861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 12, 2023, 01:47:21 PM

I find demo modes to be very useful, not only for gambling but in everything, like if you are playing a video game for the first time, you go through the demos to learn the keys and other stuff, similarly, in gambling, a demo mode let's you explore the gameplay before you get involved with the real mode.
Because demo mode is designed to allow gamblers to enjoy gambling and the results are purely manipulative. That is why what we often see is winnings, not losses because this will encourage gamblers and would think that they can do like this or even better when gambling in real. Unfortunately, it was too different and the design isn't like that as it was more intense doing actual rather than playing fake money or just free tokens. However, we could still apply the learning that we have using a demo account and this could help as well.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 12, 2023, 12:48:06 PM
~
My plan is to hold the layer 1 and layer 2 tokens for the next bull run. Also, try to get some profits from during that time. Because we don't know the exact ATH.
Are these tokens providing any use case or just tokens with promises. Majority of the layer1 and layer 2 token projects are just hype, so not sure how those will thrive but then some tokens might pump during the bull run and hence i need to check some of them to invest. The usual top alts in the market that are certain to rally every bull run are the coins that are in mind for me.
Uncertainties usually come into our mind about new projects but as I've seen in the previous bull season, new projects and even these shitcoins had given us a big surprise for their skyrocketing price. Imagine, it increases more than those known and potential coins that we have. Meaning, anything can possibly happen during Bullrun, and as seen, many investors are buying new projects as they thought that what happened in the past will happen again.
Well, of course, it was best and certainly has assurance from holding top altcoins than these new projects.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: August 12, 2023, 12:28:18 PM
Well, it is to say that Doge gains popularity because of Elon Musk, not because people had see it as valuable in the crypto space. So, what will happen if Elon Musk is gone and leave Dogecoin, could we think will be hyped again, I don't think so. I don't think Dogecoin deserves too much attention and so are these meme coins. Yes, it can't deny that many people have made money from them but can't see how many people had suffered losses because of these shitcoins. I don't want to assume but I know most of us know about Dogecoin, it was not a good choice for investment and so thinking it will bullish again is impossible.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 12, 2023, 11:56:36 AM
Usually, people who win in gambling but not able to cash out or save their winnings and I think this has something to do with a Healthy mindset.
If you do not have the intention to save the wealth, you will lose all your winnings by risking them again in another gambling bet.

Only a mentally strong person who has control over emotions and have money management skills would be the real winner here and will become rich eventually.

It's true. Gamblers lose their winnings because they want to make something extra and a little more than what they won. I am a gambler myself, and I often win double what I deposit. But, most of the time, I want to round the figure. For example, I deposited $20 and won another $20. My balance is $40, but I wanted to round it to $50.

Guess what happens, then. I end up losing them all, including my deposit. We always think we may be able to win a little more, and most of the time, we continue to gamble after having a win. We should have cashed out a portion of the winnings so we don't lose them all.

No gambler is able to deny these things because there is a huge chance that every gambler has been through this experience and even after experiencing it, they still do the very same thing like there's nothing happened in the past at all. It might be ridiculous to read but this is a fact because as a human being, it is very normal to be greedy. What's not normal is doing nothing to avoid such instances.
That is what I said, we usually overwhelm when we won our first bet and it turns greedy because what is our mind is gonna be our chance to win more and get lose losses in the past. Well, we could say that most gamblers have this kind of behavior but should we have to regret doing this? I guess not because we know this will really happen, it sometimes our greed influences our minds and instead of keeping on the minimum bet, we tried more as we think we are too lucky this day and so the worse thing happens - losses.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 12, 2023, 11:26:48 AM

The comments point to one thing gambling just like every other activity should be done in moderation. Recklessness is a result of overdoing it. And to avoid this, make only small bets. That adrenaline rush comes from huge bets that is above $100. If you have noticed that you lose tract of time when gambling, you are already being reckless and overdoing it. Look for substitute fun activities that do not require money or any other thing to be wagered.

Most of the time, I'd see gamblers that once they win their first bet, they'll double their bet the next round as they are thinking that they could still win.
If you are in this situation and if you are new to gambling even if your plan is to just bet a small amount but seeing you had won straight, definitely will encourage you to bet more and spend more. At this point, it is just like we fall into the trap of gambling not knowing that the next round will be our losses.

yes, I have had this kind of experience before, I put everything I won and lost in a single bet.
866  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any legit bitcoin mining apps? on: August 11, 2023, 09:46:40 PM
Hey, listen up!! There are no such apps... Bitcoin mining hasn't been simplified to that version, sorry! Anything else of this nature is a pure SCAM!!  I don't support that as I won't take what's not rightfully mine either!!
This is all done in a bid that a fake mempool is pre-organised and you'll be Aksed at the end to either inject a little amount of BTC to settle up mining fees, or whatever... But all you'll be seeing on that site are actually fake confirmations... Don't dare!!!

