Anyways, is it relatively safe to move my entire savings into Bitcoin? I want help from experts about this..
For sure, it's. Why wouldn't it be not ? Price may drop to $100 or something like this and I can lose everything very fast, right? Is it even possible? I'm really afraid of this. Well, you will find my reply highly optimistic and realistic for me, so please don't understand as I'm encouraging you or anything. First of all, always don't risk what you can't afford to lose. Second, since first doesn't apply for me, because I'm all in, I can't see that bitcoin will go to zero or will take a high dip to $100, even if it took, I will be ultra-happy so I can buy more coins.Third, as I always say, forget about the normal Joe like you and me, do you think all that bitcoin startups and VC with all effort, money and power put into bitcoin, is put without seeing tomorrow ? We are talking here about millions of millions.At last, I see a better tomorrow with Bitcoin, not only me, a lot here agrees with me and we as a community march together for a better tomorrow, and let this reply be the witness  ive read this numerous times - care to explain? |

I just sold. .8 on localbitcoins  And Deutsche Bank sent me my "we're cancelling your account because we can" notice. Bitcoins + cash from localbitcoins = Bitcoin user not affected. This is what ive been expecting - what happened to your savings? confiscated/stolen? |

fuck the bear market fuck the sonsobitches whos life purpose seems to be to slam the price lower to buy back at profit at everyone elses expense fuck em ! why do we *have to* go down when most everybody wants a higher price aside from the *maybe* couple hundred well funded bear manipulator leverage short dumpers ? deal is if we run past 300 and stay there, the shorter dumper manipulators are done screwing the market below that - they lose at that point, by varying degrees - be it a stable 300 or a run to 350 or 400 or giant pump to 500 and beyond - they've banked on being able to hold the price below 300 indefinitely - NOW is the time to price them out of the market and end the bullshit downward manipulation ! force the bears out ! keep the price above their loss level ! this is the only way forward !

if you have the time/inclination, id appreciate a PM. i do like coins with smaller totals but 42 & 23/CHAO are just a bit much. Though i'd def choose CHAO out of the 2(already burnt by 42) and i think some of the newer ones are just attempts at cloning our relative success. ive placed a tiny bid for both DMD & CBX but not on cryptopia. E2A - that was supposed to be a PM but my brains elsewhere.. nevermind |

i actually havent taken the time to look into it but from what ive seen on cryptopia, 'every' UNO pair is extortionately high and the volume is almost non-existent. no surprise here...  so thanks but no thanks. maybe AFTER the recent pump has subsided will i take another look. |

i have had AVG Internet security for'ever' with no problems
i installed Ad Aware this week.
after installing ad-aware, AVG has removed my flax.exe, unobtanium.exe and marked them as trojans (not allowing me to ignore/allow)
so ive deleted ad-aware & re-installed flax & uno wallets.
flax = synched as expected. no problem
uno STILL wont begin synching...wtf??
also - malware-bytes activation key was removed/deleted somehow ( i can only assume ad-aware or AVG)
getting flustered again with this nonsense

Up until now the stance of creditors has been 'all the money and your prized assets' with a gun at your head - the model the IMF and World Bank has used for decades with remarkable success in Asia and South America. Nice to see it being defeated in Europe, and ironic that the IMF is now backing Greek debt relief.
When you put it like that it's actually quite sickening that a rich european country should be let off the hook while lots of south american and african countries have been struggling with insurmountable debt since the 60s and 70s. I still think sharing the burden is in everyone's best interest though, but ... BAAAMMM!! And the light shines through! For me this is the most important lesson of all of this - for people to wake up and see that this has been going on globally for decades and is the scourge of American 'capitalism'. Hopefully having it on our own doorstep will help people to realise what it is and that it is simply unacceptable. Yes, we will all have to share the burden to move through this and there are many worse affected countries than Greece that are still on the hook, or have been milked dry and left to rot. It is insidious and evil and has been done with intent. Meanwhile the banksters retire to their islands with the loot ... I missed out the other part of the policy, which is to 'support' (instate) a regime that will continue to impose the inevitable repression needed continue the cycle. The moment opposition arise it is crushed, physiclly or metaphorically, or a leader dies in an unexplained plane crash. This is not the stuff of conspiracy...it's real. Congratulations to all genuine holders on the resurgence of Litecoin. For me is was unexpected. Some might find that the current valuation at $7.63 is unprecedented, but am I right in remembering that it was was once at $20.00+? I sold all my Litecoin for Bitcoin and now have interests in others coins that have also performed well. However, I've always been well-disposed towards Litecoin and have found it to be fast and reliable. You now are bound to get some subtle detractors with hidden agendas. Oops sorry, give it some time I just re-started ixcoind on one of those nodes, turns out it was not running on either as I am still trying to get all those machines converted over to Ubuntu. Evidently in the process of moving stuff off of there I had killed ixcoin on both machines without noticing. (It has so many nodes I didn't think mine were going to make or break anything.)
If your old wallet gets connections though you could copy its nodes.dat over...
...That might seem like messy clutter as likely it is full of long-dead nodes, but someone out there will know about thousands of long dead nodes anyway and tell you about them once you do connect so what the heck, dead nodes are going to always be cluttering up node files probably, no point worrying about that.

just updated to IXC core 9.3
stuck at block 268296 (3 hrs behind)
above nodes didnt help - old wallet (0.3.24.30-beta) still syncs fine (when it eventually stops 'Not Responding')

backup laptop is now synched and wallet.dat restored.
main laptop still not synching/0 active connections after multiple attempts & complete wipe/fresh installs
Can you rule out that a firewall might be blocking it? You may have a firewall in your router, and another one on your computer. You shouldn't need a Unobtanium.conf file, but do you have one with addnodes? not as far as i can tell. nothing in the router appears to be blocking, no other wallets are affected.. have tried with addnodes & without - no diff. truly confused |

15 hrs later - still no block source available. Just me?? Mine is working. Did you try it with the conf file (specifically the addnodes) as described in the first post of this thread? multiple times on both machines.. guess ill delete the chain and restart. = nojoy scrapped & downloaded fresh = no joy. baffled |
