961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 14, 2023, 10:25:31 PM
For somebody who is not completely in the know of DOTA2 and the insight of the professional teams involved but it seems to be a turnstyle with teams leaving and getting replaced more often than on the offseason of Esports.
I had even heard of Boom Esports in the league of DOTA2 play and this is surprising to hear of them disbanding and leaving the scene.
They didn't leave the scene but they have moved from SEA region to SA region. I think that this is like the new meta for those teams that have found no success with their runs for the past years. Honestly, I've seen the glory days of Boom Esports that when they were dominating the lan tournaments and I think they even became a major champ.

But out of nowhere they didn't kept the players that have been good in tandem that had brought them success and then didn't invest that much anymore in building the team. Maybe this run of theirs with the SA players will bring them luck as it's like one easy region for the pro players that they have chosen.
Okay that is great to know they haven't left the scene completely and just playing at a lower tier so to stay competitive enough to be noticed.
Yeah, they just moved and still around on this scene and I think that they have a better edge on that region since there is not that much pro players that manages to get into bigger tournaments there. So, it's like it's always them and beastcoast that always comes in the lan tournaments.

About CS2 teams, I would agree with you there. As there is alot of restructuring of teams with roster changes going on to the major teams right now with G2's Niko wanting to add fellow countryman Nexa to the fold for example.
Instead of what DOTA2 teams do with just cleaning house and starting with a clear slate.
Yeah, it's actually a better move if they do the same with Dota 2 teams. But with what we're seeing, it's like just whole business at all. When the current roster don't perform well, they're sweeping the entire roster and rebuilding it with new players.
That's their decision but good teams are always made through longer relationships and chemistry and that's what I have seen in the past and look at those teams that have been successful in TIs, they're not just the quick rebuilding teams and rosters.

But when I play alone, at the beginning of the game I immediately turn off the sound of all my teammates and never speak myself. This allows me not to listen to screams, curses and receive negativity.  Smiley
Haha dude, you have just said the forbidden technique so that you won't be annoyed with your teammates. Especially when someone who starts to cry at the beginning of the game, it's better to mute them while you coordinate with the ones who wants to play.

I also like to joke that some eSports players come back to the game when they run out of money. Because they are used to spending a lot.
I know who's that, ana?  Tongue The greatest part timer of all tme.

What a strange peak and funny radiance we see in ESL Kuala Lumpur, ahaha, I'll probably watch it a little later. Muerta really banned?) lol
Normally it's banned when they know someone who's good playing at it.

Right now, I am watching the SEA qualifiers for the ESL Kuala Lumpur and the game is with the most hyped SEA team, Blacklist Rivalry against the Team Tough of Mongolia. 29 minutes on the game now and it's like that this is going to be a game for Team Tough as they have spectre and pandaren brewmaster that has both radiance. While for BLR, they've got position 1 templay assasin that seems not going to be appealing on the late game.
That was close for the Team Tough, they're on the lead but one mistake did it all. BLR is now part of the closed qualifier together with Neon Esports that has been qualified today. Only one slot for SEA for the ESL Kuala Lumpur.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 14, 2023, 11:06:18 AM
I thought that he's just a cool and quiet guy. But I understand if he's got heated with the conversation because all of them put passion to the game and that's a normal thing for a team. I have found also in some controversies in the past teams that there were certain players that are also like that.

They can't stop themselves from having that heated argument with their teammates and disagreements after disagreements because they can't help to just be quiet and play the game. But the part of those teams that have cool commands and chat conversations are likely what to be admired of.

We know like players such as Ceb that have been in that cool manner even when the entire team was under pressure. I just wish best of luck to Team Liquid, technically they still have the whole roster just like the past 2 TIs but only replaced by one players going with retirement first with Matumbaman and now with zai.
It’s just that some players are dissatisfied with the actions of their teammates and they begin the process of destroying the atmosphere in the team in exchange for rational and calm communication. I have been seen this when I playing Dota 2 with my friends for many years. There are those who are constantly dissatisfied with everything, and there are those who, under no circumstances, will say anything bad, because we first of all entered the game to have fun. For professional teams, this is the job, it is certainly different, but aggressive statements are present in both cases.
It's normal to see that they react like that, there were teams and players that communicate like that. Remember that even in the pubs, there are toxic players and the way they communicate is very annoying so that's likely typical for some teams and professional players.