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
I'd seen a lot of apps on the internet and tried one just to confirm if that is true and legit but the speculations are definitely right, all of them are tricks and scams. So it was not advisable to download those apps because this might be the reason for hacking our phones as well.

Let us imagine that if those apps are legit, many people had become rich already - it was free mining as offered but because it was not, they are just ignored. So, I suggest OP stop thinking it really exists, better to spend his money buying Bitcoin rather than wasting his time with these fake mining apps.
867  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are these Swaps legit ? on: August 11, 2023, 03:47:54 PM
These sites are pretty new and risky to use. I'd never know or have an experience with any of them but just PancakeSwap. Whether they are legit or not but it was safe to use a reliable exchange as long as our tokens are available to them. But if not, we leave no choice but to take risks from these new swaps sites and see how it works.

But upon reading their names, doubts had come into my mind. Well, it was just my personal opinion but I have to say, we need to do research in order to find how reliable they are and try, that was an absolute way to determine f that is a scam site or now.
868  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: August 11, 2023, 03:25:36 PM
It is quite possible that in the fall we will see the bitcoin price fall to 20000-23000, so it may be worth waiting to buy bitcoin until the fall. And in the spring of 2024, we may already see a global rise in bitcoin. This is an assumption based on the history of previous years

I would say don’t wait further to buy the coins. It’s not necessary that Bitcoins will go down in the fall. If you greed for more and don’t buy now the coins, then you might miss the best time to buy the coin, which is now. We already know that Bitcoins are way more valuable than the current price, so before it starts increasing in price, accumulate as many Bitcoins as you can irrespective of it’s price and hold it. Definitely in next year you will see thrice of the profits.
If we really trust Bitcoin, no matter what is the price, we still buy them. But at some point - buying low is different from buying high when it comes to profit so why we should wait until the price of Bitcoin will rise if we have the chance to buy at a lower price? That was a question but have to say it's up to our own price discretion and buying strategy because I see that those impatient people or what we called short-term investors will often buy crypto during the bull season so they can sell them and earn a profit after a few days of waiting. Whether if that is a smart decision or not, that was their choice.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 11, 2023, 02:49:05 PM

And I guess it takes a champion to recognized a talent, like what Pacman was in his prime years. And now that he is retired, he might have somewhat see himself in the young Inoue that's why he appreciates what the Japanese has done and there are fans that compare the two even though it's too early to see what will happen to Inoue in the next 5-10 years.

If Casimero will get a fight, then good for him, he needs to be busy and just focus on his boxing career and then next year probably target a fight with Inoue or someone rank boxer to inch closer for a world title fight.

Casimero's journey to face Inoue might take longer because his ranking is not yet close to that of the champion. So, you are right; he still needs to fight more to become a strong contender. While Inoue might be occupied with his pursuit of becoming an undisputed champion, we never know whether he will remain in the division after achieving his goal or if he will move up again, leaving Casimero with no chance of fighting the Beast.

Tapales' decision is very crucial here. If he wants to pursue the undisputed fight, his reign as a champion may not last long, and the scenario you mentioned might not actually materialize. As we all know, Inoue is attempting to capitalize on his peak, so it wouldn't make sense for him to remain in the current division if he becomes an undisputed champion. Although his camp mentioned that they will have more fights in the super bantamweight before moving up, I doubt they'll stick to that plan once Inoue attains undisputed champion status.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 11, 2023, 01:42:22 PM

To many groups claiming that they are good on predictions but most of them failed that's why its so hard to trust those groups around. Maybe we can determine a good group if they don't ask any payment and share their insights also offers good discussions to the member of the group. But if they ask vip payments and other more then we can say that its useless to join on this group since we know that we cannot get anything good with those groups.
We can find a lot of that in sports betting forums. However, since it's free, the tipster might get tired in the long run, and you might miss out on winning in sports. Some people are just so desperate that they want to join a group to ensure they receive timely picks and put their money in without questioning the tipster. It's a matter of reputation; if the tipster has a good winning track record, then there's no problem for the subscribers, as they will certainly pay to win.

Just don't stick with one tipster. If you notice that the tips are not winning anymore, you are free to find other tipsters, especially if you don't trust yourself and rely on other people to dictate your future in sports betting.
871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 11, 2023, 01:11:37 PM

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
I would say yes but this will also matter in your capital. The more you have money, the bigger your chances that you can make it. But don't be too confident about it because achieving it daily is not just because we have huge capital, our strategies are also a big factor in achieving it.
What I can suggest to you is to stop thinking about earning huge because this will badly influence you that can focus on what must have to do as you can be possibly desperate how to achieve your target which could ruin your goal.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: August 11, 2023, 08:06:09 AM

But maybe I trust ETH and BNB more because those two projects are still the two most popular projects compared to other projects.
They are not just familiar but these two coins had something to give a huge contribution to the crypto space.
We know ETH for its smart contract applications and BNB for exchanging tokens. We give trust them the most because we are confident enough that they don't die easily, unlike how these shitcoins will going to be.

