As baleias não estão vendendo BCC.

Elas estão comprando.

Eu ainda não resgatei os meus. Vai levar dias até sincronizar a blockchain do ABC em outro sistema.
2302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Splitting coins in a Bitcoin Core wallet after potential fork August 1st on: August 03, 2017, 03:49:41 PM
I created a second wallet, transferred funds to it, copied the blockchain to a second drive, kept the first wallet in this second drive, unplugged the first drive, got to another OS, installed bitcoin ABC, pointed it to the second drive, and...

Bitcoin ABC is showing BCC as transferred to the second wallet, which is on the original bitcoin-qt.

All the five transactions are there. I spend money with these transactions for nothing, since it didn't split.

How can I split them? I did everything said here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0 even installed another OS to access it and not mess any files.
2303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 01, 2017, 11:17:07 PM
4. On a separate computer that you wouldn't too much mind being compromised, install a BCash wallet such as one of the ones listed on bitcoincash.org. (Warning: some Bcash wallets are known to overwrite important files belonging to their Bitcoin counterparts.) Or use a Web-based exchange/wallet supporting Bcash. Import the private keys from your old, now-empty Bitcoin wallet into this Bcash wallet. Now you have BCH which you can handle as you wish. Note that BCH transactions may be very slow to confirm for a couple of days.

Are these files related to the Windows folder, or to the registry?

I'm asking because I copied the entire bitcoin folder to another old hd, was going to use it on this same system for the ABC wallet until I read the warning above. What files are overwritten?
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 01, 2017, 06:48:38 PM
Can I install Bitcoin ABC now? I will create another wallet for it to claim my BCH.

I don't have an account on Kraken and I don't want to send my BTC there.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) price tomorrow gon' be like..... on: August 01, 2017, 12:50:43 PM
Everyone giving BCC so much attention tells me that people are worried about it being successful. hmmm..

It's getting so much attention because it is the first time something like this happens. BCC, unlike BU, is happening and there is some miner support. People are also moving their coins out of exchanges etc.

Will it be successful? Maybe. Will it come even close to the success of Bitcoin? Hell no.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH and not anymore BCC) can have a life of its own because there are now some number of supporters of the altcoin this early and if it can prove something that it can also survive in a sea of new coins/tokens then there is a big possibility that more and more will support it.

BCH should not anymore be taken as something like an enemy to the real Bitcoin in the same manner that we don't view that way when we talk about Litecoin and Ethereum...let it takes its place as an altcoin. Right now, Bitcoin's value is not affected by BCH in fact this can even push its value to the sky because we would be able to see the big difference between the two.

But would it be possible that later on Bitcoin Cash can proven itself to be better than Bitcoin? Hmmm...let me have it a topic in another post.

I see your point and agree, that Bitcoin Cash may take its place as an purposeful alt-coin. It just bothers me at all the people that are trying to change Bitcoin from what Satoshi intended. We should leave Bitcoin the way it is as an honor to Satoshi as well as an experiment to see how it turns out. Let all the alt-coins try new configurations and algorithms. If they really are better than people will switch. It's not worth the risk in ruining Bitcoin because people want faster confirmations or lower fees.

That said, I would have more respect if Bitcoin Cash didn't try to profit off the Bitcoin brand and came up with an original name. Just call it what it is, an alt-coin.

That's one reason why I'm not going to dump any BCC. Another reason is to avoid a currency war, since Ver and co can also dump BTC if they want.

I think both coins can co-exist peacefully and try different approaches to payment issues.

Poloniex officially dry.

Is it safe to lend during this fork?

Aqui fala bastante desse Roger Ver: https://medium.com/@WhalePanda/roger-ver-from-bitcoin-jesus-to-bitcoin-antichrist-69fc7a17c622

Point is, i've been waiting for fiat to blow since people starting saying this on the internet about 15 years ago. It's coming.... It's coming....

It's really coming and it ain't be fun. US desperately need another WW.

Tell that to the music, movie and video game addicted millennial. Smiley
Middle finger will be shown to the government promptly! Cheesy Cheesy

Like they did in 2001? People signed up in droves for the chance to fight. Propaganda and media manipulation are very powerful tools.

Shit, where were those WMD's again?

Mp3 was not very popular at the time, there were no smartphones, no usb sticks.

Movies were not in high definition. Most monitors were still CRT.

Video games were niche, often hard, the masses regarded as something for children.

There were no millennials back 2001.
2311  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Opinião sobre o BCC Bitcoin Cash on: July 29, 2017, 10:59:35 PM

Why cant we use both? BTC and BCC. Just give me a plastic card for each one.
2314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why you should keep hold of your BCC after Aug 1st on: July 29, 2017, 08:11:12 PM
True hodlers always hodl.

