1181  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 05, 2014, 08:20:17 AM
already updated before it became inaccessible.

just installing google remote now.

i sent you a skype request a few minutes ago

e2a - myminer does not seem to work at all now. i can see neither SPx

2nd edit - Much Thanks to Zvi, 15minutes and im at least stable now at 1.5TH/s

needed to up the max watts & fan speed (its quite warm here)
1182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 05, 2014, 08:05:03 AM
Hi guys. The SP20 is shipped with initial limitation of 200W for the PSU. That is about 1.3Th. Most of you have good PSUs and will want to set it to maximum.
Settings->"Max PSU Power Unit X"->288 Watt.

actually mine arrived with 100 limit and a comment to 'up to 120'.

i did try that before it became in-accessible.
1183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 05, 2014, 07:50:35 AM
after swapping PSUs & PCI-e cables i now have one dead PSU and cannot access the rig at all.

BUT, myminer.io now sees it...

You might be pulling more watts then the PSUs can take on start up. After a few seconds as all electrical appliances they settle down.  Coolmaster PSU is Bronze? Maybe very close to the 80%. Anyway it is almost 10 AM in Israel let’s see what they say.

it seems to be stuck in 'boot up' (fan/s on full and no yellow/green led)

Spondoolies is/are online...

Anybody hit near 1.7TH with the SP20?

1.299 on the GUI

0.00 - on the pool...

it seems to submit a share or two at cgminer restart and then stalls out.....

Good Luck All!!

After 5 months of lies and empty/broken promises, Bitmain has finally asked for my wallet address and has agreed to pay up the compensation owed.

Once this is paid i will bow out of Bitmain threads indefinitely.

September October Jupiturd will be off on the next diff rise...

CGMiner restarts every 5 minutes.

GH on the pool never gets above 249GH - usually sitting around 49GH

Is this 'punishment' or is everyone suffering equally?

when cryptsy was being slow to release UNO, i pulled out a total of 3800 UNO in 4 999 lumps.

that was the exact time that uRan was diminshed and uCun appeared.

since then my hard drive has faultered and 90% of everything i own is now in jeopardy.

'Day 4 of chkdsk /r /f C: has stalled... disk is grinding & clicking ;(

i have a few UNO left on cryptsy along with a few other alts...

UI says 1293GH - BTCG says 94GH but then stops

Total shares in 90 minutes - 11

on rebooting UI changes IP despite switching off DHCP

updated to latest FW... no diff

UI also states BTCG pool is 'dead' while all other rigs are running on that pool...

E2A - using 2 x Cougar 750w PSUs linked with 'Add2PSU'

I am having the exact same issue and I've tried multiple pools.

Shutting down until there's a solution.   Sad

what PSU are you using?

i sincerely doubt that is causing the lousy performance but would like to know anyway.

Asia.

Return to factory default settings didnt help much, except BTCG is now shown as 'alive'

Mining is still minimal & sporadic

Myminer.io doesnt see it - Found it with Adv. IP scanner

CGMiner stops running every minute or two

Unfair money always fails.

a great piece of wisdom there

Just checking in to say, hi and good evening.  I'm still here.  Just super busy with homework.  Working on a Grad degree in Project Management.  Increased my UNO holding by 11 today ~ !

Unobtanium - 38 ~ !

... or 39...

Z

P.S.  My coins are still on Cryptsy.  I still need to reset this notebook to factory settings.  I still cannot "open" any coin wallets on this computer; bitcoin, unobtanium... and someone wanted to send me some deepcoins, but that one didn't work either.  Electrum will not open, either... I really need to reset this computer to factory settings, but I'm dreading the time it will take to do that and to reload everything... ugh...

Going to experiment with a paper wallet and the computer upstairs when I have the time...

im going through something similar - 3 days of chkdsk and only 24% done...

cant access any files or wallets - dreading a re-install + lengthy backing up.

i actually wish id left everything on cryptsy now...

Searing, say what you want when you want bro  Wink

Hey edgar,go fuck yourself, you old whining fart!!!!!!!!!!!!  Cheesy

Fuck You Too!!

Searing is a blight on our landscape - how many times does one 'man' need to repeat himself when hes wittering shite?

'just sayin' - doesn't excuse one from being a cock

the irony being, i am turning into as much of a prick as the one/s i admonish...

which is why i have begged and pleaded for him to just STFU.....ffs

Unlike OP who PM'd me to please post in here, my issues are yet to be resolved.

Bitmain has offered, i have accepted - bitmain has then changed the offer repeatedly over 5 months, making false claim after empty promise again & again, and i am STILL 4 PSUs out of pocket... and not cheap PSUs!!