For me, it was not necessary to invest a lot of altcoins, it was not the quantity but the quality of our invested project. Because even if it was just 1 or two but we know it won't disappoint us in the end.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 10, 2023, 12:29:51 PM
I think wagering is just a subtle way for casinos to get back the money that they pay out in rewards. People never wager with 3rd party Slots because the RTP will quickly clean out their balance... but the in-house games with the good RTP are similar to slow boiling a frog in a pot.

Take DICE on Stake.com as an example ... Put it on a 1.0102x Multiplier with a Roll Over of 2 that will give you a Win Chance of 98% .... and then spin say 10 000 x $0.30 bets. (Enable Live Stats and see how slowly it will drain your balance) ......that is wagering and you are slowly boiling like a frog.  Roll Eyes

Wagering requirements in casinos are designed to provide the house with a greater advantage. However, when it comes to sports betting, I believe it's less of an issue for us bettors. If our primary concern is meeting the wagering requirement, we can easily hedge our bets in other sportsbooks. Additionally, the house edge becomes less relevant as we have numerous options in terms of betting odds in the realm of sports.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 10, 2023, 11:43:51 AM
@Lanatsa. Pacman is not being a traitor against his own countrymen. In the ambush interview, what Pacman told the interviewer was he wanted to help Inoue and teach him his secrets on how he carried his strength, speed, power and stamina when he has fighting in higher weight divisions. He wants everyone to witness someone greater than him in boxing, I reckon.

I thought Pacman is only willing to help if in case Inoue will move up to other divisions again? Anyways, Pacman once again was caught in another ambush interview during the Crawford-Spence event, the legend mentioned Crawford as the new #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world replacing Inoue but he also said that Inoue remains his favorite guy. https://www.facebook.com/IFLTV/videos/617315163875941
Cannot blame Pacquiao for that if he said those words in an interview because it's pretty much so rare that an Asian boxer particularly in Southeast Asia will rise and dominate the divisions he stepped into, and it's just too hard to deny the facts because Inoue is indeed a literal monster. Donaire and Casimero tried and did have a successful run, the latter is still active and it's still a mystery whether he can be a four-division world champion or three will be his limit.

Quote
Meanwhile, according to a local source, Team Tapales is not happy with Naoya Inoue's offers. And just a few days ago, 3 division champion Johnreil Casimero started training again in his town. Casimero looked very heavy at the moment so hopefully, he continues his light training as he might be Inoue's next opponent late this year. It could be that Tapales is not happy with the money presented on the table but it is possible that both sides are bluffing at this early stage of their negotiations. Tapales if he won't face Inoue next might face a mandatory either from the WBA or the IBF. A rematch against former champion Morudjon Akhmadaliev for the WBA mandatory or IBF's mandatory Sam Goodan of Australia might be a high-risk low reward for Tapales should he not come to an agreement with Inoue.
I'm thinking that Casimero will have another fight before this year ends which is why he is starting his training regimen now, hopefully that's Nery so that his rank will improve. While for the undisputed discussion, Tapales camp is still taking a stand that they wanted a much bigger figure and that is so understandable because they deserved that.

Pacman is just being honest right there there is nothing wrong with it. Inoue is indeed rare. He earned his credentials in impressive ways. Became the world champion in his 6th fight, a 2-division champion in his 8th fight, undisputed at bantamweight, and a 4-division champion at 30 years old. He is very unique in his own way and Pacman had nothing but huge appreciation.
Inoue may possess more talent than Pacman, but it appears that Inoue is less inclined to take risks compared to Pacman. Whenever Pacman moved up to a heavier division, he consistently faced the best opponents, and there were no concerns about the purse he would receive. On the other hand, Inoue's camp seems to view him as exceptional, even though he is currently a 4-division champion. When we consider Pacman's achievements, Inoue is only halfway towards reaching that level. Consequently, he should act swiftly and engage in more fights to make further progress.

As for Casimero, it is really good that he gets a fight before the end of the year. He should fight with or without Inoue in order for him to stay sharp and disciplined.

