Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 10K$

It might reach 10k in the next days, but the issue is not reaching it, but to keep on it.
The resistance will be very strong and we might see a fall to the 7000s. That is a 30% correction. People who bought earlier will want to cash in. In my opinion, this will be a mistake, as CME is right on December, and they will be buying on the dip.

Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will crash to 7-8K ?

Probably. If people short on 10k, it will fall to those levels, between $7000 and $8000.
I dont want to short, but there are youtubers who are holders and are saying they are going to short a part of their stashes.

I disagree. I think this bull run has a way to go. It won't till the last bear has capitulated - that means when we stop seeing threads predicting crashes, the top will have been reached. We're not there yet.
Just threads? Go to tradingview.com, only bear predictions there.

What BTG did?
I still didnt synch their blockchain in the other system. It takes too long and I have only one computer.
Is their replay protection a scam? I noticed some fractions of BTG in my Bittrex account.

Do not think so. There are only $600 m USDT. It is much smaller than the Bitcoin market cap.
That is irrational thinking. MarketCap means not much. Do you think "all" Bitcoins can be sold for 8k$? I guess not. A better metric would be the average price paid per BTC - you can move the market alot with 20 million$, if done right. Are BTC meant to be sold?

As I have been Goxed, Cloudstripmined straight through the bottom of my pockets, I tell you : if it looks like crook business, smells like and behaves like, just run away as fr as you can.
Do you think a Bitfinex scandal would affect prices? If so, how much?

Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump/Correction @ 10k
|

I think there might be a dump this friday/saturday - the BTC difficuloty retargets, and I expect the difficulty will get higher and miners will then move to BCH, which then has the effect of building bitcoin's mempool and fees again.
This will keep happening because there is now competition for sha-256 miners (which there wasn't before).
But how much will it fall? I think the floor is already on 7000's. If they keep doing those leaps from one coin to the other, we will have a lot of entry points, and opportunities to dump the remaining BCH.