By the way, Ceb said for the last time that he was returning to Dota 2. I like watching this guy, especially during OG. All these videos of him setting up the team are just great. I only wish him victories.
Haha, Ceb became a big meme now to the Dota 2 community telling that this is his last Dota 2 journey in the pro scene but if they find success with OG, for sure that it's going to be an extended last journey and so on and so forth. But anyway, still good luck to him.

That DeMar DeRozan pass tonight was absolutely wild. Probably the best assist I’ve ever seen. Google for it if you haven’t seen it. Wild…

Edit: Here’s a link to it on X: https://x.com/bleacherreport/status/1724261168989270437
Although they lost this game, I was able to stand in my seat when I saw that play in shock. That was so good, and can really be one of the plays this time. Giannis as usual is him for this game, easy going inside as seems no one can stop him. Lopez, the typical big guy who does three points, Lillard did well too.

Clippers lost 5 in a row if I am not wrong, that seems like a situaiton that isn't just about Harden, hell Harden wasn't even there when this losing streak started. It's obvious that they are not aware how he plays, they need time to adjust. The team has Westbrook, Harden, Kawhi and PG together, if you ask me which four players would be able to play like this, like have some chaotic presence during the game, I would say these four.
This is what people are telling that not every team that has a lot of superstars becomes so good. It's just like that they're not compatible at all and the same seems to be strong in terms of paper but inside the court, the game changes. LA Clippers' current standing is 3-6 and they're like one in the bottom of the teams now. There is no momentum on them and this is a bad start.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your parent disinherit you eventhough you have not proven to be chronic gambler on: November 14, 2023, 12:11:09 AM
IMHO. It's just best to negotiate with your parents and convince and prove to them that they are wrong with their decision. There are basis as to why they're doing that to you when they're disinheriting you. I know that each side has a story and if that's what they have seen on you for being irresponsible person because they think that you are a gambler as simple that, no matter chronic or not, as long as they base it you being a gambler, you cannot do anything with that.

So, in result, you have to change for the better and get to talk to them and explain that you're also eligible for the inheritance but because of the path that you've gone through, you're no longer chosen on them. Honestly, it's their hardwork that had made them with all of those inheritance and the respect to their decision is even going to give you a chance by showing them that you respect them, the decision that you're not going to be part of the inheritance and so you're just going to move on and change for the better.

I think if you're going to show them the better version of you, you might even considered by them and when they see that you're changing for the betterment of yourself, that can even change their minds and soon who knows if they're going to give you a chance and will give a portion for that inheritance. If you choose to go battle it with legality, you have no chance because it's their own will, money and everything that shall be pass on and they all have the say to give that even to a stranger that they like.

-snip-
Well, I guess that they have been just tested of time and that's why they're able to overcome the feeling of regret. It's not an easy thing if you ask me to manage that if they can really do that and able to become responsible through how they respond to such situations, yes, they can be concluded as responsible gamblers with that and if they're going to correct their mistakes as they gamble.
Yes, that's all not easy to do, while gambling responsibly is very important for gamblers to avoid anything bad from gambling and even if they always make mistakes, as long as they have the hard work to try to gamble responsibly, I'm sure there will be no wasted effort.
There will be no waste for sure to the gamblers that are trying their best to gamble responsibly. But there are times that they forget their main reason for what they are trying to achieve as they gamble. That very momentum of being responsible is becoming gone for some reasons that they can't understand as they don't notice it.

and those who have succeeded in gambling responsibly certainly feel proud of themselves and almost never feel regret when they lose.
Yeah, it's like pride that they're able to manage things that they can't before. And being responsible differs from the situation that we're dealing with. If a gambler manages to do that and they seem to treat that as an achievement, it's something to boost their ego and confidence that the next time they will gamble, it's going to be easier for them to become responsible and they'll practice that. But as a reminder, don't get too confident because you don't know what might happen to you for being so proud.  Grin

Yeah, There’s a lot of team already exit on Dota2 pro scene because it’s not profitable for them anymore since it’s very hard to get sponsorship if your team is always early exit or doesn’t win any tournament including minor tournaments.