He will persist in fighting until he establishes himself as a top contender. This could potentially position him as a challenger to Inoue, offering an opportunity to face the beast in case the fight with Tapales doesn't materialize.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How big is your optimism for crypto investment? on: August 09, 2023, 03:17:18 PM
I'd see a better future for crypto investment (just for now) but of course, it varies depending on the situation also. Because might we see crypto as profitable these days but can't be sure if this is still the same or even growing many years from now - a decade or two? It is just that everything is unpredictable and we also need to adjust. Well, at least we are earning them right now and we don't have to ignore this opportunity because we never know this will never happen someday.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 09, 2023, 02:36:36 PM
My fearless forecast is that they will be part in the final 12 roster of Gilas as both AJ Edu and Rhenz Abando plays excellent defense on which coach Chot Reyes wants this version of Gilas to be defense oriented.
I'm confident that they will be included, but I just have concern about how Coach Chot is treating Rhenz Abando. It seems like he hasn't given him enough minutes to help the team. Personally, I believe he would fit well and would be able to help if he were part of the starting lineup. The good thing with Rhenz Abando is his effort; if he cannot score, he will contribute on the other end with defense and rebounding the ball. He is an all-around player that could give and maintain energy for the team. We need that, as we aren't on the top list of rankings. So from the very start, our energy should be high.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius (replacement) on: August 09, 2023, 01:57:22 PM

Well if he can knockout Helenius then it might be good for his image or even boxing pundits will say that he did a great job, even more than Wilder. But if this is just a wild 12 round decision then for sure there will be a lot of criticism on the side of Joshua for not putting a replacement fighter and winning it easy.
I think it doesn't matter to him as long as he wins the fight, as he is already scheduled to fight Wilder. That's the biggest fight of his career, probably. Personally, I don't think he can beat Wilder. So, if his performance is not impressive, bettors will be betting on the side of Wilder, making him the underdog in the coming fight.

A win is the most important, but having an impressive win would make people believe that he has a good chance of winning against Wilder. It's not only on the betting sites; what matters most on their part are the fans who would be able to watch the fight. When the fans believe that the outcome might be unpredictable, that will add more excitement on their part and they'll be enticed to watch the fight. Well, this is just an undercard, maybe there's less impact only since fans would want to see the Fury vs Usyk fight, but it's always better to have an impressive win, though.

AJ here has to understand that he is up for a big fight—'just win'—and then he can enjoy a big payday, even an undercard fight only.
He is slowly going up to the top. His losses to Usyk were really big and have affected his career, but I trust that his career in boxing is not yet over.

They are locked into Lebron and AD and both are older and on the downward trajectory of theor careers.
This is so true. It cannot get better. I don't understand what Lakers are doing and what are they thinking for the next 2-3 years.
It's simple, they've got their own terms and still trust the two. That's why even if they're older, they're putting a bet on that roster and won't change anytime soon or have them traded. As long as they can still see the value in them, they'll continue to work with them until these two are the ones to demand a trade. We do understand that the value of these two are not that at its peak anymore and there are better options. But, that's what Lakers are for, they're impressed with what just happened on the last season when they're actually in the deepest and still managed to the play-in/playoffs.
Let's think this way: if the Lakers had beaten the Nuggets in the WCF, they would certainly have won the championship. So, probably what the management is thinking is that there's still a chance for both AD and LeBron to win a championship. The roster is still complete, at least with the starters, and they have added more depth, so it's expected to see this team improve next season.

Personally, I don't find any problem with retaining these two. Besides, LeBron is nearing retirement, so they just want to honor what he has done with the Lakers before his retirement. Having LeBron on the team also makes the Lakers more popular, which will result in bigger ticket sales and more views.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius (replacement) on: August 08, 2023, 12:04:34 PM
Update: Anthony Joshua sets Robert Helenius as replacement opponent for Dillian Whyte | 'I am a true Viking!'

AJ is officially facing this weekend Robert Helenius, the guy that was KO'd in round 1 by Deontay Wilder in his last fight last year. Robert Helenius just won a fight a few days ago in 3rd round. So the undercards remained the same.

Looking at his record, I can say that he has been in many battles already. However, the fact that he got KO'd by Wilder makes me think that he is not a worthy opponent of AJ, and that AJ could easily beat him. Probably, he will again experience a KO loss. Imagine if my prediction were to happen, then both AJ and Wilder would have KO'd this guy, whom they are going to face as an undercard in the Fury vs Usyk fight. I'm now thrilled.

If XRP doesn't have any advantages over SWIFT Go, then how is it going to take market share away from it, and how are the bag holders going to become millionaires and billionaires?
By shilling to the newbies that do not have any much knowledge about crypto that XRP will be the future of crypto, that it will be the number one crypto coin etc. That's how. And when the newbies buy the coins due to FOMO making the price to rise, that's when the bag holders dump into them. Don't tell me you don't know how most crypto market of shitcoins millionaires/billionaires are made or work.
It is about telling the people around that competition comes and becomes tough. XRP has been here for so long and carried some issues but still survive. Meaning, XRP supporters had never given up and they continue supporting this project because honestly, we use to benefit from the cheap cost of transaction fees that we never experience in other projects. The goal of XRP is not to be the number one least, they also have the reason why still keeping alive and doing their job. So let this FOMO grow, we choose the right coin instead.
