861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 17, 2023, 01:06:40 PM

Regarding Sotto and Clarkson, yes, they should be fun to watch. I'm hopeful that we'll witness numerous alley-oop assists from Clarkson, as the Jazz have bigger players who excel in generating points through that style.

If Sotto is quick enough, that could possibly happen. However, their opponents also have big players who can dominate the paint, particularly the Dominican Republic, who have Towns playing. The question now is, can Kai Sotto defend Karl Anthony Towns? Personally, I don't think he can, and none of the Gilas Center could stop Towns, if Gilas should make sure that their outside shooting is consistent so they can make this an interesting game to watch.

The latest rumors out of Philadelphia seem to be that the Houston Rockets have been putting together trade offers for Joel Embiid.  It’s hard not to think that this has something to do with Harden. Maybe Embiid and Harden are both trying to force their way to Houston. With Embiid taking Philly out of his social media profiles, something is definitely happening.

So much for the Process then, Lol. Sixers has given him the support, but I guess when he won the MVP already, it made him think to chase the ring and not any individual accolade. And it's hard to see Joel leaving the Sixers, but I guess if he wanted to get out then there's nothing that the management can do.

Just weird though that the destination they want is Houston? Although Harden has a good years run in Houston, but it doesn't make sense for Embid to follow his team mates there though. Does Joel has a connection with the city of Houston?

Either Embiid will request a trade, or he will get traded. Given what's going on within the organization, there's a likelihood that Embiid might not stay with the 76ers. Just consider what might happen to the 76ers' season if Harden sits out, since the management doesn't plan to trade him. Do we think Embiid will be happy with that? Next season will likely be a determining factor in Embiid's decision, as this team lacks a long-term plan and struggles in taking care of its players.
863  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you tell me the best indicator for long term investment? on: August 17, 2023, 02:30:09 AM
Bitcoin has a decade old history and we have a price patten that indicates both upwards and downward moment. After every halving we have a bull run and so is expected after next halving. For me Bitcoin price is not dependent on news or other events rather it has its own logics of going up and down. Buying Bitcoin at the moment is best option as next halving is coming next year.
The bitcoin half that is always awaited, it will be the moment when bitcoin can reach ATH again. Everyone hopes so, buying bitcoins is currently the best choice. we are still down about 60% from the last ATH in 2021. Looking forward to 2024 which will probably repeat decades of successful history of bitcoin. Confident with the development of bitcoin to date.
This year2023 was not really a great year for crypto investment but at least it wasn't bad compared to last year. However, with the current situation, I see this as a good time to start accumulating some Bitcoin because a few years from now. That is why we don't have to miss this opportunity but rather grab it while the price is still low because we believe that after halving there is a price surge the same thing that happens before. But still, we need to take extra caution and keep on this saying - "invest only the amount that we can afford to lose".
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 16, 2023, 01:12:33 PM
By the way, guys, what do you think about this change in the upcoming season? Will the regular season be more interesting for players and fans because of this in-season tournament or not?

Since it will be the first time to see such a format in the NBA season, we don't know what to expect.

However, from my point of view, since the in-season tournament requires consistent winning, we should expect early season games where teams will be serious right away and not take the game lightly different from what we see in the usual games in the early season.

If it's interesting or not overall, can only find it out later on. For me though, should be entertaining as "it's NBA".

Yes, everything will be decided when these new rules already been applies for now. We are all new to what NBA is preparing, though we already
have that updates, but the actual implementation will be a witness on the day the season starts.

Let's hope for the best and for all the competing teams to bring all the best for their fans. I'm sure we will have that excitement.

Bettors will take this as a good way to analyze as teams will not take the game lightly, even in the early stage of the league.

The new rules are likely to bring more excitement, as they wouldn't have been created in the first place if they weren't intended to. Despite being the most popular basketball league in the world, the NBA's commissioner is still striving to maintain its interest by introducing new rules. I've recently read about these new rules, but they haven't fully sunk in yet. Perhaps I'll grasp them better once I watch the actual games.

For those who are curious, here's the rules

865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 16, 2023, 12:32:25 PM
@harizen. On Tapales, what legacy? We should be honest, he is a good boxer but he has no potential to be something similar to Pacman or Inoue. I speculate that he might also lose if Casimero was given an opportunity to fight him.

Everything is business for Tapales. He knows Inoue wants to create a boxing legacy and he cannot have this if he cannot get the WBA and IBF championships. Inoue should pay the right amount.

Also, if Tapales will decide not to fight Inoue, I wish it would be Casimero and also wish that Casimero would win hehehehhee. Inoue vs. Casimero would be another fight the boxing fans would consider something like a superfight.

