941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 04:27:36 PM
It's called a heater mate.

You are supposed to keep playing on the heater until you meet a cold section. Most of us especially me, sometimes on the heater not only keep playing but raise the bet by maybe 20-50%. In the heater, you can turn on for 2-4 weeks lose back to even with just a single section. One things people should aware, just need to set up a limit win and stop while you got cold section (streak/multiple lose) after your heater.

Yes, the chance are same but one things people should learn keep doing/bet on heater until you lose after keep betting + raise your bet and then bet back to original bet. That's it, and then call the day.

some of the gamblers however don't stop as they hope to keep winning.  i think everyone feels lucky when we win 3-4 times in a row and if happens after every 1 loss, its really a time to increase the bets.

the martingale strategy looks very fun to try when you are new to gambling actually and you always feel lucky when you try it. the more you win the more you wanted to start with more than the usual starting amount.
942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see repeat of 2017 or new trend? on: December 11, 2023, 08:36:26 PM

that was a bull run where the majority shitcoins turned gold. there were unknown coins where the price hit $0.13 and if you have 5 million of them and you hold hoping to go more than $0.13 in the net bull run, you surely haave regrets by now. a good amount of unrealized profit lost.

things turned bad after china banning, google and facebook bans advertising and crashed the market to $3800/BTC, a good opportunity for those who have converted their profit to stablecoin.

if this happens again, make sure you won't waste the opportunity.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 11, 2023, 08:07:46 PM
Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

For them it's about your addiction, and that's what brings in more money, and I am here to announce to you that time fixation is also a good way in gambling, spending 20 minutes in casino a day is better than someone who spend 1 hour.

One can actually lose everything he's got within a minute of settling down to gamble while the person who spent hours gambling will go home losing very little amounts or nothing at all. So, it is not about how long you spend gambling but how much you spend while gambling. This then brings us to a solution; setting gambling budgets. Once he has fixed amount to gamble with and he is also disciplined enough to stick to his gambling budget, he can gamble as much as he wants and still go home intact.

It is only a gambler who has no other job that will spend the whole day gambling. Once you have have a job aside gambling,  managing your time to accommodate your job, your gambling and any other activity will be easier.

no amount of time can make you rich when you play casino games but while we already conclude this, maybe we should just bet the whole bankroll we have to bet in just one binary game win or lose after all you spend a minute or 5 hours in a casino you will still end up losing when you come back. that seems not a bad idea than wasting a lot of time in a casino when there are more things to do.  Cheesy

the miner game actually for me, i can spend hours playing the game. lost some money and then logout happy. it is still luck-based but it felt like i died several times and come back to life again.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last message from Satoshi 13years ago. on: December 11, 2023, 07:10:32 PM
Very interesting review. If I read, it seems there is a special good moral message shown by the creator of Bitcoin in this case Satoshi. Now. As for the final results, we still don't know what the future will look like if we look at it in the long term. But, if someone is a typical conservative investor, perhaps he would prefer to stay away from BTC and prefer stable and secure assets, Maybe the reason, he sees the consensus system and the potential for blockchain splitting even though it is considered for its initial improvements in BTC.
Why should we take moral messages from Satoshi? Not communicating at all is not a moral message. It is an ambiguous message that should be treated just like that. What if Satoshi died? What if Satoshi lost his private key and is too embarrassed to let anyone know this? What if Satoshi was too f@#$ing fed up with the Bitcoin community for their asinine behavior? I certainly am. Satoshi could have simply been upset about how people were using Bitcoin for nefarious purposes and wanted no part in it. What if Satoshi was embarrassed that he could not design Bitcoin with a mining algorithm that advanced science as well as established secure decentralized consensus? What if Satoshi did not want to reveal his identity because he was really fat and ugly (and maybe he died of obesity too)?

This sort of hero worship is antithetical to the principles of Bitcoin. Hero worship is also antithetical to sound judgment because if are worshipping their heros, they cannot be critical of this ideal in any way.

