1441  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 11, 2014, 01:50:27 AM
Not sure I understand what 'fragmentary results' you would like to see?
It would be best for you if you've reviewed the posts from bitfury. It was his first ASIC and he went directly into full custom. See how he dealt with disbelievers. You can just read his English posts although his detractors were mostly posting in Russian and his responses were in Russian too.

Basically, we want to see that there is a real technical depth in your organization. What we don't want to see is another Cointerra, where the "dream team" was really part-timers that quickly disassociated themselves from the CEO and the only technical person left was some German guy on a temporary visa in the USA.

Your post, while quite good overall, essentially looks like a case study done by an MBA student.

Edit: You can also review Spondoolies-Tech posts. The forum account is mostly manned by a their CEO, who isn't afraid to admit that he doesn't understand some technical issues, but is always capable of delegating the Q/A to an appropriate person within his organization.

Edit2: some grammar fixes

You might want to start showing your cards technically you are clearly losing the PR war. Time to listen to 2112 and show the slide-rules what you really have if you have anything that is. Pretty documents are one thing having some clear "results" that the engineers here can pour over and determine if you have a viable concept or not is what you have to do now. No one on these boards is going to give you a pass. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence was a phrase made popular by Carl Sagan let us see what evidence you can provide.

Thanks for the help Bick.  These guys at BFL need to be taken to the mat.

Arm bar submission?
1443  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Product Failures / Underperformance. on: June 10, 2014, 04:16:52 PM
Just admit BFL is dead. Say it get it off your chest you know you want to say it.

I wish. They're more like a zombie. Latest Josh fail:

The eventual solution will probably be a new version of the board

Another board revision! There goes any chance of shipping in June.

Thread automatically updated every 20 second(s). <--- LOL... need to take faster snap shots so things don't disappear on the BFL boards... was reading... refresh 5 posts just disappeared LOL!

Any numbers on the Pickaxe chips yet Spondoolies? Kind of more interested in what Spondoolies does here vs. AM chips and AM based hardware.

We don't have $27M.

Doesn't explain why you need 3 batches of preorders.

Would 1 batch of preorders not be enough to fund the next 2 batches?

Quote
The execution risk is virtually non existent.
The two other risks - BTC price and hash-rate are not under our control.

Virtually nonexistent seems a bit optimistic.  Regardless the other two risks
are unnecessary and you could choose to avoid them by selling in stock.

Did you actually read what the guy from Spondoolies posted?

Seriously is he lying to you? Read the whole thing and comment don't cherry pick it.
He explains. I think you can measure if he is telling the truth on those facts right?

They sell units based on the same calculations each time... so if they do it more than once or twice or thrice same reason.

Seriously I get you want to warn people off of the pre-orders. I agree but you are not accepting their explanation what more do you want?

Code:
Already explained multiple times in the thread before. Will explain once again.
Put execution risk aside - the RockerBox / SP30 is a simple project. Die Shrink, same miner
concept as the SP10. The execution risk is virtually non existent.
The two other risks - BTC price and hash-rate are not under our control.

Why we can't finance in stock SP30:

Assume the following (not exact figure, just to get the idea):

- 3 months lead time on the ASICs and other long lead time components
- SP30 BOM (without NRE) is $3,000
- Each month we want to produce 3,000 miners

We don't have $27M. Each customer can do his/her own calculation regarding the
BTC and has-rate risks and decide whether they want to take it or not.
1446  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Product Failures / Underperformance. on: June 10, 2014, 07:15:20 AM
It is FACT 6000+ PayPal complaints.

It is FACT 283 FTC complaints.

BFL agreed tacitly to those figures and didn't argue it.

So what about the current numbers of complaints and lawsuits and claimants BCP?

Are you saying everything is ok in BFL land? Are customers happy? You yourself sold off your Monarch orders.

How about we tell the truth. BFL is dead. They won't get this unit out the door you know it. This is the end for them. They won't make another miner they can't compete with Chinese or Israeli teams building and designing working units at this point you know it is over right?

Why not admit it?

Just admit BFL is dead. Say it get it off your chest you know you want to say it.
1447  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: June 10, 2014, 07:01:43 AM
Like whom, you mean?

Could be bitfury, asicminer, avalon, bitmain, innosilicon, knc, blackarrow or maybe a company that has yet to reveal itself.

Could be.

Given what Spondoolies has put out and given they meet deadlines... are you willing to wait if waiting is the option for a July or August miner from the competition? Will it be as good as a SP30? Hmmm tricky to say the least. Space / density etc have start playing on the operators now. You really have to wonder is worth all the cabling and stack vs a single box? Cooling? Power? Doing things at home is pretty much dead and the game is moving into ever larger and larger operations. I don't see how 100s of small designed rigs can keep paces with these Spondoolies designs space wise.

