Folks, I hate to have to clue you in to reality but the modern concept of 'business' is predatory in nature. Its not just mining. Look at the supply chain from the 3rd world to the 1st world in any area of commerce you care to name and you will find enough crap to rip your heart out if you have one left.

How many times do you see people here include in their ROI calculations on new equipment its used resale value, hoping to get more than it is really worth from the greater noob fool ?

Please spare me the anguish about KNC. I know its fashionable and politically correct these days but please … mind your own affairs and try to do a little good often.

BOOOOM!! All Y'all Just Got Lit Up, Cuh!!

Why am I always left out?
I want to by Guy/Collider/RoadStress too!
Welcome back from vacation!  I hope it was good.  Now get back to work.

Ha!

Now theyre both funny!

nothing wrong with me, but ive seen people get fkd by asic manufacturers since avalon batch 2 and not one of them has had any concerns with pitchfork wielding miners...

so essentially you are not only wrong, you're also intentionally being a shit-stirrer/dickhead.

its not needed.

how long before the 1000th rig gets shipped??

im in the 11xx area so kinda expecting some personal shipping news in my inbox....

have you guys (SP Tech) considered NOT taking regular 2-3 days off during , seemingly the most critical point of your multi-million dollar endeavour?

seems the logical thing to do...
1303  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 04:08:58 PM
so now im a spondoolie troll...?
You're certainly not a troll and I do answer the best I can. Feel free to continue asking.

Guy

rather than repeat myself, s1gs3gv pretty much covered my points of focus.

i know others are in similar positions so its advantageous to get details here for all rather than i repeat what 'spondoolies' may or may not have 'told me' in PMs.

i got into this GB based upon my absolute disgust with KnC/CoinTerra/AlphaTech/Avalon - not for more of the same 'best mates 'til shipping'  flavour.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 17, 2014, 10:06:22 AM
sadly, we are surrounded by human vermin who take sick pleasure in fucking strangers over and then blaming them for being so stupid as to believe blatant lies...

some of them deserve it for doing the same/similar thing previously...

but they fail to acknowledge any culpability due to their aforementioned sickness

Well, we are people and people make misstakes and bad judjments.

this is true, and we forgive those that make mistakes/bad judgements IF they learn from them.

serial mistakes arent mistakes, theyre something much darker and deserve no forgiveness.

and some people are just cunts
1305  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 10:03:56 AM

No, its just a simple 'get out from being upfront' clause to deal with ANYONE who doesnt cup the balls & work the shaft a la bick...

ie - anyone who is still waiting & actually makes an effort to find out 'are we there yet?'

so now im a spondoolie troll...?

thats everything wrapped up perfect then.

no need to answer anyone but collider , roadstress and creepy/stalky bicknellski
1306  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 07:08:51 AM
I do not know where your basis lies for speculating that I feel victimised.

I am hoping you and other forum members appreciate both my repeating of spondoolies statements aswell as my (not too wild) speculations.

I do not mean to be condescending when providing updates in regards to receiving miners, but to reassure all who are waiting that these actually exist (and atleast in my case perform at 4.5TH).

As I see no ultimate way to refute the proposition that I am in fact Guy, I will not attempt to do so.
I however see the burden of proof on the other side, as it is very difficult to proove something is not the fact (ie there is no invisible flying spaghetti monster).

I guess I speak atleast one other language than Guy, but then again, he could be multilingual (and pretending not to know a certain language).

read back through the entire thread, its in there (only 1-2 pages back)

Nobody said YOU were, i said i felt RoadStress was....? weird!

i dont think you are guy or RS, nor do i care much even if you are.

all that matters is you are in that lucky handful of undisclosed how many guys that are all where we wish to be. singing the praises of a new 'guy' in town... pretty much nothing else matters - which is why im not tearing my hair out.

why the number needs to be undisclosed is worrying

why the request for safely arrived rigs is a matter of ignorance or obfuscation is equally worrying

as you are 100% aware, there are PLENTY of scammers & abusers of invest-duh funding out there to warrant the concerns of the 1000? or so waiting for information that doesnt seem to require classified status...

anyway, im going round & round + getting nowhere.

i need to be more productive elsewhere!!

looking FWD to the updates.

no harm intended!

its a beautiful day!

