Well, its good to know that if a row of ASIC chips goes down due to something like this happening, it doesnt take the whole unit with it =) .. thats pretty nice imo.

for all you people complaining about price(count me in as one of them, 300mh for 200$ is a ripoff).... the only way to make it go lower is for everyone to request refund and refuse to order at these prices. But, because u guys are so impatient to get the slightest increase in hashing power at no matter the cost...they will continue to sell at such prices(pathetic)

1946  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [1 BTC BOUNTY] Get 6 radeon 7970 installing and mining in Windows 7 x64 on: May 03, 2013, 12:05:33 AM
for the hell of it try putting xfire bridge on a few of the cards...see if the driver reacts differently when it sees 2 or more can be linked together ...

1949  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: May 01, 2013, 11:54:14 PM
Is there something Im missing?
I deposited only 1BTC
Ive done enough lending and my stats say Received: 1.6xxx BTC
But my balance is only 1.03xx BTC

EVEN if I added up my pending + late .. it comes nowhere close to this magical 1.6xxx Im supposed to have...

So, my question is WHERE is my missing BTC?

I will check your account and get back to you.

How can you check if u dont know my username on btcjam? lol....

Did you connect your bitcointalk username to BTCJam?

1) Motions: borrowers can create a motion to change the loan terms, they are submitted to be voted by investors. boonies4u was the first borrower to use it.

1957  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: April 29, 2013, 10:17:21 PM
I would love to know the status of batch 2 shipping as well. This silence and no news from anyone(customers or avalon) is making me nervous =(
1958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Opinions on BitSpend? on: April 25, 2013, 09:48:44 PM
I just wanna give props to bitspend.net
I used them the first time last week to order some new PC hardware from newegg. The process was painless and my questions promptly answered. Another side benefit is you get 2day free shipping w/ them through newegg.

The only downside I gotta say is they use btc-e conversion rate which is often less valuable than gox's
But anyways! amazing service!

I dont know if I replied, but figured out what it was...
Unless you are mining using stratum, it will apply a fee of an additional 4-5% or so....
My cgminer wasnt switching to stratum when using the 8332 port for this pool(the only one I see documented)
So, I instructed cgminer to use 3333 and it connects w/ stratum.

Since making that change, I created a checkpoint and using the checkpoints numbers, I now get paid the advertised 97% pps...

I noticed that I was mining on getwork rather than stratum ... could that be why theres a 4-5% discrepancy in payout? are you charging extra fees when mining getwork .. like slush does?
Thanks