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

what sort of abomination is this?
so many users have been trying to learn his identity since then and one thing they discovered is that he uses some bloody words that are often spoken by Londoners. so perhaps you shut your cunt mouth up.

well, we all wanted to know what happened to him and whether he still has access to the millions of BTC. if he is venturing into more complex ideas, i hope he is not one of those WEF guys, those guys certainly have the most complex ideas to kill us all.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are slots hard to understand on purpose? on: December 11, 2023, 06:53:10 PM
In my opinion, in games of chance where the person to win depends on luck, the person does not need to read a lot of information that is not related to the rules of the game, this is because it doesn't matter what the person reads, at the end of the day what matters will be whether that person will be lucky to win or not. In games of chance that depend on luck, the person does not create a strategy, it does not exist. The person doesn't analyze the game, and it's useless. The person just puts money in and clicks on start and waits to see if they will be lucky enough to win, that's all. That's why I don't like and don't play gambling games that depend on luck for a person to win. I remember when I decided to try gambling games that depend on luck for the person to win

I started with plinko, I didn't research anything about what rtp means, I just deposited money and started playing, I spent 2 hours playing and I had already made 3x of my money that I had deposited, but to my dismay I started to have sequences of defeats, I couldn't believe that the money in my account kept falling, there were sections of consecutive losses and even if I got it right once, then lost 4 to 5 times in a row, 5 hours had already passed since I was playing, normally I only play 1 hour a week when I bet on sports, but that day I had already played 5 hours, that's when I decided to stop and told myself that I no longer play gambling games that depend on luck

that's why casinos don't haave clocks because people realize they killed so many hours sitting on a slot machine.
but in online casinos, i still play these slots sometimes. it's still fun and though i visit stake often to bet on sports, gambling games still is attractive because of the unpredictable rewards.

i think casinos already studied human behavior and how we react to the rewards on slot. not just casinos but tech companies like Microsoft or Facebook already have their study of human behavior about casinos that's why in traditional casinos, it's the slot that is the first we see upon entering.

946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Know The First Times Bitcoin Ever Had Real World Value? on: December 11, 2023, 06:31:53 PM

i've seen some old threads and giveaways. but even as old as 2014 there were already lots of people scamming and impostors are common. someone even used the username THEYRNOS (Theyrnos) to deceive someone.

but haven't heard of that alpaca kid. if he made lots of coins as early as 200BTC/$ then it makes sense to keep their identity private.
the old thread mostly viewed this time i guess is Satoshi's first posts. probably analyzing his thoughts again trying to identify him.
947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The coin mixer advertised here stole my coins on: December 11, 2023, 06:11:35 PM
Does the mixer you used not have a name? Moved your post to scam accusation board and make a good thread there because right now your post is good as nothing, no name, no proof that you actually sent a coin to the mixer, no proof that your coin actually met the minimum amount that can be mixed…

If you want good response and possibly solution to your issue then do the needful by editing and adding the necessary information.

Edit2:

Code:
 [b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

This is the proper format you’re supposed to use.

I don't remember it's name. It might have had "monkey" in its name. It's not the one being advertised now (or maybe it still is but it is not appearing to me). I'm sure there aren't hundreds of mixers that advertised here so if you or anyone can list the ones that advertised here, I am certain seeing the name again would ring a bell. This was last year. The amount they took was $7 worth at the time. I remember I was going make a post at the time but was procrastinating because of the effort I had to put in into making a thorough post (because I was really pissed at the time and I wanted to make a really good post) but obviously I never got to it. I emailed them when it happened but they didn't get back to me.

Right now I was looking into using a mixer again and while posting my last post I realized there is another mixer being advertised here. I was going to make a post titled "Are mixers %100 effective?"...my footnote of this post...but then my previous experience came back to me so the title and post changed.

I'm also certain I am not the only one this happened to so I guess the purpose of this post is just to put it out there and see what others experiences were, if they manages to get their money back, how, what happened to that site...etc.

i know it's none of my business as how much you want to mix but you mixed $7 worth of BTC last year and you only complain today not even remembering the name of the mixer. no way you can move this to the scam accusation forum

well like they said it is already considered a donation. they couldn't stop you from sending the coins though so it's not their fault that they accepted it. maybe they will consider returning if you immediately let them know.