Boom esports become a garbage team after their strong line-up before. New team appear and acquire those talented players leaving them no choice to accept mediocre players. I’m not watching frequently E-Sports in general but I watch Dota2 tournaments. I just notice that weaker team especially those who can’t afford acquiring talented roster usually just wasting there money on their player salary without getting in return since it’s very hard to win tournaments in Dota2 since the map is just balance unlike CS:GO which team switch side of the map with different role and advantage/disadvantage on terrain.
I think the idea that most teams have are to aim for those high prizes tournaments. Unlike with CS:2, they've got a better compensation for their players and that's through sponsorships. I have no idea how much the deals they are making with sponsorships especially with the better teams that have made a lot of achievements.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you want to play on casinos without KYC requirements? on: November 13, 2023, 03:38:51 PM
There is no need to have that many reasons why we don't want to gamble in casinos that require us to KYC. We just don't feel that we need to submit KYC just because we want to gamble. And if a casino that we like does that, we have a lot of options in doing so. We can stop using them or be obliged to get on them and continue to gamble with them.

I know that OP is sarcastic here and the majority of us don't like to be subjected to KYC. And it's all about the government trying to do all of those reasonings and if you think that you're okay with that, no one's gonna stop you. But if you feel that your privacy is invaded through that then try to find a casino that won't require you that much.

Also, when a casino is hacked, expect that all of the data has been taken by the hackers including those that have passed on the KYC.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 13, 2023, 12:49:27 PM
They better get Giannis next season or the rest of Steph’s playing days will be wasted.
I agree, they have to secure Giannis once he's done with the Bucks. He has already expressed his thoughts about going with the Golden State Warriors. Well, I guess that we might see this in the upcoming seasons but not this time.

What I didn’t expect is that the Rockets are playing the best ball in the league right now.
They have won against the Nuggets and it's like what every team is hoping for to beat on this season.

Nuggets just lost to Rockets, I thought that was an automatic win for Nuggets but it didn't happen even though Jokic played superbly. Another crazy triple double.
Yeah, they're like the mortal enemy of most of the teams now. Although Nuggets is still on the best standing right now but this win by Rockets against Nuggets seems to an achievement already.

The problems with Clippers seem like can't be solved in the short term, unless there will be a miracle IMO. Harden is too old, too slow and even fat. Although we, here in this topic, or rather everyone everywhere else talk about him a lot, I don't think he worth to be talked about this much. He way past his prime and with all the drama, I don't think he will ever perform freely and as he used to be. I will bet on Nuggets too though.
Well, one solution is being said by the majority is when Harden just get out of the team and find another team that he can pester. Honestly, his last season with Phila was good and he has helped Embiid got the MVP for the east conf.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 13, 2023, 01:17:41 AM
If they have their own ways to help their gamblers deal with gambling addiction, there is no need for them to have that support or sponsor to the ones that deal with it just for them to show how helpful they are and concerned with their gamblers.

pretty sure governments still tax casinos even if they require them by law to donate to charities, tax revenue from casinos is no joke, I doubt governments will pass the chance on getting money from casinos, especially on how big the revenue they bring in each year.
Yes, they're taxed despite knowing the logic and business process of casinos. They are making money off the taxes from the industry and that's why we see governments allowing the operations of the casinos in their cities. Because they add a lot of money to the fund of the city government.

And for those places where they don't allow gambling, it's just for their citizens but they allow the foreigners to gamble because that's where they're taking money. But if there are casinos that do think with these advocacies to show their support, they're all free to do that in or off site because we don't even know what charities they're working with and what are the organizations that they're supporting because many of them are not vocal.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Being rich = not looking at price tag on: November 12, 2023, 11:41:22 PM
This is why some stores don't really target the masses for their products because they're making their products luxurious so that only those that real rich people can afford it and also those trying to be rich will buy it as well. I don't know how it all started but with all of these luxury brands that seems to be authentic adding the experience and rich-feel moment for their customers seems to be effective.

But those that are super wealthy could do that they don't have to look at the tag price. They spend to useless things and that just adds fun to the wealth that they have. However that I think that the majority of them still spend by looking at the price tag and might even react on how expensive a thing is.

They are all different, there are the real rich that don't look at the price tags and there goes the rich class too but lives like broke and reacts to any expensive price tags.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 12, 2023, 10:43:46 PM
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled
Not gonna offend you with this if others don't find it useful. But as we always say, to each their own right. So OP if this is a perfect strategy for you to make you remember that will remind you that money came hard work, that's nice. I have also a suggestion aside from money, you can also use words and stick it on the wall to make you remind about something like this.

