Please, edgar, do the following:

1: Write FedEx/DHL on how to improve thei shipping routes (as they are seemingly doing something wrong by your account) LIE
2: Stop blaming spondoolies for what a shipping company does.  LIE
3: Tell us whether FedEx/DHL will hire you as their shipping consultant. WTF
4: Tell us how you would design the perfect bitcoin miner with a good efficiency aswell as shipping (and building) as fast as possible. ZZZZ

Please Collider, do the following;

1 - PLEASE dont cast aspersions
2 - PLEASE dont twist a picture into a blame game conundrum - its dishonest and pathetic
3 - PLEASE mind your own business and stop being a perpetual knob-jockey
4 - PLEASE dont try and turn other peoples failings into a bunch of confusing and pointless waffle.
5 - PLEASE dont bother replying, you are a waste of time AND energy.
6 - if you REALLY feel the need to make stuff up and tell victims of deceptive marketing campaigns how they should be over the moon, PLEASE try focusing your energy on your new best mates' conduct.
7 - if you genuinely feel the need to acknowledge a post, PLEASE dont just ignore the major point/s and focus on what you think is important/easiest to confuse the issue!!

i struggle to see your purpose in continually telling me (and others) what to do wrt spondoolies fuck ups!! (NOT THAT I HAVE OR DO HOLD SPTech RESPONSIBLE FOR DHL's LOGISTICS) but you know that dont you, you just cant help yourself from twisting facts into blame-game shit - again and again

you have your machine that you claim to have paid full price for, enjoy it!!

again, i beg you - please dont reply to me. your kind of help is far from helpful (to me)

all i see is yet another crooked 'helpful' poster who cant help but run his mouth for no valid reason - unless its part of the unmentionable 'deal'

NDA much??   <<<<<DO NOT ANSWER!! - I DO NOT CARE!!

Thanks Zvi - hoping for as little input as possible to be honest, but thanks for the heads up!!
1282  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 28, 2014, 09:47:36 AM
Obviously - 13 hrs in the wrong direction is to be expected & nothing to worry about at all.... (17 hrs since pick up)

Despite making it clear that i'll be away from the 31st, DHL not delivering on Sunday (the 31st) & Guy clarifying that he has no clue if it will arrive this month or next.

but thanks for your 'help'

Are you being fair here?
I assume you got a tracking number and you want an answer from SP when it will be delivered.
SP has said they use the fast possible method and this you can verify from the shipping rate they used. If they used a slow one then you have every right to complain.
Since it has left SP premises and it is with DHL you have to deal with DHL.
DHL/UPS/TNT DONT deliver on Sundays - so even if they used a different company you wouldn't receive it on Sunday.

So now to your issue. The miners are using DHCP to setup network. Maybe you have to make the space needed, prepare network and cabling and have somebody place it there, power it up and then use teamviewer from your computer to setup the credentials to your pool etc.
Then you will be a happy miner Smiley

i think you may be confusing one or more posts with mine.

all i posted was a map with arrows pointing the wrong way. NOT blaming anyone, just pointing out FACTS as opposed to assumpotions and obfuscations. (im not suprised it threw you off though, with so much of it going on in here.

it was collider who once again jumped in with 2 left feet announcing that it was 'normal' and 'nothing to worry about', for what - i dunno...

im sure you can agree that 17 hrs in the wrong direction is far from 'usual' and equally far from 'nothing to worry about'

as to being fair - is shipping the 'august' miners on the last possible days of august fair??

is having a self appointed army of BS artists confusing everyone, fair??

it matters not.

and.... i have not mentioned DHCP/space/networks/cabling/power or any of the other stuff you mentioned, although i dont doubt there will be more drama once it arrives despite what the handful of 'full price' paying optimists claim.

all i/we can do is sit on our hands and occasionally vent in here - and even that seems to upset the same fortunate 'full price' few for some reason...

it seems the 7 usd per day theyve been accruing for 2-3 weeks isnt enough to keep their noses out of the rest of our concerns... peculiar!

wow its in Memphis already , cant help but be excited to receive it now even with the lower hash rate :  This is my first bitcoin miner after mining scrypt the last two years.

Nice!!

Best Of Luck!!

Germany serves as a hub for fedex aswell as dhl.

Even miners flying fedex to the US pass through Germany, so nothing to worry about.

Obviously - 13 hrs in the wrong direction is to be expected & nothing to worry about at all.... (17 hrs since pick up)

1285  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 【SOLD OUT】The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1595 per unit on: August 28, 2014, 04:10:36 AM
This user is currently ignored.
Music to my eyes. Smiley

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not "complete speculation".  Bitmain, to the point, stated that they would be releasing an upgrade for the S2 in Aug/Sept.  So perhaps you should check your facts before you tell people to "Grow the Fuck UP!".