948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: December 11, 2023, 05:56:09 PM
~

Leaving poll numbers on one side and also the manipulation which the medie of both sides could be trying to push into the heads and minds of the American public. Is it my imagination or Trump's odds have actually increased since the end of this summer? I know he has always been under Biden's odds, but I have got the impression Trump's were lower before.
If that is indeed true, I would say it has something to do with the exit of the campaign of several Republican políticians and also the discomfort Biden may be provoking with his immigration policy and the handling of the middle east conflict.
Swing voters have start to consider to vote null or even vote for Trump (the latter is less likely though).
Still, the lastest Republican underperforming elections may guide me to bet in favor of Biden...

You are not mistaken. Trump's odds, in the sense that he has more chances to win from gamblers' point of view, have increased since Summer. He was behind Biden for many months, and now look at this:

The situation is almost identical on many sports betting sites:

Do I think Trump will win? No. But I can't ignore the reality.

To me, it is a signal that bettors and users of casinos had a early impression about Trump chances, they may have assumed that even though Trump could easily secure his nomination for the Republican party, they did not actually see a reliable Presidential candidate to take over the Biden's Administration. It seems that now things have changed in the midset of those but betted for Biden and those who were not considering to do so for Trump.
Basically, many of those people wait for the polling to give them some clue on where they are supposed to put their money, in the case they wish to have bigger and better chances, however, I have come to the conclusion the American political landscape is going through an era where polling cannot be as trusted as people used to. After all, we have seen several times in a row how polls give Republicans an advantage over Democrats in the lastest local and midterm elections, fruitlessly to the dismay of Republicans.

So I do not know what to make out of this, bettors may feel this incoming election will be different or there has been some rumors on both candidates' campaign strategies I have not read about.

with the rise of populists, polls can't be trusted but maybe because it's just too early to see who the masses want. Raamaswy slamming those guys in the debate is just not going to make them win an audience but he seems not among the top.

Trump now 2.50 is like a sign to cast your bet but bettors may just hold yet because it's still unsure whether he could go to jail or not.
there will be a surprise candidate for sure, Tucker Carlson is very popular and he seems to be speaking everywhere like he will be running.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are slots hard to understand on purpose? on: December 10, 2023, 08:50:10 PM
...//::.

There is a non-tangible or measurable variable in slots that is "intuition", be carefule, it will bother/loss (money) to you balance, without a doubt, but in my case with certain providers one can intuit that the x1000 is coming. Smiley

Now this type of "intuition" It is very dangerous, it is in the limits for someone to lose control, which is not something you to do, so that they do not break your "balls" simply set restrictions on spins or time, or losses, even profits, "tomorrow" is always a nice day to continue the game section.

Now in verifiable variables,  and depending on the casino or the provider, you can know info/data on it slot. Ok, with that data there is always a doubt they correspond to your section of play or the casino, but regardless of this, following a pre-established plan is better than thinking about whether my multiplier is already coming or if the RTP is being met, or those ideas that you come up with OP, it's a slot, it just spins.  Cool

you mean the unpredictable rewards. yes you could win just $2 and still win and you could even win a life-changing reward. it's why the slot is more addicting than any other game. this is why slots are everywhere even in gasoline stations.

the funny part is that when you bet $1 and then you win $0.50, you still think you win.  Grin

but it's the repeating task that drives you to keep on playing. let's say within a minute, you could hope to win 20 times. that's gonna drive an addict's dope.

950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 10, 2023, 08:06:58 PM
Both should but it is not practical to choose a side saying he should quit or she should quit. As parents both of them have the equal responsibilities towards their children. As a matter of fact quitting gambling was never a simple thing. Without strong will power it's not possible. If a person doesn't understand what's good or bad for them then there is no telling him or advising him. It would mean a waste of time. So rather than arguing who should quit, we should try to make some sense in their mind.

if they don't understand their situation, the more the adult in the room is needed for both to see where their ship is going. although it's hard to stop a habit abruptly, this will be needed at least for one of them.

