921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 14, 2021, 10:29:46 PM
It may really have beneficial effects, from my personal experience, knowing what your team can and can't do gives you this sense of confidence in terms of calculating whether they would win against a certain team or not, allowing you to make educated guesses and decisions which is really integral in the betting world.
Most of the answers here say about experience or knowledge on the team or the game.

I am kind of curious if there are some bettors here that go against that knowledge? I mean, for example, a team that is expected to dominate that certain season fighting against a not that strong team but you still went for the underdog team. Maybe for the thrill or just maybe for the odds that could give you big winnings if that team actually wins.

Did it a lot of times in an esports tournament but it did not go well.
This could be the case for some, especially those who extensively researched the capabilities of the team they are originally rooting for, I can confirm since I tried this too, and I must say, it helped me not to be trolled by fate royally.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: February 13, 2021, 10:31:41 PM
The more people, countries, and prominent entities and figure accept bitcoin in one way or another only in that way could we secure bitcoin's future disposition in the society, since it heavily relies on people's opinion about it, so far we're seeing great promise since more and more people, countries especially those who have ditched their currency like Venezuela are starting to use bitcoin as a mode of payment and mode of income too.
There's been a lot of speculation about Bitcoin. It's been a crazy rollercoaster ride. But what exactly is the future of Bitcoin?

Bitcoin frees us from the power of banks to hold or freeze our accounts for whatever reason. Bitcoin allows us control over our finances, the way it should be. Bitcoin is the perfect fit for this digital age where technology is the new norm. If you need money, you can simply access it through your phone.

Bitcoin provides opportunity and financial inclusion for unbanked people. Bitcoin is already making a huge impact in the world. Schools in Africa are even being built with the help of crypto. Crypto is everywhere now

Now that's just one of the many opportunities that Bitcoin can bring. Just imagine a future where bitcoin is universally accepted. although bitcoin is just another “pump and dump” scheme. Maybe bitcoin will down after 1-2year then it will pump again it will break all past records.

Well put, The possibilities are indeed limitless when it comes to bitcoin. However, we have to understand that as of the moment, it is mostly used to make an earning out of, so it could really be possible that bitcoin might remain as such, at least to the society's eyes.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: Economist predicts demise of global central banks on: February 13, 2021, 10:24:43 PM
This is immiment and is getting ever closer by the day. Spearheaded by conflicts from different countries, loans taken by different countries that weren't expected to be paid in any way whatsoever, in time the Global Central Banks wouldn't be able to hold this as they continue to bleed money, and would then be the cause of their downfall. Now there are only two situations we are looking at, we either get crapped instantly, or instantly and for a long-ass time. And that would depend if countries would have a reserve.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: shittiest soft ware ever!! on: February 13, 2021, 10:18:56 PM
Terms and conditions are indeed supposed to be disclosed to the customer for everything that would involve the customer paying the casino or anything that concerns money really. That being said, it is also known by many that almost everyone is not reading the terms and conditions and would just opt to skip it to get straight to the betting, I know this isn't the case for some people but you have to understand that this is the greater majority's behavior. For sure they will opt you to have the terms and conditions be disclosed somewhere but not in situations where the customer eould find it annoying, or better yet, don't bet on sites like this.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk shill for DOGE on: February 10, 2021, 10:56:54 PM
He shilled, that's the bottomline, and he shilled because he's memeing around. There's no future in DOGE besides it being a very good stablecoin and a meme token, and because it's a meme token Elon, a memer himself, decided to talk about it on his twitter account. That's it everybody, Elon is not as calculated as some of you guys think he is and at times may think like the average Facebook shitposter.
I believe that Elon Musk knows that Dogcoin will rise in value soon. And, like an ordinary person, Elon Musk is investing in the promising Dogcoin. And believe me, this is a very correct decision, the lower the price of Dogcoin now, the more Dogcoin you can buy. At the moment, cryptocurrency is becoming very popular and requires a lot of attention. So you need to follow the news and invest as much as possible in a promising crypto coin.
There's no way Doge will become as valuable as any other coin in the market today. The coin is meant to be a meme token, and a stablecoin. Stablecoins have a different nature and environment than bitcoin and other cryptos, so things like buying the dump will not work because it will always be dumping, especially in the case of DOGE.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Usa new currency digital dollar soon on: February 10, 2021, 10:51:10 PM
Guys, I cannot emphasize this enough, printing more money or in this case creatung more money does not mean becoming richer. And even if the US government does venturr in the crypto and decides to create their own token, it's going to be pooled into their supply otherwise the USD will be inflated and will not be as powerful as it is now. So no, I do not think this will solve their economic issue.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest Man in Mexico Updates his Twitter Bio to Include Bitcoin on: February 10, 2021, 10:45:54 PM
The free publicity is good and all but I'm kinda not biying the fact that a lot of corporations, and basically wealthy and influential personalities who are buying bitcoin and crypto now. Sure it is good for the economy of bitcoin and promotes adoption and acceptance pf the public, but the more people whaling on bitcoins the less power us small-time investors will have over them. In the end, capitalism will take over once again.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: I wamt to know everybody know that collapse amd finamcial crash coming on: February 10, 2021, 09:58:17 PM
As funny as I think the idea of a financial collapse nearing is, I also don't wanna take my chances and would like to be sure that in the offest chance that it does happen, I have a backup that will keep me from collapsing too. An economist said that in the case of war, cash will be your best bet for purchasing goods since technology will be halted and will instead be pooled into the creation of weapons of mass destruction, so that's one tip I can leave you.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 Billion in Bitcoin! on: February 10, 2021, 09:53:51 PM
Funny how he did this after shilling DOGE in his twitter. Nevertheless, this only earned him the praise of the Reddit Community who already sees him as the Tony Stark of this Generation, not understanding that the guy is literally memeing all this time.

