So, Duck, moon by 26th? Is it confirmed?

1 628 640 775 USD market cap will collapse btc?
Hardly even the buys did any pump up.

Where did you get this number? CMC is showing $177 billion.

1583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 22, 2018, 08:40:25 PM
are you ready to go under 8000€ / BTC ?

8k is old news. Now its 4-5k.

We are in a bear market, and since its based on panic, a bear market is irrational.

Corrections are for rational markets. This recent fallback to 10k is no more a correction.

I just want people to know the truth, i can't take it anymore... Many people don't know what is actually happening behind the scenes.

Do you consider yourself a die-hard grassroots socialist?

Are you a fan of Unabomber?

So you admit that you are, on purpose, trying to destroy bitcoin and crypto currencies.

I cant see why some person would do that, if not by being paid by some bankster. Simple envy would not motivate someone to make a documentary to trigger a sell-off.

What bank is paying you, OP? And how much?

Can I have a QT wallet of this coin at the same time I have a Core wallet? Do they share the same registry data in Windows, or is separated?
1587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bottom for BTC? 10K or 8K? on: January 22, 2018, 04:29:33 PM
The price dropped again in the last 24 hours.

10k was already tested enough, but since it fell again, we are going to 4-5k.
1588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 22, 2018, 03:53:07 PM
fee back in my wallet less than 100k  and about 57k for lower level sending.
but agree with you in the past sending with 57k was very high fee and can confirmed in less than 1 hours.
miners start playing  against bitcoin

In my case, its this same fee for all levels of sending, be it 2 blocks or 1008 blocks.
1589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 22, 2018, 03:40:13 PM
378927 satoshis per kilobyte is what bitcoin-QT is asking for transactions now.

Unconfirmed transactions are already below 100k. However, the fees didnt drop back to 100k satoshis per kilobyte.

The devs have released LN, but only for programmers. Users still dont have a choice except to pay the high fees.

My recommendation is to NOT invest until this week is over!!!

CME close between 26th and 30th. I would wait 'til February 1st.

Well Bittrex exchange is broken!  can log in but no way to buy or sell !  My balance is there, but no markets in BTC or USDT.  it's like an empty exchange.

Maybe someone needs to turn it off and on again!

It is working fine here. Its just slower.

Bittrex was always slow. These days is more slower as more people are buying alts.
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 21, 2018, 03:49:20 PM
The definition was changed by the money changers.  It used to mean in Luke Jr bible days just the charging of interest, then they changed it to "unreasonable interest" LOL.  Kind of like saying "rape" vs "unreasonable rape".  Usury is a form of slavery and it doesn't matter what the yield you're pulling is.

Usury is to lend money with interest. The current banking system was born from it.

Bitcoin, on the contrary, was born from resentment against the banking system, during the 2008-2009 crisis.

Bitcoin still dont have a lending system. So we cant classify it as a usury system, unless your /pol/ dictionary have changed its meaning. But by then, we would be speaking different languages, I guess.
1593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistically, how do you think bitcoin will perform this year? on: January 21, 2018, 03:44:22 PM
I'm expecting 25k around March, 50k by May, and something between 70-100k by the end of the year.

But we will have more volatility than before. Price is already doing swings of four digits, going from 13k to 11k in a matter of hours.

One thing that I want for bitcoin is to decrease the fees. LN can solve that, as most users will be on smartphones, not running nodes. This will unclog the legacy chain.

Another thing I want is smart contracts for bitcoin, to increase its security and made it more trustless. Conditioned payments is the future.
1594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week Futures expire on: January 21, 2018, 03:32:56 PM
Price spiked up after CBOE opened in December 11th, and fell down when CME opened in December 18th. The ATH is between these two openings.

However, now CBOE closed, and CME is still to close, but theres no ATH. Since we are in January, and in this month there's always a crash, we can't say for sure if bitcoin got "tamed" as they said it would.

If it confirms by February or March that the price is rising always between 11th and 18th, then we can say they are shorting in CBOE and longing in CME. You have to time the window to sell and to buy back.
1595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thinking about selling? Good time? on: January 21, 2018, 03:03:08 PM
It's curious that one year ago, chinese government was also banning bitcoin.

So, history repeats itself.
1596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Lightning Network will fail on: January 21, 2018, 02:39:13 PM
Segwit got activated 6 months ago and only 10% of users use it.

That's because segwit was badly implemented. There's no buttom on QT to create segwit addresses, you have to use a console command.

You cant expect the average user to be writing console commands, specially when most of them dont even have patience to synch the entire blockchain, and prefer smartphone wallets instead.

Also, segwit only gave me a 15% discount when I tested it. To send 100k satoshis, you still need to pay approximately 80k satoshis in fees, sending from a segwit address.

When is the fork happening? I need to move my wallet and cant do this before the fork.

Keep screaming, its funny.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are mooning!!!!! on: January 20, 2018, 02:00:07 PM
10-12k was tested enough. Now its 12-15k.

Eu queria entender como a Foxbit implementou este saque com taxa de 20 mil satoshis.

Eu testei um endereço segwit numa outra carteira minha e só consegui 15% de redução nas taxas, ao enviar a partir deste endereço.