He's just upset because I called him out on acting like a child in another thread.  But yes, Bitmain stated that they would release the S1 upgrade option shortly after the S3 was released, and the S2 upgrade shortly after that.  I have no reason to doubt them at this point.  It makes perfect sense from a production point of view, I just hope it's more affordable (or less ridiculous?) in price point than the S1 upgrade is.  At this point the S1 upgrade is only good if you have dead units collecting dust.

Edit: Don't take my word for it.

Reserved for updates and FAQ

3. Will there be S1/S2 upgrade kit and what is your plan?

Yes, there will be upgrade kit for both S1 and S2 customers. But we need some time to design and test it. After we have finished the homework, we will announce the plan publicly.
Reserved for Q&A and Updates

1. Will there be upgrade parts for S1 and S2?

Yes, there will be. But we still need to solve some production/testing problem before we finalize the plan and public it.

Upgradable
All AntMiner S2 and S2 kit will be adapted to the Hash Boards with next generation chips. Clients can freely choose the upgrade version Hash Boards to replace the ones in hands.
And finally
A short good news for the S2 buyer is that we will let the S2 to upgrade to 1.8TH/s or 2TH/s at very low cost which you can only image now in the August or September. It still depends on many factors to let us achieve that and detailed plan needs to be drafted, But we are very confident that we can make it.

From Sept 22 the upgrade on it will prob get back .15 btc

maybe just in time to offer them for sale for 0.1499 btc

OK, so I've finally received my compensation offer, cutting it a bit close for me to make a decision as they have started shipping.

The offer is an 18% refund, which is the difference between the 5.5TH they were originally offered as and the 4.5TH.

However I decided to jump on the group buy AFTER you posted the following because the increase in hashrate made it a much better deal and you were supremely confident of meeting your targets.

The SP30 will be able to produce over 6 THs. Probably over 6.5 THs with 2700 Watt (2 X 1200 rated PSUs, each PSU is able to input 1350 Watt)

I think therefore the refund should be based on the rate you were advertising at the time of purchase, which in my case is around 30%.

When the drop in hashrate was announced in this thread, I said a couple of posts later that although the offer of compensation was good, I urged you to consider the fact that the power consumption figures were also way out and that this should also be reflected in the offer we received. It's sad to see you have decided to ignore this part of the failure. Sad

We're screwed BIG time buddy, I bought 29 x SP30s and I don't think I will be able to get an ROI unless a miracle happen and the difficulty stops going up so fast (which is not possible) or if the BTC to USD rate goes up (Which no one can tell).

IF I get my money back that's it no more mining, it's over.

I have some SP31s ordered, and the risk is there; Even a delivery end of October, or weeks before change a lot, what we can expect in return. A few month ago, sha256 chips were using obsolete chip technology (>40nm), this is no more the case today, this change a lot the perspective.

im finding it very difficult justifying spending more on futuristic 'expected' results.

3 more grand or 5.7 btc for 5 ish TH, maybe...

 ...in november

the cash offer is hardly appealing either!

on a brighter note - 'shipment picked up'...

arriving saturday or monday...?

oo, the pressure!

* my 1 year track record is one financial rape after another. if it wasnt for zetacoin, i would have been fkd last year.

one let down after another - and another  - and another.

the hangers-on do alright cos they get fat discounts & early hardware in exchange for time spent pew pew-ing the more vigilant among us.

ONLY BITMAIN has genuinely impressed me, and that is due to the 10% effort they put in far exceeding the 0.5% every other company has put in, instead relying on the aforementioned 'cheer-leaders'

but even Bitmain has lost my respect after opening up thier rigs and seeing the embarrassing thermal compound efforts & the all new 'pre-order' BS

back to the compensation - crumbs in 'october' or crumbs 'off' an 'october' rig of unknown abilities....

THAT is the question!
1287  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 27, 2014, 01:33:01 PM
can someone stick up projections for '5.5Th' on the 1st of November

944 from 3920 still leaves a fat balance to be paid in the next 7 days for delivery in the 'second half' of October (4th quarter/11th hour)

It's pure gambling with the diff:
https://coinplorer.com/Hardware/Simulate/53fdd7483747f913201e2b9f?key=3cf7337f-763a-43ff-bfc5-a9d3eab1093a

the few estimates ive seen have been pretty grim

between 180 - 300+ days to break even depending on electric cost.