The misunderstanding between Tapales and Inoue already favors Casimero, as either boxer could face Casimero as their challenger. So, perhaps Casimero is content with the situation, as it could expedite his chance to be in a championship fight. First, Tapales vs. Casimero, and then Casimero vs. Inoue – that's a promising journey. It would enhance Casimero's reputation if he were to defeat his fellow boxer and dethrone him, given that the scenario were to unfold. I'm quite optimistic that it could occur, provided Inoue ruin the possibility of that unification fight against Tapales.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 15, 2023, 12:22:56 PM
I think only Casimero fans are going to say that Inoue is ducking him. Inoue was interested in the fight no doubt about it. And they have scheduled it, this time Casimero will have to defend his WBO belt, but issues after issues and so he lost that chance.

So if you look at it, there's no ducking there, just the circumstances and it's not Inoue fault but Casimero. So it's better for Casimero to just stop the chase for now, let him rank himself in super bantamweight class first and maybe he will get that chance if Inoue will decide to stay at this decision and so some cleanup just like in bantamweight or move up and look for more challenges but it's going to be dangerous for him at 126 lbs.

As far as I remember, the only time I knew that Inoue vs. Casimero had a scheduled fight was before the pandemic. It was canceled because of the ongoing pandemic. However, once everything became clear, Casimero was expecting that they would make the fight happen. Unfortunately, Inoue's camp didn't respond to that.

Casimero had problems with his weight, which led to his belt being stripped. He violated the rules, though. Here's the full story of that.
https://www.ringtv.com/638052-john-riel-casimero-vs-paul-butler-off-due-to-casimeros-violation-of-bbbofc-medical-policy/
Quote
John Riel Casimero is in danger of being stripped of the WBO bantamweight title after violating terms of the British Boxing Board of Control’s medical policy regarding the use of saunas prior to a fight.

The point is, if Inoue was really interested in fighting Casimero, he should have sign the deal right away after the pandemic, but he choose the other direction.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 15, 2023, 11:29:44 AM
If MPBL games will be held in some big arenas like Smart Araneta or MOA Arena, etc. expect only a few live audiences and won't bother to spend money on purchasing tickets. And surely a worst to expect if we talk about having a game in PH Arena.  Cheesy

If that would be the scenario then it would be like just like the PBA, unless if the Smart Araneta Coliseum is the homecourt of one team then i think it can drew more crowds which is match better than the PBA, i think.

The owner of Blackwater has proposed that PBA games will be held in a home-away format, following i think the format of the MPBL nd the defunct MBA but i don't think they can sustain the logistics in doing so as it is very costly to move a team to another island that is why MBA was short-lived.

The PBA will stay as is, only this time more teams but still MVP and SMC companies will have influence on the new teams, that's for sure.

There's no doubt that the PBA has greater resources, but if they ignore the critics, I don't anticipate them maintaining their top position in the future. Although the MPBL might not be on the same scale as the PBA, with increasing supporters and investors, they could potentially evolve into a significant league. Sponsors play a vital role, and in today's age, broadcasting their games is not a challenge, ensuring widespread awareness. While it's a journey from the outset, I wouldn't underestimate the league's potential, given the strides they've already made.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin best option to invest on: August 12, 2023, 02:12:45 PM

This is why I believe that Bitcoin investment is not for everybody, Some responsibilities are at stake for some people and they won't be able to afford a Sat of Bitcoin, some won't be able to complete their HODL dreams, and they will get tired along the way because they are of needs.

It is true that not everyone is economically qualified to invest in bitcoin but if I compare bitcoin investment with other investments, I find bitcoin investment much easier.  I mean, you can invest in bitcoin any amount you have, even 10$ or 20$, although the profit will be negligible.  but it's better than other investments, and there's nothing you can do with that money when you think about gold or real estate.  bitcoin is for everyone, but not everyone accepts it, it depends on each person's ability, bitcoin does not reject anyone.
Yes, we usually thought that was too easy but if you don't have good knowledge about Bitcoin and how to manage your wallet, you will be surprised that your funds are already gone. That is why I don't agree that Bitcoin is for everyone but rather say that we all have the opportunity, yet it is only our choice or desire to do it as it was not a good idea to force someone when they are not capable enough as in the end, they only regret it.
So I say, those who can afford to take risks can try Bitcoin but if not, better to forget it and look for an investment that we think can do it.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 12, 2023, 01:47:21 PM

