1741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 11:12:16 AM
PREjudice & PREjudgement imply without any basis, while i can submit i have not experienced the entire asian population of the planet(kinda stupid thing to have to say)the numbers that i have experienced afford me the right to judge (IN MY EXPERIENCE) those that have failed to show concern or empathy with a life in suffering....in my experience.

can we get back on topic now?

Soon as you REDACT the racist comments sure.

Why shouldn't scammers get a pass? Cause it is WRONG.
Why shouldn't racism get a pass? Cause it is WRONG.

Next time keep your slurs to yourself and you won't need to be edmucated by me.

meh. facts are facts.

i know what i live, you're free to know what you've read.

come to asia and see how we live, why theres no such thing as a public ambulance or national health care.

why the road traffic accident toll is what it is. why the avoidable death toll is what it is.

i wasnt being racist, i removed a fact from my post to avoid being called a racist by book edumacated judges.

(south east) asians ARE known for referring to themselves in the 3rd person. AS ARE SOCIOPATHS.

and presumably psychopaths, but i really do not know so will not speculate.

im all for education, but not when its forced or from an inaccurate perspective.

that could be worse than saying nothing

edit - if my personal experiences are baseless, then your opinion is worthless to learn from.

im legit, come & check us out!
1742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 10:44:59 AM
i wrote that but deleted it for fear of being called a racist - but yes, this is true

i'll also add that they are much more sociopathic in my limited experience

i was really hoping payonix was legit

"Race is a real cultural, political and economic concept in society, but it is not a biological concept, and that unfortunately is what many people wrongfully consider to be the essence of race in humans -- genetic differences," says Templeton. "Evolutionary history is the key to understanding race, and new molecular biology techniques offer so much on recent evolutionary history. I wanted to bring some objectivity to the topic. This very objective analysis shows the outcome is not even a close call: There's nothing even like a really distinct subdivision of humanity." - Alan R. Templeton, Ph.D., professor of biology in Arts and Sciences at Washington University

How does one determine if a cultural, political and economic demographic within any society is "much more sociopathic"?

Where is there any evidence to support that claim? http://www.amazon.com/Sociopath-Next-Door-Martha-Stout/dp/0767915828?tag=vglnkc3725-20 Might want to read this book Edgar... and are you part of the 4% of Australians or Canadians, or Americans or Japanese or... that are sociopaths? See where I am going with this... 4% of the TOTAL human population.

Psychologist Martha Stout – who – clinical instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School for 25 years – estimates in her book The Sociopath Next Door that as many as 4% of the population are conscienceless sociopaths who have no empathy or affectionate feelings for humans or animals.

fair play, but in MY EXPERIENCE, asians are more likely to SHOW their lack of empathy/care/genuine regard

I have lost count of the number of strangers lives i have attempted to save, merely for being 'there' at that time - NEVER have i seen an asian 'lend a hand' unless there is a camera crew or an obvious reward. when there is an accident, lives are at risk and need to be protected, asians do not see life in this way - 'things are how they are, its not my business'

whereas a non asian sociopath would perhaps tend to mask it with fake consideration.(the wolf in sheeps clothing)

perhaps this is the opposite end of the spectrum where we do as much as we can because we hope that we would receive the same consideration..?

Only in asia have i seen SUCH disregard for life, though i wont deny that all 'races' have their selfish, greedy monsters

now how about those hashing stats?

maybe it got so hot as to melt solder and create an open.

That's would be what I would look for.

Use a flashlight and a magnifier and check the big power-carrying solder joints for hairline "cracks".  You can try push/pulling on the VRM too and looking for movement of the pin in the solder pool.

I used to see this all the time in old TVs and monitors and such.

If that's the problem, reflowing the joint with an iron should fix it.  Add a bit of fresh solder in the process to make it shiny again.

In the future avoid getting it so hot.

Thanks guys!

i will have a look in and around them vrms as i think that is whats occurred, before the issue i saw the same chip reach >80C

i tried heating the entire area which did raise Gh/s but only temporarily.

Im also waiting hopefully for a better fw or at least to see what the 'tuning suite' will be capable of.

Thx again, if you have the time, a close up of the most obvious areas to check for cracking would be very much appreciated.

an iron and some solder would be entirely doable.

are they going to be able to manage shipping the modules & nov orders at the same time?

let us know when repeating oneself became necessary to get even the most basic concerns recognized.

Next i'll be required to provide my order number...

I will NOT be calling europe as i stated categorically.

we call - we get told to email

we email - we get told to wait

we wait - we get left waiting

Is the only recourse to pull out potentially non-faulty boards that may only need a decent firmware and fly to sweden for the level of service afforded most 'businesses' ?

manners come with respect, respect is earned the hard way not handed out freely to the inconsiderate and dishonest.

