I aint even on the list... 1$ /kwh
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes- "Bitcoin Prevents Monetary Tyranny" on: October 05, 2012, 12:27:03 AM
You know, u make an interesting point. I wonder what the bitcoin economy would look like if people didnt care about the BTC -> USD conversion value and traded soley on how long it took them to get make that BTC ..
What if people simply just placed some sort of worth on BTC, not represented by any fiat currency.
Hrm, that would be hard for every individual to gauge. I guess it would be like strictly bartering then.

I ono, not an expert on economies or 'currencies' =P ...
just interesting ideas thou..
2203  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Which Card Has The Fastest ROI? on: October 04, 2012, 04:02:50 PM
If you dont care about power consumption, a 6870x2 is probably ur fastest ROI =) .. can be had for 200$ or less and does around 650mh/s
2204  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] Protect your future GPU mining earnings with CoinLab's 95-97% PPS Pool on: October 03, 2012, 10:17:12 PM
LOL, thats hilarious =P
2205  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] Protect your future GPU mining earnings with CoinLab's 95-97% PPS Pool on: October 03, 2012, 08:16:22 PM
Well right now they are having connection issues it would seem. Im getting comm errors in cgminer and website doesnt load all the time.
2206  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 03, 2012, 07:49:09 PM
So, cablepair, do you not know the power consumption yet or are you keeping the info from us until u get working firmware on the first unit .. or what?
It seems if your this close to shipping... you would know .. lol
2207  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] Protect your future GPU mining earnings with CoinLab's 95-97% PPS Pool on: October 03, 2012, 02:48:02 PM
Can you tell us how the rest of the platform is coming along? (custom mining client, and redeeming mined shares), because ASICs are almost here and btc might hit the 2.50$ / 1gh .. soon...
2208  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 02, 2012, 11:09:24 PM
Are there any power estimates yet?
2209  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BFL releases actual specs. ACTUAL SPECS! on: October 01, 2012, 09:42:25 PM
5.16.2014
2210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 01, 2012, 05:34:14 PM
Also, do you realize how much faster you would get your product from Tom?
You would get it faster? We dont know about that yet....
The ASIC world aint established fully. We dont know when BFL, BTCFPGA, or any other company is REALLY shipping.
Or are you implying once regular production begins, the preorders will be filled much faster than BFL would be...meaning normal orders would be shipped much sooner than BFL's normal orders?
That would for sure be interesting.
2211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 01, 2012, 04:29:30 PM

(Q) What do you think is a "Fair" trade in value

(Q) What is the lowest trade in value you would accept

(Q) What would you rather do?

1) Trade in your ModMiner Quad for a $300 discount on a bASIC unit.
2) Resell your ModMiner Quad to someone for $200 cash
3) Have BTCFPGA spend resources to have developers continue to develop new firmware for the device to make it do other things like crack password files or other specific computational use

please note those numbers are just hypothetical - and I am just gauging interest

thanks!

Well, keeping in mind competition, isnt BFL offering a straight trade up for a bitforce single at full price towards an their ASIC products?
Trade in value of only 300$ is a huge loss for most customers =/
2212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 01, 2012, 02:53:03 PM
Wow, this asic news makes me excited. I hate BFL, and always loved the idea behind modminer.
Question, when the ASIC's actually go into shipping and become normal orders on the website will prices be raised or stay the same?
The 27gh/s version looks very tasty atm for me.
Also, what exactly, is the upgrade plan available for the FPGA -> ASIC?
It mentions it on site but doesnt explain what it is, is it a straight trade in for the 54gh/s ASIC?
TY

I will probably AT LEAST be buying one of ur 27GH units at some point in time. If I dont wint a FPGA in coming weeks =P HA!
Your company rocks dude!

Curious, how is the development coming on ur proprietary software?
I ask because we are getting pretty close to a 2.50$/gh point(if price drops to 7$ or diff gets around 5m or combination of w/e in between)
I noticed stated in OP, the 2.50$/gh will only be redeemable w/ the proprietary software...
2215  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Anyone have a good remote access system for their mining rigs ? on: September 03, 2012, 08:07:37 PM
I use tightvnc, install it on all mining rigs, configure each one on their own listening port, then set up port forwards in ur router. Also, if interested, ive written an autoit script that restarts cgminer every n minutes and checks every 30seconds to make sure cgminer is running, if not it will start it. Pm is if that interests u and i can get it to ya =)

Now selling .. and updated price to a pretty reasonable bargain rate =)
2218  Other / Off-topic / Re: butterflylabs.com - any comment about your ASIC progress? on: August 28, 2012, 02:45:27 PM
no, and hopefully not till sometime next year =P
2219  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5970 crash after two days on: August 28, 2012, 06:24:55 AM
If its just the driver crash or gpu gone dead.... but system is stable...
Ive written an autoit script that restarts cgminer every x minutes
It also checks every 30 seconds to make sure cgminer is running, if not it starts it up.

I use it on my realy unreliable rig which has 3x5850's and the one 5850 is horrible, goes dead, actually think its a mobo issue now, but either way...
it goes dead anywhere from an hour to 4hrs of mining despite clocks & temps..
So, I have the script restart cgminer every hour =P

there is not "paid history" stats option on the home page ?

then how do i know the remaining btc balance on my account ?