this is just a situation given by OP though. but if there is a real couple with kids and still are gambling together. i would be amazed mixed with awe by how far their relationship had come.
951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whas this a smart move or stupid move? on: December 10, 2023, 07:50:33 PM
Fee's was fine, sold around 60M Bonk bought back 63.6M for the same price later. Could have got even more but was a bit slow, damn I start to enjoy this more and more guys. Thanks for helping me.  Wink

Bonk is the most popular memecoin in SOL, i don't even know if there are other memecoin in SOL but it could go higher after the dip. Just like any other shitcoin during the bull run, they will rise.

looking at the most popular memecoin like SHIB and Doge. The SNEK memecoin in Cardano will likely rise too since this is the most popular in their ecosystem.
smart move to sell while the price is high. if it dips to $0.0000088 i would probably buy back, this is if i were you or even at $0.000009 looks like the support line.
952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 10, 2023, 06:37:01 PM
Nothing good comes easy, so if we must succeed in trading even as experience as we are, we must keep on putting in the work to learn more, so that we can be a better trader and reap the rewards of our work.

I’m a seasonal trader for so many years yet I’m still experiencing losses on trading due to crypto volatility. Trading cryptocurrency is a work in progress until the end because the price action is always unpredictable even how good your TA is due to manipulation and other factors that can result sudden movement on the price.

That’s why holding is far better than trading on crypto because the price action is stressful while the price always pumping long term especially in Bitcoin. You can guarantee profit and less stress if we just hold on Bitcoin instead of trading it or any altcoins.
trading isn't so easy that an experienced person will only keep making profit in a certain time, it's not like that,
if you have 10 years experienced in trading but still there is a possibility that you will be big loses here,
newbie can holding bitcoin in the long term it's absolutely batter than trading, but they started in altcoins,

holding is the easiest that even when you hold a failed shitcoin in the bull market, you still can make money as long as your timing is on point. you buy in and sell just right.

trading in the bull market can be easy though. i think it's just timing like he said seasons can be favorable for newbies.
the bull season can be a good opportunity to trade by just buying when coins dip and selling when price soar up to the overbought level.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: December 10, 2023, 05:51:57 PM

GOLD is the first stablecoin with 100% liquidity. We have 7200 tokens secured with 7200 grams of gold in the vault. We are ready to redeem all tokens back at any time. If you know another token backed by gold with strong liquidity, please give us a link to that coin.

Digital Gold is token backed by physical gold. Digital Coin is not a gold mining facility. Please read the website and/or project description in the first post.
https://gold.storage (https://gold.storage)
Wow! I don't know that Gold is a stablecoin oh. And whenever gold is discussed I always discussed it as a natural resource or asset and not from the angle of cryptocurrency. If the Total number of token of gold is 7200 then the supply will be too small for investment for many. And I have not invested in this coin so I don't know how it works and the value of the coin. I normally see gold in trading view but I wasn't thinking that it was a coin.

Okay so the digital gold is with alongside with the digital gold then that means it is a Centralized project.

when it says backed by physical gold.  the investors wouldn't dive for that fact all because of a claim. especially when the storage is unknown and whoever holds the physical gold. people could be trading all year around not knowing the gold disappeared from the vault.

you'd only know when it's too late to sell.
who could you trust in this time of crisis when every government today wants to steal money from its citizens. stablecoins can even be frozen.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy on: December 10, 2023, 05:39:07 PM

the bull run hasn't peaked yet. there is more room for growth. the halving wasn't even here yet and it means altcoins could exceed their ATH by probably more than 300%.
SOL's AATH was $250 and by the peak of the bull market, it could go as high as $750.

seeing SOL though is $70+, you might just find another with high potential but also a top coin in the market with a low market cap. my suggestion is Matic. this could be huge when they finally have positive news.

