1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 04, 2013, 03:21:42 AM
Bizarrely mine did the same thing...

'Pow'..etc
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 04, 2013, 02:59:55 AM
keep trying to up your game mouthpiece, your diversionary tactics don't go un-noticed. Nor your stalking..

now you are 'we' ?

Pray for you to give it a rest like you said you would, about 4 times.

1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 04, 2013, 01:14:03 AM
showing the immediate ratings after reflashing is hardly 'BOOM, PoW' Etc

you know full well that these rates will fluctuate, so why go ON & ON & ON & ON?

do you really want to show you have the bestest in the barn 15 times a week, only to have to review the 'new truth' 15 more times.

you and feedback loop would do us all a great service by giving it a rest.. even a short one...

BooMM!!

1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 02, 2013, 07:46:45 AM
Exactly correct.  Also that "network protection" statement was made on 7/18/13 (6 weeks after they started taking orders) so all the people with units in hand knew nothing about that.
No, that's not how it works. The network protection statement affected everyone's assessment of the value of their pre-orders and other people's pre-orders and it affected people's decision to buy them, sell them, request refunds, and so on. There may be people who have units in their hands today who made the decision to buy other people's pre-orders because of the network protection statement. Once you do something that change something's value, other people act based on that.

Everyone with a miner in hand made decisions knowing of the existence of that statement.

(This is a general principle. In this specific case, the network protection statement was weak and basically meaningless. I'm just pointing out that the timing argument is bogus.)

+Yea!

Also, My HR lowers at night, when the chips are around 10C cooler.
1773  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Does KNC Miner need VRM heat sinks? on: October 31, 2013, 02:26:05 AM
I don't know where to buy some locally so I'm about to do some digging if you guys say yes they are required

By no means are they required. Could they possibly help? maaaaaybe. So I bought some. In fact, I bought enough for the 32VRM Jupiters. Now I have 2x too many

r u selling the spares?

i might be interested in 16

although the ones on the amazon link are attached with 'adhesive tape' - would not thermal grease be a much better intermediary?

even old pennies with a drop of TG might be better than copper coloured aluminium adhesive taped on sinks...?

So far with fw 0.9.8 my saturn went from 135GH/s to 203GH/s at the pool. That is the first time I've seen it hit 200GH/s. I wish I could get to 270+ like some of you guys are getting.

Hey, have you used bertmod to see what is going on in there? Post those stats, maybe give you some ideas. Hurry!

and enablecores.bin
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 29, 2013, 06:44:52 PM
i tried adding stratum+tcp:// yesterday and experienced a 100Gh drop that didnt improve until i removed it again.

Still stable @ 570 on .98 here.

1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 29, 2013, 03:13:33 PM
seen twice now - when upgrading, clock resets to 01.01.2000

when it refreshes to todays date and time - Avg. HR & WU both drop to zero & cgminer shows avg HR as 1.683Mh/s

Restarting the PSU after date/time refresh seems to sort it

Now its stabilizing around 570 Gh/s

WU has risen from 7700 to 7986

582W with 100% cores enabled

so far so good

1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 29, 2013, 02:35:38 PM
is bertmod & enablecores the same thing?

i have 2 separate .bin files but neither 'seem' to change anything.