Now in the case of this 1.5 Billion Dollar bitcoin purchase, one can easily he's a visionary and saw great future for bitcoin, which I think is true. But I can also see him building or already mobilizing an ulterior motive which may not be as altruistic as most people think it is.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: February 10, 2021, 09:38:05 PM
It all depends on what kind of gambler you are. If you just make occasional bets, just for fun - it will be more convenient to do it without intermediaries, and, like you said, with a betting broker most likely you'd have to make a bigger deposit.
But if you gamble on an ongoing basis - it'll be very time-consuming and tiring to make deposits on various websites and search for the best odds.
This is clearly meant for the tryharders who would want to gain more money, as casual players wouldn't even bat an eye to a broker since they're just in the game for a good time in the first place, so no point in paying dxtra for a broker when you can bet by yourself anyway.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So lets talk honest now about btc on: February 09, 2021, 11:21:55 PM
Bitcoin is not as easy as you may think of it. Sure the profitd are really big but it takes a lot of patience and effort to earn a considerable amount of money in here, else you're not gonna get anywhere with it. That being said, one of the best ways to earn here is through hodling. A lot of people actually earned money up into the thousands just by simply holding their investments. Provided that you have patience, you can use this technique.
932  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: February 09, 2021, 10:49:08 PM
Paradoxically, the current economic crash caused bitcoin and other prominent cryprocurrency to increase in value. Well, it may not be solely caused by the crash and may as well be just coincidental. But then again, this drop in the value of dollars vauaed big-time corporations to drop their funds into crypto, in hopes of saving its purchasing power, which in turn then caused bitcoin to spike up in value.

I can see this happening yet again in the near future.
933  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: February 09, 2021, 10:45:59 PM
KYC, as in Know Your Customer? By how means will this lead more people to choose banks over crypto? I mean, the main reason bitcoin and other cryptos are a big thing right now is because it is anonymous, with little to no KYC. Plus KYC is not gonna give the banks more money, it's circulation from the government.

Weird post, man.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 09, 2021, 09:51:54 PM
Wait that is a very harsh ordinance, especially for the gambling industry who of course will rely on advertisements to gather customers. Even a bit unfair considering the fact that they still will be allowing major brands and companies who actively abuse people in their production factories and floors rather than a few rather than a few honest to living people who opted to set a gambling den.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I messed up and feel terrible about it on: February 09, 2021, 09:47:36 PM
I can see this bwing your first time experiencing this huge regret after a wrong decision made. Don't worry, you are getting there my brother. This will not be the last of your mistakes in the cryptocurrency investment industry, but you should also keep in mind that there will be more winnings in the future, provided that for every mistake you commit, you learn something new which in turn is applied in your future decisions.
You're not alone because we all have that kind of experience. We usually fail and learn from it. You actually did a good job because you still got a good profit. Always keep in mind that a profit is still a profit no matter how small it is. There are still lots of chances for you to reinvest again so don't feel bad about your experience.
Definitely, look at the bright side just like what they say.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Will Crypto Regulation In South Africa Work Compared To Other Countries on: February 09, 2021, 09:42:57 PM
Cryoto and a country would have to mert halfway in irder to coexist and be of use to their customers and people, South Africa, being one of the most progressive countries when it comes to cryptocurrency must know about this, so instead of a total ban, they figured it would be much more optimal if they were to impose regulations on if instead, which is a wise move and something that I see a lot of countries out there applying for themselves
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC back to All time high ..did you buy ? on: February 08, 2021, 10:55:28 PM
Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy any cryptocurrencies lately because of the stupid transaction fees you will pay in doing so. I wish I could've took advantage of this bullrun and have gained more profits but I wasn't, so obviously FOMO is overcoming my decisions right now. Still happy for those who were able to enjoy this ATH courtesy of Elon Musk.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's not a good rise, actually it's bad on: February 08, 2021, 10:53:16 PM
It's quite unlikely since he's a man of his word and rarely retracts his statements, despite him being a memelord on twitter and on the internet. That being said, in the off chance that he does retract his support of bitcoin and instead goes against it, we will not have a good time. Honestly what scares me right now is the fact that there are increasing number of corporations investing a huge amount of money into bitcoin, which is definitely bad for us small-time investors.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria government did not ban bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 09:41:36 PM
It's a very vague rule if I may say. Like, you can conduct your business with bitcoin and other prominent cryprocurrency in the market on Nigerian Soil, but not conduct business with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in Nigeria. If they wouldn't make it clear and easier to undwrstand for people, then they'll have trouble trying to impose this rule on the people.
I'm not sure about the rules because when there are no banks that accept crypto it means no local exchanges are available, it's like killing slowly. Instead of making confusing rules it seems it would be better to make rules about a full ban, because when a local bank is prohibited from cooperating it basically prohibits any use and / or transaction with bitcoin. But as bitcoin continues to grow, I only hope that the rules will be changed soon, at least bitcoin is safe and legal to trade in that country.
Too bad as I see bitcoin helping these countries the most. Now they're trying to cut down a valuable rope. That being said, that's what I have said, make it more concise and simple for people to understand it better.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy to grow at 11.5% in 2021 say IMF on: February 08, 2021, 09:37:16 PM
Is this the realization of the "India Superpower by 2021" meme?

Jokes aside, the world has always seen India as a melting pot of both the positives and negatives of the human condition, on one part, we see uneducated people who have trouble even using a proper toilet seat, while on the other hand, a progressive and promising country shines upon the world. If I must say, this is interesting, and I'd like to watch the country grow more, not only in the economic sector, but in the people sector too.
