Seeing how easily Inoue destroyed Fulton does not give me any confidence in Tapales. Tapales' record is unimpressive. He's slower than Inoue and he doesn't have enough power to even make me think he has a puncher's chance. This should be a nice showcase for Inoue. It would be the ideal opportunity to fight in Las Vegas and gain more recognition outside of Japan.

All of the addresses shown to you on Electrum belong to the same wallet. The sum of all the funds in each of the addresses makes up your balance. For privacy reasons it is best to use a different address for every transaction. When you run out of addresses to use from the address list Electrum will automatically generate new ones using the wallet's public key.

I hope every former is investing their money after understanding the risks as well cause bitcoin prices are highly volatile so there will be unexpected price fluctuations so they should be should be prepared for potential losses or sudden declines in the value of their Bitcoin holdings.
Also, it is important to teach them there is nothing guaranteed when it comes to investments so their risk appetite is enough if they face loss or it will be a burden for them so anyone who is organizing this co operative investment plan should be aware of this not just blatantly invest on bitcoin because someone made money earlier.
There are risks in almost any investment. These farmers could have also lost money investing in Meta and Netflix stock. It is important to try and diversify your portfolio in order to hedge against volatility. Bitcoin is an investment with a promising future. $100k in 2025 is not unrealistic, but our investment strategy shouldn't just be based on what we wish to happen. We must be prepared for all possibilities and make responsible financial decisions.

Coming here and begging for money right away is a bad look and undermines your credibility. You claim to have proof but your screenshots don't actually prove that you were scammed. There was also another member from this forum, AsPhYiXiA, who a few weeks ago was claiming he was scammed by Stake, presented bogus evidence and was asking for donations. Until you present some actual evidence I will just assume you're lying in order to get a handout.

I flipped through a few pages of the magazine and it was a good read. The only downside was it was difficult to make out the words on a computer and I can assume that it will be even more difficult to do that on a mobile device. My suggestion is to make it appear more like an article and not the magazine look it has now.
I had no problems on desktop. You just have to expand it to fullscreen view. There is also a PDF available which you could download and read it on your preferred e-reader on your tablet. Which is this is a magazine which has beautiful and eye catching images used in it. And i doubt these images are AI created.
One of the first pages in the magazine mentions that they used AI but I believe there is also digitally scanned physical art in there. I do agree that it looks very nice and it feels like a lot of effort went into creating this magazine.

Defaulting on foreign debt has nothing to do with a currency being a scam. Argentina has defaulted nine times already. Russia's situation is different because it is still capable of paying its debts but sanctions make it difficult to do so. The debt that it defaulted on was denominated in foreign currency so the ruble isn't involved in any way. Interestingly, if US and European banks continue to freeze their funds they might consider repaying their debts with Bitcoin.

A catchy one-liner might be somewhat encouraging when you are feeling depressed over your losses but it is not foolproof logic. Not quitting won't make you impervious to losing. Instead, you might actually end up with even bigger losses. Walking away is always difficult because you never know what would have happened if you continued playing but at least you can leave with something instead of nothing.

The United States is the most obvious choice because they have won the most times. It would be more interesting if there was a winner that was unexpected but women's soccer is not at a very competitive level. The United States has finished in the top 3 every single World Cup. clearly she got confused and thought she was playing volleyball, anyway these are things that can only happen in women's soccer, but overall it's been good games so far, but unfortunately I don't see much popularity, I say that because the news channels don't talk much about this event
In the United States much of the discussion is political in nature rather than anything having to do with gameplay. Conservatives hate Team USA for being too woke and not singing the anthem. It's gotten to the point where they are even rooting for communist countries, who they also despise, to defeat them.

Fulton could just say it straight that he is afraid to get 1 loss record and will not fight Inoue but instead use his coach to accuse Inoue of being a cheat. A lame excuse and they really did it while the fight is 3 days away. This chicken had been watching too many movies starring Anton Margarito.
He had postponed the fight successfully in the past month by requesting an annoying WADA test. Now this. You really can tell whos the chicken.
When I watched the video of the coach making these statements, Fulton seemed caught off guard. The coach doesn't seem like the brightest mind and is coming up with crazy conspiracy theories to delegitimize Inoue's achievements. He also talked about Roy Jones Jr. being screwed in Korea as an example of why he didn't want the fight in Inoue's backyard. Is he aware that Japan and Korea are completely different countries? It would be like Inoue saying he doesn't want to fight in Canada because foreign fighters get screwed in the USA. Fulton is ultimately the one who is in charge and if the coach tries to obstruct the fight he should just get rid of him.

There is literally no reason to ever subject yourself to blockchain analysis (and pay for the privilege!) by using Wasabi.
Blockchain surveillance companies, including Samourai's own closed source chain analysis, don't care if you want to be subjected to it or not. They are already analyzing coinjoin participants. The coordinator fee, which is where Wasabi's funds for blockchain analysis come from, can be entirely avoided. So just leave your coins for longer for unlimited free remixes, and you will certainly mix with other users running their own node.
Waiting for weeks to use your coins is impractical. How many of those users running their own node were using Samourai when they would still collect your xpub and the trusted node feature was only for broadcasting transactions? How many of those users will compromise other participants privacy by consolidating their toxic change due to the UTXO's being below the minimum amount accepted into whirlpool? Or use JoinMarket instead.
I've always recommended Joinmarket over Whirlpool and Wasabi. Fewer dumb ways to leak your privacy but there are other tradeoffs and isn't the ideal service for inexperienced users.

