perhaps in your limited experience. i have bought from most of them, and bitmain is a distant 3rd (at best) lying, extorting, ignoring, confusing, disorienting, passing your problems off onto uninformed wannabe uniformed bullies, do not make you trustworthy. at all. they merely lump you in with every other manufacturer out there... bar one! |

I´m asking the same since upgrading from 2.3.46 to 2.5.12 my sp30 is unable to tolerate the previously acceptable ambient temps - even though its now december and considerably cooler! i repeatedly requested a FW downgrade but after days of asking i simply lowered max watts and now get 4.1 instead of 4.5-4.6 if i push any higher i get thermal instability until sunset YMMV |

Isn't the dad still on the radar and was fully involved in the early stages. Nothing has shipped since he left, nothing has changed, don't see how he can say much about not knowing anything. Complain to the bureau that issues professional licences for accountants in the U.K. and inform them of the totality of the fraud involved. They will have serious trouble keeping their accounting licences if this is done properly.
You could track their houses down fairly easily, they have many paper trails due to business and financial records. The issue is, seems like nobody near them is willing to do anything. Pay for my trip and housing and I'll go investigate for you guys, haha. i said the same thing but got no interest. ill be around there in a few weeks so i might have a nose about... not that i really care as i got my refund 11 months ago like a boss |

Grrr.. I really want to pull the trigger on an SP31, but it doesn't make sense to me. For $1600 I could have 2x S4, running at 4.4TH overclocked. Or even better 3x for $2400 @ 6.6TH/s. Am I missing something besides the obvious increase in hardware quality, density, and customer support of SP over bitmain?  FUCK bitmain! if you want shitty, thrown together hardware with the cheapest, overpriced components on the planet - Bitmains got plenty - but don't be fooled by empty promises and costly RMA procedures which i can almost guarantee you will need. if you want quality hardware with 'getting there' support - choose SPT without a doubt my main gripe with SPT being fw discrepancies and a seemingly overworked support team of 1 (now 3) just my humble opinion based on my own experiences - others opinions may vary |

pfff, my sp30 runs at 4.1 on 230V since 2.5.12 upgrade & having to underclock it just to stop it from thermal freaking.
compared with 4.7 at higher temps on prior FW
but if you'd appreciate an opinion id say go with 'now' over later.

The smaller ones are ridiculous, but oh so 'cute' - id buy plenty if they were anywhere near spot price
but even the 100g is 75usd PLUS shipping where 3.2 troy oz of silver is currently 51 usd.
anyone buying will ALSO be required to pay these extra tax/fees on top.

in my experience the coins are the worst for investment purposes, but the best for gifting.
and most people who receive gold coins (again IME) will sell them at a price significantly lower than spot.
