A carteira do BTG sai amanhã.

Use the blockstream satellites to collect solar energy. This will shut their mouths.
The fact is that this is a very good idea And I have already read a lot about such projects, but they are very expensive today and will not be implemented in reality. Although if you think about the developments of Ilon Max, then I think that the prospects in green technologies are very large. Just take some pictures of a fake satellite full of solar panels and use in a mediocre media campaign. The "greens" are selfish, they are only concerned about their own image of "eco-consciousness". Soon they will forget about it.

Why BTC devs dont change the PoW so that BTC depend less from miners than now?
Why do we run BTC nodes? If we depend on miners to confirm transactions, what is the use in downloading the entire blockchain to your computer? Should not the nodes confirm those transactions too?
The impression I have is that bitcoin is being kept hostage from miners.

I think you can (you must) move your bitcoins that have been in the pre-fork wallet to another new wallet, if you still have any funds there, and then paste the private key in that web form.
Yeah, that's the key (hehe). Always move your bitcoins to a new private key, then you can use the old private keys to access these altcoins. And will the BTG value pay the fees to move this BTC to a new wallet?

The interesting part about it is that nobody would gain "free money" from Segwit2x, as it wont have any replay protection. They would lose all their BTC to the exchanges after dumping their B2X.
So, these people who jumped in the train for it are fools. The price would fall more than it is falling now in case it got to it, the ecosystem would be damaged.
Its good to see that the B2X guys had come to their senses. Block increases should not be done all of a sudden, this is a slow development and it need to follow hdd technology, or we will not be able to run nodes.
There's still BTG which will be released in 12th, but this one is around $100 in futures markets, so not interesting for these greed investors.
The price will fall. But in the long term it will still go up, and this is what I aim to.
Tell them the hodlers will remember.

But I for that compromise was reached and the block size was increased.
Segwit already increases the block size to a maximum of 4mb. Before August the limit was 1mb, now its 4mb. Segwit2x aimed at 8mb, that is, the same size of bcash. The scaling is still there.

Garzik probaly will continue on his metronome project.
Its a altcoin used to carry transactions between other coins, without the use of exchanges. Something similar to the atomic swap, but with a intermediary.

I agree with this interview: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-07/bitcoin-digital-goldI would like litecoin as a payment currency, instead of bitcoin. Litecoin have atomic swap, and we will be able to swap it with bitcoin in the future. Purists sees it as a testnet, but for me, it have its own potential, as a digital silver, for daily use. Bitcoin should be a reserve coin, to buy expensive things. For everything else, we can use litecoin. And people will not say its "expensive". Compare with old times, where silver was more used as a currency than gold. Gold was more for reserve, people hoarded it for the future. Today we can have bitcoin as gold, litecoin as silver and bcash can be like electrum coins (gold and silver combined in a single alloy).

Segwit 2x guys just threw in the towel - bullish as fuck? https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-segwit2x/2017-November/000685.html... Our goal has always been a smooth upgrade for Bitcoin. Although we strongly believe in the need for a larger blocksize, there is something we believe is even more important: keeping the community together. Unfortunately, it is clear that we have not built sufficient consensus for a clean blocksize upgrade at this time. Continuing on the current path could divide the community and be a setback to Bitcoin’s growth. This was never the goal of Segwit2x. ... That's good news. The lack of RP would cause a catastrophe. Even here on this forum there are people saying the fork is "free coins", even with all the information about RP repeated ad nauseum. The noobishness is appaling. They would dump it and lose their BTC, panic would ensure, price would drop to sub-5k levels and everybody would lose, including the miners and the B2X guys.

First they (their customers) gonna get screwed badly by honey badger and then they gonna complain to have the FED-SEC and the rest of the so called regulators to impose regulations = destroy price discovery on the exchanges. And we might very well end in the same deplorable position as GLD.
But GLD is held in custody, you dont have it stored in your house. Whereas for bitcoin, you can have the wallet and a copy of the blockchain in your hdd. They will have to pump it first, though. No investor will enter in a future contract if the sell price is the same as the one currently on the exchanges. They will want it higher so that they make a profit out of it. And CME and others will need to grow a reputation on it first, before screwing it up and blaming the "speculators from the exchanges" for it.
