2045  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] CoinLab Protected Pool on: February 01, 2013, 01:41:11 AM
A lot is happening at CoinLab.  Can't say more than just, "News is coming soon"

I knew it. CoinLab is getting into the ASIC market. Wink

Good to hear from you again, Chris!

Or this could be the same type of awesome news Tom from bASIC lead us on w/ since november.... we shall see....
2046  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: February 01, 2013, 01:17:28 AM
Im pretty sure he knows none of us would come after it if he did run off... this community barely does anything to get their scammed money back. oh wellz.. If I dont get my btc back, its probably the end  of btc for me. Had enough of this BS
2047  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 31, 2013, 10:57:14 PM
While I'm not at all happy with the way Tom is handling this, I also think the comparisons to pirate are unjustified. Intent is clearly missing as well as most of the harm.

At this point he is exactly like pirate...
Unless we start seeing BTC refunds...
2048  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] CoinLab Protected Pool on: January 31, 2013, 09:48:40 PM
Given that ASICs are beginning to appear in the wild, I suspect that there's going to be an influx on the 'redeem' pool once their influence is felt on the network. It'd be nice to have the lines of communication back up before then...

Yep, I also postponed the redeeming of my loyalty points. It seems that after the next difficulty change we will have no option but to start redeem them.

BUT, I am still very much interested in HPC work (I am ready to switch to Nvidia cards if needed), and I would appreciate ANY kind of update about that, good or bad.
I do not know what was the main reason for people to join Coinlab, but mine was HPC work, and if it fails that would be the biggest of all disappointments.

Hear ya there, although I mainly joined for 'diff insurance' .. HPC work, bleh couldnt care either way, would be nice to get more out of GPU's in that way but meh...
As for redemption, I sure hope we can still trust them going forward...to pay
Any other updates for payouts recently?
2049  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 31, 2013, 07:38:42 PM
yeahp, like Ive been saying our BTC is gone. Tom made it clears hes not in any way talking w/ us anymore a week ago... meaning, hes ran off ...  =( this sucks
2050  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avlon has delivered first Acsic on: January 30, 2013, 09:50:44 PM
Thats if, its just not an empty case...
2051  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 30, 2013, 06:43:45 PM

So everything is fine! Hes paying out...

You got a BTC refund??!?!?! no fucking WAY! when? lol.... not like months ago when he was actually refunding.... Im hoping more recently =P
2052  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Radeon HD 5450 errors on: January 30, 2013, 03:51:36 PM
HW errors such as those are a sign of bad RAM or cold solder or components on the PCB being burned out but barely limping along...
Eventually you will start seeing these HW errors being thrown more and more over time, to the point windows/linux will no longer be stable & just have to remove the card.
I have had this happen on 3 different 5970's now on one GPU...
Im convinced these cards arent just meant to handle this type of 24/7 load =(
2053  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 30, 2013, 03:46:02 PM
doubt we will ever see our BTC again... =(
2054  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 29, 2013, 05:10:30 PM
dangit, wheres the BTC refunds?! =(
2055  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 28, 2013, 07:12:52 PM
Cant wait to see those BTC refunds rolling in ... hopefully ...
2056  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I have some money. Which ASIC should I order? on: January 28, 2013, 04:59:04 PM
Dont order any yet... wait till they are no longer vaporware then order... thats the safer thing to do anyways.
2057  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 27, 2013, 11:30:27 PM
Thanks for the update dave... Heres to hoping tom makes good on the BTC orders ....
2058  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [13 GH/s] Project X | 115% return | No Fee | FPGA GPU Ready | GetWork | Profit | on: January 26, 2013, 11:58:13 PM
Im confused .. is this 115% PPS?!?!
2059  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 25, 2013, 08:20:13 PM
To paraphrase .. all CC orders being refunded. BTC is fuxxored because tom doesnt talk to anyone anymore and hes just run off w/ our BTC. Fuck this.
2060  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: January 25, 2013, 08:11:57 PM
The CC customers are the ones that can put Tom in jail if not returned, they're also the ones with an expiration date. I don't think the current policy is surprising.

BTW I'm owed more $$$ in BTC than CC.

Hear ya there! .. makes total sense to just run w/ the BTC left from btc orders. Highly doubt we will see our BTC bro but...theres always a chance I suppose.
BTC failed us this time around =( thats the saddest part of all this
