801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 20, 2023, 03:31:49 PM
Until a person find himself to be wrong or right, there is nothing to correct. The person does it based on his understanding about the market. Every people try to have their own technique and strategy while accumulating bitcoin. The best being buy when the price is at the bottom. It is really tough and the same could make us miss opportunity to buy at the lowest price. For this reason it is good to spend specific amount regularly on buying bitcoin. Along with the same DCA is really good against buying as a whole.
True indeed. That’s where he’s comfortable of doing and that’s how he gained understanding from the market, so if he is doing it wrongly, he will later recognize his mistake after a lesson learned. And when that happens, if he’s mature and capable enough, he will never repeat the same mistake again to avoid repeated losses as well.

It’s always good to accumulate bitcoin as early as now especially that bitcoin halving is fast approaching, but what makes it wrong is when you spend your money more than you can afford to lose. Remember that bitcoin is still risky and cannot assure guaranteed profits, but if you know how to do the math, you will never invest more than your means, otherwise you’ll end up regretting your decision.
802  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 19, 2023, 09:55:52 PM
I'd like to hear it as well from someone who has ran and keeps on running it. But since there are still ones that's existing, maybe it is but not that much.

I guess that the reason for that is that it's still fun to operate it and owners of it have other sources of income which they're not dependent to the faucet website that they won.
Well, if there are proofs from those who are doing well with faucets until now, maybe that could guarantee profitability. But you’re right, I supposed there’s no one here that is still making reliable profits from faucets. Gone are the golden days for faucets. However, if you really want to try on it, then go and do the planning to make it work. But never expect for a 100% that it will work same as before. Faucets earning has been considered an old trend already, and you can’t do nothing to change it.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Trading becomes Unfavourable on: August 19, 2023, 09:29:17 PM
There are few factors that leads to unfavourable trading, these factors includes Greed, and chasing a trend, Traders are expected to encounter Challenges during trading and relating these challenges with people's experiences can be the key in solving the challenge,
Sticking to the trading plan is also good to avoid unfavourable trade as changing plans in the middle of a trade Can really lead to a loss in trade.

When you trade, you cannot simply expect that all your trades will be good enough to stay you in profits. In fact, there are more unfavorable trades happening than those favorable ones. That is because the market is not stable and will always be prone to changes every now and then, which makes it hard to predict a lot of times. And since most of the traders too particularly the newbies who claimed to be good traders brought along their greed and expect immediate profits, then that will make their trades more unfavorable to the market. The fact that you trade simply because for profits and not with passion to understand the market well, then it’s not surprising that you’ll end up trading that the market won’t favor.
804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies say no to Trading. on: August 19, 2023, 08:50:57 PM
Well, you've given a great advice but the truth  be told that you're making trading seem very impossible  which is wrong and there are a whole lot of features introduced in trading that is already making  trading easier even for newbie and what is actually needed is basic knowledge  of buying and selling and with that, you're already good to go.
I also spoke about the copy trading feature introduced by some brokers and with that feature  alone, one can make some good profits from copy trading and I also want to correct the fact that one can make a life and living off trading but alot of practice and research ought to be done and you also have to know that  life on it's own is risky and trading or holding isn't exempted.
Newbies are still capable to learn trading and start with their own actual trades, but they should never assume that trading is easy and they can easily gain quick profits knowing they all know the basics in trading. That’s not how trading works. Trading is way more complex in reality because it’s not just all about simply motivating yourself to learn about its basics and you’re good to go. Trading requires a lot of time and efforts to help you understand what trading is really all about and needs focus and concentration so you can monitor the market as well.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 19, 2023, 08:30:24 PM
Bitcoin has captured the center of attention, especially with the younger generations showing keen interest in it. Yet, there are those who believe that teaching older individuals about it might not be a wise investment of time. However, we must ponder: does it carry value? This conversation revolves around the question of whether it's worthwhile to educate older generations about bitcoin.
For me, age won’t matter if you are interested to learn about bitcoin. I don’t believe that if you’re old, bitcoin will never be good enough for you because of your level of understanding. Yes, bitcoin is quite complex but if you have the will and interest to learn, you are doing your due diligence to learn about bitcoin, then you are still worthy to learn about bitcoin and how it will be useful in our lives. Always remember that bitcoin is never limited to its learners, everyone is fair when it comes to bitcoin.
806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive income with crypto on: August 18, 2023, 09:47:41 PM
Hey guys! I've been in crypto for a while but since it's bear market I'm curious: are there any services where you can earn passive income in crypto, except lending?
If you know, share your experience, please.
A lot of us here are probably into staking but even if we say it’s a passive income, still the guarantee is not 100% that it will be profitable in the future knowing all these reward tokens you got will never have the same value after a couple of months and years. So it can be passive just for the moment only.