It is a risk. I agree don't buy pre-orders. Unfortunately I didn't even listen to myself and I jumped on the 2 x SP30s for August that I bought against the rule NEVER DO PRE-ORDERS. Love the Spondoolies team and all but it is a risk. Don't do it unless you know you can afford to lose every penny. That is only safe way to think about it. It is even more of risk to purchase other fabricators given the history.
1448  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: June 10, 2014, 02:09:31 AM
So you jumped ship eh...

Let us see did you get a refund from Josh direct? Or did you pawn off your worthless order on some other person?

You are the lowest of the low.

Marto go pay your debts before you make any more accusations buddy. You crook.
1450  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AMT fucks us over again on: June 09, 2014, 05:07:08 PM
Might want to check how many people are still asking for money from Marto there Loshia. You can't really expect people to give a shit about your claims when you don't give a shit about their claims right? Hypocrite.

Pay off your debt Marto. Crook.

Before posting, please make sure you read these subforum guidelines.

The prior history of this thread was split off after it devolved into more noise than signal.

BFL ASIC Status (link provided by SLoK)

Upon reflection? Not enough noise apparently in 2014 people are still getting scammed.
1453  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Product Failures / Underperformance. on: June 09, 2014, 04:35:39 PM
I just had another Jalapeno trip the current protection on my power supply.

That makes it the third unit to do this.

You will be happy to know that you some how had the EXTREME misfortune of receiving 3 units that fell into the <2% failure rate, unless of course you bought 150 units then ok my apologies your within the BFL official failure rates.

Let me clear up a few points here real quick:

[BFL stole nothing. Unless someone can provide some proof to the contrary, they are lying.
BFL has scammed no one. Unless someone can provide proof to the contrary, they are lying. (Go on, ask for proof from the trolls claiming scams, you'll never get it.)
BFL gave refund for over six months past the estimated shipping date. BFL only stopped giving refunds after shipping started. Anyone who tells you differently is lying.
There was no promised shipping date for the Monarch line and in fact there were big bold text stating that it is a preorder and subject to delay. Anyone who tells you the Monarch is late and that BFL made promises on delivery time is lying.
]BFL has shipped over 50,000 products in the 65nm line. The failure rate is less than 1% (0.72%) not including power supplies.  If you include power supplies, that goes to 1.65%.  Far lower than industry average and a simply awesome (lack of) failure rate. Contrast to the other mining companies equipment, which has double digit failure rates and it's even better.  Anyone who tells you differently is lying.[/li][/list]
OP's experience is the norm. People rarely come to a forum to post when they have a positive experience, they usually come and post to complain. After 50,000 units shipped and you look at the complaints, that should tell you something.  Most people are not complaining, just a handful of disgruntled people and a whole lot of trolls who aren't even customers.[/li][/list]
The only people who get rude responses from me are people who initiate a conversation with rudeness or lies. Go on, ask one of the trolls to provide proof to the contrary, you won't find it.  The secret is being respectful and polite and you get the same in return.  Be an asshole and you get the same in return... funny how that works.

        [/list]

Over 6000+ complaints to PayPal and the FTC... Trolls indeed.
1454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AMT fucks us over again on: June 09, 2014, 04:30:03 PM
What about those people who are owed by Marto Loshia? You don't seem to give a rats ass about them.
1455  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I'm starting to get fucking pissed (BFL) on: June 09, 2014, 04:28:50 PM
My advice: get a refund and don't look back.
My advise is - Unite and go to the court. It is US company after all. Where is American justice on the movies only or? I am pretty dam sure that there will be a plenty of lawyers interested in such big case we are talking for millions. When they see a REAL i repeat A !REAL! thread about their business and personalities things will start to move in a right direction FAST!

Remember - You have to unite first and act as ONE otherwise you are going to loose for SURE

        Best
        PS:
I can bet if all of you fire a claim worth for millions for preordes and another one 10xMilions for lost profits you will be rewarded with a lot of free units and all other fancy stuff coming from BFL. But i doubt it will happen because here everyone watches his own interest only and there is no community spirit at all. I might be wrong about the lack of spirit and i do really want to be ...only time will tell

What the people who got burned by Marto should do as well.
1456  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs ( BFL ) Official Issue Thread on: June 09, 2014, 04:17:35 PM
I will do what I can to compile as much as I can from the threads available and list all the relevant links and send you a PM with the working document. I hope others will come forward to help with this and finally puts BFL out of business.

Have a look in that mirror next time you judge others Loshia. Might not like what you see.
1459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AMT fucks us over again on: June 09, 2014, 12:08:13 PM
Seem to sure find a way to forgive other people who steal there eh Loshia? You turn a blind eye to your friends who don't deliver or pay off what they owe. What gives you any moral right to comment given you can't even stand up and be counted when others are ripped off plain as day by your buddies right? Hypocrite.