We don't known if billionaries will pump this BCC. After all it have the smell of a centralized crypto-currency, with its 8mb block size, and the big money loves centralization.

2315  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rally is premature - 4 days left on: July 29, 2017, 01:07:30 PM
BTC will crash.

And it will be not provoked by rich investors. It will be the users themselves.

Replay protection. If you spend in one chain, you will also have spend on the other, so that you can't replay the same operation again. This is being badly explained, and people are being convinced they will have free coins.

But those coins are the same ones you bought earlier, they will be just in another chain, with another name and behaving like an alt coin.

The future market value was set just to have a initial price for it. So people will think they will be receiving free coins at 500+ dollars each.

They will just dump it, and the equivalent (probably in a relation of 5:1) will be dumped in the legacy chain, due to the replay protection.

Price of BCC will dump to the ground, but the equivalent BTC will also be dumped.

Then the rich investors will buy all this BCC, which is centralized by the mining cartels. Then they fork and BTC is left alone.

Big blocks will be the norm and in ten years you will need 1 petabyte to store the blockchain. Goodbye P2P.

I was thinking in moving at least half of it to LTC. Maybe I'm wrong, but if I'm right it will take too much time to recover, and LTC will be up faster.

Im pretty sure this is wrong. Anyone that has enough money to matter knows how to take the measures required to not end up screwing up in the process. Everyone that matters is going to dump his BTC for BCC and the rest will simply not even care. Exchanges will take the measures needed to not expose users to replay attacks. Your message contains big amounts of FUD.

The people that have the most bitcoins are totally opposite to big blocks and they will never leave the big block government agenda to win.

Sorry for the FUD. The subject was clarified in the Wall thread. As it was explained there, BCC will use the same seed from BTC to generate another private key and another address. So it will not be the same coin.

But, if their replay protection doesn't work, it still risky to dump BCC. Without the protection you will be dumping BTC too.

2317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 28, 2017, 10:09:32 PM
Yes, they will be invalid. If 1 BTC is 5 BCC, and you spend 1 BCC, then you can't spend it again in the other chain. In other words, you will have 0.8 BTC.

But I hope I'm wrong and you can sell BCC for BTC and vice-versa, like any alt coin.

They would be two completely separate blockchains, where transactions of one coin can only be made on its own chain (because of two way replay protection), and cannot affect the other chain in any way.

But will they use the same bitcoin addresses? I read that, to claim BCC, you have to put your BTC address in the ABC wallet.

Never do that if you have unspent bitcoins on this address! After the fork is activated FIRST move your bitcoins to another bitcoin address and just after that put your empty BTC address in your BTCCrooked ABC wallet!

Actually I'm not going to even touch it.

I was worried about the market, if people start dumping BCC and it uses the same addresses as BTC, then BTC will de dumped altogether.
2318  Economy / Speculation / Re: With the Hard Fork coming, will anyone who has BTC will Get BCC?? on: July 28, 2017, 10:03:07 PM
There can be two different cases-

1. You own private keys of your wallet - If your answer is 'yes' to this question then you can surely claim BCC with your current balance on address by simply adding private keys to BCC wallet.

2. You don't own private keys - If you using third-party hosted wallet like exchange and web wallets, the decision whether you get or don't get BCC will be dependent on exchange or wallet's opinion. Every exchange has different views on this. I am receiving e-mails from almost every wallet about its take on fork. Better read their personal opinions.

You cant use the same private key and the same address with two different coins.

A private key for BTC is different from one for LTC, they use different seeds.

If you use the same address, the same key, then it's still the same coin, and not another.

You will have to split it to get BCC, so it will not be free like people are saying.

This is what Trezor has to say:

"Will Bitcoin Cash addresses be different from Bitcoin addresses?

Your Bitcoin Cash addresses are also derived from your seed, but with different parameters. As they are made specifically for Bitcoin Cash, there will be no overlap with the original Bitcoin, which increases your privacy. This also means that you should not send bitcoins on a Bitcoin Cash address and vice versa.

The Bitcoin Cash BIP44 derivation path for addresses is:

m/44'/145'/
"

So you have to split the coins before sending it, maybe using some command line.

Well, that's better. I was fearful because I read that, to claim BCC, you have to put your BTC address in a ABC wallet, and so BCC would appear to be claimed. Then I was wondering if BCC wasnt just another representation of BTC in another chain, using other code, and in the end they would be the same coin.