For me, if you want bigger opportunity to be profitable, just invest in bitcoin and hold it for long term. It could not be profitable today but as bitcoin value continues to surge high, the future profits are also incomparable.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 17, 2023, 09:12:55 AM
The only news I saw recently is that Nate Diaz made 15-20 millions for that fight. That is multiple time more he got from UFC. No doubt that he can allow himself to walk with low hands during the fight and only taunt Jake.

Maybe Jake will keep his word and have a mma fight, but I wonder which promotion gonna organaze it. Boxing fight was with DAZN. I think only UFC is able to organize such fight and pay so much to them, but Dana not going to do that.
I think that match will be held by PFL - Professional Fighters League because as far as I remember, he was promoting PFL in January, 2023. I just googled and as it seems, he had an interview at ESPN where he said that his MMA debut will happen in late 2023 or early 2024, here is the full interview.
I believe Jake will have an MMA fight, he doesn't have to keep this word, it's going to happen without a doubt because it's necessary for his career, fame and wealth boost.

Yes, there is no need for us to do that because it is already expected specially if there will be a money flowing and we can say that Jake Paul will follow that even if it will be on a different stage, doesn't matter what would he look like as long as there will be millions to have. T

And that specific statement he made when he was interviewed helped us to understand his motives towards having an MMA fight but definitely it won't be organized by Dana White because Jake Paul is promoting another organizer and Nate Diaz doesn't have any problems with that because he doesn't have any outstanding contract with Dana White.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 16, 2023, 01:48:21 PM
The captain of the Brazil National Football Team is now in Arabia. Like Ronaldo, Benzema, Mane and others. Europe needs to find a solution to this situation. But the fact that some of the star players go to Arabia does not kill football in Europe. First of all, China made the attempts of this situation, it did not happen. Football is a culture, a color and a story. Not all of these features are available in Arabia. I'm sorry but the culture of Arabia is not suitable for football.

Capitalist order and capital no longer go to buy luxury, it brings it to itself. Neymar who signed a contract that exceeds 300 million Euros in two years is criticized by people but no one has to condition himself on anything. New stars continue to be added to the Arabian football show business.
I believe the "trend" will be this!
After the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, I believe it "opened the eyes" of the Arabs and they realized that football could be an interesting, lucrative sport and even entertainment for them to bring to their countries.

I have no doubts, Europe is home to the best teams in the world and that is undeniable, but I am sure that these signings that some arabian teams have made are directing attention there and around the world, and I believe... soon more signings of excellent and notable players will happen for the Saudi Arabian clubs

I believe that is already a part of their plan and what we are witnessing these days are just a fraction of their whole plan because I know they wouldn't just stop until Saudi League will establish a name in the world of football that will somehow be competitive enough to the other leagues and clubs that are also known around the world.