Although what other colleagues said is correct, I'm still using Wasabi. I would keep sending satoshis even without coinjoin, if it wasn't for the reason that, sometimes, I don't want the receiver to know my identity in the forum or the balance I hold in my wallet. So, for me, the level of privacy Wasabi provides is enough.
Of course, I'm also reticent of chain analysis companies, and I might reconsider my preference for Wasabi, but as long as data is only leaked in case of criminal offence (at least so far), I'm in no hurry to change wallet provider because, although I'm pro-privacy, I'm of course against money-laundering.
I only report my own experience, and I'm not an expert, so please take everything I said with a pinch of salt.
I'm not a fan of blockchain analysis but I've also been using Wasabi instead. I only mix UTXOs smaller than 0.01 to avoid the coordinator fee. The dealbreaker with Samourai for me is that user xpubs are sent to their servers. Even if you are using your own node you will still be coinjoining with users who aren't and whose entire transaction history is known by Samourai, thereby degrading your own privacy.

Elon is running Twitter into the ground. He is not capable of properly managing a social media platform. People who are politically aligned with Musk benefit from getting higher visibility on their tweets. Also a ton of spam, scam and troll accounts are getting boosted merely by purchasing a blue checkmark. People don't want to join a site that is biased and elevating junk content. Musk chased away advertisers and admitted that Twitter is losing money. I don't really see how they will be able to make their product more valuable.

We should hope that those numbers would encourage other good fighters of boxing to negotiate deals and fight each other hehe. Another fight that I wish should collect a good amount of money is the superfight between Inoue and Fulton. But it appears not much people are very excited about this except for boxing fans.
Also, the fight will not be on a weekend which is strange. Why did they not make Inoue vs. Fulton in Las Vegas? It would certainly collect more money there than in Japan.
Sometimes fighters prefer the advantage of fighting at home when they are already making enough money. Anthony Joshua and several other British fighters are examples of boxers who mostly remain in their country. In Japan boxing is popular enough that Inoue can sell out any large arena and make millions from TV broadcast rights.

Based on the article I found online people in the poor neighborhood have gambling problems but this is an old study I don't know the recent and I think the study is still relevant today because there are many poor people compared to rich people, here in our location a game whenever there is a fiesta and there is a betting game there a big numbers of poor and middle class people although rich people play in casinos they are outnumber when it comes to lottery games where people bet to change their life for the better, with so many people in the world they turn to gambling like lottery because its a cheap ticket out of poverty if you hit the jackpot. People in poor neighborhoods are twice as likely to have gambling problems, study findsThis study only includes American citizens so it would not necessarily be representative of the situation in other countries. In the United States most forms of online gambling are illegal. There are also not that many physical casinos because it is only allowed in a couple of states and on Tribal territory. With almost no options people will turn to unregulated gambling which would have a greater appeal to lower class people.

It depends on what features you are looking for. There is no one size fits all wallet. Electrum is a beginner friendly wallet that is rich with features. It is probably the best wallet for the majority of users. But Metamask is not a Bitcoin Wallet
It supports bitcoin. Metamask does not support native Bitcoin. It is a wallet designed for EVM compatible networks. You can use it for Wrapped Bitcoin but this token is not really bitcoin. There is an Ordinals marketplace that let's link your Metamask wallet and it will create BTC addresses for you but you will need to always be connected to this website because the Metamask interface doesn't support any Bitcoin features.

$70,000 in cash would be hard to keep hidden. Hotels usually have surveillance cameras throughout the building so it wouldn't be too hard to narrow down a list of suspects to determine who took the money. The same thing applies when we are dealing with someone's seed phrase. If you are in a located in a place that is being surveilled and there are many people around the odds of getting away with it are low so you are better off returning it to the original owner.

Can you make bets on horses that are AI vs making bets on real horses? I see a new gambling project that focuses on horse racing only and I am surprised that those horses are not real live horses, I went deep doing research and it kinda looks like players will be the ones fine-tuning their horses 🐎 for better performance and go ahead to head with other players.
Do you think that gambling have a place with the metaverse in the future? I had a dream about being able to gamble online with people that aren't living close to me, we meet in the metaverse and it looks real, I know that sometimes when you think positively about something it is possible to dream about it.
The metaverse idea has kind of flopped. Now people are moving on to the next big thing in tech which is AI. If the metaverse concept ever really takes off then I believe gambling will be a part of the reason why it succeeds. Competitive horse racing in the metaverse is just a new spin on traditional PvP gaming. People already like the idea of competing against one another in popular PC games so this idea has a chance of succeeding.

If you are unemployed but really believe in Bitcoin then you should do everything in your power to find ways of earning it through your own merit. Putting most of your money in Bitcoin is not necessarily a negative thing because there is no currency that is 100% safe from risks. As long as you have a steady source of income it is your choice how much you want to keep allocated in Bitcoin but you will have to be willing to make some sacrifices whenever the market is heading downwards.

If it meant getting a multi million dollar inheritance I would quit cold turkey. Having financial security is more important than the enjoyment I get from gambling which can easily be replaced by other forms of entertainment. No matter how successful you have been in sports betting, the outcomes are still out of your control and it would be nearly impossible to consistently be on the winning side and still earn large sums of money. Winning big requires big risks. I would be more satisfied with guaranteed money from inheritance.

When adopting technology that can bring decentralization, it's of course always advisable to complement it with all sorts of centralization (e.g. from a messenger) you come across...
Speaking of which: What is the best Bitcoin-related community in the Lemmyverse?
These decentralized social media protocols are still fairly new and barely starting to get some adoption. Many Bitcoiners have been joining Nostr which is more like Twitter where there isn't communities organized around specific interests. The Nostr protocol offers better censorship resistance compared to Lemmy and most clients come with Lightning Network integration. Nostr can also be used to make the coinjoin coordination process more decentralized and less reliant on the current market leaders zkSnacks and Samourai.