1307  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 06:43:23 AM

well, if they leave all the answering to collider they can easily claim it wasnt they who were off...

collider, are you on the payroll??

WHY do you feel the need to answer all the questions for them??

I am proud to say that I am not on the payroll of any company, except the cents I get per post for my signature (this does however contribute to the number of my hopefully helpful posts).

That being said, all my answers either reflect what spondoolies themselves have previously publically stated (which you could find out if you actually read through the thread / spondoolies last posts)
or include my own personal speculations based on what was previously said and are normally marked as such (but nevertheless turn out to by quite accurate most of the time).

Feel free to call me out on anything that you believe to be a lie though.

I am trying to provide a service to the community here, completely free of charge, to help out fellow miners.

which is appreciated but im sure you can agree there is a very consistent, blurry line between your speculations and the lack of details from HQ.

again, no-one called you a liar or personally attacked you, playing the victim is so weak i cant believe you both did so. (actually...)

you have (the first of?) your machines so are in a position to help others out, those others being other miners, not 'helping' SPTech by repeatedly 'speculating' expected shipping dates where they feel no need to do so.

im not trying to ruffle sensitive feathers, MERELY trying to find out (free of charge)when myself & OTHERS might expect to receive our August the ??th hardware...

if THAT is deemed a personal assault on anyone then you might as well release the hounds...

personally i feel Roadstress' recent 'thankyou SPT for making ME money' post was more 'insulting' to all of us waiting than anything i OR you has posted, but its just an opinion.

i believe myself to be a patient man, but having been burned in multiple ASIC invest-duh rape schemes i feel justified in requesting the most basic info wrt shipment details - and as for 'its there if you look for it' it isnt, its vague and intentionally/purposefully so, amongst a plethora of backslapping, competition abuse & failed hero claims among other unhelpful drivel. (and some helpful)

but you knew that didnt you.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 17, 2014, 04:46:25 AM
Will they even get to batch 1? =) hehehe

Well....My worst investment ever...
This may have started as an investment but it turned out to be a mugging. There are no Vipers, no batches, never were. A lot of people here blame themselves for losing their money. You didn't lose it, it was stolen and that is not the same thing as losing money in an investment. I know this because I have had loser investments in solar water heaters, cattle, bull semen, airlines, etc. etc. you name it. Alpha Technology is nothing more that an ongoing conspiracy to defraud. They are still asking for payment for products that do not exist.
And while I'm on the soapbox this morning (Can't farm, waiting for rain to stop) I have to ask of this community - Who is selling their Alpha gear, gear that is known to not exist, on eBay?
Maybe it's Alpha? I would not put it past them to do something underhanded.
My money is very hard earned and I stand to lose a bunch but I can not imagine selling my misery to an unsuspecting buyer to ease my own loss. Legally I will try everything possible to get my money back from Alpha but if all else fails I guess I'll have to take the hit. - M

1309  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 04:11:51 AM
Our commitment is to ship in August.

We're getting ASICs shipments every few days and producing at a a rate of 70 to 100 SP30 per day.

I understand your anxeity, but please be patient.
Please keep this tread professional and without personal attacks.

We'll open October SP30 batch soon. The spec we guarantee is 5.5 TH/s with 3KW at the wall.

If we'll miss the hahs-rate upwards (more probable), the customer will win.
If we'll miss downwards, we'll compensate for the missing hash-rate and keep the $/GH/s ratio.

Guy

thanks, that was easy wasnt it... im actually a bit stunned collider/RS didnt get in there first

You still avoided the actual questions & eluded to some 'personal attacks' of which ive seen zero...

im not entirely convinced you do understand our anxiety being in an entirely different position than the end users, but I appreciate the time taken to reply regardless.

1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 17, 2014, 03:45:27 AM
Just got a mail inform Tity status update, knc mentioned they are now waiting chips arrive, so which means at least another month to go, and plus shipping batch 1 Tity owner may hashing on October, this is the most idea predict, any who got other idea?

yeah this is most likely...they will slip a few units out before sept 31st to 'beat the deadline' and we will get our units in Oct more/less depending on your order number

wonder what alts will be at then? litecoin 2c? (my timing is as usual perfect on purchases...but 180 degrees in the wrong direction..its a gift!)

well I did get a BFL refund and an Alpha refund....unheard of in both cases...you can only be so dumb and lucky..so I'm back to dumb ...lucky has left the building.