Sooner or later, I know they can produce their own best too apart from the foreign players that they have acquired to help the team win some championships.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: August 16, 2023, 06:19:11 AM
Most likely he will use it as long as it's hidden and no one knows about it but mostly as well he will be found out. But as soon as he found out, he will be in trouble unless he knows how to disappear before that even happen. Because of greed, most people don't always stop when they find a loophole in gambling, they mostly abused the bugs in order to gain more money at the end of the day greed will hunt them and they will gonna lose their money because of that, just like what we heard from the stories of others.
As long as he could continue to use it, he would still use it for his own benefit. And if it is no longer useful, he will likely sell it to someone else for more money. But the casino will check every system in the casino and immediately close the bug if there is one. The casino will also know if someone is trying to use it for its benefit and will either block the account or not process the withdrawal. But it's different if the casino holds a contest to find bugs, it will make people compete to find the bug and report it to the casino to get the prize.

They will but that doesn't usually happen in reality as often times, most gamblers would say that why would they help the casino find it when they have their own stuffs to do it and apart from that, they will not because the prize will not be as big if they will take advantage of the bug themselves. You know, those kind of mindset that do it now without trying to look for the consequences down the road because the important thing is to make money.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 16, 2023, 04:36:39 AM
All this is just a distraction from more important things.
I wouldn't waste any time watching or betting on this fake fight between two elite puppets, for me it is more interesting to watch two dogs barking on each other in street.
And I am not surprised to see Dana White getting involved talking about this because there will be lot of money involved, but I heard Musk is not going to show up for this fight.

Musk seems willing to show up for the fight. He even said he was going to bang on Mark’s door yesterday but Zuckerberg’s team put out a message that Mark wasn’t home. I am interested in this fight because it may be the most watched fight in human history, but I would agree that it is definitely distracting both from more important things.

It would be ironical if the most watched fight in human history was not even a battle between two people who are not even professional fighters.
By the way, is Elon Musk a neighbor of Mark? Because it would assume so if Mark's team thought it was necessary to answers that he was not home.

By the way, I would not be surprised if some people actually think this fight or the rumor of the fight itself is a distraction to keep people eyes away from more serious things, like politics and economy. It sounds surreal we keep talking about this event (that is not even confirmed).
We know that these billionaires having tons of homes or properties but making up some research;

Dont know on why telling on knocking on Marks door which considering that they are really that too far or being that having almost 1500 miles in between?

What they are saying was just a pure nonsense because they just made it look like they were neighbors when in-fact they aren't, just a neighboring state but not literally neighbor that you could just knock from your home within a matter of minutes. And if I'm not mistaken, Elon Musk do actually have a home that is situated in Texas but he doesn't live in it because he only sleeps in SpaceX headquarters and made himself a little room there to sleep for a few hours before working again.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 16, 2023, 03:18:02 AM
That is not new anymore to me mate. A lot of gamblers I know are greedy and even selfish that even their bets are carefully kept and never shared because just like what you said, the luck will gone out if it’s been disclosed to a lot of bettors. That’s the reason why most of these gamblers are secretly losing too and only announce their bets if ever they won, but most of the time, losing is inevitable.

I believe gambling is very unpredictable. That’s why I don’t believe any of this superstition. If you lose, it’s possible that you don’t hit the winning bet, not only because that you don’t have the luck that time.

Many are the gamblers will not share the real bet to their friends and selfish for getting the money from gambling.Only few are the legit people with unique all together opinion and share some ideology to their friends. They are like the win together type gambler.Gambler should work like a team and help at the bad situation of others. Some people think, their luck will move to other on sharing some ideas. But it's not the true one,it's like the convective ideology from some old ideology gamblers. Some people with some experience will not share the loss to his less experienced gambler because they see this like a shame to them.

That is if he or she is surrounded by some people whom his friends that are also gambling like him, but if it's the opposite? Where his friends doesn't gamble that much or don't even gamble then sharing it will just be a waste of time because they don't even like gambling or they don't know that you're gambling because they doesn't have to know as well, I mean it's no secret but for me I don't really share my gambling activities. Sharing something like an ideology or techniques is only applicable if you have some friends who does the same thing with you and of course, it's much more enjoyable if you win together and know that bets doesn't have any certainties therefore there will be no blaming afterwards.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 15, 2023, 02:31:02 PM
Kawhi has always been one of the biggest "what ifs" in the history of NBA, of course there are a lot more as well and this isn't at the top for sure but he is a big one. This dude won 2 fmvp's and is not even considered remotely anywhere the top, not even in any top 10 topics ever, I am not saying that he is not in it, I am saying he is not even considered to be in it at all, ever.