I find demo modes to be very useful, not only for gambling but in everything, like if you are playing a video game for the first time, you go through the demos to learn the keys and other stuff, similarly, in gambling, a demo mode let's you explore the gameplay before you get involved with the real mode.
Because demo mode is designed to allow gamblers to enjoy gambling and the results are purely manipulative. That is why what we often see is winnings, not losses because this will encourage gamblers and would think that they can do like this or even better when gambling in real. Unfortunately, it was too different and the design isn't like that as it was more intense doing actual rather than playing fake money or just free tokens. However, we could still apply the learning that we have using a demo account and this could help as well.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 12, 2023, 12:48:06 PM
~
My plan is to hold the layer 1 and layer 2 tokens for the next bull run. Also, try to get some profits from during that time. Because we don't know the exact ATH.
Are these tokens providing any use case or just tokens with promises. Majority of the layer1 and layer 2 token projects are just hype, so not sure how those will thrive but then some tokens might pump during the bull run and hence i need to check some of them to invest. The usual top alts in the market that are certain to rally every bull run are the coins that are in mind for me.
Uncertainties usually come into our mind about new projects but as I've seen in the previous bull season, new projects and even these shitcoins had given us a big surprise for their skyrocketing price. Imagine, it increases more than those known and potential coins that we have. Meaning, anything can possibly happen during Bullrun, and as seen, many investors are buying new projects as they thought that what happened in the past will happen again.
Well, of course, it was best and certainly has assurance from holding top altcoins than these new projects.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: August 12, 2023, 12:28:18 PM
Well, it is to say that Doge gains popularity because of Elon Musk, not because people had see it as valuable in the crypto space. So, what will happen if Elon Musk is gone and leave Dogecoin, could we think will be hyped again, I don't think so. I don't think Dogecoin deserves too much attention and so are these meme coins. Yes, it can't deny that many people have made money from them but can't see how many people had suffered losses because of these shitcoins. I don't want to assume but I know most of us know about Dogecoin, it was not a good choice for investment and so thinking it will bullish again is impossible.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 12, 2023, 11:56:36 AM
Usually, people who win in gambling but not able to cash out or save their winnings and I think this has something to do with a Healthy mindset.
If you do not have the intention to save the wealth, you will lose all your winnings by risking them again in another gambling bet.

Only a mentally strong person who has control over emotions and have money management skills would be the real winner here and will become rich eventually.

It's true. Gamblers lose their winnings because they want to make something extra and a little more than what they won. I am a gambler myself, and I often win double what I deposit. But, most of the time, I want to round the figure. For example, I deposited $20 and won another $20. My balance is $40, but I wanted to round it to $50.

Guess what happens, then. I end up losing them all, including my deposit. We always think we may be able to win a little more, and most of the time, we continue to gamble after having a win. We should have cashed out a portion of the winnings so we don't lose them all.

No gambler is able to deny these things because there is a huge chance that every gambler has been through this experience and even after experiencing it, they still do the very same thing like there's nothing happened in the past at all. It might be ridiculous to read but this is a fact because as a human being, it is very normal to be greedy. What's not normal is doing nothing to avoid such instances.
That is what I said, we usually overwhelm when we won our first bet and it turns greedy because what is our mind is gonna be our chance to win more and get lose losses in the past. Well, we could say that most gamblers have this kind of behavior but should we have to regret doing this? I guess not because we know this will really happen, it sometimes our greed influences our minds and instead of keeping on the minimum bet, we tried more as we think we are too lucky this day and so the worse thing happens - losses.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 12, 2023, 11:26:48 AM

The comments point to one thing gambling just like every other activity should be done in moderation. Recklessness is a result of overdoing it. And to avoid this, make only small bets. That adrenaline rush comes from huge bets that is above $100. If you have noticed that you lose tract of time when gambling, you are already being reckless and overdoing it. Look for substitute fun activities that do not require money or any other thing to be wagered.

Most of the time, I'd see gamblers that once they win their first bet, they'll double their bet the next round as they are thinking that they could still win.
If you are in this situation and if you are new to gambling even if your plan is to just bet a small amount but seeing you had won straight, definitely will encourage you to bet more and spend more. At this point, it is just like we fall into the trap of gambling not knowing that the next round will be our losses.

yes, I have had this kind of experience before, I put everything I won and lost in a single bet.
874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any legit bitcoin mining apps? on: August 11, 2023, 09:46:40 PM
Hey, listen up!! There are no such apps... Bitcoin mining hasn't been simplified to that version, sorry! Anything else of this nature is a pure SCAM!!  I don't support that as I won't take what's not rightfully mine either!!
This is all done in a bid that a fake mempool is pre-organised and you'll be Aksed at the end to either inject a little amount of BTC to settle up mining fees, or whatever... But all you'll be seeing on that site are actually fake confirmations... Don't dare!!!

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
I'd seen a lot of apps on the internet and tried one just to confirm if that is true and legit but the speculations are definitely right, all of them are tricks and scams. So it was not advisable to download those apps because this might be the reason for hacking our phones as well.