Searing

oh look, more self-sighgrandizing lies...

plenty of us got refunds in january after they changed the terms for the first time...

do yourself and the rest of us a favour and please stfu
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 13, 2014, 07:37:20 AM
Hi,
Did anyone request a refund of batch one Titan but KnC replied it is no refund at all?
I remember batch 1 Titan can be refunded.
What happened?

you got lied to, by liars...

surprise!!

send them a copy of the terms you agreed to if they show B1 to be eligible for a refund (im 99.999% certain you're mistaken though)

cos they learnt their lesson when ppl with brains and calculators had to demand refunds previously.

this is the main reason i didn't & probably will never order a titan or any other idea that stacks EVERYTHING against the invest-duhs
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 13, 2014, 06:32:54 AM
the point they won't fight anymore for the customers (see my sig) GAWminers is basically taunting
KNC ..nothing....KNC does not seem to care anymore their prices have not changed on Neptunes
or Titans...GAWminers is saying they will beat KNC to market with their cheaper 750mh Vaultminer
...GAWminers just bougtht btc.com for 1 million dollars and Zenminer etc....KNC is just dumping
cash in their data hall and the bank it seems.....no outrage..no trying to match gawminer for market
share w/o a refund policy they just don't seem to give a f*ck anymore from where I'm sitting. FML.

Not much love for KNC anywhere that is for sure. Could be worse though … look at Alpha-T these days.

what happened to Alpha-T?

they were (and remain) lying scammers who twist legal interpretations to suit their continued assault on the mining community.

ala BFL, Avalon, KnC, CoinTerra et al.

on a 'brighter' note, my notvember dupepita dropped to 2xxGH..

seems my cougar 1050W has had enough.... swapped back to the old V850, back up at 100% pulling 1038W at the wall.

like a boss - the psu not the dupepita

did anyone hear searing ordered a titan? i was stunned when i got the 'news' (for the 90th time)
1313  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 13, 2014, 06:20:35 AM
I have been trying to purchase the SP-30 6TH/s miner and have actually written with Gadi a few times, then,, poof, vanished.  Now the SP-30's are 4.5TH/s and we have been trying to figure out the difference but cannot reach anyone at Spondoolies-tech.  We were going to purchase between 4 & 6 miners but could not talk with anyone.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Doing the "due diligence" I thought I had found the best company to do business with, now???  No answers.
Thanks to anyone,
gpguy

I think they just got another round of chips in, so im sure everyone is hands on deck to get the SP30's put together, tested, and out the door to us. The miners you are looking to buy appear to be available on their website for September Batch, there is enough information in this thread that you can easily decide if you are willing to purchase or not, the only reason i can see youd want to talk directly to them is for a discount.. now in my opinion, getting miners into our hungry hands and on time is more important than offering you a discount for possibly 6 miners in September (they have not even come up with a finalized compensation plan, they obviously can't discount before that happens) . Things will slow down eventually and they will become the great forum presence they have always been. Hang in there brotha.

zvi JUST said hes off for a 3 day break vacation, that isnt what i call 'all hands on deck'

NOT that i begrudge anyone a vacation, however timing is 'as they say' of the essence...

1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are here because they like reading about scams? on: August 06, 2014, 07:13:36 AM
There are lots of interesting things if you look well. If you are stupid enough to fall for a scam its your fault. Most of them are easy to spot.
You can earn a lot also if you can get into some early.

absolute shit!

this is how scammers (and rapists) justify their behaviour!

I meant if they were 18, but since everyone wants to be assholes and chastise instead of help...
Here's the next help I offer anyone in here:

The pessimistic, troll-infested, non-helping, bash-box is all yours, enjoy.

that's like the 15th time you've implied you'll keep your arrogant, passive-aggressive stupidity confined to yourself...

'waaaa, im wrong again, everyones a (insert projectionism here)'...

how about NOT making any more empty promises & applying some of that 'never stop learning' you were so wise to delete?
1317  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2014, 05:45:34 PM
Feel free to browse his post history. though if i were he i would be deleting like a madman right about now.

i asked about shipped order numbers as it appears there are less than a handful in the wild.

and im also interested in factual details of the 'compensation package'.

