881  Bitcoin / Project Development / Looking for partner w/some site developing skills on: May 16, 2013, 03:03:40 AM
I have a domain, a basic site, and other things in the works for the projects I'm working on. I believe that if executed properly, the site would be very lucrative. I'm looking for a partner with some good site developing skills. I would basically take care of the rest. I would be happy w/a 60% (me), 40% split-since this project would only require your time. If you're interested, please send me a PM. I'd like to see some sites you;ve done in the past, consider that your "resume" lol. *I don't want to be a dick but I will only reply to the person I feel best fits what I'm looking for; I don't want to reveal details of the site to everybody. Thank you for understanding.*
882  Economy / Goods / Want to Trade: 1oz Silver Pieces for 3 or 5oz Piece on: May 16, 2013, 02:58:35 AM
I have a good supply of silver, all in the form of 1oz. I have rounds (primarily national mints) and bars (even one of those silver bullets Wink. I am looking to consolidate some of them into a 3 or 5oz piece. The trade would actually be to your advantage, as you could collect a premium 3x or 5x instead of just once. If anybody is interested, please PM me.
883  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying/Selling Exotic Cars (Through Broker) on: May 16, 2013, 01:57:31 AM
I can't believe this, at least it was found before anyone lost any money.

LMAO if anyone lost money they deserved it is funny to look in my unread threads and catch up, but yeah we all called this scam about a week ago when he first posted LOL After that anyone wanted to take the risk that was their fault.
I'm with you. If someone is selling something and the overwhelming (80%+) of the posts on their thread is accusing them [rightfully] as a scammer, and the OP is responding, essentially creating your stereotypical internet "debate", you should stay away. Especially since these "transactions" would have been in the six-figure range. This guy was an idiot, so I don't think anyone would have been dumb enough to send him money. But, in exposing scammers you have to consider the lowest common denominator-some people really are kind of dumb, and therefore very prone to being taken advantage of. That's why its always good to be suspisious and question the poster, even if you're not interested in whatever it is their pushing. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to the welfare of people and their money. Idiots will be idiots, and fall for a scam. But, if I can prevent that by questioning the OP, I will. Have to look out for the least-common denominator.
884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: May 16, 2013, 01:20:06 AM
I request that you expedite user "mdmx" out of newbie mode. He (by sending me a message) provided the info needed to officially expose a huge would-be scammer. And, I think he still has some info he wants to share.
885  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying/Selling Exotic Cars (Through Broker) on: May 16, 2013, 01:17:38 AM
I'd like to give the credit to myself, but really it goes to "mdmx" who is still in newbie mode (I think we should ask the mods to expedite him on the whitelist). He created an account just to expose this idiot. Hats off to him.

So what do I win?
I'm happy with the bolded part of the quote, if thats all.
887  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying/Selling Exotic Cars (Through Broker) on: May 16, 2013, 12:49:41 AM
The sign is kind of hard to read, but compare it with this:
http://www.autotraderuae.com/index.php?go=showroom&id=22699&car_showroom=Diablo%20Motors
and there is absolutely no question.
Go away now.
888  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying/Selling Exotic Cars (Through Broker) on: May 16, 2013, 12:43:40 AM
Hey, Guess What?!
You might not be getting these pictures from a Google search, but these are 100% NOT pictures taken of ANY car in Beverly Hills. A new user messaged me (he registered just so he could call you on this scam, but he's still in newbie mode). He said that this picture:
https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/582472_520130861354989_1096483340_n.jpg
is of his friend's dealership in DUBAI, as in NOT BEVERLY HILLS. Its called "Diablto Motors" and if you look closely at the picture (above middle car in background) you can see a reflection with that sign.

Now will you leave us alone? You are hands down the worst scammer I have ever seen. I don't understand why this is at the level its at. When more than 50% of the time is damage control...you can probably bet your name is mud and that you will NEVER "sell" a car here. I suppose you can keep trying if you want, but eventually we'll lost interest.
889  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying/Selling Exotic Cars (Through Broker) on: May 15, 2013, 10:40:16 AM
Again, I ask the simple question: why are you still here?
You're obviously not going to sell a single car, and your entire thread is filled with either jabs at you or jabs at them by you.
SO, I ASK: DO YOU STILL THINK YOU WILL SELL EVEN 1 CAR? BE OBJECTIVE-THE ANSWER IS NO. SO WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE???
890  Economy / Economics / Knowledge check: If a government had only 2 functions, what would they be? on: May 15, 2013, 10:14:00 AM
First of all, there is technically a "right"answer. That is, according to a highly-knowledgeable  economist (Oxford/Cambridge). I wish I remembered his name, I REALLY do. He said he was an all-out libertarian, bordering on anarchist (he lol'd). I am also a Libertarian (maybe not as fanatic as him, but I am one) so I liked listening to him.

One thing he said has been on my mind for close to a week now. He said that we as a nation would thrive and be most free if our government only had 2 functions. The invisible hand, he said would take care of the rest.

So what do you guys think? I don't think he's crazy. Either way, post what you think those 2 functions are and later I'll reveal the answer (again, according to him).

Lets have a FUN (no computer screen drama) debate over politics and whatever else this brings up! Smiley
891  Economy / Goods / Re: Coinabul down on: May 15, 2013, 07:27:06 AM
Luckily there are many other better options  Wink
Was literally going to mention you guys. Didn't Coinabul take a bunch of people's money?

That's correct.

A lot of people, I think 5+ members posted losing HUGE amounts of money to them.
Maybe I'm missing something then...but why the HELL would anyone still give them their business?

895  Economy / Goods / Re: Cuba's Havana Club Rum-Anejo Especial *Their Premium Rum* NOT Available in US on: May 15, 2013, 03:59:48 AM
I can get it. And yes, I can get Cubans. Though, I have to do some research before I start buying any of those, there's fakes everywhere.
896  Economy / Goods / Re: Series 2 and 3 Casascius 1 BTC Physical Bitcoins on: May 15, 2013, 03:57:38 AM
Do you use an escrow system?
Sure I could do escrow through a trusted user. I'll refer you to this listing though, I've sold off my Series 2 and 3

Waiting for some fund to clear. Once they do, I'll pick it up   Smiley
Awesome. The faster you get the funds the lower I'll make the price for you.
898  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Assorted VHS tapes for ANY (active) Cryptocoin! (Updated! List of Movies!) on: May 15, 2013, 01:05:49 AM
What's a VHS tape?
On another note, this is starting to look like the Craigslist Free section.
To OP: No offense, but people probably won't appreciate you posting every earthly possession (pennies and VHS tapes? no offense, but come on) you have in desperate pursuit of cryptocoins.
899  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius Collection: A LOT of 2011 1BTC w/spelling error on: May 15, 2013, 01:01:12 AM
I am selling what you see pictured. The price is non-negotiable. I do not offer discounts for multiple coins, either. If they don't sell, its just as well holding onto them. You can think the price is a bit high, but be advised that they have been selling on eBay for $1,000 (highest I saw) or at least close to $1,000 each.
So, 1 2011 1BTC coin is 7.1BTC including trackable, insured shipping anywhere in the US. If you are international, the price is 7.25 BTC for insured, trackable shipping.

Actually selling a 5 BTC Series 1 coin, too. Just as well to keep the 2012 5 BTC. Might as well take advantage of that spelling error. PM if interested.