I have seen this from those people who lack motivation or looking to follow what they have promised to themselves. As for being responsible in gambling, if this is the best thing that works for you, I'm glad that it works for you and it may work for others too. A good motivation is whatever helps you to be in perfect shape and helps you to remind that you should gamble moderately.

and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.
I haven't tried it so I don't know if that's going to work for me but maybe it will. Don't mind if the others tell that it doesn't work for them because you already know that it's not going to work for them and you have said that they can just give a pass.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: November 12, 2023, 09:44:29 PM
~ The case for most gamblers is that we're starting responsible but when we're already in the middle of it, that's when things change. We want to gamble more even if we don't have money anymore because we've lost a lot of money and we can't accept the fact that we're losers so we chase, we recover and then we lose again. The cycle continues that makes us stuck on that which makes gambling is harder for us because the reality is there but we can't accept it.

So, when a gambler has already lost everything that's when he's going to be knocked by realization that he did the wrong thing. When he's got the opportunity to gamble and then made some profits, he didn't withdraw and stopped.

The key is even if you are chasing your losses, you shouldn't risk more than you can afford to lose. Yes, it might be a painful loss, but not a catastrophic one still. We, gamblers, all have those unfortunate moments, but it's not like we are losing everything and borrow money to gamble more, like irresponsible gamblers do.
Yeah, when we're on that momentum of chasing our losses. It's like that we're accepting any additional amount of losses and that's becoming more painful if we are unaware of it. As long as we get to have the essence of chasing and it's not unlimited and when you think that you have got enough, it's best to stop and don't add more with losses from your pocket.

Yes, actually thinking about the losses that have occurred will only be in vain because we gamble as if we have accepted any risk and on the one hand we already know what those risks are and we are also always reminded that we gamble responsibly so that when we lose we won't lose our money. feel such deep regret.
Meanwhile, people who can overcome feelings of regret are responsible gamblers who bet using money they can afford to lose so it will be very easy to forget what has happened.
Maybe it will be very difficult, but if you get used to being responsible, it will definitely be very easy to do this little thing.

I don't have an idea of how it goes in the actuality with their own conversations and how they're dealing with each other. But prior to their TI title, they're actually a good team and they've got all the best mentality and that's how we a team get the TI title. They're just like a chill team and they're all good with their respective heroes and roles.

And we have to wait for further announcements on how it is going to be with the team and who's going to replace the entire roster because I guess that Topson will also be out of the team or we will get some surprising news from them. Besides that, it's still one of the best teams but having no longer the original team that has taken and lifted the aegis once, this makes them a complete different team these days.
It's actually quite easy to find different videos of the team communicating before or after the game. There you can see the mood of the players, communication, those who behave hot-tempered and undermine the atmosphere in the team. This was mainly done by 33. Today I read his interview in which 33 said that a representative from Liu contacted him several months ago and told him that zai would end his career after the TI. Before TI12, he had no intention of leaving Tundra, but after many misunderstandings and problems in the team, he finally decided to take this step.

Now it’s interesting to see how he will feel in the new team and whether there will be even bigger problems there. In the end, this is the winner of TI11 and you need to treat him with respect)
I thought that he's just a cool and quiet guy. But I understand if he's got heated with the conversation because all of them put passion to the game and that's a normal thing for a team. mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago
Was this a flex?  Cheesy

Many people who started gambling just for fun have become addicted to it. This addiction pushes them towards various vices they start doing bad things to earn gambling money. Gamblers lose control when they repeatedly gamble to win back money lost in gambling.
As everyone says, it's always about fun. It's more of the time that we're having fun but we are not noticing that we're already starting to become addicted. And when that time comes that we're uncontrollable, we are acting like we're not the real us. Those that have been onto that point and were able to lose as much as they can, although it's like OP has got that record from this point and I know that there are others that have lost more than his.

But when you can't control yourself anymore and that's due to you being a compulsive gambler and you can't also accept defeat. You don't know what to do, you'll have hard time recovering from yourself.  And the money that you have lost will not be easy to recover, trust me. Even if I am the type of gambler that don't lose big money but the losses that I have made is like a pain in my heart that can't be healed quickly.
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use bitcoin when gambling? on: November 11, 2023, 10:29:44 PM
With the price of Bitcoin now, it's easier to gamble with it because every sats that's being used for betting seems to be worth it. And you won't mind the quantity on how much it is especially if you're looking at the price and value of it based on USD. That's why it's easier for me if I'll use Bitcoin. But I am not closing doors in the use of other altcoins that doesn't have much value IMO.

I'm done doing fiat gambling but my friends are encouraging me because they're not in crypto casinos and they are not interested on diving here. But the same feeling for me to them that I am no longer interested with it because it's harder to withdraw when you get tracked by the bank or the apps that you mostly use for withdrawals, I might even get a red flag from them because it's known that they don't like source from gambling or casinos.