He pretends to not understand significant concerns and that a bad deal is not an option for some people.

' why you not to trying our hosting?? '

' just send us more 1000s USD and we will give you your compensation '
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 30, 2014, 05:09:07 AM
Typical endless gibberish....

ball-less, brainless, clueless & worthless..... who won't STFU

Just what the crypto community is lacking

Its even worse than that he skyped me a few months ago to to chat and I warned him not to go with KNC, due to the fact they fucked ppl over on the Neptune and mostly due to thier DATORHALL.

Of course he ignored (he really likes to hear himself talk i guess) me kept yapping on how he could expense this tax this tax that  dude no one cares if you a legal or iliegal miner keep that stuff to your self jebus.

Now of course whith this latest KNC fail we will have to hear his bitching for the next six months even though he was FOREWARNED.

no idea wtf you are talking about..never skyped with you...you are mixing me up with someone else...i've only skyped with two folk ever on skype with btc stuff (not realatives or friends)

good to see i'm still p/o'ing off edgar...in that he is on ignore....(good to have goals)

sh*t you guys must just find me fascinating o you'd have put me on /ignore jeez

better use of your time if I annoy you that much just cut paste and use this /searing

i already told you more than once that only ignorant fools ignore people, even obviously ignorant fools can teach us things.

like i have learnt how annoying cunts like yourself influence many people with your constant assault upon our senses.

kind of like how gross fast food corporations make so much money simply by putting images of their shit in our faces.

it does not mean they offer anything of value, merely that shoving shit in peoples faces inevitably leads to sales.

in your cases it just leads to more frustration tho, as its so endless with not even a juicy looking burger to rush out & buy.

Searing - you really dont know how much you embarrass yourself - and that is so sad (just like your 'mate', Phonie x)

you both sound like you just found the internet and now you think everyone here is your new family and just has to hear your boring story 15 times a day....

it was bad enough when it was just in here, but now your in multiple threads saying the same shit over & over.

1199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 30, 2014, 04:57:57 AM
Ive been waiting patiently since JUNE for compensation which bitmain had finally offered to pay for four dead PSUs (actually i RMAd the first one, but the replacemnet which took 2 weeks was DOA & dented too, so its 5..) after MUCH MUCH struggle and effort

Can you post your order number so it can be looked at please? [or PM to Tim]

im not in the US

i have sent all relevant details to bitmain - as i stated we have exchnanged over 400 emails. most of them utter stupidity, usually repeatedly.

i am now at the point that only actual compensation as offered previously will suffice.

i have enough shit antminer junk in my home, i am able to read and as such will never accept another dangerous (3 month BS warranty) rig from bitmain.

four S2s = FOUR DEAD PSUs + 1 more PSU that was RMA'd and arrived dirty, dented and only able to power 9 blades.ffs!

multiple dead/failing boards have been RMA'd - some were ok, others not.

a Dead power board has been RMA'd - an equally shit & filthy one was sent

a dead control board has been RMA'd - it works but arrived absolutely FILTHY.

he's refused to replace the buckled fans & the dead LED screen and to be quite honest the last blade needing RMA'd has just sat gathering dust despite having been sent a shipping label. Its just more messing around to be sent yet another already RMA'd piece of shit.

so now ive repeated myself to you too, what do you suggest?

more order numbers?

more screen grabs?

Tell 'Tim'?

ZZzzzzzzz....

Not the answer I was looking for unfortunately, but thanks for your reply.

I will add that our estimations on RB and systems preformance were honest. It wasn't a deliberate tactic. I did learn a lesson here.

We also found the root cause, which we'll make sure not to repeat on future gens. I'm sorry that I'm vague here.

We'll start another round of refunds (and complete the first one, we have problems with small number of international wires) soon.

Guy

should work on the underpromise/overdeliver model a bit. By comparison, almost every single bitmain product has been capable of acheiving 10% over spec
S1: 180->200GH
S2: 1TH->1.15TH
S3: 440GH->500GH
S4: 2TH->2.2TH

while i 100% agree with the sentiment, every single bitmain product has been an overpriced, failing/used piece of shit.

s1 was the best of the bunch - but without days of 'fixing' they were shit.

s2 was just overpriced shit, they revised it about 5 times, each time it was shit - when they finally got it right - they stopped selling them and continued mining them instead. i bought 4, all four were fucked up - all four took MONTHS of emails to get more shit sent...  2 of them are STILL fucked and run only 9 boards

sorry, but fuck bitmain!!