How many other 2 time finals mvp's can you name that people wouldn't even consider a small slight chance of them being in top 10? Nobody. That dude spent 2 years as bringing championship to his team, and all rest of his career as spending time resting his injury. That's really not normal and should be considered a bit weird but unlucky at the same time.

I think he could've made to the discussion amongst the top 10 if he wasn't that frequently injured, what I mean is that the talent and consistency are already there and we can say as well that he was born to be a star in this league but it's just his injuries are far more consistent compared to his play time and that is the reason why he is very limited.
And if those things weren't a problem, he would definitely be among the discussion and gave some difficulties against the top teams in this league.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 15, 2023, 01:20:28 PM
He doesn't have any option if he wanted to earn a decent amount of money, else he will take another alternative
with a lesser price of money but have that decent chance of maintaining his belts.

It will be a decision to make for him and his camp, no update yet regarding to this negotiation.

If I were in Tapales' shoes, I would choose to remain a champion and face challengers. Though I would receive a smaller amount of money than what I could potentially earn against Inoue, there's a chance that I would earn consistently. The thing is, if Tapales unifies with Inoue, the likelihood of losing is very high, and he might also lose his popularity eventually, making him unable to get fights anymore.

So it's a big risk. Let's say 'big risk = big rewards,' but he has to consider the other side.

Yes, it's kind of hard to weigh that because taking Inoue is definitely a big profit on his side regardless of the result but apart from that, he should also consider some factors if he will choose the safe side like even if he will dock Inoue just to retain his status, there will be some point in time that he will have his own match or a fight that will be too much for him to bear. We never know when will that happen but it's up to him to decide whatever he pleases.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 15, 2023, 12:17:54 PM
They’re saying that Nate Diaz walked away from this fight with Jake Paul having made over twenty million dollars. That is more than his entire career in the UFC. Say what you want about Jake Paul, but he helped Nate Diaz make more than his lifetime earnings in one night. This is why the UFC is trash and needs to be replaced with something better for the fighters.
This was boxing man, not MMA. This huge payday of Nate Diaz has absolutely nothing to do with the UFC. This fight was worth millions because it was a fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz and Jake Paul is great in marketing, you have to keep in mind his background, an youtuber guy, who was watching disney+ turned into a professional boxer in late adolescence. Guy mas millions of subscribers, don't forget that he is a brother of Logan Paul who is also enormously popular and famous. These guys are extremely wealthy, popular and marketing gurus too, the UFC has nothing to do with this pay, absolutely nothing. Also, this was a boxing match, not an MMA match.

Btw, I don't really understand what's the point of buying a ticket and PPV of the rigged match.

It's not totally rigged because we can only say that Jake Paul had 90% of chance to win, no guarantees despite having that much percentage because if Jake Paul's fight were rigged in the first place, he could've remained undefeated by now and defeated Tommy Fury on their fight in the past months. There is no certainty but we can already tell who will win, it's not that hard to figure out.

Not rigged but we both know their chances in the fight and that the chances of Nate Diaz won't even amount for us to start considering that he might win the fight, and which did happened just like how we forecasted it because there was no way that Jake Paul would lost the fight after having an embarrassment against Tommy Fury. But on their upcoming rematch, which is not yet sure for now, I think Nate Diaz will have the total control of the fight.

Bookies even know that Jake Paul will likely win the fight as he was listed as the heavy favorite to win.
Quote
The Paul vs. Diaz fight card begins at 8 p.m. ET. Paul is a -380 favorite (risk $380 to return $100), while Diaz is priced at +300 in the latest Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz odds. The over/under for total rounds finished is 7.5, with the Over juiced to -135. Before making any Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz picks, make sure you see the boxing predictions and betting advice from SportsLine analyst Peter Kahn.
source

Judging by the betting odds, it's evident that no rigging has taken place. Additionally, Jake Paul is an active boxer, whereas Nate Diaz is a UFC fighter who is already past his prime. Given these factors, the outcome was somewhat predictable.

