indeed. i had much less issues with the newer boards that were delivered first. this time im using a cougar gx1050w, was dubious but its fine and i like its PCI-e cables. nice and chunky. OC'd them to 375 but these older 2 seem like they are happy to go to 400. we'll see how things look after 24 hrs these slightly older ones may need their firmware updated... i want another 3-4 but not really prepared to pay 1.45 for them any more. |

Further they strongly recommended that the sender should modify the destination address, instead of me modifying the destination after the label has been printed. Because it's more administrative overhead and it might fail if UPS-internal eMails are not read in time or other things go wrong. The lady one the phone could not really believe I'm not able to get it send to another destination address, especially if the label has not been printed until now. Seems like it is not very usual that a company refuses to do so. like misleading buyers, forcing them to break the law regarding shipping, refusing to honor refunds, refusing to issue rma's, switching the TOS, using a retard to promote/lie/make thinsg up/guess/ distort evidence, playing mind games with buyers and generally being out & out twunts... lets not forget they are Phakeonixs favourite company evver!! evidence enough in itself... |

Maybe I've missed it but why are you worried about temperature anyway? Do you have them running in a small closed space with high temperature?
I've had (and have) several S1's, most OCed to 400Mhz, without any adjustment to cooling. They run at my attic, I think the temp there is about 16-18 degrees C. It's not even a big room but more a little extra space under the roof.
not sure who u are asking but mine are in a tropical climate, average 30C ambient temp... so additional cooling is a must. and there is a fan connector on both boards so why not use them both, plus additional fans if needs must...? |
