Não recomendo deixar fiat ou bitcoin em nenhuma exchange. Compre os bitcoins e envie para sua carteira pessoal no seu computador ou celular. Só deixe bitcoins que for usar em transações com altcoins, no caso na Bittrex e Poloniex.

Eu fiz alguns trocados recentemente na Poloniex com empréstimos, mas saquei tudo de lá faz poucos dias. No auge da onda do urso dava pra emprestar com 4% de juros por lá, mas agora caiu.

A Bittrex eu coloquei o 2FA depois de ter minha conta hackeada, e nunca mais tive problemas. Eu estou mandando meus BCCs pra lá, mas não vou vende-los, vou deixar boiando pra ver o que vai acontecer com eles. Fiz ordens de compra de Gridcoin, Monaco, estou negociando Waves também. Agora estou mais cuidadoso e estou pesquisando antes de comprar uma altcoin. Estou comprando com valor abaixo do que estão pedindo, pois notei que o bitcoin e as alts estão alternando subidas e descidas, e isto é muito útil. Então é só aguardar o bitcoin subir que aí o site executa as compras e depois vende quando o bitcoin cair.

Está havendo uma nova queda de ontem pra hoje. Foi de 3400 pra casa dos 3200.

Mas eu sempre acompanho o preço em dólares, e quando vou checar em reais vem aquele ágio maldito, ou seja, se a moeda cai, o movimento não é acompanhado aqui pois o ágio gruda no valor.

Eu deveria ter escutado o Daniel Fraga em 2013, quando ele quase me convenceu a comprar bitcoin com seus vídeos. Mas não tinha como usar a moeda na época, não tinha UM produto ou serviço sequer pra comprar com ela. Foi só em 2015 que eu fui comprar meu primeiro bitcoin, na época gastei uns 900 reais, e uma parte dele foi usada pra pagar minha cloud no MEGA. Foi a cloud que me pôs na trilha do bitcoin, mas era uma moeda só.

ABC finally synched. Seems I was mistaken, it is not a scam, as the coins had showed up in the ABC wallet.

It took eight days to fully synch the BCC blockchain. Its blocks folder actually have the same size of the one in Core.

Initially it didn't accept a copy of the files dated before August from the Core folder, and started overwriting them.

It is a very slow network, and since it uses the same registry folder of the BTC chain, there's no reason to keep a node on it. Besides it will increases the blocks folder over time, as it uses large blocks. I will try to send it to Bittrex, but will not dump it since it is valuing more than ether.

I didn't even retrieved it. Been eight days since I started synching bitcoin ABC in another system. Extremely slow.

I don't plan to sell it, will keep it since it have more potential for value than ether. But as soon as I retrieve it I will send to a exchange, can't keep a node on it, it's too slow.

I'm inclined to think BCC is a legit scam.

I created another Core wallet August 2nd, after the fork, and sent my funds there. Followed Theymos instructions the best I could.

Then using another Windows (already installed) I got ABC and installed it in this other system. Started synch, very, very slow. Tried copying the original blockchain to the ABC folder (which was in another external hd) but it didn't work, the program just overwrite every block as it synched. Let it synch on day and night, got to sleep with computer on.

Now, six days after I installed this ABC wallet in this other Windows system (which I'm using most of the time now), I'm now up to 10 weeks till synch, and it only shows 0.44 BCC. Where is the rest of the stash? Its simply not showing. Now this can be a matter of synching, since it wont complete (it says there's still two days till it synchs, as slow as ether would go when I tried to synch its blockchain here), but who knows, maybe this network is really a scam and the coins are not there anymore? There was a user which reported somewhere his BCC disappeared after he tried to claim it in Electrum... I'm trying the slow, more secure way, but I dont trust it is a legitimate network, or that it can succeed bitcoin in any way.

The more bitcoins stored in nodes, installed in internal or external hds, the faster will be the network.

Ainda estamos na época dos inovadores. Só a partir do ano que vem que devemos entrar na fase dos early adopters, depois que a SegWit for resolvida. Isso vai levar alguns meses pois ainda tem o Jihan no meio do caminho com aquele papo de aumentar o tamanho dos blocos.

Precisaria chegar no market cap da Apple para ser adotada pela população de uma forma geral. O market cap da Apple atualmente é de 800 bilhões de dólares. O bitcoin está com 55 bilhões de dólares. Então tem que aumentar pelo menos umas 16 vezes pra chegar na Apple. Ou seja, o preço correto deveria ser por volta de 50k dólares pra cada bitcoin. Este é o preço que foi previsto pelos irmãos da ETF, e na minha opinião é o que deveria ser a lua quando falam em "subir pra lua".

Now, if they hodl it for a long time and take it off exchanges, this results in scarcity and the prices will go up when those who sold earlier will need it again, or those who are new are needing to buy some.

But users will hodl more if bitcoin starts being accepted by merchants, and ATMs installed all over the world. Fiat is still more practical, credit cards still offer faster payments. This need to change so more people hodl bitcoins and the price go higher.

Trying to synch Bitcoin ABC for three days now.

First I had tried to use the same blockchain until the date of July. Didnt work, the program crashed.

Then started to synch since the beggining. It's on 50% yet, computer turned on all the time. Using another OS because the program uses the same registry as Core.

For me is showing 0 BCC for now, but the transactions until July appear on history as BCC.

I dont know if I will ever get these "free coins".

But I dont see a slow synch like that since I tried to download Ethereum blockchain some months ago (and dropped it after two weeks trying).
