found the time or timeliness (they close at 2PM) to do so. I've got a lot of network work to do in the next few days but by early next week I hope to have a stickminer buck ironed out and get a good lead on PCB design at least for the Compac. We're still working on figuring out what to do about more chips, but there's probably time.

Be interesting to see how many more people are involved. I know that the was a contract for shills to promote HashFast posted it up in the past. Shouldn't be that hard to track these people. Probably subpoena this forum be a good idea the logs will clear show enough.

I am not sure what miners you are talking about, but as far as i know they are just a shop which orders from other companies who make a deal with them to sell miners.
Never seen them have own brand miners in shop.
I think you ordered one miner which probably was from a company which disappeared.
Their are plenty which was going to deliver in feb. but went offline or never answer if you mail them
Worth mentioning that Technobit had a deal where you could trade them Black Arrow chips and get an assembled Black Arrow board with a couple fewer chips. This was back in July and they claimed they'd be shipping in a couple weeks. Minersource did a deal where they traded a lot of the Black Arrow orders they owed but couldn't get because Black Arrow couldn't seem to ship anything not crappy and/or explosive. As far as I know, though, Minersource never had money from that, they simply traded chips from Black Arrow to Technobit. As far as I know no one on that deal got any hardware ever. Supposedly there were some bad parts put on the boards, which caused the initial delay. Our hosting center should have had quite a few of the Technobit boards, and we even offered Technobit to do the repair for free on the boards that should have come here. They talked with us a bit then never said anything to us after. They had plenty of stock and have shipped the same boards to other people, but for some reason I haven't heard of one of the orders through that big Minersource trade going through. I wouldn't deal with them after seeing this. Everything above is as far as I know- and I didn't order anything from them so that might not be too far, but we were discussing helping them fill that minersource order, possibly doing more than just the assembly on boards to be hosted here- and they suddenly went dark on us, all while their website claimed they had the exact same boards in stock and shipping. -- novak Never had a problem with Technobit. I converted my Black Arrow chips to 2Hex4M miners thru the Minersource deal. Happy with them. I for example, Im waiting fron Xmas to get my money. He does rather love a wall of RED TEXT if I remember. He usually just ignores you and steals your money and says it is your fault because you used red bold text. Sounds legit and legal right? |

So not only are you giving wrong data to the ECC, you constantly lied about shipping data and sent items. I am over 14 weeks without that hardware now.

 Paid shill 'Cypherdoc' won't keep the BITCOIN paid to him by HashFast. That is good news and warning to shills.Heads up people who shill for bitcoin or other currency you might get sued. We can only hope that this happens maybe then some people in these forums might start thinking twice about their allegiances to scam companies. So, what is the difference to creditors between the liquidation trust they keep talking about (staying in chapter 11) vs. changing to chapter 7 and liquidating? IOW, what value does this liquidation trust being advocated add to the creditors, when it sounds like all hard assets are gone?
The current lawyers have identified parties who money can be recovered from for various reasons or erroneous claims which could be disputed. For example 'Cypherdoc' the forum user that was pumping Hashfast has been identified and it is know he was paid 3000 Bitcoin to promote the company. He is still holding 3,000 bitcoin and a lawsuit has been filed against him to have it returned to creditors. That would be close to a million dollars in recovery right there. At the same time there are some people who have file questionable claims and those could be disputed which would increase the amount paid out to legitimate claims. If we vote down the plan and the case converts to chapter 7 we don't know that whomever the court appoints would bother pursuing the claims against people like cypherdoc at all. |

I am still missing 2 BA X1 Miners from them.
Their site is down.
I know BA is saying Minersource never paid them and actualy screwed BA over by convincing a Customer Service Employee to send them hardware.
Is there a class action lawsuit against them?

I am a little lost now on what to do? Lucky I paid for the 2nd order with Cash so I would get cash back vs the first order I payed with BTC witch I received.