Also , how did NBA allowed this in first place ? Sure , it looks nice if you're the player but for a TV viewer it's simply awful to watch.  Huh
It's all just about the in-season tournament and they've made that change because they think that there's a need to do so. But honestly, there's really no need for any change.

I'm certain we're not the only ones who didn't like it. When watching the game, it felt like an animated game....LOL. It's not really pleasing to the eyes of the viewers.
I feel that I am watching a live 2K honestly. But we can't do anything with that until the organization reads and the comments reach to them that those court designs suck.

However, as reported, this setup is until December 9, so that's almost a month of enduring the game. If we can't stand watching the game live because of that reason, then I guess we just have to check the scorecards.
That's nice so that's a month that we have to wait and good thing that there's going to be an ending for that type of court. I feel that watching it live is gonna be more terrible than just watching it on stream.

It's better to hear it from someone who has been on the court and tells how displeasing it is to his/her eyes.

What is this new colors on the floor ?? My eyes are getting super dizzy and I simply cannot follow where the ball is during a game so I do hope they will change the bright colors asap or a lot of fans like myself will simply don't watch the game.
Yeah, they're making it look like tandem with their jersey colors but I don't like it as well. Too contrast and eye soring while watching the games, I hope that it goes to the management and they'll just change it to a more appealing and light color instead of too dark and thick colors since it's on a huge floor, it's not really good looking to our eyes.

Especially those red ones right? The ball is red and the floor is red, that's affecting the viewership of many audience because we can't follow quickly where actually the ball is and plus it if they even are wearing a red jersey as well.

I noticed that the Tundra was falling apart right before my eyes. They had problems with the mental component and they were not even helped by a personal psychologist who constantly set them up for the game. One of the culprits of all this was 33, who was dissatisfied all the time and brought even more chaos into this, saying that no one went into the forest with him when he asked. The psychologist was not even afraid to talk about it directly, that the team had obvious problems, and in the end he was right. Nine actually said that he would take a long break from Dota. It's hard to believe that these players were the ones who won TI11, and very confidently. In fact, it is very interesting to watch the further winners of TI11 and TI10, because the TS gained even more strength after that, and the Tundra, unfortunately, weakened altogether.
I don't have an idea of how it goes in the actuality with their own conversations and how they're dealing with each other.

After Shopify Rebellion announce that they would release Crit- and Abed unexpectedly one of the top tier industry in the world of E-sports Boss Tryke Gutierez, post into his Facebook account a picture of Abed playing a billiard and also in the Stream of Kuku Dota and Tims they are keep saying theres a top player will come in the PH just to play and imagine Abed is Back from the PH and after a couple of days Blacklist posted a Roster full team of Pinoy pride..

  • Tims
  • Carlo
  • Abed
  • Raven
  • Gabbi

No roles announce yet  but i expect here Abed mid, Gabbi Off, Raven Safelane, Carlo Hard support and Tims as Pos 4.
The roles are obvious for respective players. What this team needs now is a foreigner coach because if they're going to get someone who's local, I don't think that there's someone who fits that position. If they will take kuku as a coach, that doesn't look good as well because he's like a laggard now and past his prime. Although experience wise, he can still contribute to the team but IMO, it's better fit to a foreigner coach from other regions.

Being the gambler,I will choose my wife who allow to play the gambling or if my wife is gambler. This may allow me to choose the wife, after the marriage life should be more pleasant in the gambling sites.Choosing the life partner was in your hand,
Choosing a partner is crucial and that's why both of you should click or you should understand each others hobbies. And if you don't click like only you is the gambler, then you have to decide and need to have the conversation and agreement for both party. No one wants to be with a partner that will just give you headaches forever. That's why marrying your partner comes with a condition and that's all up to your talks.

So choose like I said and play the gambling along with your wife.If your marriage was the arrange marriage made by the gambler parents, then you need to convince your wife or husband to playing the gambling site with some good strategy in the gambling.
How I wish that there are couples out there that both gambling together and have no problem when both of them loses a lot of money. If ever you find one that has the same hobby as you then all you need to do is to continue both of your hobbies and never ran out of money together. Because if the time comes that you don't have money anymore, for sure that there will be quarrels when both of you are into gambling.

If this fail,it’s better to play outside without the knowledge of your wife and family members by keep this as the secret to them.
This is what happens when both of you disagree and didn't have the conversation and agreement that it's okay to gamble for both sides. You're going to hide at most times when you gamble.
