I'm a professional proofreader/editor, if you're interested in someone that can take all of the articles and make them flawless, Smiley.
642  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Chasing The Eye - Extreme Storm Chasing on: January 07, 2017, 11:43:25 PM
I'm with the others. If you're a BTC user and holder, you already get a benefit out of bringing awareness. I'm not seeing why you want US to pay YOU to benefit YOURSELF. That's backwards.

Maybe a better idea is to do all of that stuff as it is, and THEN ask for donations.

And I'm a bit confused about something... you have your own show but get nothing out of it? What's the point, then?
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RAWX altcoin exchange (former mcxNOW) | LAUNCHED ON AUGUST 7 on: January 07, 2017, 11:29:15 PM
RealSolid scammed again?
What's happened to this exchange?

Supposedly it will be returning sometime in 2017. The claim was that regulation has taken its toll and they want to get registered/do everything by the book. Hard to tell if this is true, though... basically, owner went on vacation, things went stagnant, owner returns to announce shutdown/reopen later.

646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~MMOs ~Poker ~ 20+ Servers~ShapeShift.io ~RPG +More! on: January 02, 2017, 08:15:08 PM
is there any chance of hyper coming back?

a nice idea has been stomped into the ground

Do u mean my idea? :p and i think there are chances that hyper is comming back but everyone needs to work together
Everyone just need to do where they are good at for me its gaming / servers / crypto
So who could create an new better altcoin? something like hyper 2.0?
then we need an leader i could try to be an leader because of my many time and my gaming knowledge
but i dont know if i could hold it if not then i give the private key on someone else
so what for example if we give each person a job for example like

Me: Leader Gaming manager and server thing
Another person: 2th Leader (helping me and other persons) (also knows the private key and help in the bitcointalk thread)
Another person: Wallet maker / updater / coder
Another person: Thread / toppic maker / designer
Another person: Modders / coders (to make plugins / mods for games to payout in hyper)
Another person: Social media mananger / advertiser / promote the coin

Good idea?
Then we have like a team working on it so if everyone maybe could say what they want to do in the hyper project we maybe could relaunch hyper 2.0 Wink

One of the issues wasn't just keeping the games online, but bringing new players. I personally kept l4d2 alive a lot of the time and spent some time in CS:GO helping out, but even so, when I'd leave for more than a few hours they'd die off again.
647  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get Real Referrals For ANY Bitcoin Related Website on: January 02, 2017, 08:12:35 PM
are you giving out another voucher?

I'd like to take one and report stats of course.

Ok, i will give you a vouch membership as well.

There will be no more vouch memberships given.

Please send me a pm with the link you want promoted and i will get it setup and i will reply with a tracking link when it is ready.

Kind of funny that I toss up the idea (and offer) and am the only one not chosen, :p.

Anyways, GL with this guys! I'm dipping out.

I vote B2 as well.
649  Economy / Economics / Re: Price Matters... And Here's Why on: January 01, 2017, 08:13:01 PM
Well, if the US Stock market is any evidence of anything atm, it's that it doesn't matter the size/market cap, it can be manipulated. We've seen single entities break central banks. A larger market cap isn't going to solve this issue by any means. It might make the threshold higher, but believe me, there will always be someone there to control it, no matter the size. There will always be volatility, & large deep-pocketed players.

Imo, the only way Bitcoin warrants a larger market cap is if it doesn't hold enough value to keep things moving. I feel like Bitcoin has become a niche passion that people dump money into "knowing" it will go "to da moon". It's a self fulfilling prophecy. This is the behavior that causes this cycle at the end of the day.

Luckily, there's more people accepting wages, paying taxes, & buying goods/services with btc now than ever. As long as this continues, bitcoin will start to be used more and more from it's true intended purpose. Wallstreet is weaseling it's way into bitcoin though, I can promise as the market cap grows, so will the players involved.

At the moment (and for bitcoins small history) there has been a severe imbalance of speculators versus users. The truth of the matter is that not a single person here is not trying to profit from BTC, it's a self fulfilling prophecy in that everyone here thinks it's going to the moon, so we all buy and it just happens to go to the moon... Tongue Tulip bubble anyone? Just because we perceive it valuable doesn't mean it's actually supposed to be THAT valuable.

Whether we like it or not, Bitcoins true value comes from escaping capital controls. Without it, (say if China decided it's pulling the plug tomorrow) it would be much less appetizing to our eastern counterparts and alot of the demand we are seeing at the moment would cease to exist, same with India... At the end of the day, we are all piggy backing off of the panic of capital controls from other countries, mixed with speculators speculating. It's the perfect storm, and I am taking full advantage Tongue

PS that doesn't mean I'm not participating in the fun though, I just use human psychology to my advantage.

Technically, your claim, then, is that BTC is a Ponzi scheme (in that its purpose is to go "to da moon"), rather than a currency. A currency just needs to be unmanipulated to resolve its purpose (though we could argue that even fiat is manipulated heavily, as it technically is, but in a different way).
650  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get Real Referrals For ANY Bitcoin Related Website on: January 01, 2017, 07:12:40 PM
Nope, still nothing. I do wait for that vouch copy which s been promised, its NY so delay s understandable. We ll see in a day or two.

I'd just be patient. He's not around every day but is usually fairly responsive when he does come around.