Order #127X.
Got my tracking info.
Hope they get to Washington by Friday!

Order #127X.
Got my tracking info.
Hope they get to Washington by Friday!

WTF!

I am #121X and I still have not even got the email regarding the compensation... forget about tracking... um order queue much?
how quickly did you pay?

I transferred the full amount the day after the 0.1BTC deposit was paid. Not sure how many days it took to end up in their account.

That should not matter anyway! It was made very clear in the GB that the shipping queue would be in the order of the 0.1 BTC deposit that was sent to Roadstress not when the full amount cleared.

Come on ST are you shipping out of order?!? And still no email in regards to compensation or shipping yet... Am I like the last person from the GB they are going to contact?

how exactly they determine the order, i wonder?
I have order 11XX, but did not receive any email. One day extra in shipping could mean 3 extra days delayed because of Sat, Sunday and labor day Monday.
I would like to hear why orders with later numbers are being emailed/shipped first.

?!

#116x - paid the same hour payment details were provided!!

NO info forthcoming, have had to BEG squeak for basic details. (IE - we don't know if it will arrive in august)

while muppets without orders have had a personal response brigade sat waiting for more tripe to reply to.. pointless & repeatative

joshua-esque naughty list or what??!!
1291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 26, 2014, 02:00:27 AM
so we have to undervolt/modify it to even get 4500gh??  please tell me i read that wrong! THIS is in fact 2 questions....
also, ignoring legitimate critics is kinda classy...
i asked a specific question and all ive read is childish responses to a dimwit - where are MY answers??
jimmothy - would you REALLY send these guys more money?
no matter what they say, im done & VERY, VERY disheartened!!
i feel as though KnC have relocated, changed their names and started all over again in israel.
SAME shit, different what???

I do not ignore "legitimate critics", people who actually bought our products or people who ask questions.
i am here to communicate with current and potential customers, not idiots and trolls.

I don't owe anything to anyone else.

I am a person who paid for your (2500w) product ...aka - CURRENT CUSTOMER

i asked yesterday if i can expect it to arrive before the 31st when i am away for 2 weeks - This is/was a question too

All my questions among others have been 'overlooked', does that mean i am now firmly in the idiot/troll camp??

or is there some other explanation why rawdog (non-paying ball-bag) gets 3-4 stupid answers to stupid shit, while I (the paying customer) gets to repeat myself ad nauseum...

glad you are all seeing the light

shame it took you all a year to catch up

rape just ain't what it used to be

knc today isnt the same as knc one year ago - its worse, i agree

jupiter batch #1 False and #2 were nearly perfect. especially batch#2 made those buyers a ton of bitcoins. rma were quick and without hassle.

their attitude changed in january when they decided not to sell those extra chips they had and go instead for datorhall.

batch 1 was shit - trust me, i still have one they REFUSED to rma!!

batch 2 was nice, hence them stopping selling it/them!! but no-one made TONS off any knc junk!

i still have one with flickering dies!

they were cunts in august 2013, and have remained as such since.

the main difference now is their weak little PR girl is no longer shilling her weak little heart out on an hourly basis.

@ phonie - LEARN TO READ YOU LYING, ILLITERATE MOUTH PIECE!!

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO BE TOLD??

is there any proof that ALL the people who air their grievances here are AM(or any other competitor) shills/employees??

it seems that there is so much pointing fingers and not nearly enough apologies/humble pie being eaten - 'yea, but look over there'

how about focusing on getting the already raw miners their gear instead of spending so much energy pointing fingers elsewhere?

so far as i can see, its only YOU guys that find any of this amusing!!

i for one, with just one SP30 (paid in FULL in APRIL) find NONE of it in any way amusing.

in fact im starting to get annoyed, knowing that my rig will arrive on the 31st if im 'lucky'

im going away for a fortnight ON the 31st!!

is there ANY chance i'll have time to set this crippled beast up before heading away for our SEPTEMBER holiday??

1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: August 25, 2014, 06:44:58 AM
So, we are both looking to buy. But check Un-ex right now. I will add an offer to sell 10 UNO for .04.

You then post 'I accept Trade xyx,' and PM me your UNO addie.

Go!

m.

I'm trying to understand exactly what you all are doing.  So if someone agrees to your offer, you send him 10 UNOs and he sends you .04 BTCs?

Jelks

it IS a bit confusing, i agree. but i think its just the early days of experimentation.

i have received 10 UNO & am now awaiting directions/BTC address for sending payment...

unless they were a special complimentary trial gift bonus offer.
1296  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 22, 2014, 02:32:28 AM
To be honest , I did not expect from you SP-Tech to wait until the last day of August to start shipping our Gb.

