1442  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinTerra announces Bitcoin mining contracts from 200 GH/s starting at $999 on: May 27, 2014, 09:32:07 AM
this is why i feel bad to make such a fuss, i only paid for one rig and am aware of others who paid for multiple rigs....

BUT - 6 weeks (in my case)12 weeks (others) waiting for a refund with no response to emails is outrageous and tantamount to theft.

I am growing increasingly disgusted with the lack of consideration from the CoinTerra 'team' (as well as others)

You seem happy enough to force people into signing NDA agreements yet somehow have no thought at all for the fact that some of us NEED the money we trusted you with.

what is your problem Cointerra team??

do you wish to be labelled as thieves & con artists??

1443  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4, Price changes daily, now 2309 USD for 1TH/s on: May 27, 2014, 08:52:57 AM
@ Nortian - did u try waiting for a full 10 minutes for the retarded enermax safety switch to reset?

@ freebit - apparently no, we are supposed to be over the moon that ALL the potential profit goes to Bitmain - you cant have a reasonably priced miner AND expect to make a profit (so i've been told)

saying that i bought one more @ 3.4BTC.... so apparently i CAN have it both ways (pay through the nose AND moan about it Wink )
1444  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4, Price changes daily, now 2309 USD for 1TH/s on: May 27, 2014, 02:13:02 AM
i was unaware there was a timeframe set to the upgrade, it seemed as though it was imminent.

though with the the pathetic price rises it may just be irrelevant by the time its 'deployed'

and thats not taking into account that it may be a BS marketing strategy - buy my overpriced S2's yo, theyre gunna be upgradable...honest

i hope my cynicism is unfounded!

Dead die?

This is an October Jupiter that's been running from 24/7. Noticed I have a dead die. I already increased the SPI voltage all the way up to 3.3V and it wouldn't kick it on. Then I slowly increased the individual die voltage to the MAX, which is +.1465. Didn't awake up the die either. Is there anything else that can be done to kick this die on?  I would really thought that the rig would last a lot longer then 8 months.
My October Jup is dying  - every now & then it stops hashing and says pool URL invalid in PuTTy.

a few reboots/restarts/curse words later and it usually gets back down the shaft

but its happening more often and requiring more effing about to get it back hashing.

in fairness it could do with a scrub - but that can wait.

how about them refunds?

Did you upgrade to Firmware 1.01 ?
Maybe Firmware 1.01 was made to break Octorber/November miners.

I did NOT 'upgrade' for this specific reason.

Still No Refund here either!!

This makes me nervous, I have an October Jupiter too. Is yours OC'd or otherwise modded?

Nope - its as standard.

i have OC'd it in the past but now its more likely to cause it to freak out (URL invalid bullshit) so i just let it run as is.

The November rig has none of these issues, and both OCT & NOV are more stable than the newer S2s which freak out almost every day.

1447  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra Refund Issues on: May 26, 2014, 05:22:56 AM
ALSO still waiting after more than 6 weeks

emails go unanswered.

desperate times....
1448  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WTF Cointerra on: May 26, 2014, 05:11:50 AM
Also waiting - SIX WEEKS NOW with no refund and almost NO response to emails!!!!
1449  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra TerraMiner 1.6 TH for $3799 on: May 26, 2014, 05:09:48 AM
my April rig was never shipped.

my refund is now 6 weeks after them saying it would take UP TO 4 weeks which is a pisstake in itself!!

before you send them any money, ask them what are they doing about refunds and how much longer ppl are expected to wait for their money back...

1450  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4, Price changes daily, now 2309 USD for 1TH/s on: May 26, 2014, 04:42:12 AM
thats twice the price has gone up in the last 3 days...

why not just charge in BTC??

Its disgraceful keep changing the price so we can hardly earn a satoshi no matter what the  BTC price does!

1451  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 45TH Giganto Miner! on: May 26, 2014, 01:57:59 AM
For fuck sake!  Why do people entertain this type of ridicules hoax!!!  Let it die folks...  He will eventually go away.

quite simply because the 'mods' allow them to post their bullshit all over the place while deleting posts that warn other forum users to beware...

i will repeat for clarity.....

How does the experience compare to Cointerra?  Undecided

pretty similar - both begin with big promises and a webwide marketing campaign

though KnC had the upper hand with their in house fan girl/cheerwhore who mysteriously and ominously went silent.

Both companies give off the impression they are doing the best they can but that seems impossible in reality as its just an outward impression, not based in fact.

if i was a rich man i think i would be ready to go legal with them both now, but as im sure they are both aware, the majority of their investduhs are actually just regular guys with no real power behind them.

which leaves us with little alternative but to wait wait wait, and occasionally send emails that are either ignored (CT) or replied to with generic cut n paste answers that mean very little (refund in a few days, a month ago) (KnC)

if was the incredible hulk, i would have smashed both of their factories to pieces this week

what would really rub salt in the wound would be of they combined forces (KnCT.Gox)

i dont consider myself greedy, but i want my money back qand i wanted it back pretty much the day i asked for it - not 1-3 months later , maybe....

but then this will probably be deleted as well so perhaps i should send all the other scammers money as well....

fkn zeusminer anyone??

or that industrial plug monstrsity....

notice how their blatant thievery posts dont get deleted...

collude much??