@Phoenix - they WERE a bargain, all 3 minutes worth of bargain.

it was a free for all, not the 'appreciation' saturn and mercury owners were 'sort of promised' by someone who may or may not have been a paid employee at the time it was written.

i was unable to benefit from buying boards except as a backup/spare as my jupiter only has 4 connectors, but i was also stuck in a queue of blocked bandwidth and was unable to purchase so it is not really my concern, i do however feel for those that were eagerly waiting for this easily miss-able opportunity.

except asci-k who grates on me, although im sure i grate upon plenty of folk here - please accept my sincere apologies if my tone/language offends any other than the intended recipient.

lol the time to crop vs whiteout tabs of porn or whatever he had

more lol at your pathetic but effective diversionary tactics.

are you aiming for a knc 'position' as well?

Maybe you should call KNC in the morning and get some of these questions answered.

I know people here would appreciate some answers -- sooo.... can you do it?

I could, but seeing as most calls get 'not' ignored and im not made of money, i have sent a number of emails which have been 'not' ignored but instead answered by an automated response which promises to be followed up by an appropriate response within 1-2 working/business days....

except they are not followed up, and are in fact left 'not' ignored and then brushed over by the one man who actually answers for the entire knc team as 'trolling' doesnt get acknowledged/answered.

Therefore, if you have been 'not' ignored then you must be trolling aka undeserving of a response. Despite how many people are seeking the same information.

@davewr - I appreciate your input, i am aware of variance and its effects but 50Gh less than 3 weeks ago is hardly what i would place in the realm of variance.

Again, i appreciate your time and your not 'not asking' for 'donations-for-support' like some kind of cunt kind but not nice guyswould might.
1749  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC news on: November 13, 2013, 05:02:39 AM
Power costs meant something on miners less than 1 Gh...   it might mean something again next summer or next fall but only if the miners are dirt cheap.  This isn't 40W a Gh anymore

So you're saying it's ok to lie on a press release, because it's not a very significant issue?

asking specific questions that relate to MULTIPLE interested parties, as opposed to singular stupid ones is apparently trolling.

Have you not been paying attention?

The 24/7 model has grey-colored fan blades, where the other one has white.

I believe the coolers that came in my Saturn have the white-style fans.

Oh no, color clash!  What will I do?   Cry

Lol.

Oh no, the ones used by knc are not designed for 24/7 use!

What will we do?  Apart from have significant facts obscured by retards shills fools god knows who, for god knows what reasons?

Could this explain the never-ending fluctuations on these rigs that defy logic regarding cooling(or heating)

Not lol, at all!

Promo for the sale  Grin

"You returned them, we're selling them back to you at a profit!"

and - #21073
extra modules are a shit deal if your early pre-order september delivery arrived at the end of october and has no 'extra' connectors attached..

and besides - despite more than one miner doing exactly that, the f/w isnt designed to accept 6 modules....apparently... IF youre lucky enough to have them.

i wonder if the 4 un-needed VRMs will become necessary again.

now i also wonder if there is any correlation between 6 module boards and 8 vrm modules....

im tempted to buy a couple just in case i ever need an RMA and dont want/deserve to be left 'getting by'

after weeks of board 3 (slot 4) being my hottest at around 74.5 it now has an issue with Output Current of 0.438 A
since today, board 2 (slot 3) is now hotter as it was during previous fw, however i have not had any hardware concerns until now.

is there a newer fw on the horizon that will sort this, or should i expect to incur losses upon losses?

After hours upon hours of rebooting, resetting, reflashing, re-enabling & reading (& waiting) i have a 40Gh loss in actual performance - shall i just reflash it and wait 3-4 more hours...?

is there a newer fw on the horizon that will sort this, or should i expect to incur losses upon losses upon headaches upon time wasted?

Huh?  Are you serious?  Do you even have an Avalon?  or even a hat?  I am raffling my HashFast Sierra too.  only 0.1BTC for a chance to win!

P.S. The Sierra does not exist yet, but even if it does and even if I have one, I will just pretend to pick the name of a bitcointalk member that I created myself or a friend of mine who is in on this scam.

Huh?! Are you simple? Would YOU raffle something off you don't own?

Do YOU even blow circuit-breakers with >4000W + who knows how many Amps on chitty chinese house wiring??

1btc may well win someone a fully functional B2 avalon 3 module mining rig in the next month or so...

Regardless, i decided to keep on mining...

Enjoy Your trust Issues!