I hope youre not thinking of a pre-ordering more of this Chinese junk hardware. Now if they ship from stock maybe people will bite.. Thankfully they haven't even mentioned pre-orders...or any much details other than announcing their tape-out. Patience is a scarce commodity, but why not wait for more information and act on that, rather than going on the offensive (in more than one definition of that word) straight away? They are not begging for pre-order cash. They built decent miners in the past. Delivered and not much of fuss was given or angry customers heard so until they have something to sell they are still a reasonably reliable bet to deliver something. Will it be viable money wise to own that equipment? Doubtful. |

Seems to me you haven't ordered anything from HC at all.
Why would anyone buy from these extremely shady hardware resellers especially after they were caught lying about their hardware specs? Bitcoin mining is already risky enough. Preordering nonexistent hardware from likely scammers is just idiotic. You know... that is all we want people to understand there is just too much risk in such a "purchase". It would be nice to see less people even entertain the idea of buying from shady companies especially when you can get things in stock or used for a fair and reasonable price currently. It makes ZERO sense waiting on this company. |

Just wanted to add a few thoughts.
I'm a small time miner that is running 6 sp20e and 2 sp10's. I got rid of all my antminers to stick with SP-Tech after the success and ease I experienced with my first SP10.
Lately one of my SP20e's developed a problem that baffled support@SP-Tech enough that Zvi had to get involved. He spent a good 40 minutes working with me to resolve the problem, with a great attitude and the patience to explain what he was doing at each stage and answering my questions. I don't think there are too many other lead engineers that would spend that kind of time and effort on a small customer!
So, I'm even more impressed and extremely satisfied with Sp-Tech and just wanted to share my experience. With support like this, I'm sure I'll find space for the "industrial" class miner out next.

Are they still selling? Look at the groupbuys subforum Not the one making the suggestion. I know where to look but given that section is dead except for PCFLI and Canary hawking some non-miner wallet I am going to say no need to bother unless Biffa thinks there is a lot of volume lately not indicated in the group buy section but somewhere else. Looks like the market is drying up. |

Question is if the chips continue down the Spondoolies like path there would be no "simplicity" left since all future chips would be geared to a larger more powerful board. So that dead ends this project unless you are willing to adapt to those types of chips. No one is going to be able to compete (those who would be willing to sell chips) with Spondoolies if the trend continues as they seem to be ahead since they have the team. It is doubtful that a new Avalon or Bitmain chip will be able to compete given the claims of Spondoolies next chip. Meaning this is probably the last chip iteration from Avalon and Bitmain will definitely be very careful not to finance a losing chip.

Entirely possible, but I think maybe a little more unlikely than you make it out to be. Spondoolies is doing very well right now but several of their design decisions really up the price on any design using their chips. Sure, right now they're cleaning house with their rockerbox stuff stacking up well against an S5 (if not really the BM1384), and everyone loves them as their support is second to none- but the required components on a Spondoolies miner besides the chips are typically more expensive than a design which uses smaller chips with standard protocols (basically all other companies). We'll have to see if they continue killing off the competition, I can't imagine that they have lower parts cost per hashrate. Then again, the quality support they provide goes a long way. -- novak I hope I am wrong. Like to see smaller units for everyone I just don't think Spondoolies is likely to screw the pooch so badly they don't put out a killer B2B offering that would likely sink the consumer market. Bitmain may need to hire some more chip designers. Who knows. Great to see your progress guys keep at her. Can't wait to see what you guys do eventually produce. So many good people have got tripped up on the chips just being in hand I hope nothing funny happens. Bitfury was a really nasty twist when they cut off chip sales. |

Also,IF YOU EVER GET THEM  Forget BlackArrow   We never received the samples they promised even after giving them a heads up on some design errors in the chip and that was before the shit hit the fan with them. Best to avoid anyone with a history of screwing over the community. The USB gekko is building is stepping stone I think to something a tad bigger.