955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Vulnerability that allowed Ordinals to exist now has its own CVE code on: December 10, 2023, 05:24:25 PM

won't this cause a fork since there are also people who supported ordinals?

more than $20 for a transaction fee is too much and you already throw the division on bigger blocks and the non-supporters of it. they would either see it as a feature.
and miners due to the incentive will not mind the ordinals. the more it exists, the higher the profits to get.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 10, 2023, 04:50:15 PM
You're right that they do analyze it, but also other gamblers do that. Let's say you have 10 people betting on a boxing match and 8 of them try to do some work and check what pros like coaches, commentators and other boxers say about the fight and who according to them is favoured. Most of them will bet on the one that's more likely to win, up until there's huge money to be won if you bet against him, in which case people will start to balance it out, betting against the favored fighter. In the end, you'll clearly see the favored player and also be unable to make too much by betting against him.
Most of the time you can simply choose if you want to swim with or against the current depending on how you feel about the match and you don't have to analyze anything.

if we are talking about the favorite fighter, the bettors will more likely to bet on them and the risk taker will choose the winning by method or which round the fight ends to which is where they will analyze the most.

some of us don't bother analyzing when there is a huge gap between fighters' skills where the underdog is pretty much unknown and 90% chance he could just fall to the ground with a jab.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 10, 2023, 03:23:50 PM
Can you guys give me your comments please on Alexandre Pantoja. I am not very familiar with flyweight division guy. Dont know much who he is. He took the belt from Moreno. So what? Was is skill? Luck? Or Moreno was sich that day? I can check Pantoja record, but that will be just paper math. I can google him, but that will be highlights mostly.

he lost a fight with Figue but won twice against Moreno, these 2 wins could be the substance in many discussions but because it's not very impressive i guess he just got lucky twice.

observation shows we don't appreciate MMA fighters who are up to controlling the fights, those fighters who has control over the fight are not impressive cause we always want to see fighters who can KO with their hooks. in their fight, Monero has to keep his guard all the time. he will do the same with Brandon Royval.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: December 09, 2023, 08:27:51 PM
Many people hope that meme coin can be like Doge, therefore they really hope that there is a right time to invest. Even though it is possible, it is difficult to happen. If we believe that the Meme coins we own will have a high price, then starting to invest now will be the same as starting to invest in the future. however, we don't know when this coin will actually have a high price. the risk is still very large, and the price could drop to very low.
Yes that's right. Many people buy meme coins, even newly launched meme coins, because they hope something like Doge will happen, or maybe they buy meme coins so they don't regret it like before because they were late in buying Doge. In the end, Doge rose so high, so they want to take advantage of this moment, hoping it will happen again like this. doge at the moment.

Suggestions like this are what make many people buy meme coins with high hopes, of course this is not wrong, it's just that they have to be prepared for the risks that might occur. Always use money that is ready in case of loss.

imagine the profit when you buy billions of SNEK worth just 100 ADA and then when the price of SNEK will be at least just $0.001 this is beyond profit you'd almost be guilty of scamming but you are doing it legally by investing in a meme coin.

it's why i like Doge for being just a joke, it ends up being decentralized too, and widely accepted by casinos and exchanges. i don't think it fits calling doge a shitcoin. its pow and like BTC, its owner also out of the project. he is never in control.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: December 09, 2023, 08:21:57 PM
Agreed that the thought about tron, i also think that tron is pure shitcoin. But I think we shouldn't totally avoid any altcoin rather keep following the market for opportunities. I think this is the best way. So i don't have such altcoins or i don't personal dislike any altcoin. But I don't like meme related altcoins cause those are pure scam. Although doge is sounds good to me but I'm still confused about shiba inu. So I'll try to avoid shiba inu as possible

the original plan ffor TRON if i remember correctly was that it was supposed to compete with Steemit but it swayed to a different roadmap going to become an L1 project. not sure what happened in the middle but Justin Sun just entertained us with his marketing skills.

But it stayed on top of the CMC though despite it being called shitcoin. it gained many investors for being cheap and fast to send and it became a money-grabbing platform for developers too.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: December 09, 2023, 08:08:14 PM

the bull run is perfect for spot market trading. you don't even have to make it hard on yourself.

i started with small amount as well which i only trade when i'm about to sleep just using my phone. i can decide before sleeping and then check when i wake up. if nothing happens just let it be until something comes up like 30% growth. for newbies, spot market trading is the way but still learn the indicators.