I have not deleted any of my posts and I will not do it. I do take responsibility for what I have said in the past. Can't say the same thing about you since you would delete your posts.

As for the shipping queue if you are not a customer SP-Tech isn't obligated to present you the shipping report daily, same for the compensation package too. There are only a handful in the wild because there were just a few July orders and my July order was shipped in July and until now nobody complained about any delays. August orders will be shipped in August. Since it's just the 3rd day of the month I don't see how can there be tons of units in the wild. Since the compensation package will be offered in October for me as a customer finding the details now or in 2 weeks or in 4 weeks it's exactly the same since whatever I will receive will be in October.

Dunno … maybe RoadStress got an early one ? I remember him crowing a chapter or two back about expecting his first one with Collider.

My unit arrived today in Iceland. I hope to have it hashing online tomorrow if not then it will be online Tuesday for sure.

....and if you/we/i/they ARE customers?

only when i err or go too far do i feel the need to delete /edit my posts but i was unaware this was a tit-for-tat event...

again, nobody has 'complained of delays' nor asked for a 'queue' or 'exact dates for exact orders', merely how many units have been shipped.

so far it seems 4.

also nobody other than you has mentioned 'tons' in the wild.. in fact no-one has said much of anything other than you and sadly its mostly been based in egotistical aggressive marketing fantasy.

why do we have to go round and round??

1318  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2014, 08:59:06 AM
I don't think trolls will ever stop, because if you go to their message history you see that they are active on 1-3 HW manufacturers posts, trying to demotivate people, and that's all they do. And they didn't ever buy miners from us. For example, s1gs3 writes only in "Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now!" and in this thread, almost every day, and telling how great Antminers are. I don't have anything against antminer, but how often do you see us going to other vendors technical forums, disturbing operation?

And at this point EVERY new person coming to this thread asking relevant question about noise, voltage, rate, warranty, delivery  or whatever will get into conversation with a troll before I even wake up.

I will do my best to convince Guy to ban people who disturb operation from this thread - I think it will be less damaging for our clients then keeping them here. He thinks they will "settle" down, but I don't see think that people should be allowed here to disturb the operation.

And even after I blocked them, I see them in quoted boxes if someone replies to them :/

Are you completely unaware of roadstress's behaviour on EVERY other manufacturers threads over the past 2 months??

why do you spend so much time & energy only replying to trolls & ass-kissers when there are relevant questions being asked??
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 03, 2014, 07:28:08 AM
I am using the 16AWG cables that came with the AX1200i; the fault is clearly with the KnC "design" and not the cables.
What makes you think the AX1200i comes with 16AWG cables? I've never seen one with anything other than "type3" 18AWG cables. I've seen quite a few of them as well.
I've also had them melt/smoke/burn spectacularly: http://imgur.com/a/UUpEG
ditto....  the 1200i's we have all have 18awg, while the regular ax1200's we have all have 16awg.  The "i" must stand for "inferior"
"Need to know"  Basics...
Plugging in the pci cable fully can be tricky, as most of the cubes have the pcb mounted about 1mm too low, and the plug tends to catch on the bottom of the hole in the cube. In order to get them to fully plug in FULLY, you must slightly LIFT UP and push in on the pci plug after it first gets a bite for it to fully slide into the plug socket.
If you miss it, and it fails to fully latch, it may indeed melt; especially if your psu employs 16awg wires.
Seeing a single wire on the pci plug begin the meltdown is a sure sign of a poor connection...
and if you use a dab of conductive grease on each pci connection, it will also help make good contact, and avoid all this.
power delivery is 95% on these imho
Plugging and unplugging the pci plugs too much or not gentile can also quickly loosen the connections.

I am always impressed with how civil and polite tolip is with regards to you guys.

You say "especially if your psu employs 16awg wires" so are you running 14AWG?

You are arrogant and wrong wrong (as usual)... I understand that reading is not your strong suit but here is a photo of one of my AX1200i PCI-e cables:

...and now with zoom:

You can't argue with this photographic evidence but I look forward to seeing you try.
