1201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thinking about buying from BITMAIN? BUYER BEWARE!!! on: October 30, 2014, 03:17:45 AM
i can not advise anyone to buy from them as hardware has arrived used/damaged all year.

support is intentionally difficult, requesting such stupidity as screen grabs to prove multiple PSUs are dead..

i am still owed over 1000USD which was initially offered as CASH but always with the promise of S2 upgrades 'soon' so i refused the cash as the ONLY reason i bought S2s was for their upgrade-ability, which was promised repeatedly up until 2 days ago when bitmain 'confirmed' there will be NO S2 upgrades.

he now claims cash compensation is impossible - and shitty S4s should be purchased with hosting to receive any compensation at all.

>4000USD + hosting to receive compensation 'conpons' valued at just over 1000USD

i will NOT be buying any more antminer hardware - i now have 5 FIVE dead enermax 1000w PSUs that i have had to replace at my own expense.

UNTIL BITMAIN HONOURS OUR ORIGINAL AGREEMENT I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO INFORM & WARN ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS TO THINK AGAIN.

"Bitmain Tech <info@bitmaintech.com>

Hi,
sorry, please ignore below email.

suggest you buy one PSU in your local market, we'd like to  offer you some coupon for S4 as compensate, hope it is OK for you"

EVERYONE GOT THESE BULLSHIT COUPONS...

Dear Sir,

Sir,

Firstly our apologies for the inconvenience.

If you concern the missing hash rate, we have compensated coupon for 100G hash rate for each miner.   ALL PROMISE, NO COUPONS
If you wont buy Antminers any more, we can refund you the conpons. we are really a bit sad on this point.
If you concern the much communication/many emails,  our tech is trying to confirm what the issue is or which part is broken.  YOUR 'TECH' MUST BE RETARDED - OVER 400 EMAILS!!

We honor your real feedbacks on our forum, but could you please post it clearly? some customers may misunderstand on below comments:

Still waiting for resolution on damaged & underperfoming S2 miners.
- october 30TH 2014 STILL WAITING!!! WHATS TO MISUNDERSTAND??

YOUR ANTMINER WILL ARRIVE WITH ISSUES, JUST CHECK THE THREADS - BITMAIN WILL FUCK YOU AROUND - YOU WILL NOT PROFIT
1202  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 30, 2014, 12:59:21 AM
ive been waiting patiently since JUNE for compensation which bitmain had finally offered to pay for four dead PSUs (actually i RMAd the first one, but the replacemnet which took 2 weeks was DOA & dented too, so its 5..) after MUCH MUCH sdtruggle and effort

since JULY, bitmain offered S2 upgrades 'soon' i asked every few weeks, and always told soon. so i refused the cash refund..

2 days ago he insists there will be NO S2 upgrades and i should consider S4 (even though its yet another overpriced lump which will arrive busted up, buckled & in need of serious fixing!!)

he also insists that 1 'coupon'  which must be his new buzzword can only be used per one S4!

so, while im owed over 1000USD since more than 4 months ago, he insists i spend over 4000 USD PLUS hosting, to receive this 'compensation'

i would advise extreme caution when dealing with this guy - empty & broken promises are abundant.

Bitmain! i paid for 4 new PSUs because every single one you have ever sent me was insufficient aka SHIT - you owe me this money as we agreed.

i promise you that i will not give up until you have reimbursed me.

uRAN4 = 0.0 UNO

@zelig - dunno why its being weird. Maybe wipe it and start again. Mine downloaded with no problems.

unlike my 'old' PPC wallet which has stalled around May 2014 with 11PPC in it..Sad

I've tried that several times.

I think it may be time for the dreaded computer factory reset... This computer has developed a lot of quirks.

Backing up files now.  Unless I figure something out, planning on Sunday into Monday for the reset.

BTW - approx 200 more UNO to make it to the top 100 list.  (Don't know if that will happen)

Z

 nightmare!!

i decided to open all my old wallets to see what was still current.

got issues with lots of wallets...

12 hours waiting on a 0.6 uno withdrawal from cryptsy...

anyone else experiencing delays over there?

I have a theory.
I think Cryptsy ques up smaller amounts of Uno and waits to bundle them into a transaction with a larger withdrawal.
I've noticed this because I always look at the block when I do an exchange withdrawal (I'm just funny that way since MintPal). Even though I received my withdrawal quickly, I often see that there are smaller transactions for others that derive from the same withdrawal address.

So my theory is that when someone withdraws a larger amount of Uno, it will also trigger sending of your 0.6 un.
After it arrives, look up the tx-id in the Chainz explorer and see what you learn.

thx.

sent support mail & received a quick reply from marjorie that tech support would 'push it through'

it arrived pretty quickly after that.

I replied with gratitude and asked what the cause of the delay was, I';ll report back if theres a reply.

prices arent too good on Coaex.com

i intend to get some silver bars but not at these kinds of prices.

i used to feel how you feel with my bullion bars but now they just sit, doing nothing

kinda how i felt with BTC a while back, its mostly just headaches now tho, a lot less fun

...feelin' good on a wednesdayyyy...

Woo hoo! Too slow, Edgar! Sirsmokes just made Uno history by buying the Hedge at 8 Uno, and another at 10.

At this second, two ounces of silver is $US 34.56. Divide by $2.38 CMC price for one Uno = Hedge (plus-minus) 14.5

Now, this is where we begin to learn, campers: we shall watch (the hopefully increasingly active) market start figuring out the value of a Hedge.

We might call 'Arithmetic A' what I have posted: cost of silver divided by CMC $US-Dollar of Uno.

The thesis is that Arithmetic A will by no means be the market determiner.

That wall at Cryptsy is looking better all the time.
Just wish someone would PM me with assurances that it's not from MP. I might be inclined to take the whole thing.

Oh well... Fair play to Sirsmokes!

Best of Luck, Bud!

As to that 777.7 wall i was 'this' close to grabbing it too but looking at the state of things at the mo im not too inclined to throw more money at uno as it keeps getting dumped.

its now less than that gone!, what's the deal with 'might be from MP' ?

(not so) Fun fact - i have tripled my UNO holdings while the BTC value has actually decreased...

(congratulations, suddenly-so-quiet 'looks like a pump but it isnt' guys)

1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 19, 2014, 02:12:18 AM
@ FK: sadly, can't help with MP addresses. Thank heaven, I lost one Uno.

@ Hedges:

Hedge001/IMZ Opening Special: 8 Uno -- and I will re-purchase it on the spot at the going rate.

All other Hedges for sale.

This is 'Phase One,' guys. 10 weeks. No one will be left with un-saleable Hedges. I will buy them all back if we need to 'unpack' the Project.

Go on then, twist my arm!

i'll grab that while i wait for bts to reload with the uno strikes

@IMZ

Im interested in some silver still but would prefer to hold it rather than hedge/coffee can it.

was it you or bitcoincharlie that had single oz's?
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: October 13, 2014, 06:25:54 AM
i stopped playing once we soared past 0.007, its obvious a 'small' group of people are manipulating others to snatch up periodic bunches of UNO - 'stick up little sell walls' stick em up! STICK EM UP!!    MUNCH!

i was picking up a few UNO every day since launch with a few occasional splurges but since this shit i dont even bother.

its just depressing
