Does this pool pay for invalid/stales as well? Hopefully because I have a high stale rate on this pool.

Small update here, using the latest version posted ..
A stock FX4100 achieves nearly 5kh/s/core

thanks man I will give ati tray tools a shot. Was searching for this downclocking tool for a couple of days.

update:

I downloaded ati tray tools 1.7.9.1573 and installed. The lower bound of memory clock I can reach is 1000MHz. How did you get to 150MHz? Could you elaborate?

Hrm mine the lower bound for mine was 0mhz lol
I cant remember how I got it below what your stating, I think it was always available.

Your not in the driver oc section in att right? You actually in the hardware level oc'n?
I used the version you are. I was using 11.9 cats
2487  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS ASUS 6950 1GB DirectCU II w/ box and accessories on: January 16, 2012, 05:14:02 PM
Well the lower you can get the mem .. the board uses less power, considerably.
I think from 400mhz to 150mhz was a diff of like 10-20watts or something, either way I was surprised.

I already mentioned how I got the mem down that far. The only program that worked to achieve it was ati tray tools(all other programs had different locked minimums except att). I then confirmed the clocks w/ cgminer, gpuz and ati tray tools built in hardware monitoring graphs. I did not modify any memclocks or voltages in BIOS to achieve such speeds.
2488  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS ASUS 6950 1GB DirectCU II w/ box and accessories on: January 16, 2012, 07:36:46 AM
No, I did not modify the voltages =) never flashed a 6970 BIOS to it.
2489  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS ASUS 6950 1GB DirectCU II w/ box and accessories on: January 15, 2012, 08:59:29 PM
I doubt its longevity is in question. I used the RBE method and modified my own bios, when it had proper support to attempt shader unlock.
At one point I used a posted members(diff forum, not sure which one) hand modified BIOS which ONLY attempted shader unlock, it was never a 6970 BIOS that I flashed.
The low memory speed result has nothing to do w/ my BIOS flash IIRC.

The memory speed isnt allowed by any program other than Ati Tray Tools, it let me set the memory as low as 100mhz (confimed by gpuz and ATT's own hardware monitoring graphs)
The mining speed difference between 150mhz mem and 300mhz mem was very little if any.
I never tried voltmodding the gpu or anything, just clocked as high as could go on default voltages.

This card runs extremely quiet because of its cooling design and never saw any overheating temps.

The configuration for 366mh/s was w/ vista 32, cgminer 2.1.2 and cats 11.10 (never got around to upgrading to latest ones)
I used phatk kernel -w 128 -I 9 where the input parameters

Got the 5970 - what a beautiful card! The fan is a little more resistant to turn than I expected, but seems to be working fine for now. Hope it lasts a while =)
I have it @ 775/300mhz and currently getting 355mh/s / core. This sound bout right?
Thanks again!

If the 260$ one has a warranty I will take that one. I will send btc today =) at price we previously discussed.

I didn't see your last message until this post prompted me to look for it.  It's the silly way the forum works (or perhaps the way I'm using it), if I read something that came later, your earlier message gets marked as "read" and I'm less likely to look at it.

I still have that one card left, as well as the slow fan one.  I am willing to accept your pm'd offer for the good one.

You had asked if I had any buying/selling reputation.  I have sold thousands of Casascius Coins with nothing but praise on the board, always requiring payment in BTC up front.  Simply search for "casascius coins" in the forums.  In addition to having shipped the coins as promised, I am also trusted to not have kept the private keys (regardless, I believe I'd get my ass kicked if I did).  For stats on how many I have sold, http://casascius.appspot.com/ and/or http://casascius.uberbills.com (two third party Casascius Coin trackers written independently by two people I have never met)

K, I will send ya the btc then tomorrow =) thanks for response oh and can you please let me know about the warranty issue I brought up?

A quick update w/ the newer binaries for windows 64bit.
I tested them on a BD FX4100 @ stock speeds and it now gets 4.55kh/s / thread.
Quite an improvement! =)
Before, I got maybe 2.3kh/s / thread.
