if anyone is able to add an updated step-by-step walkthrough of this process it may be appreciated.
i have downloaded python 2.7, pywallet, twisted 11.0, zope interface 4.1.3 and bitcointools-master.
all but pywallet are in the site-packages folder (pywallet is in the Scripts folder)
assuming this is all correct i am unable to 'cd into the bitcointools directory'

I was under the impression that it was 100% Blazr2s work (aka Hagbard Celine, iirc), with whom i previously enjoyed numerous conversations.

Has anyone had any success recovering privkeys from a corrupted wallet.dat?
like a boss i pulled out the .dat file whilst the client was open and now i cant open peerunity at all without removing the file.
Ive downloaded the latest release to no avail and am struggling with pywallet/twisted/zope

I cannot freakin' mine PR/Uno-testnet. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but Multiminer always returns an error. I have it setup exactly like 15 other coins I can successfully mine.

No, I don't have mining resources. But someone is mining it. That was me, but I suffered a SSD failure & am now reloading my server - should be back up in a few hours. However, the doze wallet is still screwed until a savvy dev kindly sorts it out, as I wouldn't know where to start. My coding skills are next to zero I'm afraid. Disclaimer: I never had a load of PRO - but I know that there were quite a few who did & were totally miffed when BW dumped it, leaving them in the lurch. I'm not sure what to do with it but BigVern says on twitter that some coins (not BTC, LTC, DASH of course) can be withdrawed from Cryptsy. If I had some of those I'd try to log in as soon as possible...

I have less than 10k coins stuck in Cryptsy. What shall we do now?
the exact same thing you did whilst being told to abandon ship for months - nothing. my 5000IXC loss was an 'admin theft' so i wiped my mouth and pulled 'almost' everything else off. i may well have lost my XJO, BLK & ZET though... not checked yet |

At the moment, it is very dangerous to deposit BTC to Cryptsy. There are many complaints that BTC withdrawal is pending at Cryptsy and Ixcoin withdrawal may be stuck. It would be safer to wait to buy Ixcoin at other exchanges.
I can confirm this, everything there is trapped for me for months. Use caution. |