Let us imagine that if those apps are legit, many people had become rich already - it was free mining as offered but because it was not, they are just ignored. So, I suggest OP stop thinking it really exists, better to spend his money buying Bitcoin rather than wasting his time with these fake mining apps.
875  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are these Swaps legit ? on: August 11, 2023, 03:47:54 PM
These sites are pretty new and risky to use. I'd never know or have an experience with any of them but just PancakeSwap. Whether they are legit or not but it was safe to use a reliable exchange as long as our tokens are available to them. But if not, we leave no choice but to take risks from these new swaps sites and see how it works.

But upon reading their names, doubts had come into my mind. Well, it was just my personal opinion but I have to say, we need to do research in order to find how reliable they are and try, that was an absolute way to determine f that is a scam site or now.
876  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: August 11, 2023, 03:25:36 PM
It is quite possible that in the fall we will see the bitcoin price fall to 20000-23000, so it may be worth waiting to buy bitcoin until the fall. And in the spring of 2024, we may already see a global rise in bitcoin. This is an assumption based on the history of previous years

I would say don’t wait further to buy the coins. It’s not necessary that Bitcoins will go down in the fall. If you greed for more and don’t buy now the coins, then you might miss the best time to buy the coin, which is now. We already know that Bitcoins are way more valuable than the current price, so before it starts increasing in price, accumulate as many Bitcoins as you can irrespective of it’s price and hold it. Definitely in next year you will see thrice of the profits.
If we really trust Bitcoin, no matter what is the price, we still buy them. But at some point - buying low is different from buying high when it comes to profit so why we should wait until the price of Bitcoin will rise if we have the chance to buy at a lower price? That was a question but have to say it's up to our own price discretion and buying strategy because I see that those impatient people or what we called short-term investors will often buy crypto during the bull season so they can sell them and earn a profit after a few days of waiting. Whether if that is a smart decision or not, that was their choice.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 11, 2023, 02:49:05 PM

And I guess it takes a champion to recognized a talent, like what Pacman was in his prime years. And now that he is retired, he might have somewhat see himself in the young Inoue that's why he appreciates what the Japanese has done and there are fans that compare the two even though it's too early to see what will happen to Inoue in the next 5-10 years.

If Casimero will get a fight, then good for him, he needs to be busy and just focus on his boxing career and then next year probably target a fight with Inoue or someone rank boxer to inch closer for a world title fight.

Casimero's journey to face Inoue might take longer because his ranking is not yet close to that of the champion. So, you are right; he still needs to fight more to become a strong contender. While Inoue might be occupied with his pursuit of becoming an undisputed champion, we never know whether he will remain in the division after achieving his goal or if he will move up again, leaving Casimero with no chance of fighting the Beast.

Tapales' decision is very crucial here. If he wants to pursue the undisputed fight, his reign as a champion may not last long, and the scenario you mentioned might not actually materialize. As we all know, Inoue is attempting to capitalize on his peak, so it wouldn't make sense for him to remain in the current division if he becomes an undisputed champion. Although his camp mentioned that they will have more fights in the super bantamweight before moving up, I doubt they'll stick to that plan once Inoue attains undisputed champion status.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 11, 2023, 01:42:22 PM

To many groups claiming that they are good on predictions but most of them failed that's why its so hard to trust those groups around. Maybe we can determine a good group if they don't ask any payment and share their insights also offers good discussions to the member of the group. But if they ask vip payments and other more then we can say that its useless to join on this group since we know that we cannot get anything good with those groups.
We can find a lot of that in sports betting forums. However, since it's free, the tipster might get tired in the long run, and you might miss out on winning in sports. Some people are just so desperate that they want to join a group to ensure they receive timely picks and put their money in without questioning the tipster. It's a matter of reputation; if the tipster has a good winning track record, then there's no problem for the subscribers, as they will certainly pay to win.

Just don't stick with one tipster. If you notice that the tips are not winning anymore, you are free to find other tipsters, especially if you don't trust yourself and rely on other people to dictate your future in sports betting.
879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 11, 2023, 01:11:37 PM

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
I would say yes but this will also matter in your capital. The more you have money, the bigger your chances that you can make it. But don't be too confident about it because achieving it daily is not just because we have huge capital, our strategies are also a big factor in achieving it.
What I can suggest to you is to stop thinking about earning huge because this will badly influence you that can focus on what must have to do as you can be possibly desperate how to achieve your target which could ruin your goal.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: August 11, 2023, 08:06:09 AM

But maybe I trust ETH and BNB more because those two projects are still the two most popular projects compared to other projects.
They are not just familiar but these two coins had something to give a huge contribution to the crypto space.
We know ETH for its smart contract applications and BNB for exchanging tokens. We give trust them the most because we are confident enough that they don't die easily, unlike how these shitcoins will going to be.

For me, it was not necessary to invest a lot of altcoins, it was not the quantity but the quality of our invested project. Because even if it was just 1 or two but we know it won't disappoint us in the end.