Yeah this whom thing has become a disaster for August GB customers the funny thing is for the large scale and well funded clients like jtoomin, collider and roadstress its been great as they keep telling , of course it was you got to mine pretty much all Aug at 19k diff, by the time we get our miners running in Sept diff wil be near 30k.

So the $500 we saved per machine has already gone poof, you can't tell me if we knew we would get our boxes tho late we would have signed up for this shit.

Even funnier that for all sp tech claims the are all for decentralization and fair mining the screw the little guy just like everyone else.
In the world of bitcoin mining I've come to expect pre-orders to ship at the end of the allocated shipping period.

with one glorious exception-bitmain. They ship on the exact day that they say or EARLIER, which simplifies hosting arrangements if you need them.

That's why from now on I buy from Bitmain. I'm tired of this crap with pre-orders. Every single company I invested in have failed their promises and exploited me: KNC, Hashfast, Black Arrow, Bitmine and now S-T. It's just embarassing for me to admit how stupid I have been.

you weren't stupid!!

you were lied to, deceived, manipulated and promised a bunch of hot air - as were the rest of us.

ONLY the handful of loud braggarts are ever likely to continue fawning over the situation.

the next time ANY hardware manufacturer comes out with PRE-ORDER fairy-tales, we should hammer their threads with DO NOT PARTICIPATE - BUY BTC!!!

when they remove our posts, start new threads with their names in capital letters plus  - DO NOT PARTICIPATE - BUY BTC!!!

then the likes of roadstress/collider will simply go back to hassling/hustling tourists with 'time-share bargains' and the creepy manufacturers can actually risk some of their own spondoolies for a change...

what makes it worse 'for me' is the months of uppity bad-mouthing of other shitty manufacturers, followed by a carbon copy of their abhorent behaviour.

have you no self-respect??

don't answer - that was rhetorical.

money talks!!     www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrUB0g8Vjgg

Quote
Starting in October, we will compensate you for the differential in hashing power according to each customer's preference. We will contact each and every one of you over the next few weeks to discuss your preferred method of compensation.
Also, 2nd half of August means that your units will ship any day now (though it could be as late as the 28th)

You will therefore get your shipping and tracking information soon, once the unit was shipped.

To my knowledge, spondoolies has never broken any promise in regards to shipping time.

No, they haven't but their vague statement "second half of August" could mean 31st of August which is a bit of piss taking so hopefully it won't be that way...
KNC did that with their 1st Jupiter Batch they promised to start shipping in September 2013. Basically they started shipping one the last day of September as to make up their supposed promise.

and KnC's versions of Collider & RoadStress bombarded the thread with hundreds & hundreds of over the top 'enthusiasm' while 99% of the rest of us were ignored, lied to & generally shafted.

but at least they were happy....until the next round when they got the same treatment as the rest of us.

just 12 months later and look at the state theyre in...

dont get your hopes up for an august delivery...

august shipping - september delivery

(feel free to pseudo-refute, drynamic duo - i wont be reading again until tomorrow, ive wasted enough braincells re-reading your dull cut n paste 'content')

Aug Group Buy -

august shipping, probably.

september delivery, probably.

1298  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 18, 2014, 08:24:33 AM
Is there a number we can contact spondoolies tech on?
I had some trouble with my bank with overseas payment and finally got it done on Friday. But I e-mailed spondoolies and got no reply.

Friday and Saturday is week-end in Israel. Try sending another e-mail to sales@

sunday/monday arent - do 'weekend' mails get deleted somehow??
1299  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 18, 2014, 06:40:36 AM
Again, if you have a valid order, why donīt you just email spondoolies-tech with your order ID and kindly ask when your unit is scheduled for shipping?

what is the purpose of again implying that i may not even be a customer?

IF i didnt have a 'valid order' why would i care??

your repeated attempts to divert MY focus where YOU want is stupefying.

1300  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 18, 2014, 06:23:07 AM
@edgar
Please tell me how the software lead on a 3-day vacation (during which he was answering questions) slows production down.

I find it important to get a vacation here and there, especially in todays hamster-wheel work environment.

In case you didnīt know, Zvi was probably the hardest working guy for the last months, as most of the software work was done before release.

If Zvi got burnout because of your shitty "nobody gets a day off" strategy, you would have a much bigger problem on your hands.

zzzzz....

lets not divert attention from the requested details with intentional 'misunderstanding & twisting of statements' again, eh?

there is a time & a place for everything.

NOW is the time for 'all hands 'pon deck', however even i am now falling for your misdirection tactic.