The notion of rigging might arise because some people base their judgments on what they hear rather than what they see.

One of the reasons for that is their hate with Jake Paul which made them blind in the process and just instead say that it was already rigged and so there was no need for us to watch because the outcome was already crystal clear specially after the fact that Jake Paul needed a win to bounce back after a loss versus a true boxer, Tommy Fury.

It is undeniable that some people don't appreciate his motive in the boxing industry because he organize some fights that looks like circus already but look at him, he is still making some fights up until now because he's literally good at it and they did not realize that their hate towards Jake is the reason why he is still relevant these days.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 13, 2023, 06:54:11 PM
Legally if we are avoiding taxes, we are a bad person since we are avoiding our responsibility to our country.  One proof that supports it is that the government can sue us of tax evasion and can be imprison because of that crime.

No matter what our reason for not paying taxes is, we cannot argue that we are committing a crime against our country.

Quote
Tax evasion is an illegal activity in which a person or entity deliberately avoids paying a true tax liability. Those caught evading taxes are generally subject to criminal charges and substantial penalties.
Whatever we do that is against the law of our country, that is building a bad character for us. No need to question it, because anyone that is trying to avoid the law will definitely be put in a position of illegal citizen. Much more if you are doing tax evasion. That is a serious offense and anyone who will be proven guilty for that will receive its proper sanction and might be subject for imprisonment if not resolved early. Whatever your intention of doing that, as long as you live under a country’s provision, you are obliged to follow, not to break its law.
816  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Came back from long haitus on: August 13, 2023, 06:25:46 PM
I came back here on Bitcointalk from a very long hiatus due to personal reasons. I wanted to start offering again my services such as participating in signature campaigns but I don't know where to start. Can some tell me what are the current qualifications to join some campaign and how/where to get them? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Earn merits first through creating high quality posts, that way you will have bigger chances to be accepted in a campaign. Aside from that, I don’t see something new that is required so you can be hired as a signature campaign participant. Just avoid spamming and plagiarizing, and of course learn to respect every member in the forum, as you can’t be a potential signature campaign member if you don’t have the respect for other members.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 13, 2023, 05:59:34 PM
Bitcoin gives limitless opportunities to everyone, but not everyone is capable to turn it into substantial source of profits, as some only give it a try and when they start losing, they eventually leave bitcoin for good. That’s where I can tell that those who have faith in bitcoin regardless if they have experienced consistent losses at first are definitely those who will stay and are capable to make bitcoin profitable for them.
818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 13, 2023, 05:36:18 PM
I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
Day trading can be a source of high potential profits but it can also be possible that it could be a source of  high financial loss. That’s why a lot prefer to trade at a long term than to day trade which most of the time, these day traders incur more losses rather than seeing possible gains. So my point is, never expect to earn daily profits from day trading. No matter how skilled you are as a trader, the fact that the market is highly volatile, gives you rare chances to be in profits and earn decent income.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 12, 2023, 09:54:49 PM
Beginners are not advised to trade and expect to earn profits, since they don’t have the sufficient knowledge and skills to trade in the first place. Instead, they should focus on knowing and understanding the crypto coins and it’s unpredictable market. Later on, once they gained good experience and training in the market, maybe they could start exploring trading as well but should never expect quick profits.
820  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2023, 09:33:32 PM
To be honest, even if you’re a graduate, it’s not advisable to invest all your trust fund into bitcoin. Bitcoin is a high risk asset, so the more you invest, the riskier it will be. However, investing into bitcoin just a little amount of your trust fund is not that bad, as long as you also don’t matter if even you lose on that. Remember, bitcoin no matter how profitable it is, that will never guarantee secured profits, and if ever you’ll be in profits, the time will also be indefinite so never invest if you are not ready to lose.