Do you have knowledge on how to actually analyze the results, btw? Keep in mind you're not just looking at what you see on the landing sites themselves (as that can all be faked/fabricated easily to give a false impression of having real users), but the traffic itself.
651  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FREE Bitcoin Websites Directory Project [400+ Websites Listed & 200+ Registered] on: January 01, 2017, 06:40:46 PM
Hey there! Do you happen to have Analytics reports for the site? I'd love to consider a VIP addition to our site but having a holistic look at your stats would be essential for gauging the value of this.
652  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ad network sites on: January 01, 2017, 06:35:29 PM
It is rather useless to use all the best advertising services if your faucet isn't going to maintain some decent traffic, there are already thousands of faucets but none of them are successful in long term not even short term.
Best thing to do is to first respect and value your visitor's time and effort by paying amounts even if you are paying from your pocket but when you had enough loyal visitors then you can lower  the payouts.
Lets be honest if it was you would you keep claiming in a faucet if it wasn't worth your time?

Faucets aren't meant to get income on their own. They're a pillar of businesses, which most site owners neglect to realize. You don't use them to earn money, you use them to drive traffic to your OTHER businesses that have income potential.
653  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info-Confirmation taking too much time on: January 01, 2017, 06:34:04 PM
So it all depends on the trending fees, right?
But why is the fees dynamic?
Can't we just fix the fees?
On what all things does it depend on?

Fees depend on how much others are willing to pay. Essentially, it uses a "bidding war" system. The blocks right now are full, so what happens is you and I both want our transaction in it. The system asks how much we'll pay to be added. You say 0.01 and I say 0.009. It says "well, he's paying 0.001 more so I'm giving him that slot." As more bidders come in and raise the price, the average goes up. As blocks get cleared through, the price lowers again as there's no reason for me to offer that 0.009 if there's no competition.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Price Matters... And Here's Why on: January 01, 2017, 06:31:32 PM
Of course the price matters, one of the reason people interested in bitcoin because the price is keep on rising and it is very valuable, that is why bitcoin being used for trading and currency, it is impossible people will interested if the coin got no value

This thread was resurrected from long ago, but it was posted because at that point in time, the general consensus was that the price of BTC was completely irrelevant since it's a "currency" and not a store of value (therefore, if you want to send $100, it doesn't matter if it's worth 0.01 or 1000 BTC since all you're doing is fiat <--> BTC anyways). It was to help set people straight on the proper way to look at it.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: January 01, 2017, 06:28:29 PM
How's Moneypot going? I only read up until the argument with Alex Sad
Anything new other than that? Can't wait for API v2

Happy New Year btw!

There will be a lot of good news coming in to the beginning of the new year, Smiley. And happy new year to you as well!
656  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BubblesBit Monthly Wager Contest(.5BTC top prize) on: December 30, 2016, 12:17:05 PM
End Game Time For this Monthly Wagered Contests Around 44 Hours. Still enough of time to take the lead in this contest, Goodluck.
Current Leaderboard list :

Being first prize 0.5 BTC, if my math is not wrong, this numbers mean we may wager up to 50BTC in a +EV way.

You're absolutely right! As long as it takes less than 50 BTC to get it, you're betting in a +EV game at that point. As soon as it hits 50, it's equalized. But right now it is VERY +EV.
657  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: confused a bit in cloud mining on: December 30, 2016, 09:34:33 AM
Unless you are planning to build something like the bitcoin mine pictured below you are very late in the mining game.

Don't agree with you. Single antminer s9 will roi in few months. With BTC price increasing even small miners now are making great profit. For how long it will last idk but it's also great time for scam websites to advertise too

Don't forget the risks such as unstable bitcoin price and bitcoin mining difficulty keep rising, also don't forget that electricity fee as well.

Also things like maintenance and the fact that you don't know how long the hardware will last. It could last days, weeks, months, or years. All of these are extra unknown variables that can increase risk.
658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info-Confirmation taking too much time on: December 30, 2016, 09:33:34 AM
Setting the fees too high will just serve to drive up the required/suggested fees for the following blocks.

It shouldn't impact much, really. The blocks are 1k kilobytes (or 1 MB) as of late. A single transaction, assuming "average" size of 200 bytes, would be less than 1/5,000th of this size. If everyone is using the normal fee, you'd have to pay 5,000x that fee just to make the average double.
659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info-Confirmation taking too much time on: December 30, 2016, 03:53:31 AM
you very low is use sending fee
standard sending fee this now, in use very high volume transaction
if you want fast transaction, sending fee must 50k satoshi/Kb

Don't spread misinformation, please. The fee needed as of now (or almost all day today) has been 20.6k/kb, a far cry from 50k (less than half). Not sure if you're just making up numbers or don't actually understand how the system works.
660  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info-Confirmation taking too much time on: December 30, 2016, 02:11:27 AM
It's been more than 1 hour and I am till waiting for the first confirmation.
https://blockchain.info/address/1LkE83jWDcLQvFVmxdNrcUCiLnDkfWGsXj
Many blocks were mined during this time and still it's unconfirmed.
What could be causing this?

To clarify, blockchain.info has nothing to do with your blocks or anything, all it's doing is reading the blockchain in a human-friendly format. You have to pay fees that are competitive with what everyone else is paying, as the blocks have been full lately.
