To save you do not need to remove the leisure of your budget by following the array of primary goods, savings and leisure should not change the order but to save effortlessly but buying a car with saving for me and a done, of course everything depends on the value of the salary.

I was reading a book today where the author talked about how he is 44 now and even though he's rich, he's made a lot of mistakes in his youth and he could have gotten there easily rather than struggling and making himself go through bullshit for no profit. His financial advise was to understand that salary is never enough and one must think beyond that. He also said saving money never works out. Making more money always works out Wink
ow really? making money always works out? Making money and don't have any life goals? if you not save? and you only make money and you spent it on your ways, don't have any insurances or business? do you think its works out?

So indirectly you also claim that people who do not save and just earn money do not have any life goals? LOL, you are a funny guy. Instead of taking offense, take home a new ideology and understand how rich people got richer. You will hear very often that they discovered opportunities, nobody finds a million dollar company by saving a million dollars, mate. Working smart is the best way account for hard work.

This, no one ever got rich by saving money. If you do this all you'll reach is being an old grandpa with a lot of savings. Whats the point in any case? It's all about being wealthy while young not as a guy that's waiting for some sort of heart stroke. Unless you inherited money, the only way to do this is through taking a lot of risks and doing so as smart as possible.

I have to admit that I'm somewhat greedy. That means that I save more money than what I spend.  Grin

How do I save my money ? Well every payday I used to deposit my 20-30% of my salary in the bank. I don't have an ATM card with that bank although it is easy to apply for it to avoid withdrawals and accessing it in my part.

You will hear very often that they discovered opportunities, nobody finds a million dollar company by saving a million dollars, mate. Working smart is the best way account for hard work.

Precisely. There is no point in saving up enough, only for your insurances and emergency purposes. When you make more money, of-course your spending will rapidly increase too. I have spent more than what I did when I was on a 500$ job now that I make 20k$. My needs are the same but my expenses just happen to increase, because my wants also increase. I've been trying to discipline my finance and its kinda working out.

you can also buy "prize bound" of your money they are of equal price  ..along with there is prize on bonds which is perhaps a good deal to save money ...
ur money will remain save and there is a chance that you will get a prize on ur save  .. ( if u r lucky enough)

I hope you should know, when your saving grows up, the price of goods and stuffs in market increase too, so I think value of your money doesnt change at all, although the amount is be increased. Thats why bank could give us high interest rate for our saving in time deposit.

Every time you spend money write it down. Easier to keep track of your expenses if you see them on paper.
Once you know that amount and what you're using it on, you can make informed decisions as to where you can reduce your spending in order to save that money instead.

yes, a budget that you put down on paper/spreadsheet will probably show you some expenses you never really thought of, and its a good idea to add EVERYTHING, even small monthly expenses like $8/month for netflix should be on there, if you dont account for that stuff you're only hurting yourself

You're right in the sense that all the small expenses result in a large expense each month indeed. In order to react on your example of Netflex, some accounts of Netflix allowed you to be shared (with 4 other persons, so in total 5). This makes Netflix really cheap, and much cheaper than a ordinary television contract. Besides that, also on this forum you can find very cheap life-time Netflex account, although I think those account are not legal (thus hacked or something). However, sharing a Netflix account will save you money thus. Especially if you quit your ordinary TV contract.

Every time you spend money write it down. Easier to keep track of your expenses if you see them on paper.

I mean you can only tally up the #`s so much on excel.

Eventually, you`ll have to cut the loss of whats not needed or lower it significantly. Esp, like internet being on the phone talking about how you can downgrade your service but still have basic internet. From $55 to $14 a month.

I understand what you mean. It really depends on your financial situation. I mean this can be bad, or real bad. In the latter, maybe cancelling your internet and TV contracts might be neccesary and downgrading won't suffice. A good friend of me has been there. Although he kept his TV contract (as he was unable to cancel it without extra costs), he canceled his internet contract.

He solved this lack of internet in a great way. He simply went to his neightbour and asked whether he allowed him to use his Wi-Fi. The neighbour did (as that is a nice old man) and did not want anything in return for that. I gave my friend a cheap Wi-Fi repeater at that time which I bought on a Chinese website earlier but didn't use. He placed this Wi-Fi repeater at a smart place in his house, and nowadays he still shares the internet with that neighbour (although his financial situation has improved a lot).   The neighbour still does not wants anything in return for that, although my friend nowadays washes the windows of the neighbour at the first floor - he's unable to do that by himself. A great win-win situation if you ask me. Smiley

you can to invest and you can to evolve your money.
you can to invest like an propherty and other...
you can to save on bank.. buying home, like that i think..

what do you mean evolve your money? do you mean move your fiat money into bitcoin.

investing as a property isnt the same since its more of a real assest that you can touch, but also serves as a shelter as well. although the annual rise of bitcoin is some comparison to the housing value.

Only if the house is in a really good location like the silicon valley which almost doubles every year which that bitcoin value comparison i get.

I think he meant increase money and not evolve, maybe English writing skills aren't so polished, yet. As for about investing in property, it is a nice way to get money effortlessly. A lot of houses go for rents and people pay so much to live at the place they desire. Holding assets like property is never bad, I think its very profitable, the value of land is only going to increase because the over populated earth.

Things like netflix and such are the stuff that people should be getting rid of. Paying for TV isn't needed at all as you can stream or download pretty much everything you want from alternative sources. Getting rid of non essentials even if it's just a little a month all adds up and this a is a great way to save.

yes you have a point there , I also do download most tv shows or movies rather than watch them on t.v but in some countries there is a strict rule regarding the copyright law and they might be sue
